One of the supporters of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy in improving the economy, especially in the field of tourism destinations, namely the Hospitality Industry. The main purpose of the hotel industry is as a means of accommodation for temporary accommodation for guests who come from various places and places to conduct business meetings, seminars, wedding receptions, workshops, national meetings and other activities. In addition, the role of the hospitality industry is very helpful for tourists who are visiting to travel with lodging services provided by hotels. To compete in the hotel industry requires a strong management structure, especially in terms of controlling operational costs. Therefore, the company needs a cost control. Cost Control is one component to support the running of business activities in hotel companies. The role played by the cost controller is inventory, supervision and control of hotel spending costs to achieve.

This article reviews and attempts to confirm the marketing management strategy for sustainable tourism destinations. In the marketing management of tourism destinations, it is necessary to carry out good planning that involves the role of the central government, regional governments, the private sector, business actors and the surrounding community. In planning it is necessary to carry out an analysis, namely: (a) Analysis of the macro environment which includes the political, economic, social, legal and cultural environment;,(b) Analysis of the microenvironment including producers, supplier, competitors, tourists and community; (c) Competitor analysis including similar tourits destinations, and (d) Market analysis, namely the potential of tourists and the tourist market.  The marketing strategy consists of analysis, development, implementation and evaluation of activities in the development of tourist destinations. Likewise in the development of sustainable tourism management there are several aspects that need to be considered, namely; (a) Aspects of the attractiveness of tourist attractions; (b) Access to tourist spots; (c) Main and supporting facilities such as hotels, restaurants and others; and (d ) Institutions such as travel agents, travel agents, tours guides and others.

Digital marketing in the current era has become very important in marketing its products, no exception to tourism. Social Media allows everyone to create and spread their own content on various social networking platforms. But in the promotion of tourism, there needs to be a briefing on the strategy of using and preparing content, including social media ethics for managers and other stakeholders. Based on this, the PKM team conducted digital marketing introduction and training activities to be able to promote Pinus Buntu datu Forest Tourism and what potential it has and can be introduced to tourists. This training is aimed at tourism managers of Pinus Buntu datu Forest and the interest of the participants is quite high and they also feel the benefits of this digital marketing introduction training can be applied in digital marketing on social media. Further training is still needed on how to create messages in multimedia (photos and videos) that are attractive to potential tourists.

Tourism is a trip undertaken by individuals or groups to a place temporarily to seek harmony or balance and happiness in the social, cultural, natural and scientific dimensions. Spillane groups the goals of individual/group travel, including enjoying travel, spending time with family, business matters, and others. Tourism development is all forms of coordinated activities with the aim of increasing the number of tourists and improving facilities and infrastructure services, in the form of goods or services and facilities. This is categorized as a complex activity because this activity coordinates activities, facilities and infrastructure, objects and attractions, supporting facilities, environmental facilities and so on with tourists.

Mount Rinjani has a crater about 10 km wide and there is a crater lake called Lake Segara Anak with a depth of about 230 m. The charm possessed by Mount Rinjani is perfect, so there is no doubt that Rinjani is an attraction that can attract the interest of foreign and domestic tourists to climb it. And climbing Mount Rinjani will certainly become memories and life experiences that will not be forgotten. The qualitative research method is a research method that produces descriptive data. The researcher aims to describe the phenomenon that occurs regarding Mount Rinjani Tourism Development in Lombok and its Impact on Tourist Interests. The natural phenomenon of Mount Rinjani which later became a tourist attraction was framed in the Rp. 10 denomination. 10.000 issued by Bank Indonesia in 1998. For climbers, Lake Segara Anak is a favorite location to unwind after steep valleys, savanna, entering the wilderness. Mount Rinjani National Park is the second highest volcano in Indonesia, not only that, Guning Rinjani National Park also has very beautiful natural beauty and there is a wealth of flora and fauna which is the intersection of the wallace boundary, namely the flora and fauna typical of Asia and Australia meet. By introducing the flora and fauna that exist on Mount Rinjani, starting from those that are often encountered. Tourism sector has a good prospect in the future, because it can give big foreign exchange for developing tourism sector. Developing tourism sector needs several factors of human resources, one of them is the communications factors in which language as a means of verbal communication plays an important role. The functions of language and such ast o develop science and technology. And to communicate with other country. The people who are involved in the tourism industry are required to communicate with the tourists in their language. The language which is often used to communicate with the foreign tourist is English. If they cannot understand the English language, the foreign tourist will often find difficulties in communication. The problem are : What are the roles of English tourism in Tobelo? The hypothesis is that the role of the English language and the ability of a person in using the English language is important in the tourism industry.

