Akuntansi dan Ekonomi Pajak: Perspektif Global 2025 Asosiasi Riset Ekonomi dan Akuntansi Indonesia

The implementation of the Regional Government Information Sistem (Sistem Informasi Pemerintahan Daerah, SIPD) represents a strategic initiative to strengthen transparency, accountability, and efficiency in regional financial management. Designed to integrate financial data and facilitate standardized reporting across local government units, SIPD is regulated under Minister of Home Affairs Regulation No. 70 of 2019. However, in practice, the adoption of SIPD in various regions, including Rote Ndao Regency, encounters persistent technical and administrative challenges that limit its optimal utilization. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of SIPD in managing regional finances within Rote Ndao Regency. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with key stakeholders, direct observation of system operations, and analysis of relevant documents. The findings reveal that SIPD implementation in Rote Ndao generally complies with the regulatory framework, indicating that the system has been formally adopted and is operational within the expected governance structure. Nonetheless, several issues undermine its effectiveness, including frequent system errors, limited functionality in accounting and reporting modules, and delays in data entry from organizational units. These limitations affect the timeliness, accuracy, and integration of financial reports, ultimately constraining decision-making processes. The study suggests that to fully realize SIPD’s potential, strategic improvements are required. These include enhancing the capacity and skills of human resources responsible for system operation, upgrading IT infrastructure to ensure system stability, and expanding SIPD’s features to meet practical accounting and reporting needs. The research contributes valuable insights for regional governments, policymakers, and system developers, emphasizing the need for continuous system refinement, targeted training programs, and infrastructure investment. By addressing these challenges, SIPD can serve as a more reliable and sustainable tool for promoting transparent and accountable regional financial governance.

This study addresses the issue of unit delays in providing goods receipt notes and routine distribution of supplies to the general logistics department, which impacts the inefficiency of the non-medical logistics management process at Ibnu Sina General Hospital, Bukittinggi. Untimely logistics management can hamper the availability of goods, disrupt the smoothness of services, and increase the risk of stock outs. The purpose of this study is to obtain a comprehensive overview of non-medical logistics management at the hospital, particularly in the aspects of planning, procurement, and control. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with in-depth interviews with five informants. The research informants include Mrs. D as triangulation, Mr. Y and Mr. B as general logistics staff, and Mrs. D and Mrs. S as unit staff. Data were analyzed to identify patterns and obstacles that occur in the non-medical logistics management process. The results show that the entire non-medical logistics management process at Ibnu Sina General Hospital, Bukittinggi is guided by requests from the unit. Logistics planning is carried out based on the receipt notes submitted by the unit, procurement can only be carried out after the receipt notes are received, and stock control is carried out by summarizing requests in the stock card. Although the procedures complied with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) established by the hospital director, obstacles were identified, including delays in unit submissions and weak stock control at the unit level. This situation has the potential to lead to management inefficiencies and stockouts. The conclusion of this study confirms that the non-medical logistics management system at Ibnu Sina Islamic Hospital, Bukittinggi, complies with SOPs. However, improvements in timeliness in submitting orders and strengthening stock control within the units are needed to optimize logistics management efficiency.

This study examines the effectiveness of the SIM Nasional Presisi (SINAR) application in facilitating the renewal of driver’s licenses at the Driver’s License Administration Unit (SATPAS SIM) of Polda Metro Jaya, DKI Jakarta. The SATPAS is responsible for managing and issuing driver’s licenses, and recent technological advancements have enabled a transformation of the renewal process from an in-person service to an entirely online platform via the SINAR application. This innovation eliminates the need for applicants to physically visit the SATPAS office, offering greater accessibility and efficiency. The research adopts a qualitative descriptive approach, with data gathered through observation, structured interviews with relevant stakeholders, and documentation analysis. Campbell’s (1989) Program Effectiveness Theory serves as the analytical framework, utilizing five evaluation indicators: (a) program success, (b) program target determination, (c) program satisfaction, (d) input and output levels, and (e) overall goal achievement. Findings reveal that the SINAR application effectively integrates the issuance and renewal processes by connecting directly to the Korlantas Polri SIM Data Center. This integration ensures seamless verification and processing of applications. The program has achieved its intended targets, particularly in meeting public needs for a fast, accurate, and convenient service. The shift to online renewals has significantly reduced processing time and logistical burdens for applicants, contributing to a notable increase in the number of SIM renewals in 2023 compared to previous years. Furthermore, user feedback indicates high satisfaction levels, largely due to the convenience of remote access, the clarity of procedural instructions, and the reliability of the application’s features. Despite minor technical challenges, the overall implementation of the online SIM renewal service at SATPAS Polda Metro Jaya is deemed highly effective.

