Yemen's protracted crisis has severely disrupted the educational sector, rendering the implementation of national education policies inconsistent and largely ineffective. This article explores the major challenges faced in executing educational policies in post-crisis Yemen, focusing on the gap between well-formulated regulatory frameworks and the realities of field implementation. Drawing upon a qualitative literature review and document analysis, the study identifies several critical barriers, including political instability, inadequate infrastructure, funding shortages, and regional disparities. The analysis also highlights the resilience of local actors and communities who often act as de facto education providers in the absence of centralized governance. Findings suggest that the success of post-crisis education policy in Yemen depends not only on formal regulation but also on adaptive, community-driven implementation mechanisms. The study concludes with strategic recommendations to bridge the policy-practice gap through decentralized governance, international partnerships, and targeted investment in teacher development and school reconstruction. These insights contribute to a broader understanding of educational recovery in fragile and conflict-affected settings.

As a multicultural country, Indonesia grows and develops with various cultural structures, ethnicities, religions and races. The diversity that occurs for a long time makes it possible for marriages with different religions to occur. Interfaith marriage in the Catholic Church is not allowed, but there is a dispensation so there are people who do it. As happened at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Simo Church, Boyolali, from the data for 2018-2023, there were 41 marriages and 9 of them were married to different religions (Cult Disparity). This phenomenon occurs due to several things including a lack of appreciation of faith, not enough socializing in the Church, pregnancy outside of marriage, a high sense of tolerance, many public schools in the village, places of worship that are close enough to allow the existence of many followers of other religions. The purpose of this research is to find out the nature of marriage of interfaith marriage couples, the application of children's faith education and the development of parents' faith from interfaith marriages. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with interviews with informants. The results showed that the impact of interfaith marriage on the faith education of children under five is positive because since infancy they have been baptized in accordance with the nature of Catholic marriage. Based on the results of the study, each partner respects and supports the other's beliefs in the midst of differences. In educating children's faith in the golden age period, they can be baptized.

This Community Service Program (PKM) was motivated by the limited understanding and skills of farmer groups in managing administrative systems, which are essential prerequisites for developing agribusiness partnerships. Farmer groups under the supervision of the Agricultural Extension Center (BPP) of Dumai Timur District, Dumai City, have not yet implemented well-organized data recording and administrative management, resulting in low institutional readiness to establish agribusiness partnerships. This program aimed to apply administrative management practices to strengthen farmer group institutions and support the development of agribusiness partnerships. The methods used included extension activities through lectures, interactive discussions, and hands-on practice in preparing and managing farmer group administrative records. The results indicate an improvement in farmers’ understanding of the importance of administrative management in agribusiness partnerships, enhanced skills in organizing and maintaining administrative records, and the emergence of collective awareness of institutional governance. Furthermore, the program contributed to behavioral changes within farmer organizations, increased leadership roles among group administrators, and initiatives to develop more structured and sustainable agribusiness partnerships

Public transportation is a primary necessity for supporting daily activities in Denpasar City. One mode of transport that plays a strategic role is the Trans Sarbagita Bus. As a mass transportation service, this bus system is expected to provide effective, efficient, and affordable mobility. This study aims to analyze: (1) public perception of the effectiveness of the Trans Sarbagita Bus service; (2) the simultaneous effect of accessibility, punctuality, and ticket price on service effectiveness; (3) the partial effect of each of these variables; and (4) the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) of the Trans Sarbagita Bus system. A quantitative method with an associative approach was employed. Data were collected from 105 active respondents through observation, interviews, and a five-point Likert scale questionnaire, and analyzed using multiple linear regression via SPSS. The findings show that: (1) public perception is generally positive, especially in terms of comfort and safety, although accessibility and punctuality remain suboptimal; (2) accessibility, punctuality, and ticket price simultaneously have a significant effect on service effectiveness; (3) each of these variables also has a positive and significant partial effect; and (4) strengths lie in low fares and safety, while key weaknesses include limited access and delays. Opportunities stem from policy support and rising public awareness, whereas threats include the dominance of private vehicles and low intermodal integration. It is recommended that the government enhance public transport campaigns through media and community partnerships, as well as expand bus stop access and intermodal connectivity to improve service effectiveness.

