Public awareness of environmental issues is increasing, but there is still a gap between ecological understanding and green consumption behavior. This phenomenon is evident in the low interest of local consumers in Suputra Herbal Incense products in Badung Regency, despite the product's strong ecological and cultural value. This condition raises questions about the factors influencing local consumers' green purchasing intentions towards environmentally friendly products. This study uses a quantitative approach with a causal associative design to analyze the main predictors influencing green purchasing intentions. A total of 100 respondents were selected through a purposive sampling technique, namely potential consumers who are related to herbal incense products. The research instrument has been tested for validity and reliability, thus it is suitable for use in data collection. Data analysis was conducted with the help of multiple linear regression using SPSS software to test the research hypotheses. The results show that green brand image, green marketing, and price perception have a positive and significant influence on local consumers' green purchasing intentions. These findings confirm that an environmentally friendly brand image can strengthen consumer trust and interest. In addition, a consistent and authentic green marketing strategy plays a significant role in increasing product appeal. The perception of fair pricing is also a key consideration, as consumers tend to be more accepting of prices when they align with the product's ecological benefits and cultural values. In conclusion, this research provides practical contributions for MSMEs, particularly in designing effective and sustainable green marketing strategies. Efforts to strengthen green brand image, consistently implement environmentally friendly promotions, and foster a perception of fair pricing will encourage increased purchasing intentions among local consumers. Thus, eco-friendly products like Suputra Herbal Incense have the potential to compete more strongly in the increasingly competitive domestic market. Interpersonal communication is a crucial aspect of human life, both within the family and in the community, as it serves as a means of providing motivation, support, and positive guidance. One social issue of considerable concern is alcohol dependence among adolescents, which can negatively impact their physical, mental, and social development. This study was conducted to determine how interpersonal communication between parents and adolescents in Lalang Village, Rana Mese District, East Manggarai Regency, plays a role in reducing alcohol dependence. Furthermore, this study also examined the strategies parents use to overcome barriers to interpersonal communication in an effort to prevent alcohol consumption among adolescents. This study used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation of parents and adolescents in Lalang Village. Analysis was conducted by examining the communication patterns that occur, the obstacles encountered, and their impact on adolescent behavior related to alcohol consumption. The results of the study indicate that interpersonal communication between parents and adolescents in reducing alcohol dependence is still not optimal. This is evident in the lack of time spent together between parents and adolescents, the low response of adolescents to messages delivered face-to-face, and the lack of understanding on the negative impacts of alcohol on health on both parties. Cultural factors and limited knowledge also hinder the effectiveness of interpersonal communication. In conclusion, effective interpersonal communication is essential for educating and guiding adolescents to reduce alcohol consumption. Efforts should include improving parental communication skills, strengthening family interactions, and raising public awareness of the dangers of alcohol. Educators and community leaders also play a crucial role in supporting the education process and preventing alcohol dependence among adolescents.

The problem of plastic waste in Gandan Hamlet, Pogalan Village, is becoming an increasingly urgent environmental issue that requires sustainable management. Unmanaged waste can pollute the soil, air, and water, and threaten public health. In response to this situation, Tidar University Community Service (KKN) students implemented an innovative community-based waste management program. The main focus of this program is to utilize plastic waste into products with utility and sales value, namely plastic-filled pillows and Eco-Paving Blocks. This activity was carried out through a participatory approach by actively involving the community at every stage, from outreach and education to technical training on the collection, sorting, and processing of plastic waste. The education provided concerns the dangers of plastic waste to the environment and the importance of recycling as an alternative solution. Making pillows from plastic filling was chosen because the process is simple, inexpensive, and can be done by housewives. Meanwhile, Eco-Paving Blocks are the result of utilizing mixed plastic waste as an environmentally friendly and durable building material. This program has succeeded in reducing the volume of plastic waste in the surrounding environment, while raising public awareness of the importance of environmental conservation. Furthermore, this activity opens up new economic opportunities for the community by creating creative products from waste. Evaluation results show that the community-based waste management model is effective in fostering community independence in waste processing, creating a cleaner environment, and encouraging a culture of sustainable living at the village level. The success of this program is expected to serve as an example for replication in other areas with similar challenges. Continued support from the village government and cross-sector collaboration are key to this initiative's continued growth and long-term impact.

