Most students in junior high school, especially seventh grade, had difficulty learning vocabulary. Even though vocabulary was very important for language learning. Duolingo could help with this problem because Duolingo could make students more interested and less bored when studying. The purpose of this research was to find out whether there was an effect of the Duolingo Application in increasing the vocabulary mastery of 7th grade students at SMPN 32 Bandar Lampung in the 2023/2024 academic year. This research methodology used in this research was quasi-experimental design. The population of this research was all 7th grade students of SMP Negeri 32 Bandar Lampung for the 2023/2024 academic year with a total of 180 students. This research sample consisted of two classes, namely class 7B with a total of 34 students as the experimental class, and class 7C with a total of 33 students as the control class. This meant that the total number of samples for this research was 67. The experimental class used Duolingo Application, while the control class used the “When English Rings a Bell” textbook and dictionaries. The sample for this research was determined using a cluster random sampling technique. The treatment was carried out in first meeting. In collecting data, this research used a test instrument in the form of 40 multiple choice questions. Before giving treatment, a pretest was carried out. Then, after the treatment has been carried out, a post test was given. The results showed that there is a significant difference in student scores before and after treatment. This research used hypothesis testing, especially the T-test, to find out whether the Duolingo Application had a significant effect on students' vocabulary scores. And the results show that Sig. (ρvalue) = 0.000 < α = 0.05. So Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. It can be concluded that there is a significant effect of using the Duolingo Application on increasing the vocabulary mastery of 7th grade students at SMP Negeri 32 Bandar Lampung in the 2023/2024 academic year.

This article discusses the implementation of an Educational Management Information System (EMIS) in improving the quality of education at SPM Muadalah Ulya Darussalam - Blokagung, Banyuwangi. The Educational Management Information System, known in English as the Management Information System (MIS), is a control over business that includes the empowerment of people, files, technology, and procedures by management accounting to solve business problems. In the field of education, the Educational Management Information System (EMIS) is very necessary as Indonesia has entered the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, thus requiring the management of school information related to payments, activity status, attendance, and new student admissions. There are several supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of EMIS at SPM Ulya, including the availability of information system facilities and challenges in human resources as well as technical errors.

The research that has been conducted is entitled “The Effect of Falou Application in Improving Students’ Speaking Skill”, with the background being that the school want to implement English as the language in the school environment, but students’ speaking skill are still low. This research used quantitative methods with pre-test, treatment, and post-test design approaches in the experimental class and control class. The population in this study were students of class X Madrasah Aliyah Al – Washliyah Tebing Tinggi. This study used sample of two classes, namely experimental class as many as 30 students from X IPA-1 and control class as many as 30 students from X IPS-2. This study used a lottery method with random sampling style to select the sample. The validity processing tool used IBM Statistics Version 29. The result of this study revealed that there was a significant of using Falou Application in improving students’ speaking skill. This can be seen from the increase in the result of test, namely a Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.01 < 0.05 or t count (19.778) higher than t table (0.361). Based on the findings above, it can be concluded that the use of “Falou Application” has a significant effect on students’ speaking skill of Students in Madrasah Aliyah Al – Washliyah Tebing Tinggi.

This article discusses the English language learning development program at Madrasah Jamiyatut Tholibin, Soket Dajah Village, Bangkalan, Madura. This program was motivated by the low English language skills of students in the area, which were caused by limited educational facilities, lack of teaching resources, and ineffective teaching methods. This program aims to improve students' English skills through a more interactive and contextual approach, which is relevant to their daily lives. In addition, this program also involves training for teachers to improve their competence in teaching English, including the use of media and technology as learning aids. The results of this program showed a significant increase in students' English skills, both in terms of comprehension and communication skills. In addition, this program also succeeded in increasing students' learning motivation and developing teachers' capacity in teaching English. Thus, this program is expected to be a model for the development of English language learning in other rural areas in Indonesia.

