PAMTIRTA Tempino is an institution that provides clean water services in the Tempino area. The process of recording water use and monitoring water turbidity is still done manually, making it prone to recording errors and making it difficult to monitor the water quality distributed to the community. This study aims to design a website-based water turbidity recording and monitoring system by focusing on User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) aspects using the Design Thinking method. The research follows five stages of Design Thinking: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. Data collection involves observation and in-depth interviews with PAMTIRTA officers. The results include a design with key features such as digital water meter recording, turbidity monitoring dashboards, and complaint services. The prototype was tested using Maze and the System Usability Scale (SUS), achieving a score of 80.1 and falling into the "Good" category (grade B). These results demonstrate that the UI/UX design effectively provides an easy-to-understand, operationally suitable, and efficient solution for PAMTIRTA Tempino's water recording and turbidity monitoring needs. This design offers a ready-to-implement solution to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and quality of clean water services in the Tempino area.

Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem informasi penjualan berbasis web untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pencatatan transaksi pada Toko Bangunan Subur Kaliwungu yang sebelumnya masih dilakukan secara manual. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi meliputi pencatatan yang tidak efisien, kesulitan pencarian data, serta kurangnya ketepatan dalam laporan keuangan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) menggunakan model Prototype. Sistem dikembangkan dengan menerapkan metode akuntansi berbasis Akrual (Accrual Basis) agar laporan keuangan dapat disusun lebih akurat dan real time. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini mampu mencatat transaksi penjualan dan pembelian, mengelola data barang dan pelanggan, serta menyajikan laporan penjualan dan laporan keuangan secara digital. Fitur tambahan seperti histori transaksi, informasi stok barang, serta perhitungan laba rugi juga membantu pemilik toko dalam pengambilan keputusan. Implementasi sistem memberikan dampak positif, di antaranya peningkatan efisiensi, keakuratan data, dan kemudahan monitoring aktivitas penjualan.

This study aims to evaluate the Figma-based redesign of the BBPMP Central Java website to enhance user satisfaction and visual consistency with national graphic standards. Using a qualitative descriptive approach and the Research and Development (R&D) method, the process included needs analysis, prototype design, expert validation, and user testing. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and Likert-scale questionnaires. The results show that a user-centered redesign significantly improves navigation, visual appeal, and user satisfaction with the website interface. Figma proved to be an effective collaborative tool for developing interactive and standardized design prototypes. These findings provide strategic insights for educational institutions to enhance the quality and attractiveness of digital platforms.

This research aims to examine the application of weaving techniques combined with macrame in making hoodie jackets made from used denim, as an effort to support sustainable fashion. The background of this research is the increase in textile waste, especially used denim, which has not been maximally utilized. The method used is Research and Development (R&D), with the stages of design design, making samples of woven techniques, validation by experts, and making prototypes. The technique applied was two-axis plaiting combined with macrame knots using braided cotton rope. The results showed that the combination of these two techniques could be effectively applied to the hoodie jacket structure. The resulting prototype proved to be functional, comfortable to wear, and has high aesthetic value. This research is in line with previous findings such as Syaani (2020), which showed the role of webbing as a structural and decorative element, as well as Tiara Lugina (2015) and Mayarani (2019), which highlighted the visual strength of traditional techniques in modern fashion. Based on the results of the research, it is suggested that pressing of the seams is done before turning to prevent thickening, and macrame knots are locked on the lining to make it more stable. The results of this study show that the combination of webbing and macrame with used denim is effectively applied in the design of an innovative and environmentally friendly jacket.

The rapid development of information technology requires training institutions to adapt in order to provide services that are effective, efficient, and aligned with user needs. Don Bosco Sumba Vocational Training Center (BLK) as an institution focused on enhancing community skills faces challenges in providing a system that is easily accessible and usable by trainees, instructors, and administrators. This study aims to design and develop a web- and mobile-based application using the User-Centered Design (UCD) approach to produce a system that truly fits user needs and preferences. The UCD method was applied through several stages, including user and context identification, needs analysis, solution design, and iterative evaluation of the developed prototype. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and questionnaires administered to various users within Don Bosco Sumba BLK. The findings show that the implementation of the UCD method improved usability, streamlined administrative processes, and enhanced user satisfaction with the developed system. Therefore, the development of this UCD-based application not only supports the improvement of service quality but also strengthens the effectiveness of training management at Don Bosco Sumba BLK. The implications of this study highlight the importance of applying a user-centered approach in the development of information systems within the vocational training sector.

