Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been applied to many human endeavors, and epidemiology is no exception. The AI community has recently seen a renewed interest in applying AI methods and approaches to epidemiological problems. However, a number of challenges are impeding the growth of the field. This work reviews the uses and applications of AI in epidemiology from 1994 to 2023. The following themes were uncovered: epidemic outbreak tracking and surveillance, Geo-location and visualization of epidemics data, Tele-Health, vaccine resistance and hesitancy sentiment analysis, diagnosis, predicting and monitoring recovery and mortality, and decision support systems. Disease detection received the most interest during the time under review. Furthermore, the following AI approaches were found to be used in epidemiology: prediction, geographic information systems (GIS), knowledge representation, analytics, sentiment analysis, contagion analysis, warning systems, and classification. Finally, the work makes the following findings: the absence of benchmark datasets for epidemiological purposes, the need to develop ethical guidelines to regulate the development of AI for epidemiology as this is a major issue impeding it’s growth, a concerted and continuous collaboration between AI and Epidemiology experts to grow the field, the need to develop explainable and privacy retaining AI methods for more secured and human understandable AI solutions.

Background: Cervical cancer is the fourth most common disease of the female reproductive system worldwide. The incidence of cervical cancer in the world is entering a critical period, where every year the incidence of cervical cancer is increasing. Until now, cervical cancer is the leading cause of death in developing countries. Aim: To find out about women's knowledge and attitudes towards cervical cancer. Method: Scoping review using Arksey and O'Malley frameworks, using databases from PubMed, EBSCO and Wiley. Result: A total of 14 articles from 2016-2021 used critical appraisal from JBI (Joanna Briggs Institute). Women's knowledge and attitudes towards cervical cancer have six themes. The first theme is knowledge about cervical cancer which consists of knowledge about risk factors, signs and symptoms and early detection of cervical cancer. The second theme is the attitude of women towards cervical cancer consisting of positive and negative attitudes. The third theme is the factors that influence knowledge consisting of age, education, family income and sexual frequency. The fourth theme of factors that influence attitudes is age and education. The fifth theme of information sources consists of mass media, family and friends, health workers and health services. Theme six is the barriers to accessing information and services consisting of a lack of awareness and the high cost of vaccination. Conclusion: Knowledge about cervical cancer in women is still low. Women only have a general idea of cervical cancer. However, women show a good attitude about cervical cancer screening, because cervical cancer can cause death and if early diagnosis of the disease is very helpful in preventing disease.

Given the requirement for appropriate handling to stop irregular conduct at work (organizations; companies, government institutions, MSMEs). This scoping review's objective is to summarize the literature on the value of diversity management in avoiding workplace deviance.  The scoping study adheres to the Arksey and O'Malley Steps. (2005). The scoping review used has 5 steps, including identifying research topics, finding pertinent studies, Specifically, (1) formulating research questions, (2) locating pertinent studies, (3) choosing studies, (4) outlining data, and (5) gathering, describing, and disclosing findings.  Over 11 years, this research was reviewed using 3 electronic databases: Taylor dan Francis, Wiley dan Emerald. (2013-2023). Corruption, the giving of gifts or bribes, and gossip are among the categories of deviant behavior in the workplace that were identified, and all of these categories have the potential to negatively impact organizational performance, according to the findings of the scoping review. Gender, race, and culture are three types of diversity that are particularly susceptible to the issue of aberrant behavior in the workplace. Therefore, management must provide support and focus, particularly to human resource managers who are responsible for managing diversity in the workplace.
