The development of information and communication technology (ICT) is an important demand in the world of education, especially at the Vocational High School (SMK) level which prepares students to enter the digital-based world of work. However, students in class X of SMKS Efata still show delays in mastering ICT which has an impact on the learning process and their competency readiness. This study aims to analyze the factors that cause students to delay in mastering ICT as well as identify strategic steps to improve their skills. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the limitations of technology facilities, the lack of experience of students using computer devices before entering vocational schools, and the low intensity of ICT learning practices are the dominant factors that affect the delay in mastering technology. In addition, the difference in students' backgrounds in digital literacy and the lack of assistance during the learning process also slow down the development of their abilities. Nevertheless, students have good motivation to learn and adapt to technology if they are given the support of the right learning facilities and strategies. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that improving facilities, strengthening practice-based learning methods, and intensive mentoring are needed to accelerate students' ICT mastery. This research is expected to be the basis for schools in formulating ICT learning policies that are more effective and in accordance with the needs of technological developments.

This study aims to analyze the transformation of the educational pattern at the Indonesian Naval Academy (AAL) from a four-year to a three-year system and its impact on graduate competencies and operational readiness. This educational system change responds to budget efficiency needs and accelerated officer formation filling, yet raises questions about the new system's ability to maintain the quality of officer education. The research employs a mixed methods approach with a concurrent embedded design, involving 250 respondents comprising graduates from both educational systems, AAL instructors, and unit commanders receiving graduates. Quantitative data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics (independent sample t-test and regression), while qualitative data were obtained through in-depth interviews, observations, and document studies analyzed using thematic analysis. Results indicate no significant difference in overall Grade Point Average (GPA) between the two groups (p=0.470), but significant differences in competency patterns emerged: four-year system graduates excelled in theoretical competencies (p=0.001), while three-year system graduates excelled in practical competencies (p=0.003). Operational readiness evaluation shows that four-year system graduates obtained higher scores (82.5) compared to three-year system graduates (78.3), with significant differences (p=0.012), particularly in strategic leadership and complex decision-making aspects. Qualitative analysis identified five major themes: high learning time pressure, orientation shift from comprehensive to pragmatic, gaps in character formation and corps values, concerns about theoretical understanding depth, and need for more intensive post-graduation mentoring programs. This study concludes that educational time compression successfully increased operational efficiency but involved trade-offs in learning depth and professional maturity. To optimize the three-year educational system, a comprehensive approach is required, including curriculum revision with integrated learning methods, utilization of modern learning technology, strengthening of leadership development programs, and development of continuous professional mentoring systems. The recommendations of this research are expected to provide input for AAL and the Indonesian Navy in refining the officer education system to produce officers who are not only technically competent but also mature in leadership and strong in character.

The application of food hygiene and sanitation principles is an important aspect in ensuring the quality of nutritional services in hospitals. Low compliance of kitchen staff in maintaining hygiene is often caused by a lack of supervision, motivation, and limited supporting facilities. This study aims to determine the effect of education on compliance with the application of food hygiene and sanitation and its contributing factors in the Nutrition Installation of Hospital X through an internship activity conducted in July–October 2025. The research method used a quasi-experimental model with a one-group pretest-posttest and a mixed methods approach. The research subjects were seven kitchen staff, with two of them being interviewed in depth via voice recording. Data collection was carried out through initial observations, compliance checklists, and recorded interviews at the pretest and posttest stages. Educational interventions were carried out through counseling, routine briefings, and mentoring in the six-step handwashing practice according to WHO guidelines. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive quantitative and thematic qualitative methods. The results showed an increase in staff compliance after being given education, seen from changes in behavior in washing hands properly, using personal protective equipment, and maintaining cleanliness of the work area. Based on pretest interview results, low compliance was caused by a lack of supervision due to the lack of accreditation, infrequent monitoring, the misperception that visibly clean hands were safe enough, and limited water supply due to the shared drain with the hospital laundry. Following the educational intervention, posttest results showed improved compliance compared to baseline.

This study aims to assess the effectiveness of the Jakpreneur program in reducing unemployment in South Jakarta. Jakpreneur is a strategic initiative launched by the Jakarta Provincial Government as a concrete effort to empower Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This program is designed with various forms of support, such as skills training, business mentoring, legal licensing facilitation, product marketing support, and easy access to capital. This aims to create an inclusive and sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem, especially amidst the complex challenges of the urban economy and the ongoing unemployment rate. However, in its implementation on the ground, the program's effectiveness still faces several obstacles. One of the main problems identified is the suboptimality of information technology-based training. The results of this study indicate that DT Peduli Jambi has not yet fully optimized the management of productive zakat, despite having a structured management system in place. Based on data analysis, several key factors were identified as obstacles to optimization. First, there is a lack of public trust in the institution, as reflected in the absence of significant growth in zakat collection over the past three years. This condition highlights the need for more effective communication and transparency strategies. Second, administrative challenges remain, such as a record-keeping system that is not yet fully integrated digitally and limited human resources with expertise in managing productive zakat. Third, resistance to change among beneficiaries persists, with approximately 30% refusing to adopt modern business management methods offered by the program. Fourth, there is a high dependency on assistance, with 40% of beneficiaries still heavily reliant on institutional mentoring. Fifth, participation in training programs remains low, with an average attendance rate of only 65%. Nevertheless, overall the program is categorized as “fairly successful” with an achievement score of 70 out of 100. This indicates that productive zakat holds great potential to promote economic empowerment of the community but has not yet been maximized due to structural and cultural barriers. Therefore, improvements are needed in transparency, capacity building of human resources, as well as persuasive and participatory approaches for beneficiaries, so that the goal of economic empowerment through productive zakat can be more effectively realized.

This study aims to analyze the development process of a creative economy based on bead waste and the use of digital platforms as a marketing medium to increase product competitiveness. The background of the study is based on the phenomenon of increasing volumes of waste that have not been optimally managed and the low skills of business actors in utilizing digital technology. The research method used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, documentation, and literature studies, with informants consisting of business actors, community leaders, representatives of relevant agencies, and consumers. The results of the study indicate that processing waste into beads not only reduces environmental impacts but also opens up creative business opportunities with high economic value. The use of digital platforms has proven effective in expanding market reach, improving branding, and driving sales, although there are still obstacles in the skills of digital entrepreneurs. This study recommends strengthening digital marketing capacity and ongoing mentoring for creative waste-based entrepreneurs to achieve economic and environmental sustainability. In addition, synergy between business actors, the government, and local communities is a crucial factor in supporting the development of a waste-based creative economy. The involvement of local governments through entrepreneurship training and facilitating access to technology is essential to address the challenge of limited digital capabilities of entrepreneurs. Local communities also play a role in maintaining sustainable production and encouraging innovation in bead designs based on local culture to add value and attract market share. This collaboration can create a conducive ecosystem for the growth of creative small and medium enterprises (SMEs), while strengthening local identity and increasing product competitiveness in national and global markets. Thus, developing a waste-based creative economy and utilizing digital marketing are relevant innovative strategies in addressing current economic and environmental challenges.