The concept of Collaborative Government as an alternative basis is considered capable of realizing the acceleration and implementation of Tourism Areas. Collaborative Governance as a new paradigm that is used to deal with various issues in a complex society, the paradigm that is meant is the basic principle of equal relations between stakeholders in the public, private and community sectors. It is also a process that involves various stakeholders who are related to the interests or achieve a goal. This study analyzes Collaborative Governance in Sustainable Tourism Management, especially in Doplang Village. Then, this study uses qualitative research methods. The results of the research on the Doplang Tourism Village, Bawen District, Semarang Regency, are a source of income for the local community with the level of tourists visiting tourist attractions and also increasing people's income.

Bonto Bahari is one of the sub-districts in Bulukumba district which is a famous tourism destination in South Sulawesi. Beach tourism and the business of making phinisi boats are the attractions that are most in demand by tourists. As one of the popular tourist destinations, the business of making souvenirs as souvenirs is a business that is in great demand by the people of Bonto Bahari. The availability of wood raw materials and the skills of the community in making phinisi boat souvenirs that have been passed down for generations are important factors in the development of this souvenir business. However, in its development, the Phinisi ship souvenir business has not been maximized in sales. The use of marketing strategies by utilizing digital marketing has been carried out but limited to social media. Business actors are more focused on tourists who come to the gallery. So that this condition causes sales to depend on the number of tourists visiting Bonto Bahari. This community service activity is carried out to help business actors analyze their potential and weaknesses. By conducting training and mentoring, it is hoped that business actors will be able to better understand their potential, weaknesses and strengths and be able to develop the right strategy in developing their business.

Publikasi Hasil Pengabdian dan Kegiatan Masyarakat 2023 Asosiasi Periset Bahasa Sastra Indonesia

With its diverse tourism potentials, Rinding Allo village has passed the top 75 of Indonesian Tourism Village Award in 2023 and is developing into an international tourist destination. The English language competences of people in an international tourist destination are very important to provide good service to foreign tourists. This training aims to provide the knowledge and skills of English for tourism for the people of Rinding Allo village. The method used in this community service program is Asset Based Community-driven Development which consists of six stages. The method was applied by integrating the needs analysis stages and the English for specific purposes learning approach. At the asset mobilization stage, English for tourism training was carried out for five meetings. Each meeting discussed one unit of the English for tourism module which had been specially compiled in the previous stages. English for tourism training for the people of Rinding Allo village run well and provided useful material for the participants. During the training, the participants seemed enthusiastic in learning and practicing tourism English conversation. The participants’ mastery of English vocabulary and expressions in the tourism context as well as their confidence in using the language in communicating increased through this training.

South Bandung is an area in West Java which is famous for the beauty of its natural tourism which is so beautiful and extraordinarily amazing, where in the South Bandung area there are many natural tourist attractions that are an attraction for domestic and foreign tourists. One of them is Situ Patenggang which is a beautiful lake located in Rancabali, Ciwidey, Bandung Regency, West Java Province. Behind the beautiful lake there is a legendary love story in Situ Patenggang which is a natural tourist attraction in South Bandung and an iconic lake in Ciwidey, Rancabali, Bandung Regency, West Java. The theory used is the theory of natural tourist attraction objects. The research method used is the interview method, aiming to dig deeper into how this legend can be preserved as a natural tourist attraction object from Situ Patenggang. This interview method was conducted through informants consisting of managers, community leaders, and local communities. The results of the research based on the results of direct analysis show that Situ Patenggang is a lake full of legends so that it attracts many domestic and foreign tourists who make this lake the main object of attraction because of the legendary myths in South Bandung.

Barong dance is one of Indonesia's cultural treasures that has great tourist attraction potential in Bali. This dance depicts the fight between good and evil in Balinese culture and has the beauty of dance movements, interesting costumes, and stories raised in the dance. Barong dance also has an important role in introducing Balinese culture to tourists and having a positive impact on the local economy. However, in an effort to preserve it, there are several challenges that must be faced, such as maintaining authenticity, quality of appearance, effective promotion, and management and maintenance of costumes and property. Therefore, joint efforts from the government, community, and tourism industry players are needed to maintain and preserve Barong dance properly. In addition, education and training for the younger generation also need to be improved to help maintain the sustainability of Barong dance as a valuable cultural heritage. By maintaining and preserving Barong dance, it is hoped that Balinese culture can continue to be known and appreciated by tourists, and have a positive impact on the local economy.