This study aims to analyze the differences in various extraction techniques and their relationship to the yield and biological activity of phytochemical compounds from natural materials. The research was conducted through a systematic literature review from various reliable scientific sources over the last decade. The results indicate that extraction methods such as maceration, soxhlet extraction, microwave-assisted extraction (MAE), and ultrasound-assisted extraction (UAE) have varying effectiveness. The effectiveness of these methods is highly dependent on the type of material, solvent used, and process parameters such as temperature, time, and solvent-to-material ratio. Modern extraction methods such as sonication, MAE, and UAE tend to produce higher yields and better biological activity. These modern methods have the advantage of being more time-efficient and requiring fewer solvents, thus allowing the extraction of active compounds more optimally. Additionally, technologies like microwave and ultrasonic waves help break down the cell walls of natural materials, enhancing the release of phytochemical compounds more effectively and rapidly. However, conventional methods such as maceration and soxhlet extraction remain relevant, especially for materials containing thermolabile compounds that may degrade at high temperatures. These methods are still preferred to maintain the stability of active compounds sensitive to thermal degradation. Choosing the appropriate extraction method is crucial in producing high-quality extracts that can potentially be used as raw materials for phytopharmaceuticals, supplements, or other natural products. This study provides a strong theoretical foundation for further experimental research and guidance in selecting extraction methods based on the required efficiency and effectiveness for industrial applications. Thus, this study contributes to the development of more efficient and high-quality natural products.

The public’s demand for excellent service encourages the government to continuously innovate. In response, the Population and Civil Registration Office of Pangandaran Regency developed an innovation called the mobile service pickup program. This innovation integrates offline services to accelerate and simplify the processing of population documents, particularly in the issuance of birth certificates. The mobile service pickup program is designed to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and transparency of public services in the field of population administration in Pangandaran Regency. This study refers to the innovation theory by Everett M. Rogers, as cited in Prabowo H. (2022), which states that there are five attributes of innovation that influence its acceptance: relative advantage, compatibility, trialability, and observability. The research method used in this study is qualitative descriptive, with data collected through interviews, documentation, and observation. Meanwhile, informants were selected purposively to obtain relevant and in-depth data. The research results reveal that the mobile service pickup program innovation has not yet been optimally implemented, with time effectiveness being a crucial factor for the community. Therefore, this innovation must continue to be developed to gain wider acceptance among the public.

Purse seine fishing gear is a type of fishing equipment consisting primarily of a large net, designed to catch both large and small pelagic fish. This study aimed to (1) determine the effect of time differences—morning and evening—on the catch of flying fish using mini purse seine fishing gear, and (2) identify the composition and dominant species caught in each fishing period. The research was conducted at Banda Neira Pier, Banda District, Central Maluku Regency, Maluku, Indonesia. An experimental fishing method was applied, and data were analyzed using the Two Sample t-Test. Fishing operations were carried out over 16 trips, equally distributed between morning and evening sessions. The total recorded catch comprised 15,078 kg of mackerel (Rastrelliger sp.), 4,017 kg of skipjack (Katsuwonus pelamis), 18,743 kg of deho (Euthynnus affinis), and 45,601 kg of flying fish (Decapterus sp.). In the morning, the total catch reached 36,005 kg, dominated by flying fish, whereas in the evening, it was 50,250 kg, also dominated by flying fish. Statistical analysis using the Two Sample t-Test focused on the dominant species, flying fish, and revealed a p-value of <0.05. This indicates a significant difference in the composition of the catch between morning and evening fishing activities. The findings suggest that fishing time plays a crucial role in catch volume, particularly for flying fish, with evening fishing showing higher yields. These results can be valuable for optimizing fishing strategies, improving efficiency, and supporting sustainable fisheries management in Banda Neira and similar pelagic fishing grounds.

