Increasing rice production is a national strategic priority given its role in maintaining food security and economic stability in the community. This study aims to analyze strategies for increasing rice production in Indonesia through a literature review approach based on relevant scientific articles. The analysis was conducted to identify the main factors that affect rice productivity and to formulate comprehensive strategies covering aspects of cultivation technology, land and water management, institutions and extension, production risk mitigation, and socioeconomic factors. The results of the study show that modern cultivation technology, especially the use of new superior varieties, the legowo planting system, and balanced fertilization, are the main foundations for increasing productivity. However, the success of technology implementation is largely determined by stable access to water, coordination of farmer institutions, intensive extension support, and the availability of capital and supporting infrastructure. Production risks due to climate change and pest attacks also have a significant impact on yield stability, requiring integrated mitigation strategies such as simultaneous planting and strengthening of integrated pest management (IPM). Overall, this study confirms that rice production enhancement strategies must be integrative, adaptive, and sustainable by strengthening the synergy between technology, institutions, and supporting policies. These findings are expected to serve as a basis for formulating more effective agricultural policies to boost national rice production.

Balikpapan City, as one of the economic centers in East Kalimantan, plays an important role in the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The Goetji, as one of the MSMEs engaged in the beverage industry, faces significant challenges and opportunities in improving its performance and competitiveness. This study aims to analyze the influence of employee work motivation, corporate culture, and corporate atmosphere on business production and economic growth in Balikpapan City. The research method used is a quantitative approach with statistical analysis to measure the relationship between the variables studied. Data was collected through a survey involving The Goetji employees and analyzed using regression analysis to identify the significance of each factor's influence. The results show that employee motivation has a significant effect on the development of The Goetji SMEs, with a significance value of 0.000, indicating a strong relationship. In addition, a positive corporate culture and a supportive corporate atmosphere also contribute to increased productivity and product quality. This positive impact is not only seen in The Goetji's internal performance but also contributes to local economic growth by creating jobs and increasing regional income. This study concludes that strengthening work motivation and a positive corporate culture are key to improving the performance of MSMEs, which in turn contributes to the economic growth of Balikpapan City. Recommendations are provided to continue developing strategies that support these two aspects in order to achieve greater sustainability and growth

This Community Service (PkM) activity focuses on the implementation of Quail Cultivation Counseling as a strategic effort to advance entrepreneurship among the Millennial Farmer Generation in Krebet Hamlet, Srengat, Blitar. This activity was motivated by the high economic potential of Quail and the need to improve the entrepreneurial competence of the younger generation in the livestock sector. The main goal of the program is to transform traditional cultivation into a structured, efficient, and sustainable modern business unit. The implementation method combines theoretical knowledge transfer with practical assistance in the field. The counseling material includes three pillars: 1) Business Scale Management, including capital management and strategies for increasing livestock population; 2) Quality Management and Livestock Health, emphasizing cage sanitation, feed, and quality vitamins; and 3) Marketing strategies to expand the distribution network. The results of the activities showed high effectiveness. Quantitatively, 80% of Millennial Farmer participants succeeded in implementing post-extension livestock population increases. Qualitatively, this activity fosters awareness, motivation, and a strategic entrepreneurial mindset so that participants are able to face production and market challenges. With this strategic practice, quail businesses are expected to increase profitability and competitiveness. This PKM serves as a catalyst in supporting economic independence and entrepreneurial development of the younger generation in the agribusiness sector.

