Background: Children are the greatest family asset, where in their growth and development stages children need proper nutrition, stimulation, and parenting so that they are in their golden age or golden age (0-5 years). Based on the National Household Health Survey (SKRT), there are 75 million children under five who have difficulty controlling BAK and defecating (bedwetting) until preschool age. Toilet training is best done from an early age to instill good habits in children. This study aims to determine the level of maternal knowledge about toilet training for toddlers at the Kepaon Denpasar Praja Praja hostel. Methods: This study uses descriptive research methods. The research was carried out in the Denpasar Kepaon Raksaka Praja Dormitory, with a total sample of 44 mothers. The sampling technique used in this study was total sampling. The method of data collection is by distributing questionnaire sheets. The data were processed using the Excel Microsof computer program and SPSS. Results: The results of the research of 44 respondents, namely the level of knowledge of mothers about toilet training for toddlers, all of them had a sufficient level of knowledge as much as 32 (72.7%), as many as 6 respondents (13.6%) had a good level of knowledge, and as many as 6 respondents (13.6%) have a low level of knowledge. Conclusion: It can be concluded that the level of mother's knowledge about toilet training for toddlers in the Denpasar Kepaon Praja Raksaka hostel is in the sufficient category.

This study aims to determine the parenting style of parents in building children's independence, because the role of parents is very important in building independence in children. Education in early childhood is an effort to stimulate, guide and provide learning aimed at developing skills in children. Parents as caregivers of children must have an understanding of their child's development. The development of children's intelligence at an early age develops optimally at the age of 4 years. Along with these developments, children will actively move, imitate units, or say something to interact with those around them. Therefore, the development of a child is influenced by the treatment of parents and families towards him.

Early childhood is also known as the golden age, in which the potential and abilities of the physical, cognitive, language, artistic, social-emotional, moral, religious, self-concept, self-discipline and independence develop. Therefore it is important if from an early age it is necessary to instill the value of independence in children. One of the factors that can influence the process of developing independence in children is parenting style. This study aims to determine the parenting style of parents in building children's independence, because the role of parents is very important in building independence in children. The research method used is library research or library research. The results of this study are through parenting parents are able to build children's independence, including in applying habits to children. The prevalence of underweight in 2018 in Indonesia is 17.7%, consisting of 3.9% malnutrition and 13.8% malnutrition. Banten is one of the sixteen provinces in Indonesia showing a prevalence of underweight, where in 2016 the number of malnutrition in toddlers reached 1051 toddlers spread in 8 cities / regencies in Tangerang, Banten, in 2017 the number of malnutrition in toddlers was 74 toddlers. The Research Objectives is To find out the factors that are related to underweight status in children under five at Gunung Kaler Health Center, Tangerang Regency, Banten Province. Descriptive correlative study with case control approach. The sample in this study were toddlers at Gunung Kaler Health Center as many as 58 under five malnourished children and 58 under-fives with good nutrition taken by purposive sampling technique. Data was obtained by distributing questionnaires and measuring nutritional status. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate with chi-square test. The Results is There is a relationship between maternal knowledge (Value = 0,000; OR = 5,884), family income (Pvalue = 0.002; OR = 3,709), parenting style (Pvalue = 0,000; OR = 6,331), infectious disease (Pvalue = 0,000; OR = 4,222) with nutritional status of toddlers. Conclusions and Suggestions of this research are Mother's knowledge, family income, upbringing and infectious diseases are associated with poor nutritional status in toddlers. Puskesmas increase the frequency of counseling for mothers who have toddlers in particular. Besides that, there was a knock on door program by following up toddlers with under-nutrition status.

This study aims to investigate the impact of democratic parenting style, single parent resilience, school environment, and religious education on child character development. Through an exploratory approach, the research seeks to understand the intricate interplay between these factors and their effects on shaping children's character traits. The study employs purposive sampling to gather insights from diverse perspectives, including parents, educators, and religious leaders. Data analysis involves thematic coding to identify recurring patterns and themes within the narratives. Initial findings suggest that democratic parenting fosters independence and empathy in children, while single parent resilience contributes to resilience-building. Additionally, the school environment and religious education play significant roles in instilling moral values and ethical principles. These findings underscore the multifaceted nature of child character development and highlight the importance of considering various influences in nurturing well-rounded individuals.