Website memegang peranan penting dalam menunjang layanan pendidikan, khususnya di era digital. Namun, situs Kahfi Education sebelumnya kurang menarik dan tidak memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna secara efektif, sehingga membatasi keterlibatan pengguna dan akses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan desain ulang User Interface (UI) dan User Experience (UX) website Kahfi Education menggunakan metode Design Thinking untuk menghasilkan desain yang berpusat pada pengguna dan interaktif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Design Thinking melalui tahapan Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, dan Testing dengan menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan kuesioner yang melibatkan 30 responden. Pengujian kegunaan menggunakan System Usability Scale (SUS) untuk mengukur dan membandingkan kegunaan sebelum dan sesudah desain ulang. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan skor SUS yang signifikan dari 53.17 menjadi 80.25, yang menunjukkan peningkatan kegunaan yang sangat baik. Penelitian ini berkontribusi untuk menunjukkan implementasi praktis Design Thinking dalam meningkatkan situs web pendidikan, mendukung pembelajaran daring yang efektif, serta meningkatkan kepuasan pengguna dalam mengakses layanan pendidikan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini dapat diterapkan pada institusi pendidikan lain yang ingin meningkatkan platform digital mereka dengan menggunakan pendekatan desain yang berpusat pada pengguna, sehingga mendukung transformasi digital pendidikan Islam di Indonesia secara lebih optimal. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga memberikan gambaran alur pengguna dan prototipe yang telah diuji untuk mendukung pengembangan platform pendidikan berbasis digital secara berkelanjutan.

This study aims to evaluate and improve the user interface (UI/UX) design of the e-learning platform at MTsN 33 Jakarta using the User Centered Design (UCD) method. This method is applied to identify user needs and preferences through observation, interviews, and questionnaires, and to generate design solutions focused on comfort and ease of use. The development process begins with the creation of a wireframe (low-fidelity prototype), followed by the creation of a high-fidelity prototype using Figma software. Evaluation is conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) to measure the usability of the system, comparing the old system and the new design. The analysis results show that the old design has an average SUS score of 48.71, categorized as "Not Acceptable" with a "Poor" rating, while the new design achieved a score of 82.00, categorized as "Acceptable" with an "Excellent" rating. These findings indicate that the application of UCD successfully improved usability and user experience, contributing significantly to the development of a more intuitive and responsive e-learning system that meets user needs.

This research presents the design, development, and implementation of a mini smart car prototype that operates using Internet of Things (IoT) technology. The system is built around the ESP8266 microcontroller (Amica version), which functions as the core processing unit responsible for handling Wi-Fi communication and data processing. The motion of the car is controlled by an L298 motor driver module that regulates the operation of DC motors. The entire system is powered by a 3.7-volt rechargeable battery, ensuring portability and energy efficiency. The study discusses in detail the hardware configuration, software programming, and integration of IoT-based control through a web or mobile interface. Functional testing of the prototype, named MINIOT, focuses on evaluating the responsiveness, stability, and reliability of remote control operations. The results are expected to show that the system can effectively receive and execute user commands while transmitting real-time telemetry data, such as motor status and connection indicators. This project demonstrates the feasibility of low-cost IoT-based automation for small-scale robotic applications.

Inventory management plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth business operations by preventing stockouts that may cause losses. Toko Cat Gani still relies on manual recording, which is prone to data loss, duplicate entries, and delays in stock reporting, thus requiring a systematic solution. This study aims to design and implement a web-based inventory information system using the buffer stock method to overcome these issues. The research method employed is Research and Development (R&D) with a prototype model, consisting of needs analysis, system design, validation, and testing stages. The system was developed using PHP, MySQL, and XAMPP, featuring item data management, supplier management, inbound and outbound transactions, buffer stock calculations, and real-time inventory reports. The implementation results show that the system facilitates transaction recording, minimizes data entry errors, provides notifications when stock reaches the minimum threshold, and generates accurate and timely reports. Expert validation and user testing confirm that the system is feasible and effective in supporting inventory management at Toko Cat Gani. Therefore, the implementation of a web-based inventory information system with the buffer stock method can be considered an efficient and reliable solution to improve accuracy and effectiveness in inventory control.

The development of information technology has brought significant changes in various sectors, especially in the banking sector. However, the financing application service at the Muamalat Bank Situbondo Branch still uses manual methods that are inefficient and risky. This study aims to design a web-based financing application information system using the Prototype method, which can produce an information system design with a simple, user-friendly, and easy-to-operate interface, so that customers and bank officers can quickly understand the flow of use. In this study, the method used is a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques include interviews with agency supervisors, direct observation in the field, and documentation. The results obtained from this study are an information system design that includes process modeling (UML), database modeling (Class Diagram), and user interface design. This system is designed to allow customers to apply for financing online, upload digital documents, and monitor the application status in real time. With this system, it is expected that the process of data verification and validation by bank employees will be faster and more accurate, and the risk of document loss can be minimized.

