This study aims to analyze the role of Baitul Maal wa Tamwil (BMT) as an Islamic microfinance institution in eliminating loan shark practices in communities, particularly in Java and Sumatra. Loan shark practices persist due to the ease and speed of loan disbursement, despite the high interest rates that entrap small communities in difficult-to-escape debt cycles. BMT offers a fair and interest-free Islamic financing solution based on profit-sharing principles and a more inclusive approach. This study discusses BMT’s financing strategies, such as lenient requirements, fast processing, and financial education programs designed to compete with loan sharks. The main findings indicate that BMT plays a significant role in providing fairer financing access to small communities and helping reduce their dependence on loan sharks. However, this study also reveals several challenges BMT faces, such as limited capital, strict regulations, and low financial literacy among the public. These challenges hinder BMT's ability to effectively compete with loan sharks in terms of speed and accessibility. The results of this study emphasize the importance of strengthening BMT’s capital, developing human resources, and innovating Islamic financing products so that BMT can play a more prominent role in eradicating loan shark practices in the community. With the right strategy and support from various stakeholders, BMT has great potential to continue growing as a more equitable and empowering financing solution.

Logistic regression analysis revealed that every one-point increase in the Islamic financial literacy score increases the odds of choosing Islamic vehicle installments by 4.9%. Demographic factors such as age, education, and income also have a significant influence. These findings highlight the importance of efforts to improve Islamic financial literacy as a strategy to encourage the adoption of Islamic financing products. MSMEs play a crucial role in the economy. However, the performance of MSMEs is often not optimal due to various challenges, such as limited access to financing, lack of financial literacy, and high dependence on government policies. This study aims to analyze the effect of financial literacy and government policies on the performance of MSMEs in Depok City. A quantitative research design was applied in this study. Primary data were obtained from the results of a questionnaire distributed to 100 selected MSME actors using the accidental sampling method. Data collection was carried out in August - September 2024. Data analysis used the Smart Partial Last Square (PLS) 4 program which includes measuring the outer model and inner model. In testing the outer model, convergent validity, discriminant validity, and composite reliability tests were carried out. In testing the inner model, an evaluation was carried out on multicollinearity, R-squared, goodness of fit, F Square, and path coefficients. The results of the study showed that both financial literacy and government policies had a positive effect on MSME performance, but were not statistically significant. The results of this study imply that financial literacy and government policies need to be improved in terms of implementation and relevance to provide a more tangible impact on MSME performance. Financial literacy programs and policies need to be more tailored to the specific needs of MSMEs and supported by ongoing support to have a significant impact.

In the era of free markets, Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSMEs) must fulfill specific conditions in order to compete. In order to help business actors—particularly craftspeople and MSME actors—better expand their enterprises, community service activities are necessary because many of them still lack business legitimacy. The purpose of this activity is to introduce the company Identification Number (NIB), which may be obtained online, and to raise awareness of the need of maintaining company licenses. The Indonesian government wants to make business actor registration easier by using the Online Single Submission (OSS) to submit NIBs. The provision of business legality theory and practice is part of this support. The purpose of this study is to arm business actors with information and expertise about creating NIB so they may grow their enterprises. The findings demonstrated that the community's comprehension of creating NIB, which each and every business actor must own, had improved. Because the NIB has granted legal status to the firm, it has made doing business simpler. MSME participants in Seberang Sanglar Village also benefit from protection from the government, easy access to financing, government empowerment, and support for their business growth.

This research aims to analyze the influence of liquidity, ownership structure, leverage, and Return On Assets (ROA) on dividend policy in companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) for the 2021-2023 period. Dividend policy is an important decision for a company in determining the allocation of profits that will be distributed to shareholders and those that will be retained for investment purposes. Liquidity reflects a company's ability to meet short-term obligations, while ownership structure highlights the role of shareholders and managers in decision making. Leverage, which indicates the use of debt in financing, and ROA, as an indicator of profitability, are also considered important factors influencing dividend policy. This research differs from previous research with the addition of leverage variables as well as differences in population, sample and research period. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide a more comprehensive understanding of the factors that influence dividend policy and its implications for company value.

This study aims to understand how the KUR financing mechanism using murabahah contracts is implemented by Bank Syariah Indonesia and its role in the development of micro enterprises. The research approach used is qualitative with a descriptive method. Research data was collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation. The results of the study show that the murabahah contract is effectively applied in KUR financing at Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Mojokerto Mojosari. This agreement allows banks to buy goods needed by customers and then sell them to customers with an agreed profit margin. The implementation of this murabahah contract provides an alternative financing that is in accordance with sharia principles, thus attracting the interest of micro entrepreneurs who want to avoid usury. In addition, this financing mechanism has also been proven to help increase production capacity and the economic welfare of micro business owners. This study found that the implementation of KUR financing through murabahah contracts at Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Mojokerto Mojosari contributed significantly to the development of micro businesses. Micro-entrepreneurs who obtain this financing can expand their business, improve product quality, and expand the market. Thus, this financing not only helps in the provision of working capital but also encourages local economic growth.