Cocoa farming is one of the plantation subsectors that plays a strategic role in Indonesia’s economy, as it contributes to increasing farmers’ income, national exports, and the development of the chocolate processing industry. Indonesia is recognized as one of the world’s largest cocoa producers, with major production areas located in Sulawesi, particularly South Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, and Southeast Sulawesi. However, the sustainability of cocoa farming still faces various challenges, such as low crop productivity, the use of low-quality seedlings, suboptimal cultivation techniques, and the presence of pests and plant diseases. In addition, limited access to capital and the low level of farmers’ financial management skills also affect the sustainability of cocoa farming. Many farmers do not yet have proper farm financial record-keeping systems, making it difficult to manage production costs, cash flow, and farm capital planning. In this context, financial literacy becomes an important factor that can help farmers manage their farming activities more effectively and sustainably. This study aims to analyze the effect of financial literacy on the sustainability of cocoa farming and farmers’ welfare. The research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 120 cocoa farmers in Sidenreng Rappang Regency (Sidrap), South Sulawesi. Data were collected through questionnaires and interviews and then analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on farm financial management and the sustainability of agricultural businesses. This community service program was implemented to strengthen the capacity of the SIJATI Business Group in managing oyster mushroom cultivation in Sait Buttu Saribu Village, Simalungun Regency. This activity was motivated by the group's great potential in oyster mushroom production, but still faces obstacles in production, marketing, and business management aspects. The method used was a participatory-collaborative approach through stages of socialization, training, mentoring, provision of modern production equipment, strengthening digital marketing, and business management coaching. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in the group's capacity. From a production aspect, the use of a stainless steel steamer machine and modern baglog racks increased time efficiency, saved energy, and doubled production capacity. From a marketing aspect, digital marketing training and collaboration with students as resellers expanded market reach, increased consumer interaction, and drove increased turnover. From a management aspect, digital-based financial records and assistance with business legality strengthened institutions and opened opportunities for access to capital. This program also had a social impact by increasing the economic contribution of housewives who were members of the group, thereby contributing to the welfare of the village community. Overall, strengthening the capacity of the SIJATI group aligns with achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in poverty alleviation, gender equality, and inclusive economic growth. Therefore, this activity can serve as a model for empowering competitive and sustainable local commodity-based MSMEs.

Islamic economics is an economic system based on the principles of the Qur’an and the Sunnah, with the aim of providing benefit (maslahah) for humanity. Conceptually, Islamic economics is fixed, but in practice, depending on certain situations and conditions, it may change or be applied more broadly. The main principles of Islamic economics consist of four elements: tawhid (monotheism), balance, freedom of will, and responsibility. Production is not only about creating goods from materials that do not exist, but also about producing goods that are useful and beneficial. The goal of production is to achieve happiness in both the worldly life and the hereafter, based on the principles of maqasid al-shariah. Production must be in accordance with Islamic values, so that it does not conflict with the protection of religion, life, intellect, lineage, and wealth. Production priorities should follow basic needs, secondary needs, and complementary needs, while taking into account justice and social aspects such as zakat and charity. Production must be carried out optimally, and the results should be distributed fairly among owners, managers, administrators, and workers. Factors of production such as natural resources, labor, capital, management, technology, and raw materials are also inseparable from the production process.

Kajian Ekonomi dan Akuntansi Terapan 2025 Asosiasi Riset Ekonomi dan Akuntansi Indonesia

This study aims to analyze the influence of capital variables and production costs on the income of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Kediri area, East Java. The method used is a descriptive quantitative approach with data collection techniques through the distribution of questionnaires to MSME actors. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software version 26. The results of the study show that both capital and production costs have a significant influence on the income of MSMEs. Capital plays a key role in supporting business operations and expansion, while production costs affect efficiency and profit margins. These findings indicate that increasing access to capital and optimal management of production costs can be an important strategy in increasing MSME income. This research provides practical contributions for stakeholders, including local governments and financial institutions, in designing policies for empowering MSMEs that are more targeted. In addition, the results of this study can be a reference for further research that focuses on other variables that also affect the performance of MSMEs. Thus, a deeper understanding of microeconomic factors can encourage the sustainable growth of the MSME sector in the Kediri area and its surroundings.

