Entering the digital era, technology plays an important role in human life. The Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 accelerated the digital transformation, including the activities of school children aged 6-12 years. The use of gadgets can have both positive and negative impacts on children, so it is necessary for parents to play a role in managing screen time to maximise the positive impact and minimise the negative impact of gadget use on children.  This activity is a counselling for parents, children, and teachers conducted at TPQ Nurul Ilmi Makassar City. The methods used were lectures and discussions. The results of the activity were 25 parents and children, as well as 5 teachers who participated in counselling activities. Based on the results of the discussion, the use of gadgets can help children in finding learning resources and as an educational medium for children, some parents supervise and limit screen time for children but there are also some parents who cannot supervise optimally because they are busy working. Children are given gadgets with the hope that parents can contact their children easily. The advice given to parents is to limit screen time for children to a maximum of 2-3 hours per day and select applications and what children watch during screen time. Meanwhile, teachers need to develop learning methods so that children are more comfortable learning and playing than using gadgets.

Mental health in adolescence is an important aspect that influences an individual's emotional, social and intellectual development. At this stage, teenagers face various challenges, such as physical changes, social pressure, and the search for self-identity, which can affect their mental well-being. Maintaining teenagers' mental health is very important to prevent future psychological problems, such as depression, anxiety and stress disorders. Strategies that can be implemented to maintain mental health in teenagers include forming positive habits, open communication with family and friends, and activities that support balance between body and mind, such as exercise and meditation. Apart from that, support from parents, schools and the community in creating a supportive environment also plays an important role in strengthening teenagers' mental resilience. This research aims to provide a deeper understanding of the importance of maintaining mental health in adolescents and identify effective steps in preventive and intervention efforts to support their mental well-being.

Children as the next generation of the nation require special attention to health aspects to ensure optimal growth and development. One of the worrying health threats is the high exposure of children to cigarette smoke, which contains dangerous chemicals such as nicotine, tar, and carbon monoxide. Exposure to cigarette smoke can damage the respiratory system, interfere with brain development, and affect the function of vital organs, especially in early childhood whose body systems are still vulnerable. The impacts include an increased risk of respiratory tract infections, asthma, and various other health problems that can have long-term impacts. The role of parents is very important in efforts to prevent exposure to cigarette smoke, starting from setting an example by not smoking to creating an environment free from cigarette smoke. In addition, education about the dangers of cigarette smoke needs to be given to children from an early age to increase their awareness of the importance of maintaining health. The active role of parents in building a healthy environment and educating children about the risks of cigarette smoke is an essential step in creating a healthier generation free from exposure to cigarette smoke.

Reading ability is a basic skill that every elementary school student must have, because through the reading process, children can learn various subjects better. The purpose of this study was to analyze the emotional involvement of elementary school students when reading adventure stories. Emotional involvement as a learning tool has been proven effective in increasing student interest and motivation, supporting the development of social and emotional skills, and improving critical and analytical thinking skills. The role of teachers and parents is very important in encouraging children's emotional involvement. Teachers can create a collaborative classroom environment, choose interesting books, and parents can set aside special time to read with their children at home. Teachers and parents need to work together to ensure that children get the support they need. This also has a significant impact on curriculum development, as interesting and relevant adventure stories are included in the curriculum to create a positive learning environment and encourage children's emotional involvement.

Stunting is a health problem caused by a lack of nutritious food intake that the body needs. Stunting occurs from the womb, and is visible when the child develops at the age of two years. Literacy about healthy living environments and nutritious food to prevent stunting is very important for families, parents, caregivers, BKB administrators, and community service instructors themselves. Superior human resources come from the formation of character and way of life at an early age in the family. Optimizing the formation, improvement, understanding and role of parents in a healthy living environment and nutritious food needs to be fulfilled to provide the best stunting prevention that can be done.At this moment, the extension team provides assistance in delivering material on a healthy environment and nutritious food to prevent stunting. The delivery of this material serves to provide knowledge and experience related to stunting prevention. And the benefit is that participants get material, knowledge, knowledge and share experiences and solutions so as to produce participants who understand and understand more about a healthy environment and nutritious food to prevent stunting.This service is carried out for BKB participants in the RW. 05 Bandulan subdistrict, Sukun sub-district, Malang city, with around 40 participants. The aim of implementing this service is to help provide environmental literacy programs for healthy living and nutritious food to prevent stunting and change it. It is hoped that this service will also provide benefits for consideration, adding information and insight related to stunting prevention and the performance of BKB RW 05 Bandulan sub-district.