Learning and teaching activities occur almost every day in the classroom between teachers and students. In this context, the process is usually thought of as the teacher delivering material to students while the students listen to the teacher's explanation. Learning in the classroom can occur if an interaction or synergy is created from various factors that support the teaching and learning process such as the presence of teachers, students, curriculum, teaching methods or techniques, teaching media and others. In this case, a learning activity is carried out to achieve learning objectives. This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of using children's songs as a method of learning English in elementary schools. The research method used is qualitative research with a literature study approach. The research results show that the use of children's songs in English learning in elementary schools can increase students' motivation, strengthen their language skills, and facilitate enjoyable learning. Children's songs help students internalize English vocabulary, grammar and intonation more effectively. These findings provide important insights for the development of English language learning strategies that focus on students' active involvement. It is hoped that the results of this research can become a basis for developing a more innovative and student-oriented English language learning approach in elementary schools.    

This Community Service aims to introduce English to toddlers at Fina Sembiring Clinic, Medan Polonia District, through a play-based learning approach in 2024. The program utilizes interactive teaching methods that combine educational games, children's songs, and picture stories to create a fun and effective learning environment for the children. By using this strategy, it is expected that children can develop basic English skills, such as vocabulary, pronunciation, and basic comprehension through age-appropriate activities. Active parental participation is also a focus of this program, providing guidelines and brief training to help them continue practicing English at home. The effectiveness of the program is evaluated through direct observation, interviews with parents, and language development tests specifically designed for toddlers. The results of this activity show that the play-based learning approach can increase children's interest and basic English skills. Moreover, active parental involvement proves crucial in supporting the success of this program. In conclusion, this approach not only improves toddlers' English skills but also creates a positive bond between children and parents in the learning process.

Writing skill is a hard skill among others because it has to be a concern more about it, and we need to follow some rules that related to every single step, they are word choice, coherent, correlation, and grammar. The students should choose the proper word to express meaning so that the readers catch what information they wrote. The information of each paragraph, main idea, and the argumentation of the researcher should be coherent. Grammar also plays important role in writing. The use of correct grammar will not be confusing the readers. Moreover, the error of using grammar will make a serious misunderstanding toward the readers. The successful of learning writing is not merely depending on the students, but it needs a teacher contribution to reach the learning of English writing.

The study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of peer feedback in improving students’ writing abilities. Using a convergent mixed-method design, the research involved 31 students from class XI AKC 2. Instruments included pre-tests, post-tests for quantitative data, and interviews for qualitative data. Quantitative analysis was conducted using a t-test with SPSS 27, and qualitative data were analyzed thematically. Results showed significant improvement in students' writing skills after using peer feedback, as indicated by a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05. Interviews with five selected participants also revealed positive responses. Hence, the peer feedback method positively impacted the writing abilities of class XI AKC 2 students at SMKN 1 Rejotangan.

This qualitative study investigates the perceptions of Vietnamese tertiary English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teachers regarding the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on student creativity in language learning. Amidst the rapid integration of AI in educational contexts, this research focuses on a relatively unexplored area: the intersection of AI technology and creative language pedagogy in the Vietnamese educational setting. Nine EFL teachers from two institutions in Vietnam, representing novice, mid-career, and near-end career stages, participated in semi-structured interviews. The study employed the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Creativity in Language Learning Framework (CLLF) as its theoretical basis. Thematic analysis of the interview data revealed four key themes: the perceived impact of AI on creative language practice, challenges in integrating AI with creative pedagogy, varied perceptions of AI’s role in developing student autonomy, and the impact of AI on traditional teaching methods and teacher roles. The findings indicated a spectrum of perspectives, from viewing AI as a beneficial tool for creative engagement to concerns over its potential to limit creative thinking and traditional pedagogical approaches. The study highlights the complexity of integrating AI into language learning and its influence on both teaching practices and student creativity.

Findings reveal that DuoLingo positively impacts motivation through its interactive features and gamified learning approach, fostering a more engaging and enjoyable learning environment. Educational implications and recommendations for integrating such technology into language classrooms are discussed.

