Research on the relationship between physical activity and morbidity levels of inmates, particularly in women's prisons, is still very limited. This study aims to provide empirical data that can be used as a basis for developing better physical training programs in women's prisons, while also supporting improvements in the quality of life of inmates and their readiness to return to society. This study used a quantitative design with a cross-sectional study approach. Activities carried out included data collection and measurement of the independent and dependent variables. This study analyzed variables related to the relationship between physical activity and morbidity levels among inmates at the Class II Pondok Bambu Women's Prison, East Jakarta. The results of the study showed (1) variations in the distribution of physical activity levels were relatively balanced between the low (34.6%), medium (33.3%), and high (32.1%) categories. (2) Morbidity rates in the sample indicated a significant burden of disease, the proportion of prisoners with low levels of morbidity was 39.7%, medium 24.4%, and high 35.9%. (3) Statistical analysis showed a significant relationship between physical activity levels and levels of morbidity in prisoners, the bivariate test (Chi-Square) produced p < 0.001, so the hypothesis that there is a relationship between physical activity and morbidity is accepted. (4) In an Islamic perspective, physical activity is believed to strengthen the body, prevent disease, and maintain physical and spiritual balance.

The national priority program of 12 years of compulsory education is a strategic effort by the government to improve the quality and equity of education, particularly at the secondary education level. This program is supported by the School Operational Assistance (BOS) and the Indonesia Smart Program (PIP). The PIP funds are used to meet the educational needs of students, such as purchasing books, stationery, uniforms, and transportation costs. The goal of providing PIP is to reduce the financial burden of education, decrease school dropout rates, and increase access to quality education. This study examines the effectiveness of PIP in promoting educational equity in Indonesia and evaluates the alignment of government policies related to beneficiaries, implementation, and monitoring of PIP. The method used is a literature review for public policy evaluation in the field of education. The findings show that PIP has successfully increased educational participation, as reflected in the improvement of the School Participation Rate (APS), Gross Participation Rate (APK), and Net Participation Rate (APM). PIP also expands educational access for children from low-income families. However, its implementation faces challenges such as bureaucratic obstacles, misidentification of recipients, low parental administrative literacy, and delays in the distribution of assistance in 3T regions (frontline, outermost, and underdeveloped).

This sociolinguistic study examines patterns of regional language interference in formal Indonesian usage across bilingual areas of Indonesia. Through a mixed-methods approach, this research analyzes oral and written data from 240 participants across three strategic bilingual regions: Javanese-Indonesian, Sundanese-Indonesian, and Batak-Indonesian. Data were collected through structured interviews, ethnographic observations, and corpus analysis of formal documents. Quantitative analysis employed linguistic corpus software to identify frequency patterns and interference distribution, while qualitative analysis applied ethnography of communication approaches to understand social contexts and functions of interference in communicative interactions. Findings reveal systematic interference typologies that vary according to linguistic domains. Phonological interference demonstrates the highest resistance to formal register constraints (78% consistency), with Batak-Indonesian speakers showing the highest interference rates (85%), followed by Javanese-Indonesian (74%), and Sundanese-Indonesian (71%). Lexical interference occurs in 65% of samples with significant variation based on communication domains, where Sundanese-Indonesian shows the highest rates (72%). Morphological interference is found in 52% of cases, particularly in affixation and reduplication systems. Syntactic interference shows the highest sensitivity to situational formality, decreasing from 45% in semi-formal communication to 28% in strict formal contexts. Research implications indicate the need for reorienting language policy from corrective approaches toward recognizing interference productivity. Language policies should develop flexible standards that accommodate regional variations and promote positive attitudes toward multilingualism. In educational contexts, integration of contrastive approaches in Indonesian language learning is required, along with development of instructional materials sensitive to students' linguistic backgrounds, and teacher training on managing productive versus corrective interference. This research contributes to Indonesian sociolinguistics through providing comprehensive empirical databases, developing innovative theoretical frameworks, and replicable methodologies for language contact analysis. Findings confirm that regional language interference in formal Indonesian constitutes a productive phenomenon reflecting Indonesia's multilingual vitality. Approaches that recognize productive aspects of interference while optimizing formal communication effectiveness become key to developing language strategies responsive to contemporary multilingual Indonesian realities.

The childfree phenomenon, the decision of married couples not to have children, is gaining increasing attention among young people, including within the Catholic Church. This choice arises in response to various modern factors, such as economic considerations, careers, personal freedom, and changing views on the meaning of family. This study aims to explore the views of young Catholics in the Semarang Vicarage on the childfree phenomenon and analyze them in light of the Catholic Church's teachings on marriage, which place procreation and education as one of the essential purposes of marriage. The study used a mixed-methods approach through the distribution of quantitative surveys and in-depth qualitative interviews. The results indicate a tension between the modern values adopted by young people and the Catholic Church's teachings on openness to life. This phenomenon poses a serious pastoral challenge, particularly regarding the regeneration of the congregation and the sustainability of church life. Therefore, the Church is expected to formulate a more dialogical, contextual, and inclusive pastoral approach in accompanying young people to remain faithful to the Church's teachings without ignoring the social realities they face.