Teacher ethics serves as a crucial moral foundation for educators in establishing a conducive educational environment. It encompasses relationships between teachers and students, colleagues, parents, and the broader community. This article aims to examine the role of teacher ethics in building student trust, which is an essential aspect of successful teaching and learning processes. Employing a qualitative approach through literature studies, this research identifies key dimensions of teacher ethics, including justice, honesty, responsibility, and empathy, which underpin the development of student trust. The findings reveal that consistent application of teacher ethics can enhance students’ respect for their teachers, encourage active student engagement in the learning process, and foster a positive learning atmosphere. Furthermore, the trust developed strengthens the emotional connection between teachers and students, ultimately improving student learning outcomes. This study recommends the importance of teacher ethics training for educators to ensure integrity and professionalism in every educational interaction.

The purpose of this study is to determine the pedagogic competence of classroom teachers in planning learning materials for grade 6 students of SDN Kutajaya 2. In accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture number 62 of 2013 concerning Educational Standards, teachers and schools have an important role in planning or preparing learning materials to be used in learning as a medium so that the material taught is conveyed properly. This research is a descriptive qualitative research that uses observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. This research involved the Principal, 3 sixth-grade homeroom teachers, and subject one teachers. The results of the study showed that sixth grade teachers were ready to create learning materials. Teachers' skills and creativity, collaboration between teachers, students and parents, learning elements, and adequate facilities and infrastructure are supporting components that affect planning subject matter.

This study aims to analyze teachers' strategies in instilling character education values in elementary school students based on various studies and references. Character education serves as a crucial foundation in shaping students' morals and attitudes, particularly at the elementary education level. Various studies reveal that the strategies implemented include role modeling, integrating character values into the learning process, case discussion methods, and reinforcement through constructive rewards or disciplinary actions. Furthermore, collaboration between teachers, parents, and the school environment significantly supports the success of character education implementation. This study provides insights that the success of character education requires a holistic approach involving all stakeholders to create a conducive learning ecosystem for students' character development.

The use of daily journals as a time management tool among elementary school students has significant benefits in helping them identify priorities, set goals, and manage the balance between studying and playing. By recording daily activities, students can monitor the allocation of time spent on productive and non-productive tasks, allowing them to develop good habits from an early age. Research shows that daily journals not only improve learning efficiency but also help students become more organized, reduce stress levels, and enhance time management skills that will be useful in the future. For successful implementation, structured strategies are needed, including training for students, the design of engaging journals, and active involvement from teachers and parents in monitoring and providing guidance. While challenges such as students' inconsistency in filling out journals and time limitations exist, solutions like reward systems and simplifying activity logging can be applied. Regular evaluations, through weekly reflections and feedback from teachers, allow students to improve their time management and boost academic performance. Collaboration between teachers and parents plays a crucial role in enhancing the effectiveness of daily journals as a learning tool that supports better time management for students.

Character education plays a crucial role in shaping a young generation with noble character, responsibility, and positive values. Teachers, as primary educators, hold a strategic role in shaping students' character in schools. This study aims to analyze the role of teachers in character education relevant to human resource (HR) development. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach using literature review methods from various relevant journals. The findings reveal that the role of teachers is not only limited to teaching but also includes being role models, motivators, facilitators, and moral guides for students. Teachers are required to have academic competence, a personality aligned with Islamic values, and the ability to design learning strategies that support character education. Effective strategies include role modeling, giving advice, habituation, providing educational sanctions, and environmental supervision. Additionally, moral approaches such as moral modeling, moral knowing, and moral acting are implemented to instill character values. However, challenges in character development include a lack of parental support, apathy from some students and teachers, limited funding, and weak supervision in the school environment. The study also found that character education can be strengthened through collaboration between schools, committees, and parents in building routine and spontaneous activities that motivate students to exhibit positive behavior.