Nava Rent Car is a car rental service business located in Batam. Many customers have complained about the difficulty in making reservations and obtaining detailed information about the vehicles and services offered. To address this issue, the author designed a more informative, functional, and appealing User Interface (UI) website to support the marketing of services. This design was developed using the Design Thinking method with SWOT analysis techniques. This approach was chosen because it focuses on the user, helping to deeply understand their needs, desires, and problems. The Design Thinking process consists of five steps: empathizing to understand the user's problems, defining the problem, ideating solutions, prototyping, and testing the design for user feedback. The result is a high-fidelity website prototype that illustrates the user flow and measures how well the design meets user needs and provides an optimal experience. Feasibility testing showed positive responses, especially regarding the interface design, clarity of vehicle information, and available features. It is expected that this design will help Nava Rent Car enhance its marketing strategy and expand its business reach.

The Student Evaluation of Lecturers (EDOM) at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Dr. Soetomo has historically been conducted via Google Forms and processed manually, resulting in slow response times, repetitive recap procedures, and insufficiently documented reporting validity. This study aims to design, build, and evaluate a web-based EDOM system using the Prototype Model (MODEL PROTOTYPE) to improve data collection efficiency, recap accuracy, and the effectiveness of feedback for teaching quality assurance. The development method comprises requirements elicitation with the Quality Assurance Unit through a review of SPMI documents and brief interviews, architectural and interface design (Laravel, MVC pattern, and MySQL), staged prototyping, and rapid iterations based on stakeholder feedback until functional conformity is achieved. The resulting system provides authentication and role-based authorization (Admin, GPM, Lecturer, Student), odd/even period management, a question bank employing a Likert scale, anonymous questionnaire submission, score recap per lecturer and per category (pedagogical, professional, personal, social), dashboard visualizations, and report export to support governance needs. Functional evaluation was conducted through black-box testing on core scenarios (login, period scheduling, submission, recap, and export) and indicated conformance to specifications. User acceptance evaluation employed the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to examine perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, attitude toward use, and behavioral intention; the results indicate positive acceptance and potential for operational adoption. Practically, the prototype approach accelerates requirement alignment, reduces the risk of mis-specification, and facilitates change control, while the Laravel-based implementation supports maintainability, role-based access security, and further feature development. The study is limited to a single faculty; future work may include SSO integration, audit trails, and longitudinal, cross-semester analytics for more comprehensive monitoring of lecturer performance.

Bahasa Hubula merupakan salah satu bahasa daerah yang digunakan oleh masyarakat di Lembah Baliem, Papua. Seiring perkembangan zaman, penggunaan bahasa ini mengalami penurunan, khususnya di kalangan generasi muda. Minimnya dokumentasi serta belum tersedianya media digital yang mendukung menjadi tantangan dalam pelestarian bahasa tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang dan membangun aplikasi kamus bahasa Hubula berbasis mobile sebagai media pembelajaran sekaligus upaya pelestarian bahasa daerah. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah metode Prototype, yang memungkinkan pengembangan dilakukan secara iteratif melalui pembuatan purwarupa, evaluasi, dan perbaikan berdasarkan umpan balik pengguna. Data kebutuhan dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan penutur asli, keluarga, dan masyarakat Kampung Sogasio yang berdomisili di Jayapura, serta melalui studi terhadap sumber kosakata yang tersedia. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa aplikasi kamus dalam bentuk aplikasi Android dan sistem web admin. Aplikasi Android ditujukan bagi pengguna umum untuk mencari dan mengajukan kosakata, sedangkan sistem web digunakan untuk pengelolaan data oleh admin. Hasil pengujian dengan metode blackbox menunjukkan bahwa seluruh fitur telah berfungsi sesuai kebutuhan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan teknologi pelestarian bahasa daerah serta membuka peluang replikasi untuk bahasa-bahasa lokal lainnya di Indonesia yang juga terancam punah.

The maintenance of non-aviation defense equipment (main weapon system) is a critical aspect in maintaining operational readiness. However, the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) system in Indonesia still faces limitations due to manual reporting, inefficiency in spare parts management, and the lack of integration of the Life Cycle Cost (LCC) approach. This study aims to design and develop the Integrated Cavalry Monitoring and Maintenance System (ICMMS) based on a web application that integrates sensors, real-time data analytics, and LCC calculation. The prototyping method was used, involving design, development, integration, and testing phases on the Maung Tactical Vehicle and Anoa Armoured Personnel Carrier at PT Pindad. The results of the prototype implementation showed a significant increase in maintenance efficiency: damage reporting time decreased from ±3 hours to ±1 minute, critical component identification became 95% faster, and maintenance scheduling shifted from reactive to predictive. Additionally, the integration of the LCC algorithm allows for more accurate maintenance cost estimation, supporting technical and strategic decision-making. This study demonstrates that ICMMS based on LCC can be an innovative digital solution to enhance MRO effectiveness and operational readiness of non-aviation defense vehicles in Indonesia. It is expected that this system will improve the resilience and cost-effectiveness of managing Indonesia’s military vehicle fleet.