Value that exists in a cultural customary ritual entity in a community environment, will not become a potential if its essence has not been determined. Essential marketing strategy is a marketing strategy that focuses on the core or basis of marketing. This study aims to find a marketing strategy to develop Sumenep based on culture that has been upheld by the people so far. This research is a qualitative research and uses a purposive method in selecting informants. Informants in this study were Pinggirpapas village community leaders, Pinggirpapas village community, and Pini Sepuh as traditional ritual leaders. The results of this study are a form of marketing essential values in Nyadar traditional rituals including; The Sanctity of Traditional Ritual Processions, Transformation of customary values between generations that bind as resilience to the psychological aspects of the residents, and the residents belief in the uniqueness of the ritual. While the economic strategy built by the residents is the inherent religious, cultural and economic values as well as the empowerment of economic values for processional products and a variety of local traditional and village culinary offerings. Furthermore, this research can become the basis for the government in developing the concept of city branding in Sumenep as an effort to increase the number of tourists visiting.

Tourism is indeed something that many people like, but a limited budget is the main reason for people not to go on a tour. Backpacking is a trip to a place without carrying burdensome items or a suitcase, making it easier to travel from one destination to another. Karimunjawa is one of the tourist destinations favored by the Jepara Regency Government and the Central Java Provincial Government. Still beautiful and preserved nature Karimunjawa is the main attraction. According to Tourist Visit Statistics Data by TIC Jepara (Jepara Tourism Information Center), in 2018 the number of tourists who came to visit Karimunjawa was 137,835 people. With details of 129,679 domestic tourists, and 8,156 foreign tourists. (TIC Jepara, 2018). With this backpacker method, it is hoped that it can become an alternative cheap travel method to increase tourists in Karimun Jawa after the pandemic.

Tourism is a sector in Indonesia that plays a role in the economy by increasing people's incomes, increasing and leveling employment opportunities, and serving as a source of foreign exchange. However, as a tourist destination, Yogyakarta is experiencing lagging problems in increasing tourist visits. The Grebeg tradition is part of the culture in Yogyakarta as a community celebration to commemorate an event. This research aims to examine the potential of the Grebeg tradition in Yogyakarta to increase tourism in Indonesia. Based on the results of this research, the Grebeg tradition can become part of potential tourism in Yogyakarta and a means of entertainment for local tourists to create knowledge of cultural heritage and love for the Indonesian nation.

Kota Lama Semarang telah menjadi salah satu daya tarik wisata yang menarik minat wisatawan baik dari dalam kota Semarang maupun luar kota Semarang. Pemerintah Kota Semarang melalui Badan Pengembangan Kawasan Kota Lama Semarang merevitalisasi Kota Lama Semarang sehingga menjadi tempat yang nyaman untuk dikunjungi wisatawan. Selain memperbaiki kondisi fisik, pemerintah juga memperbaiki dan meningkatkan fasilitas di Kota Lama Semarang. Salah satunya adalah dengan menyediakan pemandu wisata yang juga memiliki peran penting dalam kemajuan pariwisata. Dengan demikian ketrampilan seorang pemandu wisata juga harus diperhatikan dan ditingkatkan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan tujuan meningkatkan ketrampilan berbahasa dan teknik kepemaduan para pemandu wisata Kota Lama Semarang. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan memberikan pelatihan dan praktek langsung di Kota Lama Semarang. Dengan mengikuti kegiatan ini diharapkan ketrampilan berbahasa dan kepemanduan pemandu wisata Kota Lama Semarang meningkat dan pada akhirnya dapat meningkatkan pariwisata di kota Semarang. Kata Kunci: pariwisata, pemandu wisata, Kawasan Kota Lama Semarang.   Semarang Old Town has become one of the tourist attractions that attracts tourists both from within the city of Semarang and outside the city of Semarang. The Semarang City Government through Badan Pengembangan Kawasan Kota Lama Semarang revitalized Semarang Old City so that it became a comfortable place for tourists to visit. In addition to improving physical conditions, the government also improves and improves facilities in Semarang Old City. One of them is by providing tour guides who also have an important role in the progress of tourism. Thus the skills of a tour guide must also be considered and improved. This community service activity is carried out with the aim of improving the language skills and guidance techniques of the Semarang Old City tour guides. This activity is carried out by providing training and hands-on practice in Kota Lama Semarang. By participating in this activity, it is hoped that the language skills and guidance of the Semarang Old City tour guide will increase and in the end can increase tourism in the city of Semarang. With the choice of tourists increasing and giving each other the concept of trust, with almost similar values, this makes tourists more curious and confused. The influence of quality, quality, price and persuasive persuasion will influence tourists continuously in weighing which one is the best, which is more in his heart. However, on the other hand, this condition actually shows the weakness of the Tourism Office that tourists are a determining factor for the future of one of the tourist attractions, with the confidence of tourists supporting the economy of the people in tourist sites, especially under the Semarang Regency Tourism Office. Currently the Semarang Regency Tourism Office uses posters and advertises through yellowpages as a medium for delivering information, from the promotional methods carried out there are still obstacles, including the use of posters and through yellowpages advertising, which is very limited in terms of size and information to be conveyed. Therefore, it requires a promotional media that is able to provide complete information about tourism profiles to potential tourists

