Online sales in Manado reflect the large number of Manadonese people who are interested in shopping online rather than going shopping in person to fulfill their needs and desires. The focus of the problem and aim of this research is to explain the role of social media as an online marketing communication tool in increasing sales of Pasar Bersehati. This research uses a qualitative approach which is a type of field research, by analyzing online buying and selling practices carried out by Bersehati Market Traders. Data collection techniques in this research were observation, interviews, literature study and documentation. The results of this research show that the communication process carried out by market traders with one heart in marketing their products via Instagram social media is by implementing a communication strategy that includes communication components (source, message, media, recipient, effect and feedback), as well as applying the 4P (product) marketing principles. , price, place, promotion). In marketing communications, there are also supporting and inhibiting factors. The supporting factor is the various social media features which are very helpful in marketing. The inhibiting factor is the existence of other online business competitors who are increasingly interested. The effectiveness of marketing communications carried out by market traders with one heart has a big influence as seen by the increasing level of sales.

This study aims to analyze the effect of social media use on interpersonal communication skills among adolescents in Bandung City. This research uses quantitative method with survey approach. The research sample consisted of 100 randomly selected teenagers. Data were collected through a questionnaire that measured the frequency, duration, type, and purpose of social media use as well as interpersonal communication skills.The results of multiple regression analysis showed that frequency of social media use (B = 0.432, p < 0.001), duration of social media use (B = 0.298, p < 0.01), type of social media used (B = 0.215, p < 0.05), and purpose of social media use (B = 0.148, p < 0.05) all had a positive and significant influence on interpersonal communication skills. The resulting regression model has a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.572, which indicates that 57.2% of the variability in interpersonal communication skills can be explained by the independent variables used in this study.The findings indicate that social media use significantly affects adolescents' interpersonal communication skills. Frequency of social media use has the greatest influence, followed by duration, type, and purpose of social media use. Therefore, it is important for adolescents to utilize social media wisely in order to improve their interpersonal communication skills.

An incident that often happens nowadays is that students prefer to play on their cellphones to watch videos. Especially in applications like TikTok which are not specifically for education. Many of the videos on the app are not filtered, so there is a possibility that underage students are watching inappropriate content. Therefore, an understanding of this application is necessary in order to achieve learning objectives. This article aims to provide knowledge about the use of TikTok and YouTube to improve students' speaking skills through the use of these applications. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which covers pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II. There are four research procedures, namely planning, implementation, observation and finally reflection. This research was carried out at SMP Negeri 4 Madiun with research subjects in class VII B which had a total of 32 students. The data analysis technique used is qualitative data. The results of this research contain: 1) the learning outcomes in the Pre-cycle were that class VII B students had a knowledge score of 25% while the attitude score was 12.5%; 2) the learning results in Cycle I of students experienced an increase in the percentage of complete knowledge values ​​by 46% while the attitude values ​​were 50%; 3) learning outcomes in Cycle II experienced a better improvement than the previous stage with a completeness percentage of knowledge scores of 100% and attitude scores reaching 97%.

This research aims to explore the impact of social media use on self-confidence related to body image in Generation Z in Cimahi City. This study uses a qualitative approach by conducting in-depth interviews with a number of participants who represent a variety of experiences and perspectives regarding this topic. The research results show that social media has a significant role in shaping individuals' self-perception and body image, both positively and negatively. These findings provide insight into how social media influences young people's self-confidence in the context of their local culture and environment.

This study aims to investigate the role of the social media platform Instagram @abouttng in fostering social interaction among the community in Tangerang. Additionally, the study explores the types of content utilized to enhance interaction on this platform. A mixed-methods research approach was employed, involving surveys, interviews, and content analysis. Surveys were conducted to gather data on the frequency of Instagram @abouttng usage, interaction patterns, and users' perceptions of its impact on social relationships. In-depth interviews were conducted with a selection of social media users to gain insights into their personal experiences and interaction strategies. Content analysis was performed to identify the most effective types of content in building social interaction. Demographic and cultural factors were also considered in the analysis. The findings of this study are expected to provide a better understanding of the role of social media in shaping local community social interactions and insights for the development of more effective digital communication strategies.

Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to students to find out about the social media they use, duration of use, and purpose of use, as well as its influence on study habits. The research results show that social media has a positive and significant influence on student study habits. Simultaneously, the social media variable as a whole contributes 49.2% to the study habits variable.