Digital transformation in government governance demands an integrated information system capable of increasing efficiency, transparency, and accountability. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the use of the Secretariat and Supporting Elements Integration System Application (Si-SEKRUP) at the Communication and Informatics Office of Central Java Province. The research method used a qualitative descriptive approach with data triangulation techniques in the form of documentation, observation, and literature studies. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of Si-SEKRUP has a positive impact on administrative management. This application is able to accelerate administrative processes by up to 50% compared to the previous manual system. In addition, electronic document recording encourages transparency, while digital and real-time asset monitoring strengthens institutional accountability. Resource efficiency has also increased, as seen from the significant reduction in paper use, in line with the principles of green office. The research findings are linked to the theory of organizational effectiveness and Management Information Systems (MIS), where Si-SEKRUP is assessed to have met the indicators of accuracy, timeliness, relevance, and efficiency of information. This indicates that the application can function as a supporting tool in strategic and operational decision-making within government organizations. However, optimizing the application's use still faces challenges, particularly related to the need for employee training and consistent managerial support. With strengthened human resource capacity and leadership commitment, Si-SEKRUP has the potential to become an effective and sustainable integrated information system model supporting digital-based bureaucratic reform.

Museums as cultural preservation institutions have the responsibility to convey information about collections in an informative manner to the public. One of the historical events displayed at the Brawijaya Museum is Operation Trident in 1968. This research aims to design collection labels as an effective communication medium by considering aspects of archive classification, material selection, label design, and information readability. The method used is action research which is carried out through the planning and action stages. The label is designed using Art Paper material with a combination of black-and-white colors and Times New Roman fonts. This research not only emphasizes the aesthetic aspect, but also pays attention to the functional aspect in conveying messages to visitors. The label design process is carried out by paying attention to the suitability between historical content and the form of visual presentation, so that information can be conveyed in a concise, clear, and interesting manner. Effectiveness evaluation was carried out through the EPIC model approach to 105 respondents, including empathy, persuasion, impact, and communication indicators. The results of the study showed that the label was designed to be very effective as a communication medium for museums with high scores on all four indicators. The implication of this research is to improve the visitor experience in understanding the historical value of collections and the efficiency of archive management in the museum environment. In addition, the design of this label can be a reference for other museums in developing information media based on a visual communication approach that is right on target. Thus, the museum serves not only as a repository of artifacts, but also as an interactive and communicative educational center. Furthermore, this research emphasizes the importance of integration between information technology and visual communication strategies in the management of modern museums. The use of professionally designed labels based on the results of empirical evaluation contributes to the improvement of the image of museum institutions in the eyes of the public. It is hoped that this approach can encourage museums to be more innovative in creating participatory learning experiences, especially for the younger generation.

Improvement amount Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks in cloud infrastructure and edge computing demands solution adaptive, distributed, and efficient detection in a way computing. Research This propose an optimized Federated Learning (FL) based DDoS detection model using Centroid Opposition-Based Bacterial Colony Optimization (COBCO) to training the Elman Neural Network (ENN). The proposed architecture consists of of two components Main: on the edge node side, a hybrid Convolutional Neural Network–Gated Recurrent Unit (CNN–GRU) model is used to extraction feature local from traffic data network, while on the server side, model parameters from each node are collected and used for training an optimized ENN with COBCO. Approach This aim increase accuracy detection at a time maintain efficiency local data communication and privacy. In progress experimental, model tested use three benchmark datasets: NSL-KDD, CICIDS2017, and CICDDoS2019. The preprocessing process includes feature encoding categorical, normalization numeric, class balancing using SMOTE, as well as validation cross (k-fold). Initial results show that combination of FL, CNN–GRU, and COBCO–ENN produces improvement significant in accuracy and time convergence compared to approach conventional such as PSO, GA, and non- federative models. This research is motivated by the phenomenon of stock price fluctuations in manufacturing companies, which reflect market instability, both internal and external to the company. These volatile stock price changes create uncertainty for investors, particularly when financial performance indicators such as Return on Assets (ROA), Current Ratio (CR), and Net Profit Margin (NPM) show varying results across companies and time periods. Strong financial performance is usually a positive signal for investors, but inconsistencies in these indicators raise doubts in investment decision-making. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of ROA, CR, and NPM on stock prices in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2021 to 2024. This study uses a quantitative approach with a causal research type, where the data used are secondary data obtained from the companies' annual financial reports. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, with certain criteria, resulting in a sample of 85 companies. With an observation period of four years, a total of 340 observations were analyzed. The analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 30 software. The results of the analysis indicate that, partially, ROA and CR have a significant influence on stock prices. This means that increasing the efficiency of asset use and the company's ability to meet short-term obligations are important factors considered by investors. However, NPM does not have a significant influence partially on stock prices. Nevertheless, all three variables simultaneously have a significant influence on stock prices. This finding has important implications for company management, namely that increasing asset efficiency and optimal liquidity management can strengthen a company's attractiveness to investors by improving credible financial performance.

