This study aims to analyze the role of village government services in the development of infrastructure in Mekarwangi Village, Cisauk District. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection methods through interviews with ten local residents. The results of the study show that village government services have made a significant contribution to the village's physical development, particularly in improving the accessibility and quality of basic infrastructure. Before 2015, road access in the village still used simple asphalt and lacked adequate drainage systems. Since 2016, the village government has begun concrete paving of roads and construction of drainage channels. Then, in 2022, road development using paving blocks was carried out in small alleys to facilitate mobility for residents, especially those living near plantation areas. Eight out of ten respondents stated that the development was very helpful, as previously they faced difficulties due to slippery and unsafe dirt roads, especially during the rainy season. These findings indicate that appropriate and responsive village government services can drive development that directly impacts the improvement of rural community quality of life.

The development of road infrastructure undoubtedly has a detrimental impact on society. The Serdang Bedagai Regency government's infrastructure development is an example of how something that is deemed beneficial by some always has a detrimental impact on others. This research intends to examine the influence of the building and operation of the Medan-Tebing Tinggi Toll Road on the socio-economic conditions of the community in the Pasar Bengkel area, Bengkel Village, Perbaungan District, Serdang Bedagai Regency. This study employed a qualitative descriptive case study methodology and gathered information via literature review, in-depth interviews, and direct observation. This study, which was carried out on February 15, 2025, involved three resource people who worked in Pasar Bengkel stores. According to the research, the toll road's construction and operation have a significant impact on Pasar Bengkel businesses. Prior to the toll road, Pasar Bengkel's average monthly income ranged from Rp10 million to Rp50 million, which suggests that local traders were enjoying rather favorable economic conditions. Around 80% of traders, however, reported a more than 50% decrease in income when the toll road opened, with the majority only making IDR3 million to IDR10 million a month.

The impact of the landslide is very worrying for the entire community and the congregation of Dock Seven because the land has experienced very large erosion and splits from the edge of the river to the wall of the church building which can result in the collapse of the building wall and church tower. For this reason, fast handling is needed to anticipate a greater impact by making gabions reinforced with ironwood as retaining pillars, accompanied by material compaction and re-casting. The purpose of this community service activity is to minimize losses and damage due to landslides, and to restore the function of the road access as a means of community activities every day. The construction of this landslide handling is made simple, namely by installing ironwood pillars along the landslide area starting from the boundary of the church building wall to the edge of the river flow, then placing gabions filled with gravel material from the bottom of the landslide hole to near the ground surface, then filled with coral material and re-cast as road access. For the river bank wall, it is done by casting and installing embankments until it passes the road surface so that the river water does not overflow onto the road when the rainfall is quite high. The gabion used is a type of thick wire measuring 2 m x 1 m x 1 m with a side wire diameter of 3.4 mm, a braided wire diameter of 2.7 mm, a hole/mesh size of 8 cm x 10 cm, a number of turns of 3 and a weight/sheet of 18 Kg. The ironwood used as a support is 5 cm x 5 cm in size. The embankment material uses coral rock, while the casting of the river bank embankment uses a 12 mm iron frame combined with 5 cm x 5 cm ironwood. The height of the embankment from the bottom of the river to the road surface is 3.80 meters where the height from the bottom to the river to the road surface is 3 meters and from the top of the road surface is 80 cm. With the implementation of this landslide handling construction, the entire community and the congregation of Dock Seven can use the road access again for daily needs.

Concrete is an important aspect of building construction, one of which is road construction. Concrete is used for road construction because it has the advantages of high compressive strength, easy maintenance, ease of formation, and easy to obtain components. Road construction using concrete is applied to the reconstruction of the Kebumen South Ring Road, where the Kebumen South Ring Road is a 9.07 km long national road. National roads are arterial and collector roads in the primary road network system that connect provincial capitals, national strategic roads, and toll roads. Therefore, construction on national roads requires strong and good materials on the Kebumen South Ring Road to optimize road use. In this study, the concrete is composed of Bima cement as Portland cement, coarse aggregate from Kebumen, fine aggregate from the Progo River, and water from drilled wells. The admixture was obtained from a Conmix HK 2. Subsequently, all ingredients were mixed using a mixer truck. The concrete mixture was molded into cylinders and blocks. In this study, the average results of the 5-day concrete compressive strength test were obtainedwhich is 373.42 kg/cm2 and 28-day-old concrete is 442.32 kg/cm2. The average result of the 5-day concrete flexural test is50.65 kg/cm2 and that of 28-day-old concrete was 60.73 kg/cm2. The results are in accordance with the general specifications of the Bina Marga, namely, 45 kg.

Mining roads are one of the most important facilities that greatly affect the smoothness of production and affect mining costs. Therefore, the construction of mining roads must be carried out carefully to meet technical and work safety standards. Road conditions, distance, road slope and road carrying capacity will greatly affect the production capacity of heavy equipment, especially the production capacity of transport equipment. The location of this research is at PT. Energi Cahaya Industritama, precisely in Palaran sub-district, Samarinda city, East Kalimantan province. After observations were made at the research location, it was found that the geometric conditions of the road did not comply with the standards based on the overburden transport equipment or the largest transport equipment, for example, the width of the road on bends and the slope of the road. After conducting the research, the results of the data from the geometry of the access road were obtained, namely, the actual condition of the geometry of the access road on the straight road width is divided into 6 segments with a width of 13.3 meters, 14.3 meters, 14.5 meters, 13.2 meters, 15 meters, 15.7 meters. Meanwhile, the width of the bend road is also divided into 2 segments with a width of 15.9 meters and 15.5 meters respectively. And on the slope of the road there are 2 segments with values of 11.1% and 14.8% respectively. Based on the results of the simulation software, the productivity of the transport equipment was obtained at 92.42 BCM/hour, which shows that productivity has increased by 12.23 BCM/hour from the actual productivity value of 80.109 BCM/hour. It has an average cycle time of 10.33 minutes, which shows a reduction in time or 6.01 minutes faster than the actual average cycle time of 16.34 minutes.

