This study aims to investigate the effects of tamarind leaf extract (Tamarindus indica L.) on neuropharmacological activity in mice using calculated percentages of responses based on the parameters PSM, SSSP, DSSP, SL, RO, SM, PSL, and ANA. This research was conducted as a laboratory experiment using a completely randomized design (CRD) with three treatment concentrations: 1%, 2%, and 4%. Observations were performed to assess the percentage of activity produced by each sample concentration, followed by descriptive–quantitative analysis to determine the dose–response pattern. The results showed that tamarind leaf extract produced varying responses across concentrations. The SSSP, ANA, and RO effects demonstrated increased activity at the 2% concentration, whereas other parameters (PSM, PSL, SM, SL, and DSSP) showed decreased activity. Interestingly, the SSSP parameter exhibited a positive dose–response pattern with the highest activity of 55.84% at 2%. Overall, the effectiveness of tamarind leaf extract depends on the concentration level. The 2% concentration appears to be the optimal dose for several neuropharmacological effects, while the 4% concentration was most effective only for SSSP. These findings highlight the importance of multi-concentration testing to determine effective dosing of natural products for biological applications and the need for further investigation.

Global economic developments show the acceleration of the adoption of circular business models, where resource efficiency and waste reduction are the main focuses to answer sustainability demands and SDGs targets. Although this trend is strengthening globally, MSMEs, especially those based on family businesses, are still lagging behind in their implementation, even though digitalization is increasingly opening up opportunities for operational optimization and innovation. The urgency of this research arises from the need to understand how the digital mindset and transformation of family business management can accelerate the readiness of MSMEs in implementing circular business practices. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of the three strategic concepts into a single analytical framework through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR), a perspective that has rarely been combined in previous studies. With the SLR method based on the PRISMA protocol, this study shows that MSMEs already have a strong foundation in the digital mindset, including technology readiness, innovation orientation, and adaptation of digital business models. Family business values have also been proven to support business continuity through knowledge transfer and long-term investment. However, the implementation of circular business practices is still weak, especially in resource cycle management, sustainable product design, and environmental impact measurement. The implication is that the synergy of digital mindset and family business governance can strengthen the transition of MSMEs to a circular economy that directly supports the achievement of the SDGs, especially in the areas of sustainable consumption-production and industrial innovation.

Food loss and food waste (FLW) constitute systemic challenges in modern food systems, with direct implications for resource efficiency, environmental sustainability, and food security, particularly in developing countries where horticultural food loss persists upstream while food waste increases in downstream tourism sectors. This review synthesizes literature from 2015 to 2025 on horticultural food loss, tourism-related food waste, and the role of universities in cross-sectoral FLW reduction, using Sembalun, West Nusa Tenggara, as an illustrative agrarian–tourism landscape. The review is based on a multi-database search of academic sources (ScienceDirect/Elsevier, SpringerLink, Wiley Online Library, Taylor & Francis Online, MDPI, and Emerald Insight), complemented by key policy documents from FAO, UNEP, and UNWTO. Thematic synthesis indicates that upstream food loss and downstream food waste reflect structural mismatches between local production systems, tourism consumption patterns, and food governance, and therefore cannot be effectively addressed through isolated sectoral or technical interventions. The review highlights universities as strategic knowledge brokers that facilitate penta-helix collaboration, generate empirical evidence, and support the design of integrated interventions. This study underscores the need to strengthen universities' role in bridging agriculture, tourism, and policy to advance FLW reduction and support sustainable tourism development in rural destinations such as Sembalun, West Nusa Tenggara.

Rubber prices experience significant and prolonged fluctuations, which impact farmer incomes and management decisions. Understanding historical patterns and price predictions is considered crucial for production planning, marketing, and farmer protection policies. This study aims to identify the characteristics of rubber price time series in Lahat Regency and develop a reliable forecasting model to support short- to medium-term decision-making. This study uses secondary data on monthly average producer prices for the period January 2019–December 2023. The analysis includes the Augmented Dickey–Fuller stationarity test to determine the need for transformation, differencing, and/or logarithmic transformation when necessary, identification of autocorrelation patterns using ACF/PACF, model estimation on the processed data, and evaluation of residual diagnostics (Ljung–Box, normality test) and forecasting accuracy metrics (RMSE, MAE, MAPE, Theil). The level data shows non-stationarity and becomes stationary after the first differencing; The model on log-transformed data had significant parameters and higher explanatory power than the model on de-differenced data, with RMSE and MAPE values within a reasonable range. Forecast confidence intervals widened at longer time horizons, indicating increased projection uncertainty. Conclusion: Validated forecasts can inform farmers and policymakers to manage price risk and design market interventions.

The main issues identified in this study include mistargeting of beneficiaries, weak inter-agency coordination, low community participation in the verification process, and a tendency among recipients to rely on cash assistance in a consumptive manner. This research analyzes the scenario planning of the Cash Transfer Program (BLT) in reducing poverty in Surabaya City, particularly in Krembangan District. The program is implemented based on Surabaya Mayor Regulation Number 130 of 2023, which serves as the legal foundation for the regional BLT scheme. Using the Scenario Planning TAIDA model (Tracking, Analysing, Imaging, Deciding, and Acting) by Mats Lindgren and Bandhold (2003) as the analytical framework, this study examines the extent to which planning, decision-making, and implementation processes are able to respond to the socio-economic dynamics of the community. Employing a descriptive qualitative method, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that BLT plays a significant role in supporting low-income households and reducing poverty rates; however, challenges persist, including limited community engagement, weak inter-agency coordination, and non-productive use of assistance. The scenario planning approach is considered effective in helping the government design more adaptive, participatory, and sustainable policy strategies. It is expected that the BLT program will not only serve as a short-term intervention but also become a strategic instrument in promoting independence and improving the welfare of poor communities in Surabaya.

The study aims to improve the passion fruit syrup production system at Harisma Home Industry, which has been hindered by an inefficient facility layout and complicated raw material flow. These issues lead to longer processing time, higher operator workload, and reduced production capacity. To solve this, the research uses the Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) and Total Closeness Rating (TCR) to evaluate and redesign the layout. TCR results show that the Raw Material Warehouse has the highest priority with a score of 119, requiring an Absolutely Important (A) relationship with the Production Room. The Parking Area and Waiting Room also fall into the Absolutely Important category, as they support smooth movements of materials and visitors. Meanwhile, the Toilet has a Very Important (E) relationship with the Waiting Room due to comfort and accessibility needs. Based on these proximity requirements, a new layout was designed by placing the Raw Material Warehouse next to the Production Room to create a faster and more efficient material flow. Other facilities were rearranged to minimize unnecessary movement. This new layout is expected to streamline processes, reduce congestion, and enhance overall capacity and operational performance.

This study was conducted to evaluate the level of conformity between actual mining activities in March 2025 and the monthly sequence design plan at PT Tama Raya's P3000BK14 pit. The evaluation focused on geometric deviations, volume achievement, and changes in field conditions that influenced these discrepancies. The data used included the sequence design, actual topography from the TLS (Low-Scale Land Survey), and weekly production realizations. The results showed significant discrepancies between the planned and actual operations in weeks 2 and 4, primarily in the form of overcuts, undercuts, non-designed contour changes, thinning of the coal seam, and hydrological obstacles such as ponding and unstable drainage. The R2 sequence redesign in week 4 proved to improve the overburden excavation flow but did not fully restore coal access due to persistent geological and water conditions. These findings emphasize the need for more rapid topographic updates, more intensive water handling, and interdepartmental coordination to ensure better synchronization of plans and operations.