The use of non-Hajj visas during the Hajj pilgrimage has become a serious issue, impacting the legal aspects, security, and validity of the pilgrimage. This phenomenon has intensified due to the lengthy Hajj waiting list in Indonesia and the high public enthusiasm for performing the pilgrimage. The Saudi Arabian government has responded to this situation by tightening Hajj visa regulations, issuing a fatwa prohibiting Hajj without an official visa, and imposing strict sanctions in the form of fines, deportation, and a ban on entry to Saudi Arabia. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of non-Hajj visa regulations implemented by the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in 2024 and their implications for the sustainability of Hajj and the protection of pilgrims. The research method used is a qualitative literature review approach, through the examination of journal articles, scientific books, legal documents, and official regulations related to Hajj implementation. The results show that the use of non-Hajj visas not only violates state law and sharia provisions but also has the potential to harm pilgrims and their countries of origin. Hajj visa regulations serve as a public policy instrument to maintain order, ensure fair quota distribution, and ensure the safety of pilgrims. This study recommends strengthening government oversight, increasing public literacy and education regarding Hajj visas, and improving the quality of human resources for pilgrims and Hajj guides to prevent future non-Hajj visa practices.

Investment is one of the key drivers of national economic growth as it contributes to capital formation, job creation, and the expansion of production capacity. However, investment realization is dynamic and inherently uncertain, influenced by both domestic and global economic conditions. This study aims to analyze the probability of investment growth in Indonesia based on investment realization data for the first quarter of 2025. The research employs a quantitative approach using descriptive statistical analysis and probability analysis. The data used are secondary data obtained from official publications of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), including national investment realization, Domestic Investment (PMDN), Foreign Direct Investment (FDI/PMA), and regional distribution of investment. The results indicate that investment realization in the first quarter of 2025 reached Rp465.2 trillion, equivalent to 24.4% of the national investment target for 2025. Investment probability is relatively balanced between PMDN and PMA, as well as between Java and non-Java regions, reflecting a stable investment climate and early progress in regional development equity. Overall, the probability of investment growth in Indonesia in 2025 remains favorable; however, achieving the annual investment target largely depends on the consistency of investment realization and the effectiveness of government policies in the subsequent quarters.

This research aims to compare modern international trade theories from conventional and Islamic economic perspectives. The technique used is a literature review through the analysis of sources from journals, books, and related research. The findings of this research indicate that international trade theory in the conventional perspective prioritizes efficiency, specialization, and increased profits through free market mechanisms, such as the theory of absolute advantage, comparative advantage, the H-O factor proportion, and the theory of large-scale economies. However, this approach often overlooks moral aspects, distributional justice, and the risk of exploitation. On the other hand, the Islamic perspective views trade as a muamalah activity based on justice, trustworthiness (amanah), the prohibition of riba (interest), gharar (uncertainty), and maisir (gambling), as well as the objectives of maqasid sharia (the objectives of Sharia). Both views recognize the importance of trade for economic growth but differ in their basic values and ethics. In today's era of globalization and digitalization, the importance of integrating Islamic values into international trade is increasingly understood. This aims to build a more just, sustainable, and inclusive trading system. This research emphasizes the need to apply Sharia principles in contemporary trade practices, including the application of Islamic financial instruments, the development of halal e-commerce platforms, and ethical oversight within global supply chains. In this way, it is hoped that international trade can provide broader benefits to all of humanity, in accordance with the principles of justice and welfare in Islam. The interconnectedness of both approaches in the digital context demonstrates the need to unite Islamic moral values with changes in today's global trade.

This study aims to determine the impact of Financial Technology (Fintech) and digital banking on the overall performance of conventional banking institutions in Indonesia. This research employs a qualitative approach using a comprehensive literature review as its primary method. Data analysis in this study was conducted through an extensive review of various sources, including books, peer-reviewed journal articles, research reports, official websites, newspapers, and magazines, to obtain a holistic understanding of the topic. The results of this study indicate that both Fintech and digital banking significantly affect the performance of conventional banks in Indonesia. Specifically, the effect of Fintech on conventional banking is reflected in a decrease in traditional banking profitability, because Fintech platforms provide alternative channels and competition in credit distribution and financial services. Meanwhile, the effect of digital banking on conventional banking includes improvements in operational efficiency, wider service accessibility for customers, and noticeable changes in customer behavior and expectations. These findings suggest that conventional banks must adapt strategically to remain competitive in the evolving financial ecosystem.

