Unexpected downtime of a 2 kg/hour coffee grinder is crucial in cafe operations, thus less guaranteeing the availability of the grinder. The purpose of component replacement and repair planning is to obtain a prediction of the maintenance and repair schedule and costs in the 2026 period. The component replacement planning method includes collecting previous maintenance and repair data, applying the inspection-replace-repair-overhaul (IRRO) method, assessing component conditions, predicting component life, predicting technician costs, predicting supporting work equipment and supporting materials to be used in maintenance, predicting the time to replace spare parts or reinstall components after repair, estimating maintenance and repair costs for the 2026 period, and calculating the ratio of maintenance costs to profits. The results of component replacement and repair planning obtained maintenance costs for the 2026 period are IDR 2,350,000, - with an estimated coffee grinder rental rate of IDR 25,000/hour which has the potential to be rented for 1440 hours/year, and the ratio of maintenance costs to profits is 6.5% which implies that the coffee grinder with a capacity of 2 kg / hour is still suitable for use for the next few years and still has the opportunity to make a profit.

In this paper, we study the use of linear programming for the performance enhancement of fortified queues systems in which resources are unreliable in terms of variation and a case study on Marjan Hospital is considered. The quality management maturity level in the hospital was measured by an integrated inspection tool; senior management was found to be concerned for quality of service improvement and implementation of modern technology systems. Strengths and weaknesses in that activity are shown, and it is evidenced the need of boosting the quality of service activities and promoting the coordination between the different areas. From the findings, the study recommends the use of linear programming technique,Orgers should as well enhance proper training and development and Acquisition of modern day technology for effective performance improvement and quality of service. The study demonstrates that the adoption of linear programming techniques could be a viable solution to optimize resource allocation and enhance performance in the hospital's queue systems. Additionally, the research underscores the importance of investing in staff training and development programs, as well as the acquisition of state-of-the-art technology, to further improve service delivery and ensure sustainable quality improvement in the long term.

The problem faced is the decline in the performance of a 650 liter/minute centrifugal pump due to wear on components, especially the impeller, rolling bearings, and mechanical seals in supplying process water and clean water in industrial production systems. The planning objective is to obtain a maintenance schedule for a 650 liter/minute centrifugal pump for the operational period of 2026 and the ratio between maintenance costs and profits generated by the machine. The maintenance planning method includes collecting maintenance data from previous maintenance periods, reviewing centrifugal pump specifications, applying the inspection, replace, repair, and overhaul (IRRO) approach, estimating the age and price of components that are expected to be damaged, estimating the cost and duration of dismantling and installing components that have been repaired in accordance with the provisions of the requirements for usable components or replacement parts, scheduling maintenance and repairs, estimating maintenance and repair costs for the 2026 period, and determining the ratio of maintenance costs to profits. The planning results are in the form of a maintenance schedule for the 2026 period worth IDR 4,290,000,-, a maintenance cost to profit ratio of 7.44% and the implications indicate that the machine is still suitable for use and prospective for operations in the next few years.

This study used a qualitative approach with a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) as the data collection technique. This study examined the institutional factors causing long dwelling times at Tanjung Emas Port and mitigation efforts. The analysis revealed that the main root of the problem lies in the lengthy administrative and goods inspection (customs) processes, particularly in the red, yellow, and green inspection lanes. Obstacles include the lack of data integration (such as PIB and SPPB dates) between the Semarang Container Terminal (TPKS) and Customs, as well as incomplete documents by service users. A significant impact was felt on imports, where dwelling times were longer due to complicated quarantine and customs inspections, while exports were relatively unaffected.

The problem with the coconut grater machine is that the machine has decreased performance after being used for several years, especially in the mechanical components (electric motor, V belt, Pulley, grater knife, hopper) and its electricity. The purpose of maintenance and repair planning is to obtain costs, maintenance and repair schedules for the period 2026, and the ratio of maintenance costs to profit. The maintenance and repair planning method includes collecting previous maintenance data, applying the inspection-replace-repair-overhaul (IRRO) method, evaluating component conditions, predicting component lifespan, predicting labor costs, predicting supporting equipment that will be used in maintenance, predicting the time to replace spare parts or reinstall repaired components, estimating maintenance and repair costs for the 2026 period, and calculating the maintenance cost to profit ratio. The results of maintenance and repair planning obtained maintenance costs for the 2026 period were IDR 957,000 with an estimated coconut grater machine rental rate of IDR 10,000/hour which has the potential to be rented for 900 hours/year, and the maintenance cost to profit ratio was 10.6% which implies that the coconut grater machine with a capacity of 15 kg/hour is still prospective and feasible to use for the next few years.