Dawet Ayu in Banjarnegara Regency is one of the traditional culinary micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) that until now is still able to survive and continue to grow. This typical beverage product not only has cultural value, but also has the potential to be a promising economic source for the local community. However, the reality on the ground shows that Dawet Jabung's business actors are still facing various serious obstacles. Limited understanding of business management, difficulties in calculating production costs in detail, and inability to determine the right selling price of products are the main obstacles. In addition, the low knowledge related to aspects of marketing, promotion, and business communication strategies makes it difficult for this business to expand the market. As a result, some business actors have actually experienced a significant decrease in sales from year to year. To answer these challenges, community service activities are carried out through two approaches, namely Action and Quality Awareness and Rapid Rural Appraisal (RRA). Action and Quality Awareness are carried out through extensive counseling, lectures, and mentoring aimed at increasing the knowledge of business managers. In this activity, business actors are guided to understand the importance of financial recording, cost management, and strategies to improve product quality. Meanwhile, the RRA method is used to identify real needs in the field, as well as prepare training, mentoring, and coaching programs that are relevant to business conditions. The results of the activity showed an increase in the ability of partners to classify production costs into the categories of raw materials, labor, overhead, marketing, and transportation. In addition, business actors are now more skilled in determining selling prices based on the realization of costs incurred, not just estimates. They also began to compile simple bookkeeping related to assets, debts, and capital, so that business management became more professional, transparent, and sustainable

This study aims to analyze the influence of business capital on the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) at CV Kakarak Food located at Jl. Gunung Batu No. 117T, Sukaraja, Cicendo, Bandung, West Java. This study uses a quantitative method with an associative descriptive approach. Primary data were obtained through distributing questionnaires to 30 respondents who are employees at CV Kakarak Food, while secondary data were obtained from company documentation and relevant literature. The data analysis technique used was simple linear regression to test the partial effect of the independent variables on the dependent variable. The results of this study indicate that venture capital has a positive and significant influence on the development of MSMEs. The availability of venture capital helps streamline operational activities, strengthen production capacity, improve product quality, and support business expansion efforts to a wider market. Furthermore, venture capital also contributes to increasing company competitiveness in facing the dynamics of the food industry. Therefore, it can be concluded that increasing venture capital is a crucial aspect that must be considered in encouraging the growth and sustainability of MSMEs, particularly CV Kakarak Food and similar MSMEs in the food sector. This research is expected to provide input for business owners, the government, and related parties in designing MSME development strategies oriented towards capital strengthening, thus creating more stable, independent, and highly competitive businesses in the future. Furthermore, the results of this study can also serve as an academic reference for further research and as evaluation material for MSMEs in determining managerial policy priorities.

This study also highlights the importance of education and training for farmers to improve their technical skills in farming and managing their farms. Training in the use of modern agricultural technologies, such as automated fertilizing tools and efficient irrigation systems, can help farmers reduce production costs and increase yields. Furthermore, training in digital marketing can help farmers market their products more effectively through online platforms, reducing reliance on intermediaries and increasing profit margins. Furthermore, it is crucial for the government to provide support in the form of extension services and easy access to business capital. More accessible capital will enable farmers to invest in more efficient equipment and more environmentally friendly organic fertilizers. Targeted microcredit distribution to farmer groups can also accelerate the adoption of new, more productive agricultural technologies. The adoption of sustainable and environmentally friendly agricultural practices should be a long-term focus to ensure the registration of shallot farming businesses. Farmers need to be incentivized to use organic fertilizers and natural pesticides that are safer for the soil and air. Furthermore, the implementation of integrated and environmentally friendly farming systems such as agroforestry can also be an alternative to increase agricultural yields without damaging the environment. With improvements in education, training, access to capital, and the adoption of more efficient technology, shallot farming in Pasir Village can develop better and become more sustainable in the future. Furthermore, collaboration between farmer groups and local research institutions and universities can also be key to introducing new agricultural innovations.

