The growth of e-commerce in Indonesia has changed consumption patterns, especially in the online purchase of skincare products. Shopee, as the largest marketplace, has become the main platform for brands such as Skintific, which has achieved high sales. This phenomenon shows the support of online consumer reviews (Electronic Word of Mouth/E-WOM) and digital shopping experiences (Online Customer Experience/OCE). This study aims to examine the influence of E-WOM and OCE on purchasing decisions for Skintific products on Shopee. This study used a quantitative method with an associative approach. The research sample consisted of 97 respondents obtained through purposive sampling. Data analysis was performed through validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination (R²). The results of the study indicate that E-WOM has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions (calculated t = 5.209 > table t = 1.986; sig. <.001). OCE also has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions (t-count = 7.605 > t-table = 1.986; sig. <.001). Simultaneously, both independent variables have a significant effect on purchasing decisions (F-count = 101.366 > f-table = 3.09; sig. <.001). The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.683 indicates that 68.3% of the variation in purchase decisions can be explained by E-WOM and OCE, while the remaining 31.7% is influenced by other factors outside the research model. These findings confirm that consumer online reviews and positive online shopping experiences play an important role in increasing purchase decisions for Skintific products on Shopee.

Kampung Kelam Pagi, Dompak Village, focused on mapping the local road network as a foundation for sustainable development planning. The data collection process combined observation, interviews, and digital recording, resulting in both technical data (such as road length, width, and condition) and social data (including road naming conventions and patterns of community usage). The findings indicate notable disparities in infrastructure quality, with main roads mostly paved, while smaller neighborhood roads remain unpaved and lack adequate street lighting. This disparity in infrastructure quality highlights the need for targeted interventions to address the basic infrastructure needs of the community. In addition, the study emphasizes the importance of community involvement in the mapping process, which not only strengthened the social value of the maps but also fostered collective awareness of the importance of spatial data in village development. The discussion further underscores that local data availability is crucial for more participatory, inclusive, and community-oriented village planning, where decisions are based on accurate, locally sourced information. This study demonstrates that KKN activities do more than just provide technical data; they also help reinforce social capacity, empowering local communities to actively contribute to sustainable development efforts. Ultimately, such initiatives contribute to creating more resilient and well-informed communities that can participate in and benefit from development planning.

The Student Evaluation of Lecturers (EDOM) at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Dr. Soetomo has historically been conducted via Google Forms and processed manually, resulting in slow response times, repetitive recap procedures, and insufficiently documented reporting validity. This study aims to design, build, and evaluate a web-based EDOM system using the Prototype Model (MODEL PROTOTYPE) to improve data collection efficiency, recap accuracy, and the effectiveness of feedback for teaching quality assurance. The development method comprises requirements elicitation with the Quality Assurance Unit through a review of SPMI documents and brief interviews, architectural and interface design (Laravel, MVC pattern, and MySQL), staged prototyping, and rapid iterations based on stakeholder feedback until functional conformity is achieved. The resulting system provides authentication and role-based authorization (Admin, GPM, Lecturer, Student), odd/even period management, a question bank employing a Likert scale, anonymous questionnaire submission, score recap per lecturer and per category (pedagogical, professional, personal, social), dashboard visualizations, and report export to support governance needs. Functional evaluation was conducted through black-box testing on core scenarios (login, period scheduling, submission, recap, and export) and indicated conformance to specifications. User acceptance evaluation employed the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to examine perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, attitude toward use, and behavioral intention; the results indicate positive acceptance and potential for operational adoption. Practically, the prototype approach accelerates requirement alignment, reduces the risk of mis-specification, and facilitates change control, while the Laravel-based implementation supports maintainability, role-based access security, and further feature development. The study is limited to a single faculty; future work may include SSO integration, audit trails, and longitudinal, cross-semester analytics for more comprehensive monitoring of lecturer performance.