This community service program implements a Smart Trash Monitoring Sistem (STMS) based on the Internet of Things (IoT) in Graha Panyindangan Estate, Indramayu. The system utilizes ultrasonic sensors and ESP32 to detect waste levels and sends real-time data to a dashboard accessible by residents and cleaning staff. The results of implementing STMS show improved efficiency in waste management, with waste collection being carried out on time based on accurate, real-time data. Household waste management remains a critical challenge in creating clean and sustainable residential environments. Manual monitoring methods often lead to delayed waste collection, overflowing bins, and operational inefficiency. This community engagement program implements an Internet of Things (IoT)-based Smart Trash Monitoring SIstem (STMS) at Graha Panyindangan Estate, Indramayu. The sIstem utilizes ultrasonic sensors and ESP32 microcontrollers to detect the fill level of household waste containers and transmit data in real time to a user-accessible dashboard. The results demonstrate that the STMS provides accurate waste-level information, reduces manual inspections, enhances collection efficiency, and fosters data-driven behavior among residents. Social changes also emerged, including improved environmental awareness, new social norms, and the emergence of local leaders supporting sIstem sustainability. This program contributes to the realization of smart living in modern residential communities, ensuring better waste management, cleaner environments, and more sustainable practices for future generations. It also provides valuable insights into the role of technology in addressing environmental issues at the community level.

This study aims to examine the implementation of audit procedures on accounts payable at PT XYZ by KAP Ramli & Rekan, with a focus on compliance with Auditing Standards and effectiveness in detecting material misstatements. Accounts payable are a key component of financial statements representing the company’s obligations to suppliers, requiring accurate presentation for assessing liquidity and capital structure. The study applies a descriptive qualitative method, collecting primary data through interviews with audit staff at KAP Ramli & Rekan and secondary data from relevant literature. The findings show that the audit procedures comply with professional standards, covering comprehensive stages including engagement acceptance, audit planning, risk and materiality assessment, and substantive testing. The planning process incorporates the COSO framework for evaluating internal control, establishes audit objectives based on the five management assertions, and utilizes ATLAS software and Microsoft Excel. KAP Ramli & Rekan apply control testing and substantive procedures, including external confirmations, inspection of supporting documents, review of aging payables, and subsequent payment testing. Risk assessment indicates low inherent and control risks, while detection risk is mitigated through substantive procedures. Overall Materiality is set at 60% of revenue and profit before tax, Performance Materiality at 3% of Overall Materiality, and Threshold Materiality at 3% of Performance Materiality. The study concludes that the audit procedures implemented by KAP Ramli & Rekan align with applicable Auditing Standards and are effective in addressing audit risks related to accounts payable. The implications highlight the importance of enhancing audit quality practices, particularly the effectiveness of planning and internal control evaluation in accounts payable audits.

Frequent damage to the grinding disc components and the transmission system of the 15 kg/hour rice flour grinder is a problem faced. The purpose of scheduling component maintenance and repairs is to obtain predictions of maintenance and repair schedules and costs for the period 2026. The component maintenance and repair scheduling method includes examining previous period maintenance and repair data, applying the inspection-replace-repair-overhaul (IRRO) method, assessing component conditions, estimating component life, estimating technician costs, estimating supporting work equipment and supporting materials to be used in maintenance, estimating the time for replacing spare parts or reinstalling components after repair, estimating maintenance and repair costs in 2026, and calculating the maintenance cost to profit ratio. The results of component maintenance and repair scheduling show that the maintenance cost in 2026 is Rp 1,370,000,- with an estimated annual profit potential of Rp 21,600,000, and the maintenance cost to profit ratio is 6.3%, which implies that the 15 kg/hour rice flour grinder is still quite prospective and feasible to use for the next few years.

Progressive wear on drive belt components, brake lining thickness, double lining bowl and other components of continuously variable transmission (CVT) on 160 cm3 automatic motorcycles are the problems faced. The purpose of component replacement planning is to obtain maintenance costs in 2026 and maintenance to profit ratio. The component replacement planning method includes collecting previous maintenance data, applying the inspection-replace-repair-overhaul (IRRO) method, evaluating component conditions, predicting component lifespan, predicting labor costs, predicting supporting equipment and supporting materials to be used in maintenance, predicting spare part replacement time, predicting maintenance costs in 2026, and calculating the maintenance cost to profit ratio. The results of component replacement planning obtained maintenance costs in 2026 are IDR 8.151.667,- with an estimated rental rate for Automatic Motorcycles of IDR 12,500/hour which has the potential to be rented for 3960 hours/year, and the ratio of maintenance costs to profits is 16.4% which implies that the 160 cm3 Automatic Motorcycle which was first used in 2021 is still prospective to generate profits and is suitable for use in the coming years.

