Old age is said to be the final stage of development in the human life cycle which experiences various health problems and is at high risk of dangerous diseases. Health problems that occur in the elderly in general are a decrease in organ function, changes in lifestyle, diet and physical activity which are often the main factors in degenerative diseases including hypertension which disrupts blood flow. This hypertension often occurs in the elderly where the blood pressure is at the upper limit ( Systole) is more than 140 mmHg and lower limit blood pressure (diastole) is more than 90 mmHg. One non-pharmacological treatment that can improve the flow of oxygen in the blood is laughter therapy. The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of laughter therapy using comedy videos on reducing blood pressure in elderly people with hypertension at the Tiban Baru Community Health Center, Batam City. The Batam City Health Service noted that hypertension occurs more frequently in elderly people aged 60-70 years and over with the highest number being 9,282 people at the Tiban Baru Community Health Center, Batam City. This research uses a quasi-experimental method with a pre-test and post-test design without control. The sample provided used the purpose sampling method with a total research sample of 20 respondents. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an effect of laughter therapy on reducing blood pressure in elderly people with hypertension.

Finishing workstations have two activities: cleaning and painting. Irregular work layouts cause time wasted just to move the product to be worked on. In addition, there is no permanent work layout arrangement or placement of work objects so that every day there is a change in work layout makes workers have to make adjustments again, so this will waste time and will reduce the productive time of each worker at the painting work station. The purpose of this study is to design an improvement layout that can be used for cleaning and painting work using the motion study method. The results of the motion study analysis obtained a repair work layout combining two cleaning and painting jobs into one repair layout with the placement of workpieces and work equipment according to the needs of the right and left hands, so that the resulting work movement is more effective and increases cycle time efficiency.

Background: Increasing droughts caused by climate change have significant impacts on the agricultural sector, particularly on household food security. Purposed: To examine farmers' perceptions of the impact of horticultural crop diversification as an adaptation strategy to improve food security in drought-prone areas. Research Method: A quantitative approach using a survey method based on questionnaires distributed to farmers involved in horticultural crop diversification. Household food security was measured using the Household Food Security Index (IKP), and linear regression analysis was used to assess the impact of crop diversification on food security. Results: Horticultural crop diversification can improve household food security, particularly in drought-prone areas. Social, economic, and agricultural resource access factors have a significant impact on food security, with access to agricultural resources having the greatest effect. The validity and reliability tests show that the instruments used in this study are valid and reliable. In addition, the normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests indicate that the data meet the assumptions required for regression analysis. This study concludes that horticultural diversification is an effective adaptation strategy in dealing with the impacts of climate change and improving household food security, with recommendations to increase access to agricultural resources and support crop diversification programs in drought-prone areas.

This study investigates the impact of a Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) intervention on student motivation and academic self-efficacy in junior high schools in Indonesia. The research utilized a quasi-experimental design with pre-test and post-test assessments to measure changes in intrinsic motivation and academic self-efficacy among the participants. A total of 200 students were divided into an experimental group, which participated in the SEL program, and a control group, which did not receive the intervention. The SEL program, delivered over one semester, focused on improving students' emotional regulation, social skills, and self-awareness, with an emphasis on autonomy, competence, and relatedness. The results demonstrated significant improvements in both intrinsic motivation and academic self-efficacy for the experimental group, with average increases of +19.2 and +17.4 points, respectively. Statistical analysis showed that the SEL intervention had a significant positive effect, with t-values of 7.56 (motivation) and 6.32 (self-efficacy) and p-values less than 0.01. In contrast, the control group exhibited minimal changes in both variables. These findings suggest that SEL interventions can foster a more balanced approach to learning by enhancing both emotional and academic development. The study highlights the importance of incorporating SEL programs into the curriculum to support students' holistic growth and academic success.

Either in the form of a structural design, interior, exterior or site plan. The Budi Agung Medan School teacher's room is a teacher's room in a private school building. This site was chosen because the space in the design object requires spatial adaptation to accommodate new user activities. Apart from that, in terms of changes in working systems, uncomfortable circulation, insufficient storage requirements, and the image of the teacher's room is not yet prominent, these are the problems found. Apart from that, this is a limitation in designing the design. The Budi Agung Medan School teacher's room is a teacher's room in a private school building. The traditional food and beverage industry in Medan, Indonesia, is undergoing significant changes as Industry 5.0 technology becomes more integrated. This research explores the impact of this transformation through data analysis from 143 traditional culinary businesses. The focus is on evaluating the extent to which Industry 5.0 has been adopted, identifying factors that drive or hinder its adoption, and analyzing how this affects business operations and customer experiences. We utilized Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to examine the relationship between business characteristics, workforce readiness, Industry 5.0 adoption, and its implications for operational and customer experiences. We used descriptive statistics to understand demographic and technological profiles, while measurement model evaluation demonstrated the validity and reliability of our survey. Path analysis and bootstrap analysis were employed to confirm relationships, while fit model evaluation, R², and Q² provided insights into overall model robustness. Our findings contribute to academic knowledge, provide guidance for business owners in making strategic decisions, and establish standards for future research on Industry 5.0 adoption in the traditional sector.
