This study aims to optimize marketing strategies through RFM (Recency, Frequency, Monetary) analysis on a retail transaction dataset obtained from Kaggle. The dataset contains 64,682 transactions from 5,242 SKUs involving 22,625 customers over one year. Data cleaning and RFM analysis were conducted to segment customers based on recency, frequency, and monetary values. The findings reveal that customers were segmented into groups such as Champions, Loyal Customers, and At Risk. These segments provide valuable insights for developing targeted marketing strategies, such as loyalty programs for high-value customers and retention campaigns for at-risk customers. The study demonstrates that RFM analysis is effective in identifying valuable customer segments and optimizing marketing efforts based on customer behavior. This approach can increase customer retention and improve the return on investment (ROI) in marketing campaigns.

Dalam menghadapi persaingan bisnis ritel yang semakin ketat, sangat penting untuk mengembangkan strategi yang dapat menarik lebih banyak perhatian pembeli terhadap produk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai dampak promosi penjualan dan tampilan toko terhadap pembelian impulsif. Sampel yang digunakan terdiri dari 97 konsumen yang berbelanja di Matahari Departement Store Solo Grand Mall. Variabel yang diteliti mencakup promosi penjualan, tampilan toko, dan pembelian impulsif. Data primer dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM PLS) serta SmartPLS 4.0. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa promosi penjualan dan tampilan toko memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pembelian impulsif.

This research aims to determine the influence of retail mix variables on purchasing decisions at Mai Mart Supermarket, Bima City. The sample for this research is between 30 and 500. So the number of samples in this research is 50 people with a Rurposive Sampling sampling technique, namely a data source sampling technique with certain considerations. Considering the limited number of consumers who shop at the Maimart Supermarket in Bima City. The data processing method uses multiple linear regression and the T test. The results of this research state that the Retail Mix variable does not have a significant effect on purchasing decisions at the Mai Mart supermarket in Bima City.

This study investigates the level of customer loyalty in e-commerce in the United States in 2020. Using e-commerce customer data from 2020 available on Kaggle, this research analyzes cohort retention to understand the number of customers from each cohort who continue to make purchases in subsequent months. Additionally, this study evaluates the implementation of data analysis to assess the effectiveness of promotional strategies and their impact on customer loyalty and retention. The results show that retention percentages decline over time, with the number of active customers decreasing after registration. However, some cohorts exhibit better retention performance. For instance, the April cohort saw a significant increase from 18.46% to 29.23%, and the May cohort experienced the highest increase from 14.29% to 30.16%. On the other hand, the January cohort showed the most drastic retention drop from 100% to 10.42% after the first month, with the largest monthly decline from 23.96% in April to 7.29% in May. These findings provide practical guidance for e-commerce companies in developing more effective strategies to improve customer retention. Further analysis is recommended to understand the specific causes of these retention trends and to develop more holistic strategies to support better business decisions and increase long-term profitability.

Indomaret, Indonesia's largest mini market, uses a management information system (SIM) for its sales. When it comes to utilizing SIM, Indomaret employs a variety of methods, including the acquisition of business and personnel in the ritel sector. The process of using the operational Indomaret SIM and implementing it for business purposes is an important aspect. Because of this, the purpose of this article is to investigate a variety of SIM Indomaret features. In order to address a variety of Indomaret functions, including inventories, logistics, SDM, keuangan, and penjualan management, the SIM was developed with the help of a large and persistent Estonian market. The SIM Indomaret system includes hardware such as a hard drive, a memory stick, a database, and software such as a computer and a telephone.

The Ritel business in Indonesia is growing and increasing every year because it is considered a promising investment with great potential for significant profits. This study aims to understand and evaluate the layout of Retail Lestari's business. The method used in analyzing the data is the Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) and Total Closeness Rating (TCR) method. Based on the results of the Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) analysis of Ritel Lestari, the facility prioritized for first construction is the cashier, as the cashier has the highest Total Closeness Rating (TCR) value of 76. Therefore, to facilitate the operational process, the placement of other facilities is prioritized based on their highest relationship values to the warehouse to be in close proximity.

 Indonesia has quite rapid development of the retail business. This requires actors who have retail businesses to be involved in consumer purchasing decisions. There are several factors that influence consumer purchasing decisions, one of which is a good and strategic layout of facilities. Cahaya Abadi is a shop that runs a retail business. Cahaya Abadi Store provides various products for daily consumer needs. This research was conducted using the Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) method and Total Closeness Rating (TCR) calculations in data processing. The research uses the Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) method and Total Closeness Rating (TCR) calculations. This research uses primary and secondary data and the methods used are qualitative and quantitative methods. The layout is based on providing convenience for consumers in shopping and it is hoped that consumers will have an efficient and effective time in shopping.