This study examines the effect of financial ratios on dividend policy with sales growth as a moderating variable in technology sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2019–2023. Dividend policy is an important corporate decision because it reflects management considerations in balancing company growth and shareholder returns. The independent variables used in this research are profitability, liquidity, and leverage, while dividend policy is the dependent variable and sales growth acts as a moderating variable. Profitability is measured using Return on Assets (ROA), liquidity is proxied by the Current Ratio (CR), leverage is measured using the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and dividend policy is measured by the Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR). This study employs a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from the annual financial statements of technology sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data are analyzed using multiple linear regression and moderated regression analysis. The results show that profitability does not have a significant effect on dividend policy, indicating that net profit generated during the year is not the main consideration in dividend distribution decisions within technology companies. Liquidity has a significant effect on dividend policy, suggesting that companies with stronger short-term financial conditions tend to have a greater ability to distribute dividends. Leverage also significantly affects dividend policy, implying that the level of corporate debt influences management decisions regarding dividend payments. Furthermore, sales growth does not moderate the relationship between profitability and dividend policy. However, sales growth is proven to moderate the effect of liquidity and leverage on dividend policy. These findings provide insights for management and investors in understanding dividend policy determinants in technology sector companies in Indonesia.

This study aims to analyze the influence of Innovative Work Behaviour, Upskilling, and Work Ethic on the Health Workers Performance with Intention to Stay as an intervening variable at RSUD Sumberrejo. The background of this research stems from challenges in improving service quality, high workload, and the need to strengthen competency and retention among health workers. The study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method through the distribution of questionnaires, with data analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) through SmartPLS version 4.0. The population consists of 216 employees, and the sampling technique used is non-probability sampling, resulting in 140 respondents. The findings reveal that Innovative Work Behaviour, Work Ethic, and Intention to Stay have a significant positive effect on the performance of health workers. In addition, Innovative Work Behaviour and Work Ethic significantly influence Intention to Stay. However, Upskilling shows a positive but non-significant effect on both Intention to Stay and Performance, indicating that skill enhancement requires managerial support and motivation to contribute effectively to employee performance. Intention to Stay serves as a mediating variable in several relationships among the constructs. Strengthening innovative behaviour, work ethic, and competency development, accompanied by appropriate retention strategies, is essential for improving the performance of health workers in regional hospitals. Future studies are recommended to develop the research model by incorporating additional variables that may have stronger effects on Intention to Stay and Performance. This research examines the implementation of the curator’s role in the bankruptcy process following the Postponement of Debt Payment Obligations (PKPU) based on Law Number 37 of 2004 concerning Bankruptcy and Postponement of Debt Payment Obligations. The main objective of this study is to analyze the role, authority, and challenges faced by curators in carrying out their duties in accordance with Indonesia’s positive legal framework. This research employs a normative juridical approach combined with an empirical juridical approach, incorporating a review of legal literature, court rulings, and statutory regulations, as well as interviews with curators and supervising judges in commercial courts. The findings reveal that curators play a central role as administrators and liquidators of bankrupt estates, with the authority to inventory, secure, manage, and liquidate the debtor’s assets to protect creditors’ interests. Pursuant to Law Number 37 of 2004, curators are also responsible for overseeing the bankruptcy process, preparing reports, and ensuring that the distribution of liquidation proceeds is conducted transparently and equitably. However, the implementation of this role often faces obstacles such as limited curator competence and resources, external interference, the complexity of bankruptcy laws, and inadequate judicial supervision. This study emphasizes the importance of legal reform, professional capacity building, and the adoption of digital technology to enhance the effectiveness of Indonesia’s bankruptcy system. A professional, accountable, and integrity-driven curator is essential to achieving the fundamental objectives of bankruptcy law—ensuring fair, efficient, and transparent debt settlement for all parties involved.

Distribution transformers play a critical role in delivering electrical energy from medium-voltage networks to low-voltage consumers. At ULP Medan Kota, several distribution transformers have been operating with loads exceeding 80% of their nominal capacity, posing risks of overloading, efficiency reduction, and equipment failure. This study aims to analyze the performance of distribution transformers based on actual load data and evaluate mitigation strategies through the implementation of additional parallel transformers (trafo sisip). The methodology includes data collection, load and current calculation, and simulation of load distribution after transformer insertion. The results show that the installation of trafo sisip reduces the load on the main transformer by approximately 50% and significantly lowers the current to safer levels. Moreover, placing the trafo sisip at an optimal position minimizes voltage drop to as low as 0.0745 Volts. Therefore, the addition of trafo sisip is proven to enhance the reliability, efficiency, and operational life of the power distribution system at ULP Medan Kota.
