The rapid development of coffee shop businesses in Indonesia has intensified competition among business actors, requiring companies to implement effective marketing strategies to maintain customer loyalty and encourage repeat purchases. In this context, brand image and Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM) are considered important factors that influence consumer perceptions and purchasing behavior. A positive brand image can create favorable impressions in the minds of consumers, while Electronic Word of Mouth through digital platforms allows customers to share experiences and opinions about products or services with a wider audience. This study aims to analyze the effect of brand image and Electronic Word of Mouth on Repurchase Decision with Customer Satisfaction as an Intervening variable. The research was conducted on consumers of Ashbab Coffee who had previously purchased its products. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to respondents who met the research criteria. The collected data were then analyzed using statistical analysis techniques to determine the relationship between the variables studied. The results of the study indicate that brand image and Electronic Word of Mouth have a positive and significant influence on Customer Satisfaction and Repurchase Decision. In addition, Customer Satisfaction also acts as a mediating variable that strengthens the relationship between brand image, Electronic Word of Mouth, and Repurchase Decision. These findings suggest that maintaining a positive brand image and encouraging positive Electronic Word of Mouth can increase Customer Satisfaction and encourage consumers to make repeat purchases.

This study aims to analyze the legal regulation of joint ventures in Indonesia as a form of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) implemented through Limited Liability Companies based on Law Number 25 of 2007 concerning Investment, Law Number 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies, and the Indonesian Civil Code. The research employs a normative legal method with a library research approach to examine legal provisions and concepts related to cooperation between foreign investors and domestic parties. The findings indicate the existence of structural imbalances between the parties, where foreign investors possess advantages in capital, technology, business experience, and access to information, resulting in asymmetrical bargaining power. This condition may lead to domination in decision-making, information gaps, and potential exploitation of domestic parties. Furthermore, existing legal protection is considered insufficient to fully implement the principle of equitable bargaining. Therefore, this study proposes a normative reconstruction through the application of principles of balance of power, good faith, transparency, and proportionality in joint venture agreements. The study also recommends preventive supervision through mandatory due diligence by the Financial Services Authority and the Investment Coordinating Board, including the standardization of contractual clauses and disclosure obligations, in order to create fair, sustainable joint venture relationships that protect national interests.

This study aims to analyze the internationalization strategy of SMEs through the integration of SWOT and PESTEL analysis, using a case study of PT Mujnah Kemiri Lombok. SMEs play an important role in the national economy; however, in the process of expanding into international markets, they face various challenges from both internal and external factors that need to be comprehensively identified. Therefore, a strategic analysis is required to understand the factors influencing the success of internationalization. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation related to the export activities of PT Mujnah Kemiri Lombok. The development of MSMEs in the traditional food sector requires business actors to increase production capacity. MSME Gethuk Lindri Niki Eco plans to build a larger facility to meet increasing demand. However, the layout planning is still based on rough drawings and experience, which can lead to inefficient material movement. This study aims to provide an overview of recommendations for a more efficient production facility layout using the CRAFT method. The research method involves collecting data on production processes, departmental areas, and material movement frequency. Moreover, an Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) is compiled to identify the close relationships among departments. The results of the analysis are visualized with a Block Plan. Furthermore, the layout is optimized using the CRAFT method. The results show that the recommended layout reduces the total material movement distance from 60.96 meters to 58.19 meters or a reduction of 4.53%. In addition, material handling costs also decreased from Rp. 780.64 to Rp. 766.19 or a savings of 1.85%. Thus, the application of the CRAFT method resulted in a more efficient production layout at the Gethuk Lindri Niki Eco MSME.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in Indonesia's economy but face significant challenges in maintaining consistent and sustainable performance amidst changing market dynamics. This study aims to explore how self-efficacy and entrepreneurial motivation influence MSME performance in Malang City using an exploratory phenomenological qualitative approach. Twelve informants with at least two years of business experience and active operations were selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, analyzed using an inductive approach, and processed until data saturation was reached. The study found that MSME actors' self-efficacy is shaped by accumulated real experiences, including both successes and failures, which contribute to meaningful learning. Entrepreneurial motivation rooted in personal values was found to be stronger and more enduring than extrinsic motivation. The study identified a cyclical interaction between self-efficacy and motivation, reinforcing each other in fostering adaptive entrepreneurial behavior. Additionally, external factors such as family support, entrepreneurial communities, and government programs play a significant role in sustaining these psychological factors. This research contributes to entrepreneurship literature and offers practical recommendations for stakeholders to design more holistic MSME empowerment programs with tangible impact.

