Lawang Sewu merupakan suatu bangunan monumental yang ikonik di Kota Semarang, dimana keberadaannya tidak lepas dari perkembangan Kota Semarang, yakni keterkaitan dengan periode waktu pembangunannya pada waktu pendudukan Belanda di Indonesia, serta fungsinya pada waktu itu sebagai sebuah kantor perusahaan kereta api, dan juga letaknya yang stategis di jantung Kota Semarang. Berkaitan dengan periode waktu pembangunan, fungsinya dan juga letaknya, ditengarai sebagai dugaan awal gaya bangunan lawang sewu merupakan perpaduan antara bangunan klasik eropa yang telah disesuaikan dengan iklim tropis di Indonesia yang kemudian kita kenal dengan langgam kolonial. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membuktikan seberapa dalam aspek signifikan sebuah langgam atau gaya arsitektur kolonial pada sebuah bangunan ikonik di Kota Semarang yaitu Lawang Sewu. Ruang lingkup obyek material penelitian ini adalah bangunan lawang sewu, sedangkan ruang lingkup formal penelitian ini adalah pembuktian seberapa dalam langgam kolonial signifikan pada bangunan Lawang Sewu. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bukti kedalaman atau signifikansi langgam atau gaya arsitektur kolonial pada sebuah bangunan ikonik di Kota Semarang yaitu Lawang Sewu.

Broken home families, which are characterized by the breakdown of parental relationships, can have a negative impact on children's development, including spiritual emptiness. In this context, the role of Christian religious teachers is important in filling the spiritual void of children from broken homes. This article aims to investigate the role of Christian religious teachers in filling the spiritual void of children from broken home families and the strategies that can be used to achieve this. In the introduction, the article explains the meaning of a broken home family and identifies its impact on the child's spiritual emptiness. Then, the article continues by discussing the role of Christian religious teachers in filling the spiritual void in children. Christian religious teachers not only serve as teachers, but also as a source of spiritual support and example for children. Furthermore, the article reviews strategies and approaches that can be used by Christian religious teachers in filling the spiritual void of children from broken home families. Relevant and interactive teaching methods, building emotional relationships with children, and efforts to cultivate spiritual awareness through reflection and meditation are some of the recommended strategies.Through case studies that include the real experiences of Christian religion teachers, this article provides inspiring examples illustrating how Christian religion teachers have succeeded in filling the spiritual void of children from broken homes and achieving effective results. In the implications and recommendations section, the article highlights the important role of Christian religious teachers in filling the spiritual void of children from broken home families and emphasizes the need for collaboration between teachers, families and communities in supporting children's spiritual development. In conclusion, this article concludes that the role of Christian religious teachers is very important in filling the spiritual void of children from broken home families. With the right approach, Christian religion teachers can provide the spiritual support children need, assisting them in acquiring a sense of meaning, identity, and spiritual well-being.   Abstract: Christian religious education has the goal of teaching students the principles of Christian life, including moral values such as love, forgiveness, justice, and brotherhood. Christian religious education can help students understand and appreciate other religions with an inclusive attitude, tolerance, and respect for religious differences. However, there are several challenges that need to be overcome in implementing Christian religious education as an educational restoration agent to create a harmonious religious life in schools. One of the main challenges is the lack of understanding of religious moderation. In this research, the writer took the step of doing a literature study. Christian religious education plays a vital role as an educational restoration agent in creating a harmonious religious life in schools. Through teaching moral values, respect for religious diversity, character building, and interreligious dialogue, Christian religious education contributes to shaping students who live according to religious values and in harmony with fellow human beings.  

