Background: Pre-operation is the initial stage to prepare the patient as much as possible, more than two-thirds of patients waiting for surgery experience anxiety because it is their first time undergoing spinal anesthesia surgery. As a result of the patient's intense preoperative anxiety, there is a possibility that the operation cannot be carried out. The way to overcome anxiety is through deep breathing relaxation techniques. Objective: To determine the effect of deep breathing relaxation on anxiety in preoperative patients. Research methods: This research uses quantitative research design using Quasy Experiment, namely an experimental design carried out without randomization. This research was conducted at PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital in the operating room in February 2024. This population consisted of 42 patients in one month with a research sample of 30 respondents. This research instrument uses the APAIS questionnaire. This research technique uses purposive sampling. Results: The data that can be generated when using the deep breathing relaxation technique is 30 respondents using the pre test-post test technique. During the pre-test, those experiencing moderate anxiety amounted to 40.0%, severe anxiety amounted to 40.0%, the most severe anxiety/panic amounted to 20.0%. At the time of the post test, those experiencing mild anxiety were 66.7%, and those experiencing moderate anxiety were 33.3%. Conclusion: When the observation was carried out, there was a decrease in the level of anxiety, so that the respondent's anxiety had reduced.

Hospital service quality can be seen from the professional appearance of hospital personnel, efficiency and effectiveness of services and patient satisfaction. Communication was very important for nurses in interacting with clines. Clines satisfaction is a level of patient feeling that arises as a result of health services performance obtained after patient compares it with expectation. clines satisfaction was determined by the overall service provided in patient or family complaints. The study was to determine the relationship between nurse communication and postoperative clines satisfaction at Medan Hospital. The research design used analytical survey method with a Cross-Sectional approach. The population in this study were postoperative patients totaling 477 respondents. The sampling used is purposive sampling, namely taking for a purpose by determining certain characteristics that are considered representative of the population, sampling is the slovin technique, totaling 83 respondents. The results of the analysis using the Chi-Square test showed that the significant probability value (Asymp.Sign) of nurse communication was 0.002 < sig value .05, this proves that there was a relationship between nurse communication and clines satisfaction at Medan Hospital. The conclusion was that statistically a relationship between nurse communication with postoperative clines at Medan Hospital. It is recommended for nurses to maintain communication therapeutic nurse to obtain quality health services for postoperative patients.

ABSTRACT. Sectio Caesarea (SC) is a common and widely performed operation on pregnant women and its prevalence is increasing every year. The incidence of cesarean section in Indonesia is around 22.8% of all deliveries. Spinal anesthesia for cesarean section is very beneficial because of the simplicity of the technique, fast onset, reduced systemic toxicity but has the risk of complications that often occur after anesthesia and surgery are pain, nausea and vomiting. Objective: To analyze the comparison of the incidence of postoperative nausea and vomiting (PON-V) between fasting and non-fasting in patients with caesarean section who underwent regional anesthesia. Research Methods: Experimental research with clinical trials and including quantitative research. It will be held in March 2021 at IBS RSUD Caruban, Madiun Regency. The sampling technique was probability sampling using consecutive sampling where the sample consisted of 30 SC surgery patients who were divided into two groups, namely 15 fasting and non-fasting patients with spinal anesthesia. Data analysis using Paired Sample T Test with SPSS 22.00 for windows. Result : Post operative nausea and vomiting occurred in both groups . The difference in the incidence of PON-V in both fasting and non-fasting groups in cesarean section patients, the T test (independent T Test) showed a p value of 0.380 (p value > 0.05). Conclusion: There is no difference in the comparison of PON-V between fasting and non-fasting patients in sectio cesarean surgery patients at Caruban Hospital, Madiun Regency in 2021.

Almost all surgeries cause pain, the pain that is felt is the result of the incision. The effects of pain that do not subside are myocardial ischemia, increased morbidity, and hopelessness. One intervention to relieve postoperative pain is Spiritual Emosional Freedom Technique (SEFT). The purpose of this case study is to describe the reduction in pain scale of postoperative patients in Nusa Indah Room TK.III 04.06.02 Bhakti Wira Tamtama Semarang Hospital after SEFT intervention. This type of research is descriptive using a case study approach. The subjects in this study were 2 postoperative patients with criteria of moderate to high pain. Analysis of pain measurements using the Numerical Scale Branch scale. The analysis showed that there was a decrease in pain scale after the intervention. On subject 1 the pain scale 7 (high pain) became the pain scale 4 (moderate pain) and subject 2 the pain scale 8 (high pain) became the pain scale 4 (moderate pain). Effective SEFT therapy is used to reduce postoperative pain in the room because it is easy and simple. Good therapy is applied by nurses in the room to reduce the scale of pain in postoperative patients.

Background : Early mobilization has a role in the healing process of postoperative patients. One of the nurse's roles in the recovery process is as an educator. Purpose :  of the study was to determine the effect of early mobilization counseling on knowledge of the implementation of early mobilization in postoperative patients at the BLUD RSUD H. Padjonga Daeng Ngalle, Takalar Regency. Methods: pre experimental design with a one group pre post test design with the sampling technique used is accidental sampling with a total of 34 respondents. Results: using the Wicoxon test, the calculated value was obtained with a value of = 0.000 <0.05. Conclusion: there is an effect of early mobilization counseling on knowledge of the implementation of early mobilization in postoperative patients at the BLUD RSUD H. PadjongaDaengNgalle, Takalar Regency.

Post-spinal anesthesia nausea and vomiting (PSANV) are common side effects that can affect patient comfort and recovery after surgery. This condition often disrupts the recovery process and may extend the post-operative care period. One non-pharmacological method that can help reduce nausea and vomiting is deep breathing techniques. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of deep breathing techniques in reducing the incidence of nausea and vomiting after spinal anesthesia. The method used in this study is a pre-test and post-test design, with an intervention consisting of deep breathing exercises for patients undergoing surgery with spinal anesthesia. A pre-test was conducted before the intervention to assess the incidence of nausea and vomiting in patients. After patients practiced deep breathing exercises for a certain period, a post-test was performed to evaluate changes in the frequency of nausea and vomiting post-operation. The results showed a significant reduction in the frequency of nausea and vomiting after patients practiced deep breathing techniques. This technique has proven to be a simple, safe, and effective method to enhance post-operative comfort. Therefore, the implementation of deep breathing techniques can be recommended as part of post-spinal anesthesia management in healthcare facilities to improve patient recovery quality.

Almost all surgeries cause pain, the pain that is felt is the result of the incision. One intervention to relieve postoperative pain is Self healing. The purpose of this case study is to describe the reduction in pain scale of postoperative patients in Cempaka Room Ungaran Regional Hospital after self-healing intervention. This type of research is descriptive using a case study approach. The subjects in this study were 2 postoperative patients with criteria of mild to moderate pain. Analysis of pain measurements using the Numerical Scalel Branch scale. The analysis showed that there was a decrease in pain scale after the intervention. On subject 1 the pain scale 3 (mild pain) became the pain scale 1 (mild pain) and subject 2 the pain scale 4 (moderate pain) became the pain scale 1 (mild pain). Effective self healing therapy is used to reduce postoperative pain in the room because it is easy and simple. Good therapy is applied by nurses in the room to reduce the scale of pain in postoperative patients.