Islamic nature and character is very valuable as a channel and barrier for children at TPQ in managing information technology in today's digital era. This is what underlies the importance of Parenting Skill Training for TPQ Al Ikhlas Santri Guardians in the Digital Era, the Islamic Digital Parenting community movement program. This program demonstrates to introduce the computerized world to guardians, and teach them to have the option of getting ready. Young people are facing the rapid advancement of innovation by applying Islamic traits to children. This Business Program aims to provide skills to prepare and provide knowledge to guardians regarding correct Islamic parenting patterns for children in old age. Departing from this problem, then, at that time, what the guardians of santri needed to do to prevent and survive the bad consequences of the computerized world was to develop Digital Resilience in children. Advanced Resilience is its capacity to control the possible risks of an internet-based world by developing virtues in young people (Shotbolt, 2016, 2017). This work should be made possible by instilling great Islamic qualities and character in young people.

Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman dan konsep tentang konsep matematika kepada pendidik anak usia dini untuk menstimulasi  kemampuan matematika sesuai tahapan perkembangannya dan karekteristik usia di lingkungan IGRA kecamatan Gatak. Setiap anak pasti punya potensi yang siap untuk dikembangkan. Semakin dini kita memahami potensi kita, maka akan semakin mudah mengembangkannya. Termasuk potensi kemampuan yang sangat di butuhkan dalam mendukung kegiatan manusia di semua bidang kehidupan. Kemapuan tersebut adalah kemmapuan berpikir matematis yang sangat penting dan saat ini dianggap sebagai kemampuan dasar yang harus dikuasai oleh individu. Memiliki kemampuan berpikir matematika memberikan peluang keberhasilan yang lebih besar dalam tiap fase kehidupan, baik sebagai pembelajar maupun sebagai profesional.Pendapat para ahli dan hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa pemberian stimulasi matematika sejak dini sangat penting untuk mendukung kesiapan pada pendidikan matematika selanjutnya. Berdasarkan pengamatan tampak guru menggunakan metode konvensional dalam stimulasi mengenalkan konsep matematika pada anak usia dini dan berdasarkan wawancara dengan guru mendapatkan perbedaan persepsi dalam memandang pembelajaran matematika dan cara menstimulasi perkembangan matematika anak.Berdasarkan analisis awal dapat diidentifikasi Permasalahan sebagai berikut (1) Masih rendahnya kemampuan berpikir anak dalam memahami konsep matematika. (2). Rendahnya pemahaman Pendidik PAUD dalam melakukan stimulasi dan (3) Pembelajaran yang masih konvensional dalam mengenalkan konsep matematika. Oleh karena itu perlunya kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat untuk memberikan solusi pada permasalahan yang terjadi berupa: (1) Pemberian stimulasi perkembangan berpikir konsep matematika sesuai tahapan usia (2) Melakukan Sosialisasi capaian pembelajaran konsep Matematika pada anak usia 4-6 tahun dan (3) Pendampingan  Pemberian stimulasi yang inovatif.Pada kegiatan pengabdian ini digunakan metode diskusi. Namun sebelumnya dilakukan analisis kebutuhan melalui observasi dan wawancara pembelajaran matematika di PAUD dan kemampuan anak dalam mengenal matematika. Kuis diberikan kepada guru untuk megetahui sejauh mana pemahaman pendidik tentang stimulasi matematika anak usia dini. Kemudian kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan pemberian materi mengenai konsep perkembangan kemampuan berpikir matematika. Kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan sharing dan diskusi dan dikhiri dengan kuis untuk mengetahui sejauhmana keterserapan pendidik pada materi yang disampaikan. Tindak lanjutnya akan dilakukan monitoring oleh mahasiswa apakah kegiatan parenting berlangsung optimal dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir matematika pada anak.Berdasarkan hasil pre tes dan post tes diketahui ada peningkatan kemampuan anak dalam berpikir konsep matematika sebesar 20%.. Background: Toilet training is an attempt to train children to be able to control bowel movements. In Indonesia, it was found that 16% of children aged 6 years were still unable to do toilet training independently. One of the important factors in the success of children in doing toilet training is the parenting style applied by parents in educating children at home. Objective: to find out the relationship between parenting style and toilet training ability in pre-school aged children in Kutuh Kelod Banjar Ubud. Method: This study used an observational analysis design with a cross sectional approach. The study population was pre-school age children in Banjar Kutuh Kelod Ubud with sampling techniques using purposive samling. The instrument of this study used the observation sheet toilet training ability and parenting questionnaire. Analysis of toilet training capabilities with parenting using the Spearmans Rho test. Results: The study showed that most of the parents' parenting styles were democratic as many as 24 people (40%). The results of the Spearmans Rho test were parenting and toilet training abilities with a value of p = 0,000. Conclusion: This study found that there was a significant relationship between parenting care and toilet training abilities of preschoolers.Keywords: Parenting; toilet training; pre-school children

Parenting socialization activities regarding the importance of intellectual and character education in dealing with the times are to introduce and socialize true parenting education for the community. Thus, socialization participants are expected to be able to practice the material socialized to their children in everyday life, so that a generation with intellectual and character is produced. The socialization was carried out using direct observation, interviews, and socialization methods, by means of: lectures/providing information and training. As a result of these activities, participants gain knowledge related to parenting; and commit to practice it with their own children.