Analyzing errors is very important for ESP students because they can relate to their work, it also provides ESP students with corrections Errors in learning behavior. This research aimed to investigate the errors, the most prominent type, and the causes of errors in using English articles in academic writing. The Researcher examined the academic writing by the ESP students. The researchers use an analytical parameter developed based on Biber et al. (1999) to analyze article errors. The causes of errors were obtained through a questionnaire developed based on the categories proposed by Brown (2007). After analyzing the data, the Researcher found 30 errors in Addition, Omission, and substitution categories. The most prominent type of Error is omission error, with a frequency of 293 occurrences or 76%. The main type of omission error is an omission of the definite article "the" before nouns or noun phrases. In contrast, the major cause of errors is mother tongue influence, with an average mean of 4.17 in the questionnaire responses. This study's findings indicate the need for teaching strategies and materials to prevent common article usage errors.

This study aims to identify the application of bilingual learning in early childhood in the village of Kabuna Haliwen Atambua, East Nusa Tenggara. The design of this study is quantitative with a pre and post control approach. 12 early childhood children in Kabuna Haliwen Atambua Village, East Nusa Tenggara. The largest number of early childhood children is 6 years old, 5 people, 3 people, and 4 years old. gender is male, 7 people and female, 5 people. The Implementation of Bilingual Learning in Early Childhood has increased by 37% from an average of 60% to 97%. The implementation of bilingual learning in early childhood is very important to be implemented in everyday life. Implement the Implementation of Bilingual Learning through simulation activities. Background: Iterative Reconstruction (IR) method was first applied to CT in 1960 and successfully used for the first time in clinical research by reconstructing 128 x 128 images according to image metrics and using high-resolution images of 512 x 512 for special research activities such as image evaluation. artifacts and noise. In 2008, the development of IR can improve image quality and reduce the amount of radiation in clinical CT diagnosis. Iterative reconstruction promises to improve image quality while reducing radiation dose. This has been demonstrated in CT of the thorax, coronary arteries, abdomen, spine and neck, paranasal sinuses, and head. Sinogram-Afirmed Iterative Reconstruction (SAFIRE) is one of the iterative algorithm reconstruction methods that uses noise modeling techniques, Sinogram-Afirmed Iterative Reconstruction (SAFIRE), promises to improve Cranial CT (CCT). In this new technique, raw data-based iteration for artifact reduction is combined with image-based iteration using smooth regularization that estimates the variance of image noise in various directions at each image pixel and adjusts it with a spatial variance regularization function simultaneously. Methods: This study is a literature review, where literature exploration is carried out on various databases with keywords such as, Reference sources used in compiling this article include google scollar, as well as articles in English and Indonesian scientific journals. Results: Itarative Reconstruction (IR) Head CT Scan, SAFIRE includes reducing or adding noise to the image results, artifacts, acquisition time, increasing SNR and CNR and reducing dose in the examination. Conclusion: Analysis of Safire results in Head CT-Scan Imaging has an Itarative Reconstruction (SAFIRE) procedure, the role of safire in head CT scans is to optimize noise in the Reconstructed image and can reduce artifacts in the image and increase SNR, CNR in the Reconstructed results so that it can provide better information.    

Background: Stress is a mental feeling disorder that often occurs in society. Starting from unhandled stress can turn into more serious. Stress can occur at all ages, especially in the elderly, the elderly are a group that is vulnerable to physical and psychosocial changes. Objective: For this reason, this community service activity aims to socialize about handling in reducing stress/stress by using United Kingdom music therapy. Method: This community service activity uses the lecture and question and answer method. The lecture method was carried out by delivering material on stress and music therapy in United Kingdom. Meanwhile, the question and answer method is carried out by asking participants about the material that has been presented. Results: The results of this community service activity were obtained that participants were able to understand and apply the material that had been delivered. Conclusion: Based on the community service activities that have been carried out, many of the participants enthusiastically received the entire series of events ranging from material presentations to question and answer interactions.

Reading is an important skill for students learning English, whether as a second language or a foreign language. Reading still plays a big role and is an essential tool for conveying meaning and information through text. For foreign language learners, reading in English is not an easy task because reading in English is complex and it is difficult to understand the meaning of sentences. Understanding is necessary to understand the meaning and obtain the information conveyed by the author. This happen because the language system of English is different from the students' native language. Hasibuan et al (2021) stated that Reading is an active process, it involves interpreting passages, not just receiving a message. It is reasonable for reading is one of the basic ways of acquiring information. Because when the students have a good competence in reading English, it will help them to obtain and enrich their knowledge.