The Printed Circuit Board (PCB) industry increasingly relies on automation and digitalization to improve efficiency and accuracy in production and distribution processes. One common practice is the use of labels containing product information in the form of barcodes or QR codes, which allow automatic data input and reduce the risk of human error compared to manual writing. However, in current practices, these labels are only attached to PCBs after they have been placed inside casings. This creates a significant limitation, as access to the label information requires disassembling the casing whenever product verification, tracking, or troubleshooting is needed. Such a process not only consumes additional time and resources but also increases the risk of damaging the product. To overcome this challenge, this study proposes the development of a traceability system designed to accurately monitor the location, identity, and status of PCBs throughout the distribution process. The system was implemented as a web-based application capable of generating and printing product information labels in the form of barcodes and QR codes. Each label functions as a unique identifier, ensuring that every PCB can be distinctly tracked from production to final product assembly. All data associated with the labels is automatically stored in a centralized database, providing real-time accessibility, simplifying information management, and enabling faster decision-making in the event of quality control issues. System evaluation was carried out through rigorous testing, which showed a 100% success rate in generating, storing, and retrieving product information without errors. The findings indicate that the proposed traceability system is both effective and efficient, and it offers a practical solution for industries seeking to enhance supply chain visibility, improve product accountability, and reduce operational inefficiencies in PCB distribution and lifecycle management.

The scarcity of subsidized 3-kilogram LPG in Tanjungpinang City has become a crucial public issue, primarily due to inaccurate distribution. The Puan Molek Card program was designed as an innovative solution to reorganize the LPG subsidy distribution mechanism to make it more manageable and in favor of poor households and eligible MSMEs. An evaluation based on William Dunn's six dimensions showed that in the initial phase, the program's effectiveness and efficiency were quite high, supported by collaborative data collection between local governments, neighborhood associations (RT/RW), and community social institutions. The card also provided convenient access and reduced the potential for hoarding by irresponsible individuals. However, over time, inconsistent card use and weak oversight caused the program's effectiveness to decline. Many residents returned to using ID cards (KTP) as a substitute, opening new opportunities for distribution irregularities. This indicates that the dimensions of accuracy and accountability have not been maintained sustainably. The study also noted that although LPG distribution was relatively smooth, there is a long-term potential for declining public trust if the government does not immediately implement improvements. Therefore, the main recommendations are strengthening the digital-based monitoring system to record LPG subsidy transactions in real time, as well as integrating the Puan Molek Card with population data to prevent misuse. Furthermore, local governments need to intensify public awareness campaigns on the importance of card use and conduct regular field monitoring. Cross-sector collaboration, including with Pertamina, distribution agents, and independent oversight bodies, is also needed to ensure the program returns to its primary objective: ensuring that the 3-kilogram LPG subsidy reaches those entitled to it.

This study aims to design and develop a website-based library information system using the Agile method at SMK Azzahro Palembang. The Agile approach was chosen because it allows for an iterative, flexible, and collaborative software development process between the development team and end users. This process prioritizes speed in completing each development stage and allows for continuous improvement based on user feedback. The developed information system includes several key features, such as book data management, library member data, loan and return transactions, and online book catalog searches. Through this system, library management activities become more structured, efficient, and well-documented. In addition, users—both students and teachers—can easily access book availability information without having to come directly to the library, thus improving time efficiency. The trial results show that this system significantly improves the work efficiency of library staff and user convenience in accessing information. This study also notes the important contribution of the Kampus Mengajar program, which supports the transfer of information technology knowledge to schools and encourages increased digital literacy among students and education personnel. With this information system, it is hoped that library management at SMK Azzahro will be more modern, transparent, and support the school's literacy culture in a sustainable manner. In addition to the practical benefits, the development of this library information system will also have a positive impact on improving digital competency for all elements of the school. Teachers and administrative staff who were previously unfamiliar with intensive digital system use will receive training and mentoring throughout the implementation process. This will result in improved information technology skills that can be applied not only to library management.