Designing the layout is an important key in ensuring company operations run efficiently in the long term. Several problems have been identified at Sejahtera Mart, especially regarding the layout of frozen food and chillers, as well as shopping baskets that are less efficient. A layout that is not optimal can make it difficult for customers to find the items they need, thereby affecting customer satisfaction. This research uses the Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) method to analyze the relationship between facilities, and Total Closeness Rating (TCR) to evaluate the benefits of a layout that suits the product material flow and the shortest material flow distance that can be achieved. The research results show that the placement of the chiller and shopping basket layout in the layout solution has changed. Based on TCR analysis, the display rack shows the highest score with a TCR of 330, followed by the cashier with a score of 217. This research aims to redesign the layout of the facilities at Sejahtera Mart to be more efficient and effective in placing products and organizing space. It is hoped that these changes will improve sales, customer experience and maximize space use.

Kegiatan penyuluhan ini dilakukan kepada para pemilik ritel di wilayah Cangakan, Nusukan, Banjarsari, Surakarta. Luaran dari kegiatan ini adalah: 1) Meningkatnya pengetahuan dan wawasan peserta dalam rangka mempertahankan bisnis ritel dalam menghadapi persaingan yang kompetitif, 2) Meningkatnya pengetahuan peserta dalam manjemen pengelolaan usaha, dimana pelaku harus mampu memisahkan dalam peran manajemen keuangan, manajemen operasional, manajemen sumberdaya manusia dan manajemen pemasaran, agar usahanya tetap eksis, 3) Meningkatnya pengetahuan peserta dalam pemasaran online, karena untuk mendapatkan barang langsung dikirim ke toko, 4) Kegiatan ini dapat berlanjut, sehingga ada prinsip kemitraan antara tim pengabdian dan para pemilik ritel. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan tahapan sebagai berikut: 1) Pemilihan peserta pengabdian kepada masyarakat, yaitu pemilik bisnis ritel/kelontong di wilayah Cangakan, Nusukan, Banjarsari, Surakarta, 2) Penyampaian materi penyuluhan tentang bagaimana strategi mempertahnkan bisnis ritel dalam persaingan kompetitif, 3) Pelaksanaan evaluasi. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan cara: sebelum penyuluhan, dilakukan tanya jawab untuk mengetahui pengetahuan awal setiap peserta tentang bisnis ritel/toko kelontong; setelah penyuluhan, dilakukan tanya jawab lagi tentang materi yang sama. Dengan membandingkan hasil jawaban, maka akan diketahui apakah ada peningkatan pengetahuan peserta tentang pengelolaan bisnis ritel dan ruang lingkupnya.Kata kunci: strategi, bisnis ritel, persaingan yang kompetitif

Financial performance analysis plays a crucial role in assessing the overall health and effectiveness of a company. This research focuses on analyzing the financial performance of a retail distribution network company in Indonesia, utilizing quantitative descriptive methods. It employs financial ratio and common size analyses on primary data from financial statements to comprehend the company's financial position, profitability, liquidity, and solvency. Through a quantitative descriptive observational design, secondary data from literature and documents are collected. The analysis includes assessing liquidity via current and cash ratios, profitability through metrics like ROA, ROI, and ROE, as well as evaluating solvency using relevant ratios. The findings provide insights into the company's performance, revealing potential short-term issues due to decreasing current and cash ratios and fluctuations in profitability. These insights assist stakeholders in making informed decisions and formulating strategies, underscoring the significance of financial analysis in evaluating a company's health.

This study aims to determine the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction at Erablue Electronic Shop in Tangerang City. This research uses quantitative methods using SPSS 25 software as a hypothesis test. This study uses a measurement instrument in the form of an interval scale which requires respondents to express the effect of service quality on their satisfaction in shopping, using a Likert scale. The data collection technique used a judgmental sampling method with a sample size of 120. The results of this study indicate that Service Quality has a positive effect on Customer Satisfaction at Erablue Electronic Stores in Tangerang City.

Pengaruh strategi pasar internasional yang diadopsi oleh perusahaan ritel PT. Sumber Alfaria Trijaya, Tbk (Alfamart) di Indonesia. Dalam studi kasus ini, kami fokus pada industri perdagangan modern untuk menggambarkan bagaimana strategi pasar internasional berkontribusi terhadap pertumbuhan dan keberhasilan perusahaan. Dari Hasil review mengenai penelitian ini  menunjukkan bahwa strategi pasar internasional yang diterapkan oleh Alfamart memiliki dampak positif terhadap pertumbuhan perusahaan dan posisinya di pasar ritel Indonesia. Beberapa strategi yang ditemukan dalam penelitian ini antara lain ekspansi geografis, diferensiasi produk, penggunaan teknologi informasi, dan kemitraan dengan pemasok lokal. Dan kami juga  menemukan bahwa ekspansi geografis menjadi salah satu faktor kunci dalam strategi pasar internasional Alfamart. Dengan membuka toko-toko baru di berbagai daerah di Indonesia, Alfamart berhasil mendapatkan pangsa pasar yang lebih luas dan meningkatkan kehadirannya di tingkat nasional. Selain itu, diferensiasi produk dan penggunaan teknologi informasi telah membantu Alfamart menarik pelanggan dengan menyediakan produk yang beragam dan meningkatkan efisiensi operasional.Selain itu, kemitraan dengan pemasok lokal juga terbukti berhasil dalam strategi pasar internasional Alfamart. Dengan bekerja sama dengan pemasok lokal, Alfamart dapat menawarkan produk-produk lokal yang relevan dengan preferensi pelanggan di masing-masing daerah. Hal ini tidak hanya meningkatkan hubungan dengan pemasok lokal, tetapi juga memberikan keuntungan kompetitif bagi Alfamart dalam menghadapi pesaing di pasar ritel.Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa strategi pasar internasional memiliki dampak positif yang signifikan pada pertumbuhan dan keberhasilan perusahaan ritel seperti Alfamart. Dalam konteks industri perdagangan modern di Indonesia, strategi tersebut dapat meningkatkan kehadiran pasar, meningkatkan loyalitas pelanggan, dan meningkatkan keuntungan perusahaan. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan ritel lainnya juga dapat mengadopsi strategi serupa untuk mencapai keberhasilan di pasar internasional.