The currently developing economy is developing towards a market orientation where competition occurs in various activities within the national economy. Recently, the development of trade in Bojonegoro has developed, including in fruit retail, namely the Fruit Laskar shop which is famous for having several branches in almost all sub-districts in the Bojonegoro district, discount promos and price discounts are given on the grounds that there is an abundance of stock on the market so they can sell below the market and if it is termed using money burning, predatoring pricing or selling at a loss, business actors deliberately sell at a loss to dominate the market and in the long run to get multiple profits. The results of this study contribute a theory regarding demonstrating the concept of money burning business at Fruit Laskar Fruit Retail in Bojonegoro Regency in accordance with Islamic Economic Law. First, because the terms and pillars of Bai Muwada'ah are fulfilled, Second, when a sale and purchase contract occurs between the buyer and seller voluntarily, the third is related to the terms of transparency in the Bai' Muwad'ah contract, it is not an absolute requirement because the seller is not the buyer, and it is proven in the practice does not contain Ikhtikhar and tadris elements and there is no monopoly because in the current era it is difficult for this to happen, the concept of money burning when viewed from the objective of practice is carried out to dominate the market, gain large profits in the future, and this is what is similar or even similar to the capitalist concept , where actually this money burning is only a stepping stone to further become money capital or money accumulative. In the era of economic globalization, companies face complex challenges in meeting the ever-evolving needs of customers. The customer-centric strategy, which focuses on a deep understanding of customer preferences and experiences, has become increasingly relevant amidst intense competition and advancements in information technology. This study aims to explore the impact of customer-centric strategies on customer loyalty and retention in the retail and e-commerce sectors. Using a quantitative approach, data was collected through a survey of 200 customers who had interacted with the company for over a year. Multiple regression analysis showed that the variables of product quality, service personalization, effective communication, and overall customer experience had a significant impact on customer loyalty. The findings highlight the importance of service personalization and relevant communication in building long-term customer relationships. These results provide strategic insights for companies to develop customer-centric marketing policies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. The study also emphasizes the need for technology integration in implementing these strategies to address dynamic market challenges and ensure business sustainability.

This study aims to determine the library strategy to obtain library accreditation at SMP Negeri 1 Pekanbaru. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design with the main objective of providing an objective description or description of a situation. The method used is observation, interviews, documentation. The results of this study found that the strategies carried out by the head of the library Insan Cendikia to obtain national school library accreditation were procurement of books, procurement of infrastructure, arrangement of equipment in the library, cataloging and human resource development. The supporting factor is the existence of a library card number (NPP), the library building has reached an area of ​​168m² and there is a reading area, work area and bookshelf area and the books are neatly arranged, there is a library management structure, the relationship between the librarian and the head of the library is quite good , the number of collections of library materials has met the national school library standards as many as 2,520 titles with 2,737 copies and professional human resources, while the inhibiting factors are insufficient funding, incomplete facilities and infrastructure, insufficient book procurement, and support from school principals who less strong.

Sigapiton Village is one of the villages designated as a tourist village in Toba Regency based on the decision of the Toba Regent Number 665 of 2020, Sigapiton Village is designated as a Tourism Village. Sigapiton Tourism Village has the potential of a tourist attraction, but has not been developed to its full potential. This study aims to identify and describe the profile of potential tourist attractions owned by Sigapiton Tourism Village, identify and analyze internal and external factors that influence the development of Sigapiton Tourism Village, and develop tourism development strategies in Selulung Tourism Village. This study uses a qualitative method with the analysis of IFE, EFE, IE. Data collection was done by observation, interviews, Focus Group Discussion, giving questionnaires, examining documents and literature studies. The tourism potential of the Sigapiton Tourism Village is the potential for natural, cultural and man-made tourist attractions. Internal factors that influence the development of the Sigapiton Tourism Village are its natural and cultural attractions, tourism facilities, human resources and commitment to building a tourist village. External factors that influence are market trends (alternative tourism), well-known tourist destinations (Situmurun waterfall), Sister Village has been established between Silima Lombu and Sigapiton Tourism Village, and support from the government. The development strategy that can be applied in the Sigapiton Tourism Village is to develop tour packages that prioritize culture, art, local traditions, and agro-tourism, create interesting content marketing and carry out promotions, and build synergy with the surrounding tourist villages in Ajibata sub-district, Kabupaten Sigapiton. Toba.

Management of qualified, adaptive, and innovative human resources plays an important role in the digital transformation era. According to the Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah, this will support national economic recovery. In addition, building HR resilience for company safety and health is an important function of HRM. Employee health is also a crucial factor in maintaining business continuity. Based on news quotes from CNN Indonesia, HRM has a vital role in creating quality human resources to achieve optimal employee performance. Organizational culture and work discipline are driving forces to improve the quality of employee work. Organizational culture has long been used in daily activities to improve work quality. Meanwhile, discipline is an attitude of respect and following the rules. R2 test results show numbers Adjusted R Square of 0.741 or 74.1% which means the Organizational Culture variable (X1) and Work Discipline (X2) both affect performance (Y) by 74.1% while the remaining 25.9% are influenced by other variables. Organizational Culture (X1) partially affects employee performance (Y) with a t count of 3.369 > t table of 1.98447. Work Discipline (X2) partially affects Employee Performance (Y) with a t count of 6390 > t table of 1.98447. X1 and X2 variable simultaneously have a positive effect on variable Y with a calculated f value of 138.779 > f table 3.09.