Anime has become a significant global phenomenon, including in Indonesia, where this culture has influenced various aspects of society. This article explores the impact of anime visual style in YouTube advertisements in Indonesia. The influence of anime on Indonesian society is also evident in the consumption trends of products related to Japanese culture. The involvement of Indonesian society with anime has also encouraged the emergence of various businesses and products that capitalize on the popularity of this culture. This study focuses on exploring the impact of anime visual style on consumer responses in the context of advertising through YouTube social media in Indonesia. The researcher will analyze how the use of anime elements in advertisements can influence consumer perceptions, whether through nostalgia, enjoyment, or aesthetic aspects, as well as how marketing strategies can be adjusted to maximize this effect. The research method uses content analysis of social media comments as research data. Three advertising samples were selected to represent the study. The results of the analysis show that the use of anime elements in advertisements for Pop Mie, McDonald's, and Pocari Sweat successfully attracted attention and created positive responses from consumers. The high quality of the animation and the use of anime visual styles created a strong emotional appeal, even influencing consumer behavior such as product preferences and interest in brands. In conclusion, the use of anime visual styles in Pop Mie, McDonald's, and Pocari Sweat advertisements demonstrates the success of a marketing strategy that utilizes the popularity of anime to attract attention and create emotional engagement. and influencing consumer behavior in Indonesia, as well as opening opportunities for more local anime production and strengthening positive brand image. This study aims to analyze the business development strategy of Siecraft, a creative that transforms waste into environmentally friendly and marketable products. The research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach through in-depth interviews, observation, documentation, and the distribution of questionnaires to 30 respondents. The analysis focuses on production, finance, marketing, and human resources, supported by a SWOT analysis. The results show that Siecraft’s main strengths lie in its unique products, use of waste materials, and social value. However, weaknesses remain in digital promotion and production management. The SWOT analysis places the business in Quadrant I (aggressive strategy). Development strategies are directed toward product innovation, improving digital promotion quality, and expanding partnerships to support business sustainability. However, despite these strengths, the business faces several challenges. The weaknesses identified include limited digital promotion efforts and inefficient production management. These areas require urgent attention to enhance overall business performance and market visibility. Furthermore, the SWOT analysis places Siecraft in Quadrant I, signifying an aggressive growth strategy. This suggests that the company should capitalize on its current strengths while addressing its weaknesses to achieve sustainable growth. The recommended development strategies include focusing on product innovation to keep up with market trends and customer demands. Improving the quality of digital marketing efforts is also crucial to expand its customer base and reach new markets. Additionally, expanding partnerships with other businesses and organizations can provide the necessary resources and networks to foster sustainability and long-term success. Overall, the business development strategy aims to strengthen Siecraft’s competitive edge and promote environmental consciousness while achieving financial success.

The war between India and Pakistan has had a devastating impact on the economies of both the countries directly involved and those indirectly affected. The economic impacts of this armed conflict include significant infrastructure damage, reduced production capacity, soaring inflation, rising unemployment, and reduced investment flows. This geopolitical instability has also fueled uncertainty in global financial markets, triggering a "flight to safety" phenomenon, a shift in capital and investment to countries or instruments perceived as safer, such as US government bonds or gold. For Indonesia, this situation has the potential to significantly disrupt national economic stability. One impact is a reduction in foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows, as investors tend to hold back or relocate their investments to more geopolitically stable countries. Furthermore, pressure on the rupiah exchange rate could increase due to global financial market volatility and a decline in international investor confidence. The conflict could also hamper Indonesia's export traffic, particularly to countries with close trade ties with India and Pakistan. Furthermore, these tensions could disrupt global supply chains, particularly for energy and food commodities, many of which pass through strategic trade routes. If the conflict drags on, the price of crude oil and other raw materials could potentially rise sharply, which in turn would increase domestic production costs. This would have a direct impact on inflation and public purchasing power. This situation further complicates the management of Indonesia's monetary and fiscal policies, which currently face significant challenges, such as the imminent maturities of large government debt and a still-widening state budget deficit. The government must take strategic steps to maintain domestic economic stability, strengthen foreign exchange reserves, and encourage export market diversification to reduce over-reliance on conflict-prone countries.

