Harvesting is a crucial stage in the palm oil production process that impacts the efficiency and productivity of the plantation. Choosing the right harvesting method can increase the effectiveness of time and labor. This study compares harvesting efficiency using manual and mechanized methods by measuring the duration of fruit harvest and transportation time to the collection point (TPH). This study was conducted in November–December 2024 at PT. Kencana Sawit Indonesia, located in Talao Sungai Kunyit, South Solok, West Sumatra. The equipment used included stationery, a stopwatch, and data related to working time and harvest results. Data were collected through direct observation. The analysis was carried out using the t-student statistical test to evaluate the difference in working time between the manual and mechanized methods. The results showed that harvesting with mechanization was more efficient than the manual method. The difference in harvest time reached 12 seconds per bunch with a P value of 0.0002, while the transportation time to the TPH was 23.48 minutes faster per ton with a P value <0.0001. Monthly production with mechanization averaged 48.69 tons, while the manual method only produced 38.13 tons per month. Thus, the use of mechanized harvesting methods has proven to be faster in the harvesting process, fruit transportation, and increasing monthly production results. The reliability of a data center is highly dependent on its air conditioning and cooling system. This research evaluates the existing cooling system of Universitas Krisnadwipayana’s data center using the PPDIOO Network Life-Cycle approach. The study finds that the current cooling system, which relies on AC Split, fails to meet TIA-942 standards, posing significant overheating risks and increasing downtime probability. Observational analysis shows that the cooling distribution is inefficient due to inadequate airflow and the absence of a structured cooling layout. To address these issues, this research proposes an optimized cooling system design that incorporates Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC), hot aisle-cold aisle arrangement, and raised floor implementation. The recommended improvements also include installing temperature and humidity sensors for real-time environmental monitoring and implementing N+1 redundancy for enhanced system reliability. These solutions are expected to improve cooling efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and mitigate downtime risks. Future research should focus on evaluating the practical impact of this design by conducting real-world trials and exploring liquid cooling technology as a potential alternative for further efficiency improvements.

Indonesia, which previously traded carbon through a voluntary market mechanism, has switched its carbon trading implementation through a carbon exchange (IDX Carbon) since September 26, 2023. This means that carbon trading in Indonesia is carried out through the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), and all carbon units are traded as securities or securities, whereas previously carbon transactions in Indonesia were voluntary. The implementation of carbon trading is a form of Indonesia's commitment to implementing the Paris Agreement and the Kyoto Protocol in reducing Greenhouse Gas emissions by 29% in 2030 with its own capabilities and up to 41% with international support. In the implementation of carbon trading in Indonesia, it is carried out through a mandatory market and the Indonesia Stock Exchange has been appointed as the institution organizing carbon trading, but the regulations that form the basis for the implementation of carbon trading do not clearly regulate how to determine carbon prices, the institution authorized to issue Technical Approval for Upper Emission Limits for Business Actors (PTBAE-PU) and Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction Certificates as units traded on the Carbon Exchange.

This study investigates the impact of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and Environmental Management Accounting (EMA) on firm value, with Green Innovation (GI) as a moderating variable. The research is based on secondary data from manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2021 to 2023, analyzed using path analysis with a moderated regression approach in SPSS. The findings reveal that ESG has a significant but negative impact on firm value, suggesting that ESG investments may be perceived as cost burdens in the short term. Meanwhile, EMA does not have a significant effect on firm value, indicating that its role in firm valuation remains unclear. The moderating role of GI does not significantly strengthen the relationship between ESG and firm value, while the interaction between EMA and GI negatively affects firm value, implying that green innovation strategies may introduce additional financial burdens. These findings highlight the complexity of sustainability investments and emphasize the need for a balanced approach to ESG and EMA implementation to optimize long-term firm value. The study contributes to legitimacy and stakeholder theories by demonstrating how sustainability strategies can influence financial outcomes. It provides practical insights for businesses to develop more effective ESG disclosure and EMA implementation strategies that align with investor expectations and long-term firm sustainability

This study aims to analyze the budgeting process, factors that form the basis of budgeting and obstacles to the budget implementation and realization process at the Secretariat of the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) of Jambi Province. The analytical tool used is qualitative descriptive research. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the budgeting process at the Secretariat of the Jambi Provincial DPRD follows the regional government budget cycle which consists of three main stages, namely budget preparation and determination, budget implementation, and APBD accountability reports. Budget preparation is carried out through coordination with the Executive Budget Team, then discussed with the DPRD before being ratified, while its implementation takes place after the APBD is approved, with accountability through semester and annual reports audited by BAWASDA and BPK to ensure transparency and accountability. Basic factors in budgeting include effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance with regulations. There are obstacles such as the incomplete discussion of the Draft Regional Regulation according to the Regional Legislation Program, changes in the number of Draft Regional Regulations that have an impact on activity planning, and low budget absorption due to external factors, such as changes in Central Government policies that complicate the preparation of the APBD. In addition, the lack of government assertiveness in enforcing policies and the suboptimal performance benchmarks complicate budget evaluation, so that improvements to the performance measurement system and better coordination between regional and central governments are needed.
