Underpricing continues to be a prominent issue within the Indonesian capital market, as many firms conducting an Initial Public Offering (IPO) tend to set initial share prices below their subsequent market value. This research investigates the moderating role of underwriter reputation in the relationship between profitability, financial leverage, and earnings per share (EPS) on IPO underpricing among firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Utilizing a purposive sampling technique, the study analyzes data from 176 companies. The data are processed using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with the help of STATA software. The findings reveal that profitability, measured by return on assets (ROA), significantly influences underpricing. In contrast, financial leverage (proxied by the debt-to-equity ratio) and EPS show no statistically significant effect. Moreover, underwriter reputation is shown to moderate the negative impact of both ROA and EPS on underpricing but does not moderate the relationship between the debt-to-equity ratio and underpricing. These results offer valuable insights into signaling theory and information asymmetry, highlighting the importance of firm fundamentals and intermediary reputation in IPO pricing strategies. The study contributes to a better understanding for investors, issuers, and regulators involved in the IPO decision-making process.

Technological developments over the past few decades have brought about major changes in the world of art. One of the most striking advances is the advent of artificial intelligence (AI), which is now not only a tool but also capable of creating works of art independently. This situation raises an important question in the world of contemporary art: how can human artists remain relevant and maintain the originality of their work amid the emergence of machine-generated artworks? This study aims to explore how technology, particularly AI, influences the creation, distribution, and reception of artworks. The primary focus of the research is on public perceptions of technology's role in art today. Through the distribution of questionnaires to the community around the researcher, the results obtained will show that the presence of technology has changed the way the relationship between artists, works, and audiences is formed. Digital technology opens up new possibilities in artistic creation, but simultaneously raises ethical and existential challenges for artists. Nevertheless, questions arise about how curation, authenticity, and aesthetic value are maintained in art. Therefore, this research emphasizes the importance of adaptation, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and support from inclusive policies and ecosystems to enable artists to continue to thrive in the dynamically evolving art landscape.

Corporate profits may be allocated either as dividends to shareholders or retained to support future investment activities. The proportion of dividends distributed serves as an indicator of management’s ability to balance reinvestment needs with shareholder returns. Decisions regarding dividend distribution are typically finalized during the General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS), following recommendations put forth by the board of directors. This research investigates how asset management influences dividend payments, assesses the impact of leverage on dividend distribution, and explores the moderating effect of company growth on the relationship between asset management and leverage with dividend payouts. The study focuses on companies listed in the High Dividend 20 Index (IDXHIDIV20) from 2019 to 2023. Using purposive sampling, 29 companies were selected, yielding 145 observations that consistently issued dividends throughout the study period. The analysis was conducted using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). Findings indicate that asset management positively affects dividend payments, whereas leverage does not exhibit a significant influence. Moreover, company growth is found to weaken the positive association between asset management and dividends, while it does not moderate the relationship between leverage and dividend payouts. These findings support both signaling theory and contingency theory, emphasizing that efficient asset utilization enhances corporate profitability, which in turn can lead to higher dividend distributions.

This research explores Ōta Shōgo’s The Water Station using a biographical lens, concentrating on three key aspects of absurdist theater: the Anti-Hero, Anti-Dialogue, and Anti-Climax. Breaking away from conventional storytelling methods, the play introduces a cast of anonymous characters who move gradually and silently across the stage, briefly stopping at a leaking water pipe. These characters represent the Anti-Hero—individuals lacking a distinct purpose, choice, or identity. The performance's lack of spoken words introduce a powerful Anti-Dialogue component, substituting conversation with silence and physical gestures, which symbolically mirrors the playwright’s experiences of trauma and disillusionment following the war. Moreover, the story does not follow a typical climax or conclusion, utilizing Anti-Climax to highlight the meaningless repetition inherent in human life. Through an examination of Ōta’s personal history—especially his experiences of displacement during World War II and his interest in the concepts of time, slowness, and stillness—this paper illustrates how these influences shaped the play's form and tone. The study emphasizes that non-Western absurdist art can arise from deeply personal and historical backgrounds. Ultimately, The Water Station creates a reflective theatrical experience where silence communicates more than spoken words, encouraging viewers to engage with the themes of emptiness, ambiguity, and the quiet beauty of existence.

This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality, destination attraction, and supporting facilities on visitor loyalty in the context of halal tourism at Maimun Palace, Medan City. Employing a quantitative approach with an associative research design, the study involved 254 respondents selected using the Slovin formula from a total population of 689 visitors recorded in April 2025. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire using a Likert scale and analyzed using SPSS software. The findings reveal that each independent variable—service, attraction, and facilities—has a positive and significant effect on visitor loyalty. Furthermore, the simultaneous analysis confirms that the combination of these three factors significantly influences loyalty among visitors to the halal tourism destination. These results align with the Customer Satisfaction Theory, which posits that positive experiences related to service delivery, destination appeal, and the availability of appropriate facilities contribute to higher levels of satisfaction, ultimately fostering loyalty. The implications of this study suggest that halal tourism destination managers should prioritize enhancing service quality, preserving the cultural and historical appeal of attractions, and ensuring the availability of facilities that meet the specific needs of Muslim tourists. By doing so, destinations like Maimun Palace can cultivate sustainable visitor loyalty, which is essential for long-term tourism development and competitiveness in the halal tourism sector. This research contributes to the growing body of literature on halal tourism by empirically validating the role of service, attraction, and facilities in shaping visitor loyalty. Future studies are recommended to explore additional variables such as religious compliance, digital engagement, and cultural sensitivity to provide a more comprehensive understanding of loyalty drivers in halal tourism contexts.

This study aims to analyze the influence of social media and social environment on the hedonistic lifestyle among contemporary adolescents. A hedonistic lifestyle, which prioritizes the pursuit of personal pleasure and material satisfaction, has become increasingly prevalent among adolescents with the rapid development of technology, especially social media. This research employs a qualitative approach using in-depth interviews and case studies involving adolescents who are active social media users in several major cities in Indonesia. The results indicate that social media plays a significant role in shaping ideal life standards that emphasize luxury, social status, and instant gratification, which influences adolescents to pursue similar lifestyles. Additionally, the social environment, particularly family and peer groups, further strengthens adolescents' desire to gain recognition and social status through a consumerist lifestyle. The study also finds that although a hedonistic lifestyle provides momentary satisfaction, its long-term effects can be detrimental both psychologically and financially, and can worsen self-image and emotional well-being among adolescents. Therefore, it is important to provide more comprehensive education to adolescents on the wise use of social media and support the development of healthier life values within family and school environments.
