Digitalization has become a necessity across all sectors, in line with the rapid development of digital technology and the shift towards Society 5.0. The use of digital technology is now a crucial aspect in various activities, including the economic, social, and educational sectors. In the economic sector, in particular, the implementation of electronic data interchange (EDI) and the use of social media in marketing strategies have expanded to various business sectors, including micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The shift in interaction patterns between consumers and sellers towards digital is both a challenge and an opportunity for MSMEs. However, the reality on the ground shows that most MSMEs in the regions, particularly in Sumbawa Regency, still experience gaps in digital literacy and human resource readiness in managing information technology. To address this challenge, digitalization outreach and training activities are being conducted for MSMEs and the general public in the region. These activities aim to improve understanding and basic skills related to the use of digital technology in running and developing businesses, such as online marketing, digital data management, and the use of e-commerce platforms. This outreach also emphasizes the importance of adapting to technological developments to increase the competitiveness and sustainability of MSMEs in the digital era. The results of this activity showed a 3% increase in participants' understanding of digitalization, as evidenced by a comparison of pre-test and post-test results. While this improvement is initial and modest, it reflects positive changes that can be further developed through follow-up programs and ongoing mentoring. Therefore, community empowerment through digital education is a strategic step in strengthening the role of MSMEs as key drivers of the local and national economy in the digital era.

This study aims to analyze the influence of technological literacy, accounting information system maturity, and technology-based auditing on cyber risk in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. The background of this research is based on the increasing adoption of digital technology by MSMEs, particularly in the management of financial information and business operations. However, this digital transformation has not been fully matched by system readiness or human resource competency, creating the potential for significant digital threats, including cyber risks that can impact business continuity. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method involving 90 MSME respondents who have utilized digital accounting systems in their business activities. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the latest version of SPSS software. The results show that technological literacy and accounting information system maturity have a negative and significant effect on cyber risk. This means that the higher the level of technological literacy and the more mature the accounting information system implemented, the lower the level of cyber risk faced by MSMEs. On the other hand, technology-based audits did not show a significant impact on cyber risk, indicating that the effectiveness of audits using a technology approach is still suboptimal in the context of MSMEs. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 52.3% indicates that the variation in cyber risk can be explained by the three independent variables. This finding has practical implications for MSMEs and policymakers, namely the importance of strengthening technology and information systems capacity as a cyber risk mitigation strategy. Furthermore, there is a need to improve understanding and implement technology-based audits in a more structured manner to have a more significant impact on MSME digital security.

Mursala Island is one of the potential coastal tourism areas in Central Tapanuli Regency, known for its natural uniqueness and rich local culture. However, tourism development in this area re-mains unstructured and unsustainable. This study aims to analyze the current conditions, infrastructure readiness, accessibility, community participation, and the level of local socio-cultural resilience toward tourism in order to formulate strategies for sustainable coastal tourism development. A mixed-methods approach was employed, with primary data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and a questionnaire distributed to 100 respondents. The results show that local socio-cultural resilience is the most strategic variable in supporting tourism interest (mean = 4.06), followed by community participation (3.82), infrastructure readiness (3.61), and accessibility (3.26). Qualitative findings reinforce these results, revealing that while the community actively maintains cultural traditions, they face access barriers and lack participatory institutions. A SWOT analysis led to realistic strategies such as establishing a Local Customary Tourism Unit, developing permanent piers and sea transportation, and drafting a village regulation (Perdes) on culture-based tourism. This study concludes that sustainable coastal tourism development in Mursala Island must be grounded in the strength of local social capital, cultural preservation, and improvements in accessibility and infrastructure. The findings contribute theoretically to strengthening the concept of Community-Based Tourism (CBT) and practically to informing policy direction for locally-based coastal tourism area development.

Batam City is a national strategic area that has played a significant role in Indonesia's economic growth since the 1970s. Through its Free Trade Zone (FTZ) policy, Batam has successfully attracted significant investment and developed into an export-oriented trading center. However, the implementation of regional autonomy has created institutional dualism between the Batam City Government and the Batam Business Entity (BP Batam), resulting in overlapping authority, regulatory uncertainty, and a decline in regional economic competitiveness. This study aims to analyze regional development policy strategies that align with the vision of the Batam City Long-Term Regional Development Plan (RPJPD) 2025–2045. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through document studies, secondary data, and interviews with key stakeholders. The results indicate that institutional restructuring is an urgent need to eliminate overlapping authority between the central and regional governments. In addition, harmonization of central and regional regulations, strengthening infrastructure, and improving the quality of human resources are strategic steps in Batam's transition from an FTZ to a Special Economic Zone (KEK). To achieve Batam's successful development in the future, inclusive multi-stakeholder collaboration and governance that adapts to global dynamics are needed. A policy strategy based on synergy, regulatory efficiency, and resource readiness is believed to be able to support the achievement of sustainable economic transformation in accordance with the region's long-term vision.

