This study analyzes the strategic role of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in managing Indochinese refugees namely from Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos on Galang Island during the period 1979–1996. The “boat people” crisis at that time required a multisectoral response that was not only emergency-based but also sustainable, linking Indonesia’s transit policies with applicable international protection standards. Using a literature review method of international journal articles and program technical documents, this study finds that NGOs performed crucial functions beyond mere logistical assistance, particularly through structured educational planning such as the Overseas Refugee Training Program (ORTP). Recent literature indicates that NGO consortia such as SCF and EIL, along with faith-based organizations such as JRS, YCK, and ICMC, played a significant role in fostering refugee self-reliance through cultural orientation curricula and work simulation programs (Work Orientation). Despite various structural challenges and resource limitations, the experience on Galang Island demonstrates the effectiveness of partnerships between NGOs and the government in supporting adaptive and sustainable regional humanitarian diplomacy.

Adolescence is a period of change or transition from childhood to adulthood, encompassing biological, psychological, and social changes. Adolescent girls experience menstruation every month, which puts them at risk of anemia, compounded by poor dietary habits and the failure to consume iron tablets. Rapid adolescent growth is linked to nutritional fulfillment or adolescent consumption of nutrients, one of which is iron consumption. Insufficient iron consumption can lead to anemia in adolescents. Strategies to address anemia in adolescent girls include improving dietary intake and providing iron tablet supplementation. Changing dietary patterns is an important long-term strategy, but cannot be expected to be successful quickly. Anemia is a global health problem, especially in developing countries, where an estimated 30% of the world's population suffers from anemia. Adolescent girls are ten times more likely to suffer from anemia than boys. Efforts to prevent anemia in adolescents through iron tablet supplementation are a strategic, specific intervention to prepare healthy mothers-to-be. The aim was to determine the effect of iron (Fe) tablet administration on increasing Hb levels in adolescent girls with mild anemia. This study was quantitative, with an experimental design. The population in this study were 55 young women at the Ibu Health Center in West Halmahera Regency. A purposive sample of 30 samples was taken. Data collection in this study was carried out by examining Hb levels before and after administering iron tablets 4 times in a row for 4 weeks. The results of the study were that there was no significant difference between Hb levels before and after administering iron tablets in young women at the Ibu Health Center in West Halmahera Regency. The average Hb level before administering iron tablets was 11.5 g/dL, and after administering iron tablets was 12 g/dL. The results of the paired t-test showed a difference before and after administering iron tablets (p value = 0.001), so the test has an effect on administering iron tablets (Fe) on increasing Hb levels in young women with mild anemia in the Ibu Health Center in West Halmahera Regency.

Catechesis is a process of faith formation that aims to help the faithful, especially Catholic youth, to know, internalize, and live out the Christian faith in their daily lives. In the digital era, youth participation in ecclesial life tends to decline, as indicated by low involvement in Church activities. This condition is influenced by various factors, such as academic and work commitments, as well as the dominance of digital culture, which is often more appealing to young people than spiritual activities. This study aims to analyze the role of catechesis in increasing the participation of Catholic youth in the digital era and to examine the relevance of retreats and recollections as contextual forms of catechesis. The research employs a qualitative approach using a literature study method, supported by observations of ecclesial life at the station level. The findings indicate that catechesis that is primarily informative is less effective in addressing the needs of young people, who seek a more personal and participatory faith experience. In this regard, retreats and recollections have the potential to serve as forms of catechesis that deepen faith experiences and encourage active participation in the life of the Church.

Patient safety culture is an essential component in improving the quality of healthcare services and preventing medical errors in hospitals. However, the implementation of patient safety culture is often influenced by several organizational and individual factors, including situational awareness, availability of hospital infrastructure, and the balance between effort and rewards experienced by healthcare workers. This study aims to analyze the influence of situational awareness and hospital infrastructure on patient safety culture, with effort–reward imbalance acting as a mediating variable. The research was conducted at RSIA Tiara and involved healthcare workers as respondents. A quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design was applied in this study. Data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to healthcare professionals and analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that situational awareness has a significant positive effect on effort–reward imbalance and patient safety culture. Hospital infrastructure also significantly influences effort–reward imbalance and patient safety culture. Furthermore, effort–reward imbalance significantly affects patient safety culture and mediates the relationship between situational awareness, hospital infrastructure, and patient safety culture. These findings indicate that improving healthcare workers’ situational awareness and ensuring adequate hospital infrastructure can help reduce work imbalance and strengthen patient safety culture. In conclusion, hospital management should prioritize training programs to enhance situational awareness, improve supporting facilities, and implement fair reward systems to promote a sustainable and positive patient safety culture in healthcare organizations.

The goal of this thesis is to increase awareness and give victims a better understanding of the causes of bullying and coping mechanisms by analysing the causes, effects, and efficacy of current anti-bullying interventions at Cendekia Harapan School in Jimbaran, Bali. To strengthen anti-bullying initiatives, it also assesses current solutions and makes culturally appropriate suggestions. Students completed open-ended surveys as part of a qualitative research design to learn more about their individual experiences, opinions, and the success of ongoing programs. To find patterns in bullying behaviours and their impacts, thematic analysis was used. The results showed that bullying is frequently caused by insecurity, a desire for power, and a need to fit in. Bullying victims often experience emotional distress, mental health conditions like anxiety and depression, and academic decline. According to the study, bullying can be influenced by the school environment. While students believe that current initiatives are effective, they also recommend additional interventions like workshops that foster empathy and greater parental involvement. These findings provide useful recommendations for improving school-based anti-bullying initiatives and corroborate theories put forth by Olweus and Adler.
