"Isi Piringku" is a dietary guideline developed by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia as part of a balanced nutrition campaign. Understanding this concept is particularly important for elementary school-aged children, as this is a critical period for physical growth, mental development, and the formation of healthy lifestyle habits. A balanced nutritional intake plays a vital role in improving learning concentration, supporting physical activity, and preventing various diseases caused by nutritional deficiencies or excesses. However, the dietary behavior of elementary school students remains far from balanced nutrition principles, with an average achievement of only 53.9%. Based on this condition, this Community Service Program (PkM) aimed to improve the knowledge, skills, and behavior of Youth Red Cross (PMR) members at SDN Krapyak in consuming food according to balanced nutrition guidelines using the “Isi Piringku” media. The activities carried out included obtaining permission, conducting socialization, training on the use of the “Isi Piringku” media, and providing ongoing mentoring. Through this program, it was expected that PMR members could become change agents and role models for their peers in implementing healthy and balanced eating habits. The results of the activity showed that the mentoring was successfully conducted. There was a significant improvement in the knowledge and skills of PMR members, as reflected in the increase in the average score from 70.8 to 90.97 after the intervention. This indicates that the approach using the "Isi Piringku" media is effective in promoting balanced nutritional behavior among elementary school children.

School-aged children are those within the age range of 6-12 years. The primary developmental task for school-aged children is to develop a sense of independence. Independence is the ability or attitude acquired by an individual to perform tasks on their own without the help of others. To enhance their independence, children need stimulation from their environment, such as from their parents. However, in reality, many parents resort to violence under the guise of disciplining their children by administering punishment. This study aims to analyze the corelation between types of child abuse and their impact on the level of independence of fifth and sixth grade students at SDN Karang Bayat 01, Sumberbaru, Jember. This research was a correlational analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. The study population conssisted of 39 individuals selected used purposive sampling techniques. The research instrument utilized a questionnaire. Statistical tests were conducted on the obtained data. Bivariate analysis using Chi-Square tests and logistic regression was performed to identify dominant factors. The study results indicated that physical abuse had a p-value of 0.046, verbal abuse had a p-value of 0.012, and neglect had a p-value of 0.424. This suggests that there is a corelation between physical and verbal abuse and independence, whereas neglect does not show a corelation with independence. Among the types of child abuse, verbal abuse was found to be the dominant factor affecting independence, with an Odds Ratio (OR) of 16.667. Verbal abuse by parents impacts the child’s self-confidence, which is one of the indicators of independence. It is hoped that parents will be mindful of their words and expressions towards their children to avoid hindering their independence.

Trauma healing programs for child victims of violence are crucial because they can help them recover physically, emotionally, and psychologically. Children who experience sexual violence are at risk of experiencing long-term trauma that impacts their mental and social development. This study aims to determine the implementation of the Trauma Healing Program for child victims of sexual violence, which was implemented by the Pekanbaru City Department of Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, and Community Empowerment (DP3APM) in 2023. This study used a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews. Seven informants participated in this study: the Head of DP3APM, the Head of the UPT PPA, community members, and a psychiatrist. This study found that the trauma healing program encompasses three main stages. First, the security and stabilization stage (establishing safety), carried out by providing compassionate therapy and support to the victim's parents. Second, the remembering and grieving stage (remembering and grieving), carried out by gathering information from the victim and providing healing therapy to restore their mental state. Third, the connecting and integrating stage (reconnection), which helps victims accept their condition and return to normal life. For victims whose condition remains unstable, the healing program will continue. The main obstacle to implementing this program is budget constraints, particularly for logistical needs such as accommodation, food, and transportation. Despite this, the trauma healing program conducted by the Pekanbaru DP3APM has been well-implemented and has provided victims with a gradual and structured response and recovery effort. The main obstacle to implementing this program is budget constraints, particularly in providing facilities such as housing, daily meals, and transportation.

Toddlers are a vulnerable group prone to health problems and malnutrition due to their rapid growth and high nutritional needs. Nutritional status serves as an indicator of adequate dietary intake, commonly assessed through weight and height measurements. Malnutrition, particularly among children aged 2-5 years, often occurs as they transition to family diets while maintaining high physical activity levels. Appropriate complementary feeding starting at six months (MP-ASI) is essential to support optimal growth and development. The Complementary Feeding Program includes porridge for infants aged 6-11 months and biscuits for children aged 12-24 months, aiming to improve nutritional status, especially among low-income families. Supplementary feeding (PMT) is an intervention designed to enhance the nutritional status of malnourished children without replacing their main daily meals. This study aims to examine the effect of the supplementary feeding program on weight changes among malnourished infants aged 6-11 months at the Tiley Health Center. A pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design was used with total sampling of 20 mothers with malnourished infants. Data were collected using questionnaires and weight observation sheets and analyzed using a paired t-test. The results showed a significant effect (p < 0.05), indicating that the supplementary feeding program improves infants’ weight.

