Turnover intention is widely recognized as one of the earliest indicators of potential employee resignation, which in turn can generate considerable organizational challenges such as increased operational costs, the erosion of organizational knowledge, and declining productivity levels. While a significant body of international research has explored the antecedents of turnover intention, studies that specifically provide a narrative synthesis within the Indonesian workforce context remain scarce. Recognizing this gap, the present study seeks to identify the dominant factors that influence turnover intention in Indonesia by conducting a narrative literature review. The review focused on nine selected articles published between 2018 and 2023 in nationally indexed journals. To ensure rigor, the selection was based on predefined criteria: the articles had to employ empirical designs involving full-time employees, apply quantitative research methodologies, and explicitly examine the relationships between independent variables and turnover intention. The data extracted from the studies were analyzed thematically to identify recurring patterns and dominant themes. The analysis revealed four key factors that consistently shaped turnover intention across the reviewed literature. First, job stress was found to be a critical determinant, where prolonged work pressure and role overload significantly increased employees’ desire to leave. Second, job satisfaction emerged as a central variable, with dissatisfaction related to compensation, recognition, and career development strongly linked to turnover intention. Third, leadership style played an important role, as authoritarian or unsupportive leadership approaches heightened employees’ intention to resign. Finally, the leader’s role in fostering workplace relationships and support systems was identified as a factor influencing employee attachment and loyalty. In conclusion, this study contributes theoretically by mapping the dominant factors of turnover intention within the Indonesian context and highlights their interconnections.

This paper is motivated by the condition of the Nurul Firdaus Mosque, which has long been neglected and has minimal religious activities other than Maghrib and Isha prayers. This phenomenon reflects the decline in the mosque's role as a center of worship and social and religious activities in the community. Mosques, which should be places for fostering the community, are instead only used to a limited extent, often even locked outside of Maghrib and Isha prayer times. This study aims to explore in depth the factors causing low congregation participation and find solutions in the form of innovative collaboration between mosque administrators and the younger generation, especially Generation Z, in managing the mosque in a modern and inclusive manner. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and documentation. Informants in this study consisted of religious leaders, community leaders, mosque administrators, mosque youth, and the general public living around the research location. The research focuses on examining social dynamics, communication patterns, and forms of participation between groups involved in mosque management. Anthony Giddens' structuration theory is used as an analytical tool to understand the relationship between structures (rules, norms, and practices of mosque management) and agents (mosque administrators and youth) in shaping social change towards more open, adaptive, and responsive mosque management to the needs of the times. The results of the study indicate that the alienation of the congregation towards the mosque is influenced by the lack of innovation in religious activities, the absence of an accommodating approach to the younger generation, and weak communication and coordination within the mosque management body itself.

This study aims to analyze land cover changes in Pariaman City in 2013, 2018, and 2024 using Landsat-8 imagery with the support of the Google Earth Engine (GEE) platform and the Classification and Regression Trees (CART) algorithm. Land cover change is a critical issue in Pariaman City, as population growth, infrastructure development, and economic activities have driven significant land conversion. The classification generated eight land cover classes representing the general condition of the area. The analysis revealed that rice fields were the dominant land cover in all three periods; however, they experienced a substantial decline, indicating land conversion, particularly into settlements and road networks. In addition, the area of mangrove forests and water bodies in coastal regions decreased, while plantation areas in the eastern and southern parts of the city increased. Conversely, river land cover remained the smallest category, with annual fluctuations. The identified change patterns included urban sprawl (expansion of settlements into suburban areas), the conversion of productive land into infrastructure, and coastal degradation due to human activities and natural factors. The accuracy assessment produced overall accuracy and a Kappa index above 80%, while validation using the Mapping Accuracy method through Google Earth showed per-class accuracy rates above 75%, categorized as very good. These findings indicate that the use of satellite imagery and the CART algorithm in GEE is effective for monitoring land cover dynamics while providing valuable insights for local governments in formulating sustainable development policies and managing coastal environments such as those in Pariaman City.

The development of automotive technology drives innovation in vehicle support components, including the continuously variable transmission (CVT) system, which plays a crucial role in transmitting engine torque and power to the wheels. One of the main elements in this system is the clutch lining and clutch housing, whose performance significantly impacts motorcycle performance. However, the standard pattern on these components is often not optimal in maximizing power delivery. Therefore, this study was conducted to analyze the effect of modifying the grooves of the clutch lining and clutch housing on engine torque in a 110 cc motorcycle. The research method used an experimental approach by varying the modification pattern on the clutch lining and clutch housing. The test motorcycle with a capacity of 110 cc was tested using a dyno test to measure torque and power at various engine speeds. Each modification variation was then compared with standard conditions to evaluate the resulting performance differences. The results showed that the pattern modifications on the clutch lining and clutch housing significantly increased torque. Several modification variations were able to significantly increase torque at medium to high speeds, thus providing better engine response and more efficient power delivery. Thus, this research contributes to the development of more optimal CVT component designs and has the potential to improve motorcycle performance, especially in the small capacity vehicle segment.