Stunting remains a significant health problem in rural areas, particularly due to the lack of father involvement in child care. The “Bapakku Hebat” program initiated by the Omben Health Center emerged as a breakthrough to strengthen the role of fathers in stunting prevention efforts through family health posts. This study adopted a qualitative descriptive approach to investigate the implementation, effects, and barriers of the program. The research findings indicated an increase in father involvement in health post activities, nutrition counseling, and child health monitoring. The program successfully reduced the prevalence of stunting risk by 10% in a year by increasing health post coverage and changing family behavior in providing nutrition. Key driving factors included inter-sectoral collaboration with village governments, health cadres, and farming communities that strengthened social networks and local resources. However, challenges remain, such as budget constraints, a lack of male cadres, and the influence of cultural norms that consider childcare as a woman’s responsibility. The “Bapakku Hebat” program shows that active father involvement can increase family awareness of the importance of fulfilling children’s nutrition. These findings emphasize the importance of gender-sensitive family health policies and cross-sectoral support to ensure the sustainability of the program. This research is expected to be a reference for other regions in implementing similar innovations to reduce the prevalence of stunting and improve the quality of child care. Furthermore, the success of the "My Great Father" program also demonstrates the importance of a community-based approach in public health interventions. The direct involvement of community leaders, religious leaders, and farmer groups in the program's outreach and implementation has proven effective in building a sense of ownership and increasing active community participation, particularly among fathers.

Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease that remains a public health problem in Indonesia, including in Banjarmasin City. Low public knowledge and awareness of clean and healthy living behaviors (PHBS) are also factors in the high rate of TB transmission. Health education is a strategic step in addressing this problem. This study aims to determine the effect of health education using lecture methods and audio-visual media on increasing knowledge in TB prevention efforts in the Alalak Tengah Community Health Center working area. The research design used was a pre-experimental study with a one-group pre-test post-test design approach. The study sample consisted of 51 respondents selected by purposive sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire administered before and after the education, then analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed a significant increase in knowledge after the education intervention (p value <0.05). Before the education, most respondents were in the sufficient and poor knowledge categories, while after the education, most respondents moved to the good knowledge category. This indicates that the combination of lecture methods and audio-visual media can effectively increase public understanding. Delivering information through visualization has proven to be more engaging and easier to understand for a wide range of audiences. The conclusion of this study is that this outreach method is effective as a medium for educating the public about TB prevention. A similar approach can be implemented more widely in other regions to support the national TB control program. Consistent and sustainable education programs are essential to maintain high levels of public knowledge. The involvement of health workers, cadres, and community leaders is also a crucial factor in the success of outreach. This strategy is expected to be replicated in other regions with a high TB burden.

Waste management remains a significant challenge in Dusun Balinappang, Desa Bontoramba, Kecamatan Pallangga, Kabupaten Gowa, Makassar City. Low community awareness regarding waste sorting and proper management has led to a decline in environmental health quality. Improper waste management can result in various environmental problems, such as water, soil, and air pollution. To address this issue, a community service activity was conducted with the aim of improving public knowledge and awareness on proper waste management through the 3R approach (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). The method used for this activity involved education through the use of posters. The posters were designed to be visually engaging and simple, making them easy for the community to understand. This visual medium effectively conveyed information about the importance of waste sorting and applying the 3R principles. Additionally, pre-tests and post-tests were used as evaluations to measure the change in participants’ knowledge before and after receiving the education. The pre-test was conducted to assess participants' initial understanding, while the post-test helped determine the extent of their knowledge improvement regarding 3R concepts and waste management practices. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in the community’s understanding of 3R principles and proper waste management techniques. The community began to demonstrate positive behavior changes, such as sorting household waste more carefully and reusing materials that could be recycled. This shift contributed positively to raising environmental awareness and improving the health of the local community. With this simple yet effective education, it is hoped that the program can continue and be expanded to other areas. This initiative will contribute to creating a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable environment, which will have a long-term positive impact on the quality of life for the community.