This study investigates the impact of toxic parenting on the mental health of late adolescents in Benda Baru, South Tangerang. The background of this research is rooted in the increasing number of adolescent mental health issues linked to unhealthy parenting practices, including excessive control, verbal abuse, physical violence, criticism, and neglect. The study aims to analyze the underlying causes of toxic parenting from the perspectives of adolescents, parents, and other family members, as well as to identify its psychological, social, and behavioral consequences. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving late adolescents aged 18–22, their parents, siblings, and key community informants. The findings indicate that toxic parenting often originates from intergenerational trauma, unresolved stress, and socio-cultural pressures, leading parents to adopt coercive and destructive parenting strategies. These practices contribute to significant mental health problems among adolescents, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, difficulties in social adaptation, and tendencies toward self-harm. The study underscores the importance of preventive efforts through parenting education, psychosocial support at the community level, and the development of youth-friendly mental health services. The implications suggest that multi-sector collaboration involving families, schools, community leaders, and local government is essential to create a supportive environment that can break the cycle of toxic parenting and promote adolescent well-being.

This study aims to determine the profile of cardiorespiratory endurance among male futsal athletes participating in Pra PON SULUT 2023, as well as to analyze the variability in their cardiovascular performance. The research employs a descriptive quantitative approach, involving 35 athletes selected through total sampling. Measurements were conducted using the bleep test to assess cardiorespiratory endurance. The results indicate that 75% of the athletes fall within the "good" to "very good" categories, while the remaining athletes are classified from "adequate" to "poor." These findings suggest that the majority of the athletes have achieved optimal levels of endurance; however, significant individual differences exist, likely influenced by initial physical condition and training intensity. The results of this study align with the theories of Depdiknas (2010) and Pekik (2004), which emphasize the importance of respiratory and circulatory efficiency in supporting athletic performance, and support Husein Argasmita’s (2007) view that the variability in cardiorespiratory endurance requires special attention in athlete development. This study is expected to serve as a basis for designing more focused and individualized training programs to enhance the performance of futsal athletes in future competitions.

The abuse of Narcotics, Psychotropics, and Addictive Substances among the younger generation is a serious issue that threatens the future of the nation. This abuse has significant negative impacts on the mental and physical development of the younger generation. Therefore, prevention efforts through education, routine counseling, and positive activities in the community are crucial. The rampant abuse of Narcotics, Psychotropics, and other Addictive Substances among students and college students has become a new problem in the education sector. According to a survey conducted by the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) and the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) in 2019, 2.3 million students or college students in Indonesia have consumed narcotics. The lack of knowledge and information among students about the effects of drug abuse is a major factor in the spread of this issue. The approach to implementing community service is carried out in several stages, including initial surveys, problem identification, needs analysis, target audience determination, and program implementation. Based on the community service activities carried out, the benefits are greatly felt. This is evident from the enthusiasm of the participants in engaging in the community service activities. The author would like to express their deepest gratitude to the Principal of SMAN 1 Kutacane, Southeast Aceh Regency, who has provided time and space and fully supported this community service activity so that it could be carried out successfully.

This article aims to explain the conditions of Gen Z in the blanket of rapid development of digitalization technology. This article uses a qualitative method with a literature study and a descriptive analytical approach. The results of the study indicate that the Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) phenomenon on social media reflects symptoms of deep anxiety experienced by modern society, especially Generation Z, due to the fear of being left behind by information or trends that are considered important. In a digital world full of endless information, individuals are encouraged to stay connected and consume content that is often irrelevant, creating the illusion of engagement and validation. This phenomenon creates a great irony, where social media, which should be a tool for communication and information, has instead become a space filled with social pressure, value gaps, and artificial scenarios. The impact of FOMO can be seen in psychological aspects, such as anxiety, depression, and low self-confidence; social, in the form of a decrease in the quality of direct relationships between individuals; and physical, such as lack of sleep and reduced physical activity. However, social media also offers positive opportunities, such as increased creativity, network expansion, and the opening of new opportunities, if used wisely. To overcome the negative impacts of FOMO, efforts are needed to limit the time spent using social media, change the mindset to be more reflective and productive, and engage in meaningful activities.