This research aims to explore the policy management of educational programs at SD IT Al-Anshar Tanjung Pura in integrating the national curriculum with Islamic values. The research approach used is qualitative with a descriptive method, involving observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The subjects of the study include principals, teachers, and students, while the object is the education management policy in this school. The results of the study show three main findings: 1) Policy planning is designed to form a generation that excels in academics and has Islamic character through careful planning that involves all parties. 2) The implementation of policies prioritizes a balance between religious and general education, supported by collaboration between teachers, students, and parents, as well as various extracurricular activities. 3) Policy evaluations are carried out regularly to measure the success of educational programs even though they still face the challenge of limited resources. This study emphasizes the importance of the role of planning, collaborative implementation, and regular evaluation in education policy management to achieve holistic educational goals.

School-aged children need adequate nutrients that support children's growth and development. Children can learn, play and develop optimally which is supported by nutritious and balanced food intake (Marfuah et al., 2022). School-aged or elementary school (SD) children are easily affected by malnutrition. Several factors that cause nutritional problems in school-aged children include parents' economic difficulties and low intake of nutritious food. Apart from that, parents' lack of awareness of the importance of nutrition, irregular eating patterns, and wrong eating habits also have negative effects related to nutrition (Rahmi, 2020). Apart from that, eating disorders such as anorexia or bulimia are related to social pressure, unhealthy body image and other emotional problems. Therefore, there is a need to increase awareness about the importance of healthy eating patterns, provide access to nutritious food, strengthen nutrition education in schools, and involve parents in supporting good eating habits at home, collaboration between parents, schools and communities as well. plays a role in supporting healthy eating patterns for children (Susanti et al., 2024).  The aim of this service activity is to increase students' knowledge about the importance of optimal nutritional intake in accordance with children's nutritional needs so that it can support optimal growth and development, producing an intelligent and accomplished generation, therefore it is necessary to carry out health promotion efforts in the form of providing education and evaluation to increasing knowledge about nutrition in school-aged children so as to create a healthy, superior and achieving generation.

The role of technology in the field of education is as an information center and doing new things to illustrate learning and determine online learning methods. With increasingly developing technology, it can also provide benefits that have both good and bad impacts. One of the developments in technology has had a good influence by increasing self-openness in terms of expanding knowledge as information for all life in the world across borders, places and times. Negative impacts include changes in behavior, morals, rules or morals of life so that they conflict with the moral rules that apply in society. Therefore, to prevent the negative impact of using technology in learning, it is necessary to supervise parents and educators who work together in carrying out teaching and supervising children in using technology. The presence and function of technology in the world of education provides the development and growth of human resources as a determinant in achieving success in education. Children's emotional development during childhood is a very important basis in forming attitudes, values ​​and behavior in the future. Parenting styles play a very important role in the formation and emotional development of children. This research examines various types of parenting patterns applied by parents and their impact on children's psychological well-being. Based on literature analysis from ten journals, it was found that positive parenting styles, such as authoritative, can support the development of children's emotional regulation and self-confidence. On the other hand, authoritarian or permissive parenting can actually hinder a child's ability to express emotions in a healthy way. The results of this study show that early social experiences and a positive family environment greatly influence children's emotional development, which ultimately has an impact on their success in the future. Difficulty reading the Qu’ran in students will usually be obvious. With the emergence of unusual behavior, one of them is difficulty in reading the Qu’ran. So the efforts of Al-Quran Hadith teachers in overcoming difficulties in reading the Al-Quran in class VII at MTs Al-Ma'ruf Denpasar are very much needed in overcoming students' difficulties. Based on the problems above, the focus of the research is: 1) What difficulties do students experience in reading the Koran? 2) How do Al-Quran Hadith teachers try to overcome students'difficulties in reading the Al-Quran? 3) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors for Al Quran Hadith teachers in overcoming difficulties in reading the Al-Quran? The aims of this research are 1) To find out what difficulties students experience in reading the Qur’an, 2) Efforts of Al-Quran Hadith teachers in overcoming difficulties in reading the Al Quran 3) Supporting and inhibiting factors for Al-Quran Hadis teachers in overcoming difficulties in reading the Al-Quran. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive approach,informants are determined purposively. The informants are the head of the madrasah, Alquran Hadis teacher, class VII students and parents. Data is collected by interviews, observation and documentation, then analyzed using the stages of data reduction and presentation. data and drawing conclusions The research results show that 1) Difficulties in reading the Qur’an include: difficulty in pronouncing makharijul letters, difficulty applying the laws of reciting tajwid, difficulty in recognizing punctuation, not knowing the length and shortness of reading the Qur’an and lack of fluency in reading the Qur’an. 2) The Al-Quran Hadith teacher's efforts to overcome difficulties in reading the Al-Quran are by making morning recitations of the Al-Quran, arousing students' interest in reading, providing encouragement and motivation, selecting and developing learning methods and providing good role models. 3) Supporting factors for teacher efforts in overcoming difficulty reading the Koran, there is guidance to read the Koran every morning, supporting facilities and infrastructure. The inhibiting factors for teachers in overcoming student difficulties include: low student interest and also family factors.