The transformation of settlement patterns in Ciwandan District, Cilegon City, is a consequence of massive industrial expansion over the past two decades. This change has resulted in the conversion of coastal agricultural land into high-density urban-industrial areas with heterogeneous settlement characteristics. This study aims to describe population dynamics, spatial structure changes, and their impact on the quality of life of the community. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with a literature review method. The findings indicate that the increase in population, particularly the working-age population, is accompanied by the growth of informal housing and pressure on basic infrastructure such as sanitation, clean water, and green open spaces. The imbalance between industrial growth and the provision of public services has created various social and ecological challenges. Therefore, there is a need for the integration of spatial planning policies, adaptive infrastructure development, and partnerships between the government, the community, and the industrial sector to create livable and sustainable residential areas.

Kebun Raya Mangrove (KRM) Surabaya is the first thematic botanical garden in Indonesia that focuses specifically on the mangrove ecosystem. It serves multiple functions, including conservation, education, research, and recreation. With its ecological uniqueness, KRM has strong potential to develop into a prominent ecotourism destination. However, post-pandemic conditions have seen a significant decline in visitor numbers, indicating the urgent need for more effective and targeted marketing strategies. This study aims to identify and evaluate marketing strategies that can enhance tourist interest and increase visitation to KRM Surabaya. The research adopts a descriptive method with a qualitative approach by collecting both primary data (through observations and interviews) and secondary data, which are then analyzed thematically. The findings indicate that KRM is currently facing several critical challenges, including limited accessibility, inadequate digital promotion, and environmental maintenance issues. Existing marketing efforts—such as affordable ticket pricing, minimal promotion via the official social media accounts of the Food Security and Agriculture Service, and limited collaboration with local SMEs—have not successfully expanded KRM’s market reach or visibility. To address these gaps, the study recommends a comprehensive marketing strategy that includes the optimization of digital marketing through official KRM-managed social media channels, strategic partnerships with ecotourism influencers, the organization of thematic events (e.g., mangrove festivals), and the innovation of mangrove-based products that can boost local identity and visitor engagement. By implementing these strategies, KRM is expected to strengthen its destination branding, attract a broader audience, and establish itself as a leading model for sustainable tourism in Surabaya and beyond.

The development of the digital economy has led to a significant increase in the number of freelance workers in Indonesia. Despite their growing contribution to the economy, their legal status within the national employment system remains normatively ambiguous. This research aims to analyze the normative ambiguity of the status of freelance workers in Indonesian legislation and its juridical implications for their legal protection. The research method used is normative juridical with a statute approach and a conceptual approach. The results indicate that Law No. 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower in conjunction with Law No. 6 of 2023 does not explicitly define or regulate the category of freelance workers. Consequently, their legal relationship is often positioned in a grey area between a "work relationship" of a subordinative nature and a "partnership relationship" of a coordinative nature based on the Indonesian Civil Code. The implications of this ambiguity are significant, encompassing the absence of normative rights such as minimum wage, social security, severance pay, and uncertainty in dispute resolution mechanisms. This study concludes that normative ambiguity creates legal vulnerability for freelancers and recommends regulatory reform to provide legal certainty and adaptive protection for non-standard work models.

Women entrepreneurship in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) plays a vital role in the local economy. However, women entrepreneurs often face complex emotional and psychological challenges due to their dual roles as housewives and entrepreneurs. Market uncertainty, social pressure, and lack of support from their environment further burden their workload. This study aims to explore the subjective experiences of women micro MSMEs, particularly in dealing with the psychological pressures of carrying out these roles. The research method used is a qualitative phenomenological approach with seven informants from the culinary, handicraft, and online trading sectors. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and non-participant observation, then analyzed using a thematic approach based on the Miles & Huberman model. The results of the study revealed four main themes: (1) the pressure of dual roles that often trigger stress and emotional exhaustion (burnout), (2) chronic anxiety related to fear of business failure and income instability, (3) spirituality and religious activities as meaning-based coping mechanisms, and (4) the importance of social support from partners, family, and community as a balance of emotional conditions. These findings confirm that the success and sustainability of women's businesses depend not only on economic capital or technical skills, but are also significantly influenced by mental health and the strength of social networks. Therefore, empowerment programs for women's MSMEs need to be designed holistically, encompassing psychosocial aspects, coping strategy training, and strengthening supportive and inclusive social networks.