This study aims to evaluate the financial performance of PT Akasha Wira International Tbk during the period 2022 to 2024 using profitability ratio analysis. The ratios analyzed include Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), Gross Profit Margin (GPM), Operating Profit Margin (OPM), and Net Profit Margin (NPM). The data used is sourced from official financial statements published through the Indonesia Stock Exchange website. Based on the results of the analysis, the company's financial performance is generally relatively good and shows stability over the past three years. This is reflected in the consistency of the profitability ratio which is at a favorable level, indicating the effectiveness of the company in managing assets, its own capital, production costs, and operational activities. Further analysis shows that the Return on Assets and Return on Equity show a stable trend with a slight increase, which indicates efficiency in asset utilization and capital management. Gross Profit Margin and Operating Profit Margin also show positive trends, indicating efficiency in managing production costs and operational activities. Net Profit Margin, although slightly volatile, remains within a range that reflects good profitability. In addition, the results of this evaluation also indicate that the company has the ability to adapt to market changes and dynamic economic conditions. The ability to maintain profit margins in the midst of economic fluctuations shows the resilience of the business model and operational strategy applied. These findings provide an idea that PT Akasha Wira International Tbk has been able to maintain a healthy performance despite being in a competitive business environment. Thus, the results of this evaluation can be used as a basis for strategic considerations by management in preparing long-term financial plans and decision-making, as well as a reference for investors in assessing the company's prospects.

This study aims to comprehensively analyze the influence of capital, labor, raw materials, and production processes on the income of woven cloth artisans in Klungkung Regency, Bali. The woven cloth industry in this region holds significant historical and cultural value, yet faces challenges in increasing productivity and income. The study employed a quantitative approach with an associative method, combining data collection techniques through direct observation, structured interviews, and secondary data collection from relevant government agencies. The study population consisted of 120 artisan groups, with a sample of 92 groups determined using simple random sampling. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics to map the general conditions of the respondents, and path analysis using SPSS software to identify direct and indirect relationships between variables. The results indicate that capital, labor, and raw materials positively and significantly influence woven cloth production volume. Furthermore, capital, labor, raw materials, and production simultaneously have a significant direct influence on artisan income, with raw materials emerging as the most dominant factor. These findings confirm that the availability of quality raw materials, the quantity and skills of the workforce, and capital adequacy play a central role in improving production performance and artisan welfare. In addition to direct influences, this study also found an indirect effect of capital, labor, and raw materials on income through the mediation of production variables. This suggests that efforts to improve production factors can automatically strengthen income, both directly and through increased production output. The study's recommendations include the need for policies that facilitate access to capital, workforce training, and a sustainable supply of raw materials to support the sustainability of the woven fabric industry as a vital component of the local creative economy and Bali's cultural heritage.

The agricultural sector is one of the main pillars in the national economy because it makes a significant contribution to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), absorbs labor, and is the main livelihood for most Indonesians, especially in rural areas. Among various agricultural subsectors, vegetables have an important role as a commodity that not only meets the needs of household consumption, but also becomes a major source of income for farmers. However, vegetable farmers are often faced with serious problems that directly impact their well-being. One of the main problems is price instability. During the harvest, the abundance of production causes the price of vegetables to fall drastically so that it is not able to cover the capital costs that have been incurred. This is experienced by vegetable farmers in Ngablak District, Magelang Regency, where the selling price of vegetables at harvest time is very cheap, often even below production costs, so that farmers suffer big losses. Reflecting on these problems, this community service activity is present with the theme "we buy, we distribute." This concept is carried out by buying vegetables directly from local farmers at a more decent price than the market price during the harvest. The vegetables that have been purchased are then not resold for profit, but are distributed for free to people who really need them, especially residents in Kepanjen Hamlet, Trimulyo, Sleman. Thus, this activity provides dual benefits, namely helping farmers to continue to earn a decent income and supporting community food security through the distribution of vegetables for free. This program is also a form of social solidarity between farmers and the community, as well as a simple but real solution in dealing with the problem of fluctuations in the price of agricultural products.