Obesity among college students is a public health issue that is gaining increasing attention because it is associated with an increased risk of chronic diseases such as diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and heart disease, and can reduce quality of life and academic productivity. College students, as a group of early adults, are in a transition phase towards independence and are therefore vulnerable to lifestyle changes, including unhealthy eating patterns, fast food consumption, low physical activity due to busy studies, irregular sleep habits, and high academic stress. This study aims to determine the risk factors associated with obesity among students at the Islamic University of Ogan Komering Ilir in 2025. This study used a cross-sectional design with a quantitative approach. A sample of 95 students was selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire and body mass index (BMI) measurement to determine respondents' nutritional status. Independent variables included diet, physical activity, sleep quality, stress levels, and a family history of obesity. The results showed a prevalence of obesity of 17.9%. Bivariate analysis found a significant association between obesity and unhealthy diet (p=0.002), low physical activity (p=0.000), poor sleep quality (p=0.000), and high stress levels (p=0.001). Meanwhile, a family history of obesity showed a tendency to have an effect but was not statistically significant. These findings indicate that obesity in college students is largely influenced by modifiable lifestyle factors. Therefore, this study emphasizes the importance of health promotion interventions on campus, such as balanced nutrition counseling, increased access to sports facilities, stress management, and education on healthy sleep patterns. Promotive and preventive efforts undertaken from a young age are expected to reduce the risk of obesity and chronic disease in the future.

Speech delay in children is a developmental issue commonly encountered in society, which can affect various aspects of a child's life, including communication, social interaction, and academic development. Early detection of speech delay is crucial for providing appropriate interventions to minimize its long-term impact on the child. This study aims to introduce the use of machine learning algorithms in detecting speech delay symptoms in children. Three machine learning algorithms applied in this study are Naïve Bayes, C4.5, and K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN). These algorithms are used to classify speech delay symptoms based on health data, medical history, and environmental factors such as speaking habits and eating patterns. The outreach was conducted at Puskesmas Kota Rantauprapat with the involvement of parents and healthcare providers as participants. The experimental results showed that all three algorithms performed well in terms of accuracy, though with varying error rates. Naïve Bayes achieved relatively high accuracy but had a higher false positive rate compared to C4.5 and K-NN. C4.5 provided more stable results and was easier to interpret due to its decision tree structure. Meanwhile, K-NN performed better with data that had irregular distribution. This outreach is expected to assist both the community and healthcare providers in early detection of speech delay in children, providing a more efficient and affordable means for early intervention, which ultimately leads to better outcomes for children with speech delay.

This study aims to understand the dynamics of children’s communication within families after parental infidelity in Subang Regency, with a focus on conflict, problem-solving strategies, and conformity. The research employed a qualitative approach using a case study method, with data collected through purposive sampling involving four key informants and five supporting informants. The findings indicate that post-affair conflicts often lead to children’s withdrawal from family interactions, while problem-solving efforts are not always successful in restoring trust and repairing family relationships due to unresolved emotional wounds. Children’s conformity tends to become increasingly closed and restrictive, with the family no longer functioning as a safe space to express feelings and share concerns. Parental infidelity significantly disrupts family communication, particularly in parent–child interactions, as children tend to feel insecure, lose trust, and adopt rigid or defensive communication patterns. This condition reflects a broader psychological impact in which children experience emotional distress, confusion, and difficulties in establishing meaningful relationships. Moreover, the study highlights that unresolved family communication breakdowns may contribute to long-term consequences, such as reduced self-esteem and heightened vulnerability to stress. The research underscores the importance of maintaining open, honest, and empathetic communication to support children’s emotional recovery after parental infidelity. It also recommends seeking professional assistance, such as counselors or psychologists, when families are unable to independently rebuild healthy communication patterns. This provides not only emotional relief but also preventive measures for further deterioration of family relationships.