The study of eschatology and logic in Islam represents a significant and intellectually rich area within the broader discourse of ʿAqidah (Islamic creed) and Islamic philosophy. Eschatology, derived from the Greek word eschatos meaning "last," concerns matters of the afterlife, including death, the apocalypse (al-Sāʿah), resurrection (al-Baʿth), judgment (al-Ḥisāb), heaven (Jannah), and hell (Jahannam). These concepts are elaborated extensively in both the Qur'an and the prophetic traditions (ḥadīth). Meanwhile, logic in Islam is not merely a philosophical exercise but serves as an epistemological framework for interpreting divine revelation and deducing legal and theological principles. Islamic logic (al-manṭiq) is rooted in both Greek logical tradition—particularly Aristotelian logic—as well as unique Islamic methodologies that integrate rationality with scriptural fidelity. This research aims to analyze selected verses and prophetic traditions related to eschatology and logic, with the objective of understanding not only their linguistic and theological meanings but also their practical implications for human belief systems and ethical behavior. The study employs an interpretive and analytical method (manhaj taḥlīlī wa tafsīrī), focusing on exegesis (tafsīr) of Qur’anic verses QS. Al-A'raf: 187–188 and QS. Al-An'am: 30, as well as relevant ḥadīths concerning eschatological events and rational thought. These verses were selected due to their direct references to the knowledge of the Hour (ʿilm al-sāʿah) and the human tendency to demand evidence while rejecting spiritual truth. The findings indicate that Islamic eschatology is framed not around speculative prediction but rather spiritual and moral readiness. The Qur'an clearly asserts that knowledge of the exact time of the Day of Judgment belongs solely to Allah (QS. Al-A’raf: 187), highlighting the limitations of human knowledge and emphasizing submission to divine wisdom.

In the rapidly evolving digital era, data breaches have emerged as a serious threat, particularly in the e-commerce sector which handles vast amounts of customers’ personal data. The protection of personal data has therefore become a crucial issue, requiring effective regulation to ensure digital privacy. In response to this growing concern, Indonesia enacted the Personal Data Protection Law (UU PDP) in 2022 as a significant step toward strengthening digital privacy and security. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the 2022 PDP Law in addressing customer data breach incidents on e-commerce platforms in Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach and case study method, this research analyzes several high-profile data breach cases involving major e-commerce companies in the country. The findings indicate that, although the PDP Law has established a clear legal framework regarding the obligations of reporting and managing data breaches, its implementation still faces multiple challenges. Some companies have not fully complied with the legal timeframes for notifying users, and there is a general lack of transparency in how data breach incidents are managed. These shortcomings reveal a gap between the regulatory framework and practical enforcement in the field. Furthermore, the study highlights the limited public awareness and the insufficient preparedness of some companies in responding to data security incidents in accordance with the law. As a result, the rights of consumers to be informed and protected are not always upheld effectively. This research recommends stronger supervision by relevant authorities to ensure stricter enforcement of the PDP Law. It also underscores the need for ongoing education and intensive training for e-commerce companies to enhance their capacity to prevent, detect, and respond to data breaches in compliance with the legal standards. By reinforcing regulatory implementation and organizational readiness, Indonesia can better safeguard digital consumer rights in the growing e-commerce landscape.

This study aims to analyze interest rate risk management in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that use People's Business Credit (KUR) facilities, with a case study at the Kari Water Drinking Water Depot in Kulim District, Pekanbaru City. Fluctuations in interest rates are one of the financial risks that can affect the continuity of MSME businesses, especially in terms of the ability to pay credit obligations. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the Kari Water Depot faces financial risks due to interest rate fluctuations, operational risks related to water distribution and quality, and legal risks due to drinking water quality regulations. The application of risk management based on ISO 31000 has been proven to help in the process of systematic risk identification, analysis, and mitigation. The mitigation strategy through investment in Reverse Osmosis (RO) technology is considered effective because it can improve product quality and operational efficiency. However, the success of this strategy is greatly influenced by the readiness of human resources, access to financing, and mature risk planning. This study recommends the importance of risk management training for MSMEs and policy support in the form of access to affordable funding and environmentally friendly technology to improve the competitiveness and sustainability of MSMEs amidst economic dynamics.