Cases of Sexual Violence in Southeast Sulawesi have been increasing from year to year, in Kendari City recorded cases of violence against women and children in the year 2022 from January 2022 to December 2022 as many as 40 cases. There were 38 cases in 2021, while in 2022 there were 40 cases. This research aims to find out the difference in the role of parents in the prevention of sexual violence in school age children between SMAN 1 Kendari and SMAN 3 Kendari. This research uses a cross sectional study design. The population in this research is all 2nd and 3rd grade students who are 758 people in SMAN 1 and 746 people in SMAN 3 in Kendari City. The sample in this research is 85 students of SMAN I Kendari and 85 students of SMAN 3 Kendari, sampling using the proportional random sampling technique using the Mann-Whitney test. Obtained the results of the research by comparing between SMAN 1 & SMAN 3 Kendari City, it is seen that there is no significant difference in the role of parents as counselors, the value of p = 0.134 is found, and there is a significant difference in the role of parents as caregivers, the value of p = 0.000 is found. This research is expected to indicate the importance of the role of parents as a key factor in creating a safe and supportive environment for PKS in children.

This study aims to analyze the factors that cause smoking behavior in class XI students at SMP X Surakarta. Smoking behavior among teenagers, especially in school environments, is a significant problem, because it can affect students' physical and mental health. This research uses observation and interview methods with students who are involved in smoking behavior. The results of the research show that the main factors influencing students' smoking behavior are the influence of peers, boredom during class, and the emotional pressure or stress felt by students. Apart from that, family factors also play a role in smoking habits, such as the presence of family members who smoke. Smoking intensity varied between students, with the most frequently chosen smoking areas being hidden areas at school and home. The impacts of this behavior include serious health risks and reduced quality of life. Therefore, this research suggests increasing health education in schools, providing education to parents, strict supervision in the school environment, and providing alternative positive activities for students. It is hoped that this research will provide insight into efforts to prevent smoking among teenagers and create a healthier environment.

This research aims to explore the role and strategy of community relations at SMA Antartica Sidoarjo in improving internal and external collaboration. Effective public relations can strengthen communication between schools, students, parents and communities, and create an environment that supports the teaching and learning process. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and document analysis. The research results show that Antarctica High School has implemented various public relations strategies, such as organizing collaborative events, utilizing social media, and partnership programs with external institutions. It is hoped that these findings can become the basis for developing further strategies to strengthen collaboration and improve the quality of education at Sidoarjo Antarctic High School.

This research explores the emotional development of preschool children in a family environment with democratic parenting through a systematic analysis of the literature. Preschool-aged children are in a critical period of emotional development, where the role of parents and the parenting styles implemented have a significant influence on their emotional growth. This research examines various studies that focus on the impact of democratic parenting on the emotional development of preschool children. The results show that democratic parenting contributes positively to children's emotional development, helping them develop independence, self-confidence and the ability to solve problems. The method used in this research is Systematic Literature Review (SLR), which includes identification, evaluation, and interpretation of relevant research. The studies analyzed show consistency in the findings that democratic parenting supports optimal emotional development in preschool children.