This study aims to explore the strategic role of e-commerce in increasing the export of handicraft products by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia, with a case study on CV. Palm Craft in Kediri. In the context of globalization and digitalization, e-commerce is an important means for MSMEs to reach the international market, especially in the midst of the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic that limit conventional export activities. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The main focus of this study is how CV. Palem Craft utilizes various digital platforms such as social media (Instagram, Facebook), marketplaces (Tokopedia, Shopee), and global platforms (Amazon, Etsy) to expand market access, build product branding, and increase the selling value of local handicrafts. The results of the study show that the strategic use of e-commerce has helped companies overcome export barriers such as limited distribution networks, logistics constraints, and lack of international promotion. In addition, e-commerce also allows CVs. Palem Craft to build direct relationships with global consumers, get faster feedback, and make product adjustments according to market needs. This research also identifies supporting factors such as digital literacy, product quality, and production capacity as crucial aspects in the success of e-commerce strategies.  The implications of this study provide relevant insights for other MSMEs that want to develop exports through the use of digital technology. Continuous support from the government and related institutions is needed in terms of training, access to capital, and digital export facilitation so that Indonesian MSMEs can compete in the global market in a sustainable manner.

This study aims to analyze the influence of accounting knowledge, business capital, and business length on the success of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Tandes District, Surabaya City. The background of this research is based on the importance of financial management skills, sufficient capital availability, and business experience in supporting the sustainability and growth of MSMEs. This study uses a quantitative approach with primary data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to MSME actors who are registered and domiciled in Tandes District. The sample criteria include fostered MSME actors who have been running their businesses for at least three years and marketing their own products. The number of respondents who were successfully collected in this study was 105 people. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS software version 23.0. The results of the study show that the variables of accounting knowledge, business capital, and business duration simultaneously or partially have a positive and significant effect on the success of MSME businesses in Tandes District. Accounting knowledge helps business actors in managing finances and recording transactions systematically. Adequate business capital is an important factor in business development and increasing production capacity. Meanwhile, the length of the business reflects the accumulation of experience and practical knowledge that can improve managerial efficiency and effectiveness. Thus, these three variables have a strategic role in increasing the success of MSMEs. This finding provides an implication that MSME empowerment programs should be focused on improving accounting literacy, wider access to capital, and long-term business assistance. Local governments and related institutions can take these results into consideration in designing policies that support the sustainable growth of MSMEs.

Extension workers have been instrumental in encouraging farmers to adopt new technologies, aiming to improve productivity, income, social status, and climate resilience. This study investigates challenges in technology adoption and its impact on vegetable production, economic and social enhancement, and climate resilience in Svay Rieng province. Data from 302 agricultural cooperative members were analyzed using Pearson’s correlation to examine relationships and linear regression to predict factors influencing farmers' achievements. Results show that internal challenges (labor, capital, technical know-how) significantly influence success, followed by external challenges. Investments in hard technologies (e.g., net houses, drip irrigation) strongly correlated with achievements, while soft technologies (technical knowledge) had a lesser impact. Regression analysis identified internal challenges and adoption of hard technologies as key predictors, explaining 25% of overall performance, including 36%, 29%, and 25% of economic, social, and climate resilience improvements, respectively. For production, only internal challenges and hard technologies were determinants, predicting 30%. Addressing internal challenges and enhancing technology applications are critical to improving vegetable producers' success in the province.

 Gaten Hamlet, Sumberrejo Village, holds significant local economic potential through the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) initiative and the active participation of Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) mothers. This study aims to analyze in depth effective empowerment strategies in supporting economic strengthening in Gaten Hamlet, by integrating and prioritizing the value of mutual cooperation as the main pillar. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with MSME actors, PKK members and administrators, and community leaders, complemented by participatory observation and implementation of training. The results of the study indicate that the synergy of capacity building training programs, facilitation of access to capital and marketing, and strengthening community networks based on mutual cooperation have been proven to significantly increase MSME productivity and family economic independence. Mutual cooperation not only functions as a social glue, but also becomes a driving force for collaboration in various stages, from production, distribution, to promotion of local products. The implications of this study highlight the importance of developing policies that support community-based economic ecosystems and the sustainability of empowerment programs through active participation and community ownership.
