Dermatophytosis is a superficial fungal infection of the skin, hair, and nails that is often found in tropical climates such as Indonesia, including Jambi City, which has high humidity and community habits that can support fungal growth. This study aims to describe the demographic characteristics of dermatophytosis patients who received treatment at a private dermatologist and venereologist in Jambi City throughout 2023. This study used a descriptive design using secondary data from patient medical records. A total of 399 patients who met the inclusion criteria were analyzed univariately and the results are presented in the form of a frequency distribution table. The results showed that tinea corporis was the most common type of dermatophytosis, followed by tinea cruris and tinea capitis. The majority of patients were male, aged 17–25 years, had a high school education, and worked as students. The most common locations of lesions were on the trunk and groin. These findings suggest that the productive age group is more susceptible to dermatophytosis, possibly related to high physical activity, excessive sweating, and suboptimal personal hygiene. This research is expected to be the basis for planning health education regarding the prevention of fungal infections and improving clean and healthy living behavior in the community.

This study analyzes the implementation of Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) principles in the 'Nusa Loe' program in Biting Village, East Manggarai. The ABCD approach emphasizes utilizing local assets such as social networks, cultural traditions, natural resources, and human skills as the foundation for sustainable development and community independence. The program begins with an asset mapping activity led by the community, enabling the identification of the village's strengths from five key aspects: human, social, natural, institutional, and cultural assets. Through active participation, the community designs and implements development activities based on local potentials, replacing the conventional development paradigm that focuses on deficiencies and needs. The qualitative research approach employs in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and data triangulation to understand the shifts in mindset and community empowerment. The findings show that the implementation of ABCD successfully transformed the community's mindset, previously dependent on external aid, into a more independent and self-confident one. For example, Mr. Petrus, who improved the economic value of local coffee products after attending a coffee roasting training, and Mrs. Maria, who emphasized the importance of social capital and solidarity in supporting the sustainability of village businesses. The strengthening of cultural assets and local traditions, such as the Caci dance and customary rituals, was also integrated into the village's development plans and institutional management. The 'Nusa Loe' program demonstrates that asset-based empowerment can build a self-reliant, innovative, and sustainable village in the face of development challenges.

Slope stability is a key concern in open-pit mining due to its impact on safety and operational efficiency. Mine X, located in Kalimantan Island, faces landslide risks on its high wall slopes. This study aims to model slope stability and determine safe and economical slope geometry. The analysis was performed using the Limit Equilibrium Method (Bishop Simplified), both analytically and numerically, through Slide 6.0 software by Rockscience Inc. Input data were obtained from five geotechnical investigation points provided by PT.X, including cohesion, internal friction angle, and saturated unit weight. Two lithologies were analyzed—claystone and sandstone—with slope height variations (5 m, 10 m, 15 m) and angles (26°, 45°, 51°, 59°), under dry and saturated conditions. Simulation results show that the factor of safety (SF) decreases with increasing slope height and angle, especially under saturated conditions. Sandstone demonstrates better stability than claystone. The recommended optimal slope geometry is 10 meters in height with a 59° angle, yielding a SF ≥ 1.25 and aligning with the PC-400 excavator's cutting capability. This study provides a technical reference for designing safe slopes that support mining productivity.

Oxytocin massage is a technique used to stimulate the release of the hormone oxytocin, which plays a vital role in breastfeeding. Spinal massage stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system, which then triggers the release of oxytocin. This hormone causes contractions in the muscle cells surrounding the milk ducts, thereby promoting breast milk production. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of oxytocin massage on increasing breast milk production in postpartum mothers. This study used a quantitative design with a quasi-experimental approach, namely a one-group pretest-posttest design. The study population was postpartum mothers with breast milk flow problems at the Bandarharjo Community Health Center, Semarang City. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, where researchers selected samples based on certain characteristics. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. Data analysis used the Chi-Square test. The results of the study showed that the calculated Chi-Square value on the first day (62,000) was greater than the Chi-Square table (12,591), on the second day (54,866 > 23,684), and the third day (58,117 > 32,670).