In general, the values that need to be developed and internalized in the implementation of education in Indonesia, among others, religious, mutual cooperation, togetherness, humility, refinement, hospitality, tolerance, so that the unity and unity of the nation can be realized.

This Maimun Palace is the only and most prominent relic to show the existence of Malay culture in the city of Medan. When viewed from the shape and appearance of the Maimun Palace building, it has messages that are not directly visible, but in terms of visual communication, the Maimun Palace building also has a lot of information about the heyday, leadership and existence of the Malay Sultanate both in terms of appearance and the interior of the building. it has. This study aims to examine and describe the architecture of the Maimoon Palace building through historical and ornamental studies. This research was conducted in the Maimun Palace building located on Jalan Sultan Ma'moen Al Rasyid, Medan Maimun, Medan City with a qualitative descriptive research method. The type of data needed in this research is secondary. The results of this study indicate that the Maimun palace building is feasible for conservation.

Poetry is a literary work that contains the expression of the author's heart. Made using beautiful language, it contains meaning, rhythm, rhyme, dimensions and stanzas. Poetry has two main building structures, namely the inner structure and the physical structure. The poem contains several signs, both meanings that must be interpreted directly by the reader, as well as linguistic signs that do not require redefinition. The field that studies and examines signs, symbols and signs is called semiotics. Semiotics is a science or analytical method that studies signs in language or literary works, both linguistic and non-linguistic, with the aim of understanding the meaning to be conveyed by the author as a whole. Language is a complete and perfect sign system. Therefore, language represents something meaning. A semiotic study on the poem "Ibunda by WS. Rendra” is examined using semiotic methods. The purpose of this writing is to find out the meaning of one of WS' poems. Rendra. WS. Rendra is someone with beautiful and meaningful works. The method used in this work is a qualitative descriptive method that analyzes literary works or poetry based on the content of literary works, while the writing technique is literary studies. The results of this study indicate that the poetry written by WS. Rendra has a meaning that can be used as a reference for reader information and can be researched.  

Stunting remains a chronic nutritional issue affecting human resource quality in Indonesia, particularly children under five years old. High prevalence of stunting impacts long-term cognitive development, physical growth, and productivity of the young generation (Ministry of Health, 2023). This community service aims to optimize the role of public administration in disseminating policies and programs to reduce stunting through education, training, and direct community assistance. Activities were carried out through coordination with government officials, community health cadres, and local leaders, using local communication media to raise awareness about nutrition. The results indicate an increase in community knowledge on stunting, balanced nutrition practices, and active involvement of both officials and residents in stunting reduction programs. Optimizing public administration through capacity building, cross-sector coordination, and information technology utilization supports program targets. This service recommends strategies for sustainable, participatory, and data-driven program implementation.

Community participation in social service activities is a crucial indicator of community-based social development. However, the level of participation is often influenced by various structural and cultural factors, including the role of community organizations as key mobilizers of collective action. This activity aims to identify factors affecting community participation in social service activities in Bintan Sub-district, analyze the role of community organizations in facilitating and organizing these activities, and assess their impact on strengthening synergy and collaboration among residents. The method employed included a socialization session on the importance of community organizations in community empowerment, followed by social service activities in the form of collective environmental clean-up and greening programs through tree planting around public facilities. The findings indicate that increased collective awareness, local leadership, and organizational support significantly enhance community participation. Furthermore, social service activities contribute to strengthening social cohesion, fostering a sense of togetherness, and promoting stronger synergy and collaboration among community members in Bintan Sub-district.