The problem with the sugarcane press machine is a decrease in performance in sugarcane pressing because it has been used since 2020 with an initial price of IDR 3,000,000, which is predicted to be IDR 5,500,000 in 2025 which occurs in the main components of the roler mill, V-belt, and bearings. The purpose of scheduling replacements and repairs is to obtain a schedule, estimated maintenance costs, and the ratio of replacement and repair costs to the profit of renting a sugarcane press for the period 2026. The scheduling method includes collecting data on the use of the sugarcane press machine, a list of replacements for 5 components for roler mills, V-belts, bearings, gasoline motor tanks, and engine frames from 34 components, component prices, estimated labor costs, equipment costs, supporting material costs, application of the inspection, replace, repair, and overhaul (IRRO) method, scheduling replacements and repairs, and calculating the ratio of replacement costs to profits. The results of the replacement and repair scheduling are in the form of maintenance costs of IDR 958,000, with a rate of IDR 10,000/hour for 588 hours/year, resulting in a profit of IDR 5,880,000, and a ratio of maintenance and repair costs to profit of 0.16%.

The replacement scheduling method includes collecting previous period maintenance data, applying the inspection-replace-repair-overhaul (IRRO) method, evaluating component working conditions, predicting component life, predicting repairman costs, predicting supporting equipment that will be used in maintenance, predicting the time to replace spare parts or reinstall components after repair, estimating maintenance and repair costs in 2026, and calculating the ratio of maintenance costs to profits. The results of the replacement scheduling show that the maintenance costs in 2026 are IDR 2,530,000 with an estimated rental rate for the meatball dough grinder of IDR 10,000/kg which has the potential to be rented for 1300 hours/year, and the ratio of maintenance costs to profits is 4.9% which implies that the meatball dough grinder with a capacity of 5 kg/hour still has the potential to sell well and is suitable for use in the coming years.

Cervical cancer remains a major public health problem and is one of the leading causes of cancer-related mortality among women in Indonesia. Early detection through Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid (VIA) is an effective and feasible screening method at the primary health care level. However, the coverage of VIA screening among women of reproductive age (WRA) remains low. Knowledge is considered an important predisposing factor that may influence women’s motivation to undergo VIA screening. This study aimed to analyze the association between cervical cancer knowledge and motivation to undergo VIA screening among women of reproductive age. This study employed a quantitative analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 105 women of reproductive age were recruited using consecutive sampling at the Payangan Community Health Center, Gianyar Regency, Indonesia. Data were collected using validated and reliable structured questionnaires measuring cervical cancer knowledge and motivation to undergo VIA screening. Univariate analysis was performed to describe respondent characteristics, while bivariate analysis using the chi-square test was applied to examine the association between knowledge and motivation at a significance level of 5%. The results showed that 61.9% of respondents had good knowledge of cervical cancer, while 52.4% demonstrated low motivation to undergo VIA screening. A statistically significant association was found between cervical cancer knowledge and motivation to undergo VIA screening (p = 0.043). Women with higher levels of knowledge tended to have greater motivation to participate in VIA screening. In conclusion, cervical cancer knowledge is significantly associated with motivation to undergo VIA screening among women of reproductive age. These findings suggest that strengthening health education interventions at primary health care facilities is essential to enhance motivation and increase participation in early cervical cancer detection programs.

The Field Work Practice (PKN) carried out at PT MK Prima Indonesia focused on the implementation of periodic maintenance practices for the premoulding hydraulic press machine as an effort to maintain machine performance and operational lifespan. The main activities included identifying critical components such as the hydraulic system, valves, pressure hoses, and oil filters; conducting direct observation of common disruptions; and performing daily maintenance checklists that covered pressure monitoring, operating temperature, leakage detection, machine cleanliness, and lubrication conditions. Comprehensive cleaning procedures, condition-based filter replacement, and functional testing were also conducted to ensure reliability and safety in the production process. The implementation methods involved participatory observation, interviews with technicians regarding common failure patterns, visual and functional inspections, as well as the use of structured checklists supported by inspection documentation. The results indicate a significant decrease in the frequency of disturbances caused by leaks and oil contamination, improved compliance with routine inspection procedures, and enhanced machine readiness during operations. The introduction of structured documentation and simple technical training further improved technicians’ ability to detect early signs of abnormalities in the hydraulic system. As a recommendation, the company is advised to strengthen the use of digital recording systems, adjust filter replacement intervals based on actual machine conditions, and implement regular training programs focusing on contamination control and predictive maintenance.