Jati Larangan Park in Iroyudan Hamlet, Bantul Regency, is a community-based tourism area with historical, cultural, and natural potential. Despite its appeal as a religious and outdoor tourism destination, the park experienced a decline in activity following the COVID-19 pandemic. This study aims to analyze community perceptions of the development of Jati Larangan Park to support participatory and sustainable tourism development strategies. The research method used a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results indicate that the community has a positive perception of the park because it is considered capable of providing economic, social, and cultural benefits. Youth groups, MSMEs, and the general public recognize the importance of this tourism revival, although management is still hampered by human resources, weak institutional structures of the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis), and a lack of digital literacy for the promotion and marketing of local products. Community involvement is reflected in the spirit of mutual cooperation and the desire to revitalize the park through various tourism activities. However, a more systematic strategy is still needed in terms of institutional strengthening, youth empowerment, MSME capacity development, and digital promotion. With a Community-Based Tourism (CBT) approach, Jati Larangan Park has the potential to become a leading destination in Bantul with collaborative and sustainable management. In addition to social and economic aspects, the development of Jati Larangan Park must also consider environmental and spatial planning dimensions. Currently, parts of the park are poorly managed, with a lack of sanitation facilities, information boards, and accessible tourist routes for the elderly and people with disabilities. This presents a challenge in realizing an inclusive and comfortable destination.

Hypertension is a global health problem whose prevalence continues to increase every year. This condition is not only a major cause of cardiovascular disease but also contributes to high morbidity and mortality rates in various countries, including Indonesia. One risk factor mitigating this problem is low public awareness of the importance of routine blood pressure monitoring. Therefore, promotive and preventive efforts are needed through health education that is easy to understand and can be applied in everyday life. This community service activity aims to increase public knowledge, especially among the elderly, about hypertension and the application of simple non-pharmacological therapies. One method introduced is soaking feet in warm water with added salt. This method is considered safe, practical, and cost-effective, making it suitable for elderly people in rural communities. The activity was carried out in Mauleng Hamlet, Paccing Village, Awangpone District, Bone Regency, with 15 elderly participants. The activity method included a pre-test to determine the participants' initial level of knowledge, counseling on hypertension, direct compression using warm water and salt foot soaks, and a post-test to measure knowledge improvement. The results showed a significant increase in participants' level of knowledge. Prior to the outreach program, only 7% of respondents had sufficient knowledge about hypertension and non-pharmacological therapy. After the outreach and reinforcement program, this figure increased to 87%. These results indicate that health education combined with practical demonstrations is highly effective in increasing public knowledge. Therefore, it can be concluded that educational activities and warm salt foot soak therapy have proven effective in increasing public understanding of non-pharmacological hypertension management and have the potential for widespread implementation as a health promotion measure.

Service quality is a vital element that must be prioritized to achieve excellence in public service delivery. It serves as the cornerstone for any institution, directly influencing public satisfaction. Such satisfaction can only be realized when services are delivered effectively, efficiently, and in alignment with the community’s needs. This study aims to assess the quality of public services at the Plampang Village Office and identify factors that hinder its enhancement in 2022. Using a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, the research explores and analyzes various phenomena, events, social activities, attitudes, beliefs, perceptions, and community perspectives, both on an individual and collective level. The findings reveal that the assurance dimension of service quality received favorable feedback from service users. However, other dimensions still exhibit notable deficiencies, such as the public’s limited awareness of service standards, the small size of service spaces, and inadequate facilities, such as computers and laptops, which often experience technical issues, leading to delays in service completion.