This study aims to analyze the relationship between the use of social media and sleep quality in FEBI students. This study uses an analytical observational research design with a cross sectional approach. Data was collected using a questionnaire consisting of information about social media usage and sleep quality. The results showed that there was a weak correlation between social media use and sleep quality (ρ=0.004, R=0.506). This shows that excessive use of social media can interfere with the quality of students' sleep

Abstract: Social media is one form of developing information technology and social media users can share various information through various platforms such as TikTok. TikTok has proven to be an effective platform in promotion and marketing strategies, increasing public awareness and business revenue. Features such as short videos, filters, and creative ads allow users to reach a wide audience. However, it is also necessary to be aware of negative impacts such as gadget addiction and controversial content. Strategies to increase TikTok's effectiveness include engaging content, collaboration with influencers, use of hashtags, and ads such as Top View Ads and Brand Takeover. With the right approach, TikTok can be a very effective promotional tool to increase sales and consumer interaction in e-commerce.

The Indonesian beauty industry has experienced remarkable growth in recent years, positioning the country as a lucrative market for businesses operating in the beauty tech sector. This rapid expansion has fueled fierce competition, prompting many manufacturers to adopt digital marketing campaign strategies to attract consumers and boost sales. Amidst this dynamic landscape, Somethinc, a leading beauty tech brand, has achieved remarkable success, multiplying its sales by 14 times compared to the previous year and securing the top spot as the best-selling brand on e-commerce platforms with total sales of Rp 53.2 billion. In light of this competitive environment, media monitoring plays a crucial role in understanding the positive sentiment surrounding Somethinc across social media and online news platforms. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method, utilizing a netnographic approach and leveraging media monitoring analytical tools to gather data through the Brand24 application. The primary objective of this research is to identify the dominant sources of positive sentiment for Somethinc across social media and news platforms. Comparative analysis of positive sentiment, mentions, reach, and product discussions on social media and news platforms regarding Somethinc reveals a notable advantage in social media mentions.

This study examines the influence of social media on business communication development in Shopee. Through online surveys and interviews, data were collected from 100 respondents and 30 randomly selected consumers. The analysis results indicate that Shopee's communication strategy through social media is effective in enhancing customer interaction and influencing purchasing decisions. Positive responses to content, content influence on purchases, and Shopee's responsiveness to consumer interactions serve as evidence of the success of these strategies. The implications of these findings emphasize the importance of investing in innovative content development and training for social media response teams.

This journal aims to analyze effective strategies for using social media (Tok Tok) in religious learning in the digital era. In today's digital era, social media has become an important platform for individuals to get information and interact online. This can also be used as a means of learning about religion through content about religion on the platform (Tik Tok). This qualitative research analyzes data using a library observation methodology to understand effective strategies for using TikTok as a means of religious learning in the digital era. This research includes collecting journal references, analyzing them, and discussing important points. This research is descriptive in nature and focuses on the influence of religious content on students' understanding of religion on TikTok. This research involved 50 students from various academic levels and departments. Data analysis is carried out throughout the research, in contrast to quantitative research where data analysis is carried out at the end of the research.

. The Indonesian beauty industry continues to grow, marked by the emergence of many local skincare brands. Avoskin is a local skincare brand that is committed to "green beauty" with environmentally friendly products. This research aims to determine general positive sentiment, mentions, and specific positive sentiment towards Avoskin as an eco friendly brand on social media Data was collected from online communities using social media monitoring tools, namely Brand24. This research shows that there are 858 general positive sentiments, 2,564 mentions, and 28 specific positive sentiments towards Avoskin as an eco-friendly brand with related keywords. The final results of the research show that X and TikTok users still do not give full attention to Avoskin as a eco friendly brand.   Keywords: , , ,

A qualitative research approach using a literature review was used, involving the collection and analysis of data from library sources relating to the research subject. In addition, the Investigation selects journal sources, organizes and discusses subjects relevant to the research objectives, and compares articles related to this research. In the literature review, the results of descriptive and qualitative research are summarized (summary) using qualitative methods. The widespread distribution of pornography is a problem that cannot be resolved through regulations. Various laws have been enacted to prevent the production of pornography, which has now been criminalized. The use and promotion of sex, partial or full nudity in scenes, sexually explicit gestures, and social activities of female characters usually fall under pornography. Pornography often depicts women, in particular, as highly degrading sexual objects. An immediate cessation of the distribution of pornographic content on social media and a focus on legal protection for victims of such behavior must be emphasized.