SMP Harapan Mulia adalah salah satu sekolah swasta di Kota Denpasar, sekolah ini memiliki program smart classroom yakni pembelajaran dengan menggunakan iPad dan Digital Books. Program ini diterapkan sebagai upaya adaptasi dengan perkembangan IT yang semakin pesat, program ini akan berhasil dan berdampak positif bagi diri siswa jika dibarengi dengan pola asuh yang baik dari orangtua sebagai bentuk kontrol. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut maka adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: 1) Pengaruh iPad terhadap hasil belajar siswa, 2) Pengaruh pola asuh terhadap hasil belajar siswa dan 3) Pengaruh iPad dan pola asuh terhadap hasil belajar siswa di SMP Harapan Mulia Denpasar. Penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional, populasinya seluruh siswa kelas VII dan VIII dengan sampel 67 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) nilai thit -0.186 < ttab 2,000 artinya variabel X1 tidak berpengaruh terhadap variabel Y 2) nilai thit 0.287 < ttab 2,000 artinya variabel X2 tidak berpengaruh terhadap variabel Y, 3) nilai Fhit 0.052 < Ftab 3,15 Artinya variabel X1 dan X2 secara simultan tidak berpengaruh terhadap variabel Y. Kontribusi variabel X1 dan X2 terhadap variabel Y sebesar 0,2% sisanya 99.8% dipengaruhi oleh variebel lain yang tidak diteliti.   Abstract Harapan Mulia Junior High School is one of the private schools in Denpasar City, this school has a smart classroom program, namely learning using iPad and Digital Books. This program is implemented as an effort to adapt to the increasingly rapid development of IT, this program will be successful and have a positive impact on students if it is accompanied by good parenting from parents as a form of control. Based on this background, the objectives of this study are to determine: 1) The effect of iPad on student learning outcomes, 2) The effect of parenting on student learning outcomes and 3) The effect of iPad and parenting on student learning outcomes at Harapan Mulia Junior High School Denpasar. This research is a quantitative descriptive with a correlational approach, the population is all students of class VII and VIII with a sample of 67 students. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, documentation, and observation. The results showed that: 1) the value of thit -0.186 < ttab 2,000 means that the X1 variable has no effect on the Y variable 2) the thit value of 0.287 < ttab 2,000 means that the X2 variable has no effect on the Y variable, 3) the Fhit value of 0.052 < Ftab 3.15 It means variables X1 and X2 simultaneously have no effect on variable Y. The contribution of variables X1 and X2 to variable Y is 0.2%, the remaining 99.8% is influenced by other variables.

Nutritional status is an expression of a state of balance in the form of certain variables or the manifestation of nutrition in the form of certain variables. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between parenting style and the level of parents’ economic income in improving the nutritional status of toddler during the COVID-19 pandemic in Barakati Village, Batudaa District, Gorontalo Regency. The research design used an analytical survey method with a cross sectional approach. the sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The results showed that there is a relationship between parenting style and the level of parents’ economic income during the COVID-19 pandemic with the nutritional status of toddler. The conclusion is that the majority of parents apply directive parenting with a low level of parental income, but this does not make parents’ attention to child nutrition neglected so that the average nutritional status of children is normal. Suggestions from this study are that parents can provide good parenting to children and pay attention to the nutritional status of children by utilizing food ingredients that are easily available but have good nutritional content.