Every company is required to plan the need for goods as effectively as possible in order to maximize profits. Bintang Makmur Building Shop is a building shop that provides building materials, especially cement. Cement is one of the basic materials for buildings. The need for cement has recently continued to increase due to the large number of developments, both housing projects and road construction. In addition to the increasing demand for cement, cement prices also experienced price volatility which tended to fluctuate. This is done so that there is no stockpiling or even a shortage of cement. With prices that tend to go up and down if there is too much stock, it will cause losses if there is a price decrease. Vice versa if there is a shortage of cement stock, it can cause disappointment to customers. To deal with the above, it is necessary to build a prediction system that can predict cement needs in prosperous shops. The system that will be built uses an Artificial Neural Network (Artificial Neural Network) which is part of the science of artificial intelligence which has been widely used to solve various kinds of problems related to prediction or forecasting by utilizing the Backpropagation Method. The system is designed with the MATLAB programming application. From the results of the research that has been carried out, it was found that the total demand for Andalas cement for January of the following year is 0.2532 or 2532, thus the predicted total demand for Andalas cement is 2532 sacks.

Soil has a very important role in construction, namely in buildings, roads, bridges, dams and other buildings, so soil with adequate technical properties is needed. Work will encounter difficulties if you encounter soil that has large shrinkage characteristics, this causes damage to the building standing on it. To improve the properties of peat soil in the field of civil engineering, soil stabilization is carried out. Soil stabilization is in principle to improve the quality of soil that is not good, or improve the quality of soil that is actually already classified as good. The characteristics of peat soil include: high organic content, easy degradation when exposed to water, and if the soil experiences dryness the soil shrinks. The liquid limit of the original soil was 63.505% and when the lime mixture was added it became 61.46% in a mixture of 5% lime, 53.47% in a mixture of 10% lime, 49.30% in a mixture of 15% lime, and 28.55% in a mixture of lime 20%. The plastic limit of the original soil was 24.03% and when the Gypsum lime mixture was added it became 29.16% in a mixture of 5% lime, 31.11% in a mixture of 10% lime, 34.15% in a mixture of 15% lime, and 36.14% in a 20% lime mixture. As the Plastic Limit value increases and the Liquid Limit value decreases in the soil, the plasticity index of the soil decreases and the cohesive properties of the soil decrease.

Aggregate is the main component of road pavement structure, namely 90-95% of the weight of the pavement. Such a large proportion means that the quality of the aggregate used will greatly determine the overall performance of the pavement. The availability of quality aggregate is absolutely necessary to ensure the sustainability of development in the road construction sector. One area that has aggregate potential that has not been utilized optimally is Kandang Mbelang Village, Lawe Bulan. The aim of this research is to determine the characteristics of the Marshall, UCS, ITS test values and the permeability of asphalt mixtures using the excavated material of Kandang Mbelang, Lawe Bulan as aggregate. This research uses experimental methods carried out in the laboratory with variations in asphalt content of 4.5%, 5%, 5.5% and 6% for the Marshall test and obtains Optimum Asphalt Content (KAO). For ITS, UCS and permeability testing, Optimum Asphalt Content was used with three samples each. Hypothesis testing for data comparison uses the T test method. The use of Kandang Mbelang aggregate in the AC-WC spec IV mixture produces a stability value of 711.5 kg, a flow value of 3.48 mm, a porosity value of 16.077%, a density value of 2.016 gr/ cm3 and Marshall Quotient value 215.823 kg/mm at Optimum Asphalt Content of 5.3%. The average ITS value is 319.024 KPa, the average UCS value is 6,982.237 KPa, while the average permeability coefficient value is 7.14x10-4 cm/s. Through the T test statistical method, it is known that the use of the Kandang Mbelang aggregate for the AC-WC spec IV mixture does not cause changes in the stability, flow, ITS and UCS values. Real changes only occur for density values, porosity values and permeability coefficients.

Every development activity carried out will definitely have an impact on the environment, both positive and negative impacts. The construction of the Lamongan northern ring road is also inseparable from the environmental impacts it causes. Therefore, it is very important to pay attention to how to carry out this development in a way that produces maximum benefits for society while causing minimal negative impacts on the environment. One way to reduce the negative impact of development on the environment is to carry out an Environmental Impact Analysis (AMDAL). AMDAL is a formal and mandatory instrument for every development activity that may have a major impact on the environment. By carrying out an AMDAL, we can analyze the potential environmental impacts that will be caused by a development project and plan ways to reduce these impacts. This research aims to find out the parts of the AMDAL study and AMDAL problems in the Lamongan North Ring Road Construction and provide solutions or ways to overcome these problems. The research results show that activities observed from the aspect of environmental suitability are referred to as environmentally sound. In this case, there is a need for a comprehensive assessment of the potential environmental impacts that may arise as a result of the construction of the Lamongan northern ring road.In carrying out AMDAL, we need to pay attention to various aspects such as the impact on flora and fauna, air and water pollution, land use, and so on. By planning appropriate and sustainable management, we can minimize negative impacts on the environment and maximize the benefits that can be obtained from this development.