Background: The discipline of health protocols is one of the first steps for the revival of tourism in Bali, which during the pandemic period experienced very difficult phases for tourism activists as well as local, domestic and international tourists. Bali Rise is Bali's tag line to re-open itself to accept tourists from abroad, of course with a health protocol that has become an absolute price. Purpose: The purpose of this article review is to evaluate the application of health protocol discipline, especially in Bali. Method: the method used in this article review is to search for articles with the keywords health and tourism protocols. The inclusion criteria are literature on health protocols during a pandemic with a range of publication years from 2019 to 2021, while the exclusion criteria are review articles. The results of the literature search carried out deletion of double articles, screening of titles, abstracts, and full-text obtained 20 articles. Result: tourism activists in Bali have increased their attention to support the recovery of Bali tourism by participating in training and socialization of health protocols and even some tourist objects that make strict SOPs regarding the implementation of health protocols. Conclusion: tourism in Bali is ready to rise with the application of health protocol discipline

Carangwulung village located in Wonosalam sub-district, Jombang district has the potential of abundant natural resources from plantation products ranging from bananas, durian, salak, to coffee. The large number of products produced in the Segunung Traditional Village is an interesting addition for implementers to focus on increasing promotions and marketing activities that can be carried out independently by the Segunung Traditional Village. The facilities owned by the Segunung Traditional Village ranging from coffee plantations, coffee shops, and springs should be able to make economic potential and tourism education potential that can be offered and make Segunung Traditional Village into a village that has independence in terms of the creative economy. However, the potential possessed by this Traditional Village is still not a tourism product that is well packaged and attractive for tourists who visit in a sustainable manner. This is partly due to the fact that activities have not been documented, village products are not properly published and are not published in an interesting way. Dusun Segunung has several social media options, but partners feel that creative content ideas are very difficult to grow. Starting from how photos, videos of creative products and designs can be managed properly and produced sustainably. The method of implementing community service is in the form of consultation, socialization and assistance on digital marketing strategies, especially in the form of creative videos and social media management. The socialization and mentoring covered material and practice on videography and video editing techniques using simple technology, smartphones. Through this activity, partners are expected to be able to optimize social media in promoting the potential of their villages, events and business products in order to reach a wider market so that business development and progress can ultimately increase the income of the Segunung Traditional Village.

One of the new tourism destinations that has a natural charm as if we are standing on a bumpy cloud. This new tourism destination is named after the country above the clouds located in Lebak Regency, Banten, Indonesia. The results of this study the role of social media marketing can introduce and popularize the country's tourism above the clouds located in the district of Lebak, Lebak and can affect the image of tourists about the quality of the destination and can also provide satisfaction and loyalty to tourists.

This study reveals how the relationship between the establishment of the monument and the traditional belief system of the Toba Batak people who still believe in the existence of the spirits of their ancestors. The actualization of this belief is manifested in the construction of an ancestral monument which is considered an embodiment of respect for the descendants of the clan that founded it. To reveal these data, in this study the authors used qualitative research. The data in the field were obtained through participatory observation techniques, interviews, and literature studies. The purpose of this study was to reveal the background of the establishment of monuments in clan groups in Balige District, Toba Samosir Regency which represents the function and meaning of the erection of clan monuments in Balige District. Toba Samosir Regency also describes the organization and implementation of the case for the establishment of the Siraja Nababat, Manurung, Nommensen, Siagian, Sonakmalela and Sisimangaraja XII monuments in and analyzes the conception of the construction of the monument in the Toba Batak community. based on the conception of traditional beliefs that believe in the existence of their ancestral spirits in people's lives. The worship of ancestral spirits is manifested in the construction of monuments. This research was conducted in the Tourism Area in the City of Balige and Porsea – North Sumatra. The aims of this study include: (1) As a deeper learning material about the reasons why Batak Culture built the Tugu, and (2) To explore and promote the richness of culture, tradition, history in the Batak tribe. The results showed that (1) all visitors who came were very enthusiastic about the history of the construction of each existing monument, (2) the role of both local and foreign tourists had a positive impact on the community, namely the development of local community knowledge systems, the emergence of new livelihoods, getting to know language diversity, technological progress, the formation of social organizations, the emergence of the commercialization of hospitality, the shift in the value of solidarity in agriculture. Cultural tourism is a travel activity carried out by certain parties (a person or group of people) by visiting certain places with the aim of learning about cultural attractions or taking advantage of the cultural potential of the places visited.