Household environmental problems such as poor waste management, the practice of burning waste, and limited use of home yards remain major challenges in creating clean and healthy residential areas. Dasawisma, as the smallest unit within the PKK structure, holds a strategic role in fostering environmental awareness and pro-environmental behavior at the family level. This Community Service Program (PkM) aims to build an environmentally caring community through strengthening the role of Dasawisma, improving members' knowledge, and encouraging new habits in household environmental management. The method used a participatory approach consisting of problem identification, interactive counseling sessions, hands-on practice in waste management and yard utilization, and field mentoring. The results indicate an increase in members' understanding of environmental issues, behavioral changes in sorting organic and inorganic waste, simple composting practices, and the cultivation of plants in home yards. In addition, collective awareness and the emergence of local leaders helped sustain the environmental movement within the community. This program demonstrates that strengthening Dasawisma is an effective family-based empowerment strategy to support social transformation toward a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable environment.

The method applied was a participatory and qualitative descriptive approach, involving both the community and orphans in all stages of the activity, from planning, implementation, to evaluation. The results indicate a significant improvement in social interaction quality between the community and orphans. The children exhibited positive emotional responses, such as comfort, acceptance, and appreciation, while the community demonstrated increased participation, collective responsibility, and structured social management skills. The integration of empathetic communication and social management produced dual impacts: enhanced emotional well-being of orphans and strengthened social empathy within the community. These findings suggest that this strategy can serve as a sustainable model for social care activities and can be replicated in other communities. Therefore, the application of empathetic communication and social management has the potential to support inclusive social development, foster community solidarity, and improve the welfare of vulnerable groups sustainably.

Mengingat pendidikan karakter akan berjalan dengan baik jika sistem pendidikan nasional mendapat dukungan yang baik, maka nilai-nilai dalam pendidikan karakter dapat dilaksanakan secara berbeda berdasarkan metode pengajaran guru. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi guru bahasa Inggris SMP dan SMA dalam menyampaikan nilai-nilai karakter dalam pembelajarannya di sebuah sekolah swasta di wilayah Bandung. Dengan menggunakan desain penelitian kualitatif melalui kuesioner, wawancara dalam pengumpulan data, penelitian ini menghasilkan bahwa sebagian besar guru di sekolah menengah telah menerapkan pembentukan nilai karakter dalam cara mereka mengajar, dalam berbagai kegiatan di kelas. Kesimpulannya, meskipun implementasi dari implementasi character building bisa berbeda-beda untuk setiap guru bahasa Inggris, dan kemajuannya tidak dapat diketahui secara instan, upaya tersebut telah dilakukan secara efektif. Oleh karena itu, guru harus terus-menerus mengubah cara mengajarnya agar siswa tidak benar-benar “sadar” bahwa karakter mereka dibangun secara singkat, dan mengabaikannya sebagai pendidikan nilai yang diacu.

This activity emerged from the inspiration and desire of the writers to improve the English language skills of students in the neighborhood where the writers live, namely neighborhood V, Sei Putih Barat sub-district, Medan Petisah District, North Sumatra Province, who basically still have difficulties in understanding the language. English, especially in the Vocabulary aspect, is why the authors held this activity with the hope that students will have good knowledge after participating in this activity. Community Service (PKM) is an integral aspect of community progress and sustainable development. By actively engaging in community-based initiatives, individuals, organizations and institutions contribute to addressing social problems, building trust and fostering social cohesion. This activity involved around 20 students ranging in age from 8 - 12 years. This activity will be carried out for around 3 days, namely 17 – 19 November 2022 with a duration of 90 minutes/session. The song titles used are (1) Hokey Pokey, (2) 10 little Indians, (3) Head shoulders knees and toes, (4) Bingo, (5) Good Morning, (6) ABC, (7) Old Mc Donald had a farm, (8) London bridge is falling down, (9) There was an old lady who swallowed a fly, (10) There was an old lady who swallowed a fly, (11) 10 green bottles, (12) If you 're happy and you know it. After carrying out this activity, the students showed an increase in vocabulary, it was seen that they were able to fill in the blanks to complete the song after listening to it several times.

Heritage buildings are not only concerned with the shape and design of heritage that has been passed down from one generation to the next. The materials and technologies used are part of the inheritance of objects and intangibles that help strengthen the authenticity in a heritage work. This activity is a collaboration between the heritage community in Semarang City and Manilla City who visited Semarang. This activity aims to understand the authenticity of a heritage architectural work through material and technological elements in Asia through a comparison of similar works in the cities of Semarang and Philippine. The results of this activity are expected to be able to find a picture of authenticity in several examples of traditional architectural works in Asia and provide alternatives for the formation of place identities both in the city of Semarang and Manila.
