Attendance is an essential component of school management that serves as both proof of presence and a basis for evaluating the discipline of teachers, students, and staff. The manual attendance system that is still widely used often leads to several issues, such as delayed data recapitulation, potential attendance manipulation, and low recording accuracy. This study aims to design and develop a web-based attendance application at SD Negeri 19 Pasar Cubadak by integrating geolocation, timestamp, and face recognition features as attendance validation tools. The research method employed is the Research and Development (R&D) approach using the Waterfall software development model, which includes the stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The application was developed using the Laravel framework with PHP and JavaScript programming languages and a MySQL database. The results show that the web-based attendance application can record attendance in real-time, automatically validate user location and identity, and generate accurate and transparent attendance reports. The User Acceptance Test (UAT) results indicate that the system is user-friendly, improves recapitulation efficiency, and assists the principal in objectively monitoring school members’ discipline. Therefore, this application is expected to serve as a modern solution to enhance the effectiveness of attendance administration in primary education environments.

In German language courses at universities, students must learn four skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. To master these four skills, students must have a good command of vocabulary, as this is the foundation needed to master the German language. This software does not require programming code, so users can easily add graphics and sounds to the game. Without vocabulary, skills such as reading, writing, speaking, and listening cannot be performed. This study aims to create a Construct 2 application that can be used by college students to increase their A1 level German vocabulary. The data for this study is A1 level German vocabulary with the theme “Guten Appetit,” and another source of data is the book “Netzwerk neu A1 Kursbuch” published by Ernst Klett Sprachen GmbH in 2019. This research will be conducted in the foreign language laboratory at UNIMED. The application will be tested by subject matter experts and learning media experts. This research will be published in a nationally indexed journal.

This study aims to determine the effect of interest rates and inflation on the profitability of property and real estate sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2020-2024. Profitability is measured using the Return on Assets (ROA) ratio, while interest rates refer to the BI-7 Day Reverse Repo Rate and inflation is calculated based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) data from Bank Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis methods and classical assumption tests supported by data processing using SPSS version 27 software. The sample was selected using purposive sampling techniques with criteria of companies that consistently submit annual financial reports, do not record losses during the research period, and use the Rupiah currency. The research results indicate that partially, interest rates have a positive and significant effect on profitability, while inflation does not have a significant effect on profitability. However, simultaneously, interest rates and inflation together have a significant effect on the company's profitability. These findings are expected to serve as a strategic reference for companies in formulating financial policies to maintain profitability stability amidst macroeconomic dynamics.

The industrial sector plays a crucial role in driving Indonesia’s economic growth, yet it also faces challenges in optimizing capital structure and shareholder value. One key financial policy that reflects managerial decisions and investor perceptions is the dividend payout ratio, which may influence a firm’s cost of equity. This study aims to examine the effect of the dividend payout ratio on the cost of equity among industrial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2020–2023 period. The research problem arises from inconsistent empirical evidence regarding whether higher dividend payments reduce or increase the cost of equity. Using a quantitative approach, secondary data were collected from annual financial reports, and samples were selected through purposive sampling, yielding 162 valid observations. Linear regression analysis was performed using EViews 13 software. The findings reveal a negative and statistically significant relationship between the dividend payout ratio and the cost of equity. The study concludes that higher dividend payouts can lower firms’ cost of equity, supporting the signaling theory.

This study is a literature review aimed at examining in depth the concepts, characteristics, learning difficulties, and applications of quadratic functions in secondary mathematics education. The research employs a qualitative approach by analyzing ten articles published between 2019 and 2025 from both national and international journals. The findings indicate that the quadratic function is a fundamental topic in the mathematics curriculum, playing a crucial role in developing higher-order mathematical thinking skills such as analysis, synthesis, and problem-solving. It also serves as a foundation for understanding more advanced topics such as calculus, analytic geometry, and optimization. However, various studies have found that students continue to face significant learning difficulties, including misconceptions related to the shape of the parabola graph, understanding the discriminant value, and connecting algebraic forms to real-world contexts. To address these issues, research suggests that technology-assisted learning—particularly through interactive software such as GeoGebra—has proven effective in enhancing conceptual understanding, motivation, and student engagement. Therefore, this review highlights the importance of strengthening conceptual understanding, applying contextual learning approaches, and integrating digital technology as innovative strategies for teaching quadratic functions at the secondary education level.

This study aims to analyze the role of company size as a moderator variable in the relationship between profitability and leverage and sales growth in manufacturing companies in the basic industry and chemical sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2020–2023 period. The research method used is a quantitative approach with purposive sampling techniques, so that 56 sample data that meet the research criteria are obtained. Data analysis was carried out using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with the help of SPSS software version 30. The results show that leverage does not have a significant effect on profitability, while sales growth is proven to have a significant effect on profitability. Furthermore, company size has not been shown to moderate the relationship between leverage and profitability, but it does play a significant role in moderating the relationship between sales growth and profitability. These findings support the Pecking Order theory, which emphasizes that companies with larger sizes tend to have wider access to funding so that they are able to strengthen the influence of sales growth on profitability. This research provides a theoretical contribution in enriching the literature on factors that affect profitability, as well as a practical contribution to company management in formulating more effective financial and growth strategies. Thus, the size of the company proves to be an important factor to consider in the analysis of financial performance, particularly in the context of the relationship between sales growth and profitability.