This study aims to analyze the detection of compliance audits of inventory accounting information systems at retail stores through internal control. An inventory accounting information system is a critical element of retail store operations, and adherence to proper procedures is critical to maintaining the integrity and reliability of inventory data. The research method used is a literature study and descriptive analysis. Data was collected through a literature review related to compliance audit detection. This research also includes a case study to illustrate the application of internal control in the detection of compliance audits in inventory accounting information systems. By implementing proper internal controls, retail stores can minimize the risk of fraud, errors, and losses associated with inventory. This research also shows the need for increased awareness and understanding regarding audit compliance detection among auditors and accounting professionals involved in the retail industry.

Today the development of the retail business in Indonesia shows a very positive trend. This is shown by the ever-increasing number of minimarkets in Indonesia. This research was conducted at PT. Bumi Nyiur Swalayan and aims to determine the implementation of retail management strategies at PT. Bumi Nyiur Supermarket head office. This research is a qualitative research and primary data sources using data collection techniques, namely observation and interviews. The results of the study show that the implementation uses four management aspects, namely marketing aspects, production aspects, human resource management aspects and financial aspects.

Kemajuan industri e-commerce menciptakan tantangan bagi perusahaan ritel offline saat ini. Meskipun harus bersaing secara ketat dengan toko online, tetapi ritel offline masih diinginkan oleh konsumen. Ritel offline mampu bertahan karena sebagian konsumen masih memilih untuk datang ke toko dan melihat produk terlebih dahulu sebelum membelinya. Salah satu ritel besar yang populer di Indonesia adalah Transmart yang sedang mengalami penutupan 39 gerainya sepanjang 2021-2023. Tetapi ada beberapa gerai yang masih sangat potensial salah satunya adalah Transmart Cempaka Putih. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hal-hal yang mendorong konsumen untuk berbelanja secara offline di Transmart Cempaka Putih. Responden penelitian adalah orang-orang yang pernah mengunjungi Transmart Cempaka Putih. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa previous experience berpengaruh terhadap store layout, store merchandise dan store service. Sedangkan store familiarity tidak berpengaruh terhadap store layout, store merchandise dan store service.

Pendampingan usaha ritel lokal dianggap penting dalam meningkatkan kemajuan usaha ritel khususnya yang berada di Kabupaten Sleman. Artikel ini akan menjelaskan lebih rinci tentang langkah-langkah dan manfaat diadakan nya pendampingan tersebut. Artikel ini juga akan membahas tantangan dan hambatan yang mungkin dihadapi selama proses pendampingan serta cara mengatasinya. Diharapkan dengan adanya pendampingan usaha ritel ini bisa memajukan usaha ritel tradisional yang berada di Kabupaten Sleman dapat bersaing dengan toko berjejaring nasional.

Berkembangnya usaha bakery dalam dunia bisnis mengakibatkan semakin banyak  jenis roti yang menjadi pilihan masyarakat. Usaha bakery pada cabang utama PT. Bumi Nyiur Swalayan (BNS) merupakan salah satu kelompok usaha bakery yang ada di kota Palu. Selain beroperasi dalam bidang ritel, perusahaan ini juga bergerak dalam bidang usaha bakery, terutama roti yang diproduksi langsung di PT. Bumi Nyiur Swalayan (BNS). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis bauran pemasaran yang diterapkan oleh usaha Bakery BNS. Adapun metode yang digunakan pada penelitian yaitu menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi langsung ke lokasi penelitian dan melakukan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan PT. Bumi Nyiur Swalayan (BNS)  dalam bidang bakery telah menerapkan bauran pemasaran yang meliputi  4P: produk (product), harga (price), tempat (place), promosi (promotion), dari ke empat bauran yang telah diterapkan ini dapat memaksimalkan produksi, penjualan dan meningkatkan pendapatan usaha bakery BNS.

Teknik dariPengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasidan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian DI lapanagan selama magang dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembagian kerja di CV. Akai Jaya Motor Kota Palutermasuk pelaksanaan pembagian kerja waktu.Pembagian kerja dilakukan pada saat pekerjaan ada, baik rutin maupun insidentil bekerja.