This study examines the relationship between material mastery and draping practice outcomes among students in the Family Welfare Vocational Education (PVKK) Fashion Design Study Program at PGRI Adi Buana University, Surabaya. Draping, as a technique for making patterns directly on a mannequin or the human body, is an important course in fashion design synchronization. This technique allows students to develop creativity, understand the proportions, shapes, and volumes of fabric, and produce unique works that suit the curves of the body. This study used a quantitative approach by collecting data from 60 student respondents from the 2021 and 2022 intakes through questionnaires and documentation. The variables studied were draping material mastery (independent variable) and draping practice outcomes (dependent variable). The analysis results showed a significant and positive relationship between material mastery and draping practice outcomes. The better the material mastery, the better the students' draping practice outcomes. This emphasizes that a strong theoretical understanding is an important foundation for practical skills, and learning theory and practice must be balanced to optimally improve the quality of student work. These findings have important implications for curriculum development and learning methods in the PVKK Fashion Design Study Program. To support the achievement of optimal practical results, teaching strategies are needed that integrate theory and practice in a more interactive and applicable way. For example, the use of video tutorial-based learning media, digital draping simulations, or project-based learning can strengthen students' understanding while improving their technical skills. Furthermore, increasing the intensity of practice with direct feedback from lecturers has also proven effective in accelerating technical mastery. Interpersonal communication is a crucial aspect of human life, both within the family and in the community, as it serves as a means of providing motivation, support, and positive guidance. One social issue of considerable concern is alcohol dependence among adolescents, which can negatively impact their physical, mental, and social development. This study was conducted to determine how interpersonal communication between parents and adolescents in Lalang Village, Rana Mese District, East Manggarai Regency, plays a role in reducing alcohol dependence. Furthermore, this study also examined the strategies parents use to overcome barriers to interpersonal communication in an effort to prevent alcohol consumption among adolescents. This study used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation of parents and adolescents in Lalang Village. Analysis was conducted by examining the communication patterns that occur, the obstacles encountered, and their impact on adolescent behavior related to alcohol consumption. The results of the study indicate that interpersonal communication between parents and adolescents in reducing alcohol dependence is still not optimal. This is evident in the lack of time spent together between parents and adolescents, the low response of adolescents to messages delivered face-to-face, and the lack of understanding on the negative impacts of alcohol on health on both parties. Cultural factors and limited knowledge also hinder the effectiveness of interpersonal communication. In conclusion, effective interpersonal communication is essential for educating and guiding adolescents to reduce alcohol consumption. Efforts should include improving parental communication skills, strengthening family interactions, and raising public awareness of the dangers of alcohol. Educators and community leaders also play a crucial role in supporting the education process and preventing alcohol dependence among adolescents.

This study analyzes Kompas.com’s news coverage of the Papua conflict and human rights issues during the 2024 Presidential Debate to examine media neutrality through Norman Fairclough’s Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) integrated with Teun A. Van Dijk’s model. The analysis covers three dimensions: micro (text), meso (discursive practice), and macro (social practice), using a qualitative descriptive method. Data from 21 news excerpts reveal that social and political contexts are clearly represented, focusing on the strategies of the three presidential candidates in addressing human rights and conflict issues in Papua. The findings highlight the importance of realizing the Papua-related commitments made during the debate by the elected president, given the rising trend of violence and the unresolved justice issues in the region. The study demonstrates that media coverage, even by a leading news outlet such as Kompas.com, carries the potential to influence public perception regarding sensitive political and social issues. At the micro level, the language and lexical choices in the news articles often convey subtle ideological positions, including the framing of human rights violations and conflict events, which may reflect both explicit and implicit biases. At the meso level, discursive practices, including editorial decisions, headline constructions, and sourcing patterns, contribute to the shaping of narratives, highlighting certain aspects of the candidates’ statements while minimizing others. Meanwhile, at the macro level, the broader societal and political context, including historical grievances, regional tensions, and national political dynamics, provides the backdrop against which news coverage is produced and consumed, indicating the complex interplay between

Weather and cloud cover are two fundamental atmospheric elements that are closely interconnected and play a vital role in understanding, classifying, and predicting atmospheric conditions. Accurate classification of weather conditions is essential not only for meteorological studies but also for practical applications in agriculture, aviation, transportation, and disaster management. Among the various statistical techniques available, correspondence analysis has proven to be an effective exploratory method for revealing associations among categorical variables by displaying their relationships in a two-dimensional graphical map. The primary objective of this study is to examine the relationship between different categories of weather conditions and levels of cloud cover using correspondence analysis. The data were sourced from the Kaggle platform, consisting of 13,200 observations with two key categorical variables: weather conditions (sunny, cloudy, rainy, and snowy) and cloud cover (clear, partly cloudy, cloudy, and overcast). This large dataset provides sufficient variability and reliability to capture the complex interdependence between the two variables. The findings reveal a statistically significant relationship between weather categories and cloud cover levels. The correspondence map visualization shows distinct patterns: clear weather is strongly associated with cloudless skies, while rainy and snowy weather conditions are predominantly linked to fully overcast skies. Cloudy and partly cloudy conditions occupy an intermediate position on the correspondence map, reflecting a transitional state between favorable and unfavorable weather. The first dimension of the map represents a spectrum from favorable weather conditions (sunny and clear) to adverse conditions (rainy and snowy), whereas the second dimension primarily reflects the intensity or density of cloud cover, ranging from thin to thick cloud layers. Overall, this study demonstrates the usefulness of correspondence analysis as an exploratory tool for meteorological data, offering valuable insights into the interrelation of weather and cloud cover categories.