Phishing is a form of cybercrime that has experienced a significant increase in frequency within Indonesia. This fraudulent practice aims to deceive victims into surrendering personal data or sensitive financial information by impersonating trusted institutions. Such crimes result in substantial losses for both individuals and the business sector, particularly concerning personal data protection and digital transaction security. This research aims to analyze the legal regulations and the role of supervisory institutions in addressing phishing threats in Indonesia using a normative legal research method. The legal analysis encompasses the implementation of the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE), specifically Article 28, paragraph (1), and the Personal Data Protection Law (UU No. 27 of 2022), which serves as the primary foundation for privacy rights. Furthermore, this study examines the Consumer Protection Law and the Indonesian Criminal Code (KUHP) as enforcement instruments. The strategic roles of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and Bank Indonesia (BI) are also discussed in the context of risk mitigation within the financial sector. The findings indicate that law enforcement effectiveness is still hindered by low digital literacy, limited forensic technology infrastructure, and jurisdictional challenges in tracking cross-border perpetrators. Consequently, a synergy between regulatory strengthening, international collaboration, and massive public education is required to comprehensively suppress these cybercriminal activities.

This study aims to analyze the level of financial literacy and examine its influence on the household welfare of vegetable farmers. Agricultural households, particularly smallholder vegetable farmers, frequently experience economic vulnerability due to several structural challenges such as unstable agricultural income, seasonal production patterns, fluctuating market prices, limited access to formal financial services, and inadequate financial management skills. These conditions often make farm households more susceptible to economic shocks, including crop failure, input price increases, or sudden market price declines. In this context, financial literacy becomes an essential capability that enables farmers to manage their financial resources more effectively. This research employed a quantitative research design using a survey approach. The study involved 120 vegetable farmers selected as respondents from major vegetable-producing areas. Data were collected through structured questionnaires designed to measure farmers’ financial literacy levels and household welfare conditions. Financial literacy was assessed through indicators such as financial knowledge, financial behavior, and financial attitudes, while household welfare was evaluated based on indicators including consumption stability, education and health expenditures, savings capacity, and overall economic resilience. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics to describe the characteristics and financial literacy levels of respondents, and multiple linear regression analysis to examine the relationship between financial literacy and household welfare. The results of this study highlight the importance of strengthening financial education programs targeted at agricultural communities. Improving financial literacy among vegetable farmers can contribute not only to better household financial management but also to broader rural economic development. Therefore, financial education initiatives should be integrated into agricultural extension programs, farmer group activities, and local government development strategies. Such initiatives may include training in household financial planning, simple bookkeeping for farm businesses, savings management, and responsible credit use. By enhancing farmers’ financial capabilities, these programs can help improve household welfare, strengthen rural economic resilience, and support the long-term sustainability of the agricultural sector.

The Indonesian hospitality industry is currently facing a post-pandemic "profitability paradox," a phenomenon where increased occupancy rates do not guarantee a proportional increase in net profit margins due to persistent operational cost inflation. This study aims to evaluate operational cost efficiency strategies and their impact on profitability across three star-rated hotels with contrasting locational and market characteristics: @Hom Hotel Kudus (Central Java), Grand Verona Samarinda (East Kalimantan), and FUGO Hotel Banjarmasin (South Kalimantan). This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach with a comparative multiple-case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with top management, participant observation, and financial document analysis. The results reveal that geographical characteristics and market segments are the primary determinants in selecting efficiency strategies. (1) Hom Hotel Kudus, located in a secondary industrial area, implements Lean Operations strategies through workforce multi-skilling to address market price sensitivity. (2) Grand Verona Samarinda, in the East Kalimantan business hub, focuses on Supply Chain Engineering by localizing raw materials to mitigate high logistical costs. (3) FUGO Hotel Banjarmasin, in the lifestyle segment, adopts Technology-Driven Efficiency to suppress utility costs without degrading the guest experience. The study concludes that sustainable profitability is achieved not through aggressive cost-cutting, but through strategic cost management adaptive to local contexts. These findings provide a new managerial framework for the hospitality industry to shift from a revenue-centric orientation to value optimization.