Measuring Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) levels and inventory in storage tanks is a critical aspect of terminal operations, directly influencing safety, operational efficiency, and accurate stock management. The Integrated Terminal Palembang – Pulau Layang LPG Site has implemented a servo-type Automatic Tank Gauging (ATG) system, namely the Proservo NMS81, to provide precise and real-time volume measurements. Despite its operational importance, there remains a limited in-depth understanding of how this ATG system functions, particularly regarding the complete process from sensing LPG levels to converting them into accurate inventory data. This study aims to analyze the working mechanism of the Proservo NMS81 in measuring LPG height and generating digital stock data for monitoring purposes. The research method combines a literature review of the Proservo NMS81 technical datasheet and related scientific references with direct field observation (KSM-LP) at the LPG Pulau Layang site. The analysis covers the operating principle of the servo sensor, which relies on displacement measurement via a mechanical float and wire system; the analog-to-digital conversion process utilizing a 12-bit ADC to transform continuous signals into discrete digital values; the communication protocols employed, including HART and Modbus RS-485, for transmitting processed data to the control system; and the algorithmic data processing that converts tank level measurements into standardized inventory figures based on tank calibration tables and product density. The results of this study are expected to improve technical knowledge regarding servo-type ATG systems, enhance the accuracy and reliability of inventory monitoring, and contribute to more informed operational decision-making. Furthermore, the research findings are intended to serve as a valuable academic reference for the application of advanced instrumentation technology in the energy industry, supporting both professional practice and further scholarly exploration in the field.

A wedding is an important event in a person's life that requires various careful preparations, one of which is sending invitations to guests. This research aims to create an Android-based wedding invitation booking application that utilizes Augmented Reality (AR) technology with a Design Thinking approach. This approach includes five main stages, namely empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and testing, to ensure that the developed application is truly in accordance with the needs and expectations of users. With AR technology, users can view and interact directly with virtual invitations through digital devices such as smartphones, which provides a more engaging, interactive, and modern visual experience than conventional physical invitations. The app's key features include invitation design selection, content customization (name, location, date, and couple's photo), as well as simulated invitation display with three-dimensional effects via AR. The app also allows users to store, share, and place orders directly through an integrated system. The results of the evaluation conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method showed a score of 75.3. This score indicates that the app has a good usability level and is positively received by the majority of respondents. In addition, this application is considered to be able to increase efficiency in the invitation ordering process and provide a more modern and personal impression to users and invited guests. The conclusion of this study is that AR-based wedding invitation booking apps not only serve as a practical tool, but also become digital innovations that enrich the user experience in modern weddings. This research is expected to make a real contribution to the development of creative information technology and inspire other developers to create similar solutions that are innovative, efficient, and relevant to the needs of the times.

Digital transformation in the world of education is a strategic step to improve efficiency and quality of services, including in terms of attendance recording. This study aims to examine the change in the manual attendance system to digital in an effort to improve the quality of learning documentation at PPTQ Al Huda. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through distributing questionnaires to teachers and academic staff. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of digital attendance has been significantly beneficial for the majority of respondents. This system is considered more practical, accurate, and efficient than manual methods. Digital attendance not only makes it easier to record student attendance, but also strengthens transparency, accountability, and supports data-based decision making. In addition, this system plays a role in improving student discipline and responsibility. Digital attendance has also been proven to reduce the practice of asking for attendance, minimize recording errors, and facilitate real-time data access by Islamic boarding school administrators. This research focuses on the development of an Android-based vegetable detection application by utilizing digital image processing technology and data communication through Application Programming Interface (API). This application is designed to make it easier for users to visually recognize different types of vegetables using the device's camera. The detection process is carried out by sending the image to a cloud server, where the image analysis process is carried out to identify the type of vegetable, displaying its name, characteristics, and benefits. The app's implementation includes an intuitive and user-friendly user interface, with key features such as login, registration, and an interactive dashboard. The dashboard displays user information, location, ambient temperature, vegetable detection history, and direct access to the camera for real-time detection processes. The utilization of cloud computing technology not only keeps application performance lightweight and responsive, but also enables high processing efficiency and data scalability. This allows the application to continue to evolve according to the increasing number of users and incoming data. Image processing is done with machine learning algorithms that are trained to recognize the shape, color, and texture of different types of local vegetables. In addition, this system is also equipped with a periodic data update feature to be able to adjust to the development of new vegetable classifications. The test results show that the app is able to recognize different types of vegetables with a high level of accuracy, as well as provide additional relevant information quickly and accurately. Tests are carried out on a variety of lighting and background conditions to ensure the reliability of the system. The success of the development of this application reflects the integration of modern technology in supporting the digital agriculture sector.