Teenage pregnancy and parenthood among teenagers are still a matter of international concern because of the potential adverse consequences for society, families and individuals. Teen pregnancies are more than 80% unplanned. The transition to parenting experienced by teens creates a period of instability that demands new parenting roles. Parenting by adolescent mothers will be more effective when adolescent mothers receive strong social and emotional support from their families and partners. The purpose of this study was to explore social support for adolescent mothers in the care of infant children. Qualitative research methods with an Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) approach. Respondents in this study there were 5 respondents who met the inclusion criteria were taken using purposive sampling technique. The data was obtained using a semi-structured interview method. The research credibility was achieved by using triangulation of sources through interviews with the mothers of the main participants. The results showed that the five participants expressed various experiences of being a mother that varied when caring for infant age children depending on the situation experienced by each mother. Social support for adolescent mothers in child care includes 4 themes, namely 1). Instrumental Support, 2). Information Support, 3). Financial Support, 4). Emotional Support Based on the results of this study, it is hoped that there will be a special program for adolescent mothers, in which the role of health workers is able to support mothers' efforts to obtain optimal education and skills in parenting.

Anak Bawah Lima Tahun (balita) adalah anak yang telah menginjak usia diatas satu tahun atau biasa digunakan perhitungan bulan yaitu 12 – 59 bulan. Usia balita sebagai usia yang rentan terhadap berbagai serangan penyakit, termasuk penyakit yang disebabkan oleh kekurangan atau kelebihan asupan nutrisi jenis tertentu. Gizi kurang dapat dilihat sebagai suatu proses kurang makan yang terjadi pada balita ketika kebutuhan normal terhadap satu atau beberapa nutrien tidak terpenuhi atau nutrien-nutrien tersebut hilang dengan jumlah yang lebih besar daripada yang didapat. Pola pengasuhan yang berkontribusi dalam status gizi anak salah satunya adalah keterjaminan makanan. Pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak sangat dipengaruhi oleh peran ibu untuk mengasuh dan mendidik anak agar tumbuh dan berkembang menjadi anak yang berkualitas. Berdasarkan hasil pengkajian awal di wilayah RW IX Kelurahan Meteseh Kecamatan Tembalang yang merupakan wilayah binaan Puskesmas Rowosari terdapat 64 balita yang terdaftar di Posyandu, terdapat 1 balita yang beresiko tinggi mengalami gizi kurang (bawah garis merah) serta pengetahuan Ibu dalam masalah nutrisi masih kurang. Tim Pengabdian Masyarakat Akper Kesdam IV/Diponegoro mengadakaan kegiatan Parenting Class untuk mengoptimalkan pemenuhan kebutuhan nutrisi balita melalui pendekatan keluarga.

Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dengan latar belakang tentang pentingnya pendidikan orang tua dalam memberikan stimulasi anak untuk mengembangkan potensi anak sejak dini agar mencapai perkembangan yang optimal di masa depannya. Pada hasil penelitian Feri faila SufadanM Hery Y.S (2017) menunjukan peran parenting ternyata dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di Lembaga PAUD. Adanya kegiatan parenting yang terencana dengan baik sangat direkomendasikan untuk dilaksanakan oleh Lembaga PAUD.Pada Pengabdian ini akan melakukan optimalisasi parenting dalam menggali potensi anak. Guru dan orangtua perlu memiliki kemampuan menggali potensi anak sejak dini. Pada lembaga lembaga PAUD seperti TK, KB, SPS, aspek pengembangan moral agama, pengembangan bahasa, pengembangan kognitif, pengembangan sosial emosi , pengembangan fisik motorik, dan pengembangan seni menjadi struktur kurikulum yang selalu distimulasi oleh pendidik dalam prose pembelajaran PAUD. Diharapkan apa yang telah dilakukan pendidik dapat dilanjutkan oleh orang tua, sehingga perkembangan anak lebih optimal, karena waktu anak bersama orang tua dan keluarga lebih panjang daripada di sekolah. Karena setiap anak mempunyai potensi kecerdasan yang berbeda, diharapkan setelah orang tua dan guru dapat mengenali dan mengidentifikasi berbagai minat dan potensi kecerdasan anak, dan memberikan stimulasi yang tepat agar perkembangan anak lebih optimal. . Untuk mencapai tujuan pengabdian maka dilakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan pada guru dan orang tua. Sebelum dilakukan pelatihan, masih banyak dari orang tua siswa yang belum faham tentang hakikat pendidikan anak usia dini, penting PAUD bagi anak-anak. Para orang tua membawa anak ke lembaga PAUD agar tidak saja bermain di rumah, dan sebagian besar tidak faham akan tujuan PAUD secar umum. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah, diskusi, Pemberian Tugas dan Praktek Langsung. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian menunjukan bahwa orang tua yang dan guru yang bersama-sama.menjalin komunikasi yang baik dapat mengenali potensi anak nya sehingga stimulasi dapat dilakukan sejak dini dan anak lebih berkembang .