Canva and PIXLR are applications that can be operated through computers and smartphones. Many people have not been able to maximize the potential of this application to become a support in creating content in entrepreneurship. MSME players in the Ngaliyan Kendal urban village area, on average, have not used a combination of Canva and PIXLR applications in creating content to promote their products on social media and marketplaces. The Canva application in maximum use must be paid (pro) so that by combining the combination with the PIXLR application can get maximum results without having to pay (pro). This community service activity aims to provide knowledge to MSME players in the Ngaliyan village area on how to maximize the Canva application with PIXLR to produce good content without having to pay (pro). This community service activity is expected to be able to improve the skills of MSME players so that they can create the right content so that they can minimize costs and improve the performance of both themselves and their businesses. The results of this activity are that MSME players install and operate the Canva and PIXLR applications for every content creation. MSME players feel very helped because without having to subscribe to pay (pro) it turns out that they can get results almost equivalent to subscribing (pro).

This research aims to identify and analyze how social media as a tool for selling graphic design services is then linked to the legal consequences for copyright objects as well as the legal protection given to copyright owners reviewed using Law Number 28 of 2014. This research is a research normative law with a statutory approach. The legal sources used consist of primary legal materials and secondary legal materials. The legal language analysis technique uses literature study, namely books, journals, articles related to the problem topic. The results of this research show that Law Number 28 of 2014 concerning Copyright has basically provided direct legal protection for graphic design creators for the graphic design work they upload to social media. In protecting their creations, graphic design creators can take legal action, both preventive and repressive.

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman anggota Karang Taruna RW 04 Kelurahan Krobokan, Semarang Barat, mengenai etika berbahasa di media sosial sebagai upaya pencegahan ujaran kebencian. Pelatihan yang berlangsung selama dua hari pada tanggal 22 dan 23 Maret 2024 ini melibatkan berbagai metode seperti ceramah, diskusi interaktif, workshop, simulasi, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), pelatihan literasi digital, kampanye media sosial, role-playing, dan evaluasi. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta dalam berkomunikasi secara bijak dan sopan di media sosial. Evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas peserta merasa pelatihan ini sangat bermanfaat dan mengubah cara mereka berinteraksi di media sosial. Pelatihan ini berhasil menciptakan lingkungan media sosial yang lebih positif dan konstruktif, serta mengurangi potensi penyebaran ujaran kebencian.

This is because someone who has literacy skills will find it easy for that person to solve problems or find a solution to a problem wisely. Media literacy is an effective step to anticipate the spread of Hoks which is growing rapidly in society.This PKM was carried out on the target group of young people studying at Bambu Apus Pamulang. This PKM was carried out using a lecture method, asking questions and answers to the participants. With this service activity, these Koran students get the information they need to be able to more easily and quickly differentiate between truth and error in information. Copyright is the legal right that inherently belongs to the creator of a work once it is expressed in a tangible form, and it cannot be limited unless specified by the law. Music and songs are forms of intellectual property that should be registered with the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DJKI). Song copyright is a legal privilege that musicians can get by creating a piece of art in the form of music and songs. Songs are a form of intellectual property that is safeguarded under Law Number 28 of 2014. With the advancement of highly advanced technology, it becomes more convenient for individuals to enjoy songs or music through an application. Nevertheless, several cover versions continue to be posted without obtaining consent from the original creator. This text seeks to determine if a creator, whose song has been uploaded by a third party, is entitled to legal protection. Additionally, it intends to explore the legal ramifications for individuals who upload a song without the author's consent. The author employs normative research methodologies in this study, analyzing legal resources such as statutory rules, legal theory provisions, and expert opinions. According to Article 5 and Article 9 of Law Number 28 of 2014 about Copyright, creators are granted legal protection for music that are uploaded by third parties, regardless of the medium used to announce the song. This protection applies universally, regardless of location.

The results show that social media is not only a promotional tool, but also a key player in global digital business transformation, providing opportunities for companies to grow and compete in an increasingly digitally connected global market.