This research focuses on the phenomenon that occurs at Cipadas Coffee and Chill, a business in Sukajadi District, Pekanbaru City, which has been operating for about three years but has not prepared financial reports based on Micro, Small and Medium Entity Financial Accounting Standards (SAK EMKM). This research aims to identify and analyze the obstacles faced by partnership owners in preparing financial statements based on SAK EMKM. In this study, researchers used a qualitative approach with the case study method. The data used is primary data obtained from direct interviews with business owners. The results showed that Cipadas Coffee and Chill had not implemented SAK EMKM in compiling its financial reports due to several reasons, namely the owner's lack of knowledge about SAK EMKM and the procedures for preparing appropriate financial reports, lack of owner participation in socialization activities about SAK EMKM and owner orientation which was more inclined to the aspect of operating profit. Thus, the results of this study indicate the need for further education and socialization efforts to partnership owners regarding the importance of applying SAK EMKM in preparing financial reports. With adequate knowledge and understanding, it is hoped that Cipadas Coffee and Chill will be able to prepare financial reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards, thereby increasing transparency and financial accountability.

The need for development financing in the regions is increasing, while dependence on the APBN/APBD funds cannot meet all those needs. Therefore, the regional government is starting to explore alternative financing cooperation, including with non-government entities (private and international financial institutions). This article aims to examine the role of national civil law as the legal basis for regulating the relationship between the parties in such cooperation schemes. This research uses a normative juridical method with an approach based on legislation and concepts. It is found that national civil law, particularly agreements in the Civil Code and modern contract law, plays a vital role in determining the rights and obligations of the parties, ensuring legal certainty, and preventing disputes in the implementation of non-APBN/APBD funding cooperation. In addition, the flexibility of civil law allows for adaptation to the needs of the region and funding partners. Strengthening the legal capacity of local governments and harmonizing with sectoral regulations are necessary.

The hospital has a health promotion function for the community. During the pandemic, the health sector underwent many changes, one of which was the use of media. Health promotion is carried out through the activities of providing information, influencing, and helping the community improve their health status. At this time, digital media was more dominantly used in health promotion activities. Canva is an application for producing digital content that is commonly used today. Training on making health promotion media with the Canva application is the goal of implementing this activity, so that later partner health workers can have the knowledge and skills to produce health promotion content digitally. This activity is a community service program carried out at PKU Muhammadiyah Kartusara Hospital in July 2023. Based on the results of this training activity, it can be concluded that the use of digital content in health promotion activities has not been implemented. It is necessary to strengthen the capacity of health workers, especially in training for creating digital content for health promotion.

This community service program focuses on transforming financial management at Pharmacare Pharmacy Ciputat through the integration of digital accounting and strengthening human resource (HR) management. The background to this activity stems from the problem of partners who still rely on manual recording for financial transactions, inventory management, and report preparation. This condition results in inefficiency, late reporting, potential recording errors, and difficulties in strategic decision-making. In addition, limited HR competency in the use of digital accounting technology and the absence of financial standard operating procedures (SOPs) are major obstacles to improving organizational performance. The main objective of this activity is to implement an integrated digital accounting system capable of producing real-time financial reports, increasing inventory management efficiency, and building transparent financial governance. Simultaneously, employee competency is improved through intensive training and mentoring in the use of accounting software and the preparation of financial SOPs. The involvement of students and faculty in this activity aligns with the spirit of Independent Learning and Independent Campus (MBKM) and supports the achievement of the university's Key Performance Indicators (IKU), particularly in providing off-campus experiences and utilizing work results for the community. Through this program, it is hoped that Pharmacare Ciputat Pharmacy can improve operational efficiency, strengthen business sustainability, and provide more optimal healthcare services. More broadly, this activity contributes to community economic empowerment by strengthening the capacity of small businesses in the healthcare sector.

Public transportation, with Transjakarta as its main pillar, requires a deep understanding of customer behavior to improve service quality and maintain loyalty. This study aims to segment Transjakarta customers using data mining techniques, specifically the K-Means Clustering algorithm, based on the RFM (Recency, Frequency, Monetary/Value) behavioral model. 37,900 rows of raw transaction data were processed into a clean database, resulting in 1,917 unique customers for analysis. The RFM metrics were then normalized using Min-Max Scaler. The optimal number of clusters was evaluated using the Elbow Curve and Silhouette Score Methods, which led to the determination of k = 4 clusters. The segmentation results identified four customer groups requiring specific strategies: Cluster 3 (Champions) with high R, F, and V (requiring rewards and retention); Cluster 0 (Active, Low Value) with high R and F but low V (requiring upsells and cross-sells); Cluster 1 (Potential/At-Risk); and Cluster 2 (Dormant/Lost). Preliminary analysis (EDA) showed that nearly half of customers (49.3%) used Bank DKI cards, dominated by the productive age group (25–45 years old), with the Rusun Kapuk Muara–Penjaringan route being the busiest. The main managerial recommendation is to strengthen the partnership with Bank DKI and optimize services in this busy corridor.