The use of office stationery (ATK) plays an important role in supporting the smooth operation and administrative activities of government agencies, particularly the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP). As an institution whose primary function is to supervise and evaluate state financial management, BPKP requires adequate logistical support to ensure optimal implementation of its duties. One form of such support is the availability of sufficient, timely, and appropriate ATK. Common problems often encountered in ATK management are overstock, which is excess inventory that leads to wasted budget and storage space, and stockout, which is a shortage of inventory that can hinder work activities. This study aims to control ATK inventory by applying the Min-Max Stock method. This method helps in determining the minimum and maximum inventory limits for each type of ATK, so that procurement of goods can be carried out in a planned and efficient manner. With this approach, agencies can maintain a balance between availability of goods and efficient use of the budget. The results of the study indicate that the application of the Min-Max Stock method in the BPKP environment produces more rational inventory figures. For the type of HVS paper F4 size ATK, the minimum and maximum values are set at 12 reams. Meanwhile, for A4-sized HVS paper, the minimum and maximum values are 72 reams and 98 reams, respectively. For printer ink, the ideal minimum and maximum quantities are 74 and 92 bottles. Meanwhile, BPKP logo folders have a minimum value of 240 sheets and a maximum of 325 sheets. The implementation of this method has a positive impact on the efficiency of the procurement and control process of stationery at BPKP.

This study examines a comprehensive approach to addressing common issues in laundry services, such as ineffective scheduling, skills gaps, and operational inefficiencies. The research focuses on RPK Omah Laundry Prapen, aiming to improve work processes and optimize human resources in this laundry business. The proposed solutions include the implementation of an attendance system, financial application training, laundry and ironing skills training, and a single-shift work system. The attendance system is designed to improve workforce punctuality, while the financial application training aims to enhance employees' understanding of financial management. Additionally, providing specific training on laundry and ironing techniques helps to bridge the skills gap and ensure high-quality service. The introduction of a single-shift work system aims to increase efficiency by streamlining operations and reducing staff fatigue. The results of the study indicate that these proposed solutions lead to several positive outcomes. The attendance system contributes to better time management, fostering a sense of responsibility among employees. Financial application training helps staff manage the business's finances more effectively, leading to more informed decision-making. Furthermore, the skills training program has shown improvements in the quality of laundry and ironing services, which directly impacts customer satisfaction and retention. The adoption of a single-shift work system reduces operational costs and increases the overall efficiency of the laundry services. Ultimately, this approach enhances fairness, operational efficiency, and productivity, creating a more conducive work environment. Implementing these integrated solutions can help laundries, such as RPK Omah Laundry Prapen, achieve better, sustainable performance by addressing key operational challenges and maximizing their workforce's potential. This study provides valuable insights for other laundries looking to optimize their operations and improve long-term business success.

Internet of Things (IoT)-based digital transformation has become a major catalyst in improving the efficiency of operational systems in various sectors, including the modern retail industry. One of the common logistics problems found in supermarket environments is the accumulation of unorganized shopping trolleys, which can hinder service flow and increase staff workload. This study presents a design of an IoT-based autonomous smart trolley system and automatic navigation to address these problems in a structured manner. The system design utilizes the integration of ESP32 and Arduino UNO microcontrollers, ultrasonic sensors for distance detection, line sensors for automatic path navigation, and Raspberry Pi modules for visual image processing in location tracking. The system is designed to be able to independently reposition the trolley to a predetermined parking station. Conceptual analysis shows that this system has significant potential in reducing operational costs, increasing labor efficiency, and strengthening customer service automation. Initial evaluation of technical and economic feasibility aspects strengthens the opportunity for widespread system implementation in the future. This design is the first step in developing a smart retail solution based on adaptive technology that is in line with the principles of Society 5.0. Furthermore, the development of this smart trolley system also considers user safety and comfort through additional features such as anti-collision sensors, an early warning system in the event of technical problems, and a manual control option as an alternative in emergency situations. The integration of Internet of Things-based technology also enables real-time monitoring and management systems through a web-based dashboard or mobile application, which can be accessed by supermarket management for operational analysis. Thus, this system not only addresses internal logistics needs but also contributes to improving the overall customer experience.