Obesity, central obesity, and hypercholesterolemia are prevalent yet often unrecognized health conditions that significantly elevate the risk for various non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and cardiovascular disorders. These conditions, when left undiagnosed and untreated, contribute to the growing public health burden worldwide. This community service program was designed to raise awareness and provide early detection of these conditions through basic health screening measures, including body mass index (BMI), waist circumference, and blood cholesterol levels. The program was implemented in Tomang Subdistrict, West Jakarta, where 90 participants were involved. The findings from the screening revealed concerning results: 67% of the participants were classified as obese, and 58% had central obesity, both of which are major risk factors for NCDs. A deeper analysis of lifestyle factors highlighted that high-fat diets, sedentary behaviors, and night shift work were significant contributors to the high rates of obesity and metabolic abnormalities observed. The educational outreach component of the program, which included the provision of information about healthy diets, exercise, and the importance of regular health screenings, proved to be effective in raising awareness about these health issues. Moreover, the simple health screening process was well-received by the community and contributed to a greater understanding of individual health risks. This initiative is expected to serve as a sustainable model for promoting health and preventing metabolic diseases in the community. The findings underscore the importance of early detection and education as critical strategies in the fight against obesity and related NCDs, suggesting that such programs can play a key role in reducing the future burden of chronic diseases in underserved populations

The rapid growth of e-commerce in Indonesia has led to significant changes in the way food products are sold, particularly imported foods. While the convenience of online shopping offers great benefits to both consumers and businesses, it has also uncovered several regulatory challenges, especially concerning the labeling of imported food products. A critical issue is the non-compliance with the Indonesian language labeling requirements for these products, which puts consumers at a disadvantage. Such practices not only violate existing consumer protection laws but also pose risks to public health, as consumers may not fully understand the contents or risks associated with foreign food products due to language barriers. This study highlights the need for a more robust framework to enforce labeling laws, focusing on the responsibility of e-commerce platforms. Platforms play a crucial role in bridging the gap between sellers, manufacturers, and consumers. By implementing stricter oversight and monitoring mechanisms, e-commerce platforms could ensure that sellers comply with legal labeling requirements. Furthermore, platforms can act as intermediaries to facilitate consumer complaints and provide dispute resolution services in cases of non-compliance. In addition, the study emphasizes the importance of consumer education. Many consumers are unaware of their rights and the standards they should expect from food products sold online. Thus, there is a need for awareness campaigns and easy access to information on consumer rights, particularly in the context of e-commerce. Strengthening the enforcement of these regulations, providing training for business actors, and improving public awareness will help ensure that imported food products are sold in a transparent, legally compliant manner.

The rapid development of digital technology has had a significant impact on various aspects of human life, including the distribution and consumption of entertainment content. One form of entertainment that has undergone a major transformation is film, where the existence of digital platforms has made access to various film titles increasingly easy, fast, and practical. The presence of official, legal streaming services offers a comfortable viewing experience and supports the sustainability of the film industry. However, on the other hand, this phenomenon has also given rise to a new problem, namely the increasing practice of accessing films through illegal streaming sites that are easily found on the internet. The use of illegal streaming sites certainly has various consequences, both legal, ethical, and economic. From a legal perspective, such actions clearly violate copyright, which should be protected by law. From an economic perspective, this illegal practice is detrimental to many parties, from film producers and distributors to the state, which loses potential revenue. However, the reality on the ground shows that the majority of the public, especially students, still frequently use illegal sites due to considerations of free access, the availability of the latest films, and ease of use. Based on this phenomenon, this study focuses on evaluating the perceptions of students at the Indonesian Computer University (UNIKOM) regarding the legality of using illegal streaming sites. The research was conducted using a descriptive quantitative approach, with primary data obtained through questionnaires distributed to 30 students from various study programs. The results are expected to provide insight into students' level of legal awareness and the factors influencing their choices regarding accessing films through legal and illegal channels. These findings are also expected to provide input for stakeholders in formulating educational and outreach strategies regarding the importance of respecting copyright.