Adapting to students’ learning styles is a key factor in enhancing the effectiveness of higher education, particularly in Informatics programs where learning preferences vary widely. This study aims to segment students based on their learning styles using the K-Means clustering algorithm, guided by the VARK model (Visual, Auditory, Read/Write, Kinesthetic). Data were collected from 130 Informatics students, including information on their learning preferences, and processed through normalization techniques. The optimal number of clusters was determined using the Elbow Method and Silhouette Score, and subsequent cluster interpretation was conducted. The results identified three dominant clusters, each representing distinct learning behavior patterns. These clusters were analyzed to recommend tailored instructional strategies for each group. Specifically, Visual learners were found to benefit from graphic-heavy materials, Auditory learners preferred lectures and discussions, Read/Write learners thrived on written content and detailed notes, while Kinesthetic learners responded best to hands-on activities. The findings support the development of adaptive, data-driven teaching approaches that align with the actual learning tendencies of students in Informatics. Moreover, the study demonstrates that the K-Means method is effective in systematically identifying student learning profiles, which can be used to inform instructional improvements. This personalized approach to teaching could significantly enhance learning outcomes by providing students with the most effective educational experiences tailored to their individual learning styles

Sleep is a fundamental human need that plays a crucial role in maintaining both physical and mental health. Poor sleep quality can trigger a variety of health problems, ranging from decreased concentration to an increased risk of chronic diseases. The complexity of factors influencing sleep quality—such as stress levels, heart rate, blood pressure, physical activity, and lifestyle—makes its assessment difficult through direct observation alone. Therefore, data mining approaches are increasingly utilized to identify relevant patterns in sleep-related data. This study aims to compare the performance of the C4.5 (Decision Tree) algorithm and the Naïve Bayes algorithm in predicting sleep quality using the Sleep Health and Lifestyle dataset, which contains information from 374 respondents. The research method applied is a quantitative comparative approach employing classification techniques with 10-fold cross-validation to ensure robust evaluation. Model performance is assessed using accuracy, precision, and recall metrics to provide a comprehensive understanding of the effectiveness of each algorithm. The findings indicate that the C4.5 algorithm achieves an accuracy of 96.26% and offers advantages in terms of interpretability through its decision tree visualization, enabling easier understanding of variable relationships. In contrast, the Naïve Bayes algorithm demonstrates superior predictive performance, achieving an accuracy of 98.66% along with consistently high precision and recall across nearly all classes. These results suggest that Naïve Bayes is more effective for predictive tasks involving sleep quality, while C4.5 remains highly valuable when the goal is to interpret variable interactions and decision rules. Overall, this research highlights the potential of data mining techniques in health informatics, particularly in improving the understanding and prediction of sleep quality, which in turn can contribute to better prevention and management of sleep-related health issues.

Alcohol abuse is a serious issue that not only affects the individual experiencing addiction but also has profound consequences for families, particularly parents. Parents often face significant emotional, social, and psychological burdens when dealing with a child struggling with alcohol dependence. This study aims to gain an in-depth understanding of parental acceptance of children with alcohol addiction. The research employed a qualitative phenomenological approach with two parents as participants, each having a child with alcohol dependence. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, which allowed for a rich exploration of personal experiences, and analyzed using the Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) technique. The thematic analysis revealed six major themes: the dynamics of parent–child interactions, emotional responses of parents, changes in the child’s behavior due to addiction, the influence of parents’ past experiences, self-harming behavior as a coping mechanism, and the normalization of the child’s behavior. Findings indicate that parents’ past experiences, including trauma and parenting patterns, strongly influenced how they accepted their child’s condition. Furthermore, maladaptive coping strategies, such as self-harm, emerged as part of the acceptance process when parents faced situations beyond their control. This study underscores the importance of trauma-informed family interventions to help parents develop healthier coping mechanisms. It also highlights the need for comprehensive psychoeducational programs that involve all family members to foster resilience and mutual support. In doing so, the research contributes to the development of more effective psychological support systems for families affected by alcohol addiction.