Indonesia is the world's leading producer of spices, but it still faces challenges in manual visual quality assessment, which is inconsistent. This study aims to develop a spice quality classification system using a Deep Learning approach based on Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN). Data was collected through digital images of five types of spices (cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, pepper, and nutmeg) classified into two categories: good and bad. The dataset was then processed and used to Train the CNN model using Tensorflow. The model architecture consists of several convolution, pooling, and dense layers, and is integrated into a web-based prototype application using Streamlit. Evaluation results show that the model achieves high Accuracy of 98.86% (Training), 98.45% (Validation), and 98.45% (Testing). The prototype application can provide automatic Predictions of spice quality through a simple and responsive interface. The results of this study indicate that CNN is effective in identifying the visual quality of spices and can serve as an objective, efficient technological solution that supports the enhancement of Indonesia's spice export competitiveness.

This community service activity was conducted as an effort to introduce integrated learning innovations based on Augmented Reality (AR) technology using the Assemblr Edu application to teachers at SMAN 1 Leuwiliang, Bogor, and several other schools in Bogor Regency. This activity was motivated by the underutilization of interactive digital technology in the learning process, particularly in helping teachers visualize abstract material. The implementation methods included preparation, webinar promotion, webinar implementation, a brief technical training session on creating learning materials using the Assemblr Edu application, and guidance in designing AR-based learning content during the webinar. Participants were asked to create AR-based teaching materials using Assemblr Edu according to the subjects they teach. In addition to providing theoretical material, the implementation team also conducted hands-on practice to ensure participants developed the skills to create AR content independently. The results of the activity showed high enthusiasm from the participating teachers, with 85% of participants stating that the training was very helpful and that they felt more confident in integrating AR technology into classroom learning. Participants were also able to produce several prototypes of Augmented Reality-based learning media that can be used as interactive teaching tools. This activity not only improved teachers' technological literacy but also broadened their understanding of how digital technologies such as AR can be creative solutions to enhance the quality of learning and student engagement. Through this community service activity, it is hoped that teachers will become agents of change in utilizing innovative technologies to create more engaging, interactive, and technology-driven learning experiences that align with the demands of 21st-century educational technology. Additionally, this program serves as a strategic step to strengthen teachers' capacity in addressing future challenges in digital learning.

The advancement of information technology has encouraged public service institutions, including PT. PLN (Persero), to adopt web-based systems to improve operational efficiency. At ULP Arso, the current monitoring of customer installment fine payments is managed manually using physical documents and basic spreadsheets. This method is prone to data entry errors, information redundancy, and delayed updates, which hinder timely decision-making and customer service. To address these issues, this study aims to design and develop a web-based monitoring system that facilitates real-time data access and simplifies tracking of installment payments. The research employed the prototyping development model, emphasizing iterative design involving early user feedback and continuous refinement. Data were collected through interviews, direct observations, and documentation at ULP Arso. The resulting prototype includes modules for user registration, login, customer and admin dashboards, bill management, and financial reporting. Functional testing using the blackbox approach demonstrated that all features operated according to specifications, and the system responded reliably across various usage scenarios. The study contributes by offering a practical solution that digitizes manual processes, thereby improving data accuracy and streamlining administrative tasks. From a practical perspective, the system supports data-driven decisions and enhances transparency and accountability in the customer billing process, aligning with the broader goal of improving public service quality in the electricity sector.

The laundry business is rapidly growing in urban society, especially in areas with a high activity rate. One of the main challenges is the manual transaction recording process, which causes inefficiency and potential errors. This research aims to design and develop a web-based cashier system for Laundry Indimo Azza using the Prototype method. The system is designed to support customer data recording, automatic service fee calculation, service and employee management, and structured transaction and financial reporting. The Prototype method was chosen due to its ability to adapt to user needs through design and evaluation iterations. Testing results using white box and black box methods show that the system works according to expectations, increasing operational efficiency and speeding up customer service.

This research aims to design and build a web-based application calledWe Listen We Don’t Judgewhich is able to analyze links entered by users, whether from social media or other websites. The system will automatically assess the content of the link, then provide neutral and constructive suggestions or input to users. The system development uses an approachSystem Development Life Cycle(SDLC) prototyping model to obtain a system that meets user needs. The prototype is tested iteratively to obtain feedback before entering the final implementation stage. The final result of this research is an interactive information system that is able to perform link content analysis and provide suggestions with a simple and user-friendly interface.