Maritime safety is a fundamental aspect of the sea transportation system and plays a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of trade, tourism, and community mobility between islands. Ensuring safety is not only dependent on the technical condition of vessels but also on the effectiveness of supervision and operational management at ports. This study aims to analyze the influence of ship traffic, ship document inspection, and vessel seaworthiness on maritime safety at Tanjungpinang Port. The research employed a quantitative approach, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to port officers, ship captains, and crew members, as well as field observations to strengthen empirical findings. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS software through validity tests, reliability tests, and multiple linear regression analysis to determine the relationship and contribution of each variable. The results indicate that all three variables ship traffic, document inspection, and vessel seaworthiness have a positive and significant influence on maritime safety. These findings suggest that proper ship traffic management, orderly administrative inspections, and ensuring that vessels are seaworthy play essential roles in reducing the risk of accidents at sea. This study provides practical implications for port authorities and the Ministry of Transportation, particularly in strengthening supervision systems, improving inspection quality, and enhancing maritime safety management in the Riau Archipelago region, especially at Tanjungpinang Port

Logistics and Supply Chain Insights 2025 Indonesian Maritime Researchers and Lecturers

The rapid development and population growth in Bekasi Regency, Indonesia, have resulted in increasing traffic density and a corresponding rise in road traffic accidents (RTA), particularly along the critical 28 km Kalimalang Inspection Highway, locally known as "Jalur Tengkorak." This study aims to analyze the simultaneous and partial influence of Vehicle Factors (X1), Human Factors (X2), and Road Physical Condition Factors (X3) on RTA (Y). A quantitative descriptive approach utilizing Multiple Linear Regression (MLR) was employed, based on primary data collected through questionnaires from 100 motorcycle riders and secondary data from Polresta Bekasi (2022). The findings confirm that all three variables significantly and positively influence RTA, resulting in the model \hat{Y} = 2.218 + 0.302 X1 + 0.161 X2 + 0.289 X3 + \mu. The adjusted coefficient of determination (R^2) is 0.514, indicating that 51.4\% of RTA variation is explained by these factors. Crucially, the Road Physical Condition Factor (X3) emerged as the strongest predictor (t=4.429, \beta=0.385), surpassing the traditional dominance of human error. This key finding suggests that mitigation strategies must prioritize urgent infrastructure repair addressing potholes, road waves, and insufficient markings to significantly reduce accident frequency in this corridor.

The Sea Certificate (Surat Laut/SL) is a crucial maritime legal document, serving as proof of a ship's nationality and its seaworthiness status for sailing, making it a mandatory requirement in every clearance in and clearance out process. This research aims to comprehensively identify and analyze the procedure for the endorsement (validation) extension of the Sea Certificate for the MV. Eastern Fair, carried out by PT. Multi Jaya Samudera as the ship agent in Belawan. The research method utilized is field research, conducted through land practice (PRADA), interviews, and documentation study. The findings indicate that the endorsement extension procedure is executed through a strict series of stages, starting from the preparation of the ship's technical documents to the official submission to relevant agencies such as the Harbor Master (Syahbandar) and the Transportation Agency Office. The ship agent plays a vital role as the liaison and executor, responsible for ensuring the completeness and validity of all administrative requirements within the specified timeframe. Although the procedure is standardized, common constraints include delays from related parties, both in physical inspection and administrative completion at government institutions, which can potentially disrupt the vessel’s sailing schedule. This study concludes that rigorous supervision and effective coordination among the agent, ship owner, and port authorities are key to maintaining regulatory compliance and the operational smooth running of the MV. This research analyzes the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (K3/OSH) in the automation project of the Vacuum Pan machine at a sugar factory in Indonesia. The Vacuum Pan machine automation project poses high potential hazards due to its involvement with electrical systems, high-pressure pipes, and the installation of electrical and automatic control systems. The research methods used were daily direct observation in the field and interviews with the factory's safety (EHS) personnel, project workers, and interns for one month, from July 7 to August 8, 2025. The results show that K3 planning, such as the availability of HIRADC documents, SOPs, Safety Plans, and K3 facilities (APAR, evacuation routes, safety signs), has been well-implemented and adheres to applicable standards. K3 supervision activities include Safety Inspection (routine twice a week), Safety Patrol (daily and spontaneous), and Safety Talk or Toolbox Meeting (routine every Wednesday). However, the aspect requiring improvement is worker discipline, particularly in the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), which were recorded at compliance frequencies of 65% and 60%, respectively. Workers' response to hazardous situations was also found to be less responsive (50%). In conclusion, while K3 planning and facilities are adequate, the overall K3 implementation needs to be optimized through increased supervision and the establishment of a disciplined culture regarding PPE and SOPs.
