The results of this study the usefulness that can be taken from the creation of sustainable tourism Bukit Batu Galugur are: sustainable tourism operations can help local communities by creating new business possibilities and improving the economy. The growth of the internet has influenced the tourism industry because the internet makes it easier for individuals to obtain reviews about places to visit and because the internet is a tool used by tourist site managers to assess the quality of their offerings. The increase in the number of tourists of almost two million in just three years in West Sumba is proof of this influence. Social media is a tool that people use to interact with each other online; some people have multiple accounts on platforms such as Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram, Twitter, and so on. Tourists can receive recommendations for tourist attractions based on price and type of trip desired through a tourist attraction recommendation system that uses the KNN algorithm. Three factors were used in this research: activity, type of tourism, and type of price. An accuracy of 63.16% is found in the test results using the KNN algorithm and the Rapid Miner application with a K value of 5. The analysis results show that the K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) approach can be used as a guideline for recommending tourist destinations to visitors in West Sumba.

The Taman Pujaan Bangsa Margarana National Monument (TPB Margarana) is a memorial monument built to commemorate the Puputan Margarana tragedy. Currently, the number of tourists visiting is still very small, this affects the income obtained is not enough to cover the maintenance and operational costs of TPB Margarana. Digital Marketing Training and Tour Guide Training as an effort to develop the potential of TPB Margarana to increase the number of tourists visiting so that it is expected to have an impact on the sustainability of the TPB Margarana Struggle History Museum. Training and mentoring methods are used in this activity. The training method is designed to convey the important role of digital marketing and tour guide competence to increase the number of visits to TPB Margarana. Digital marketing training and Tour Guide Training were attended by 20 TPB Margarana employees. The output of this activity is in the form of publication of activities through electronic mass media, draft teaching materials and draft community service articles. This activity also provides benefits for TPB Margarana, namely increasing competence in the field of digital marketing and tour guides for TPB Margarana employees and for the Bali State Polytechnic campus as the implementer of activities to share their knowledge with the wider community.

The development of tourist villages has become a global trend driven by cultural and environmental preservation, as well as its potential to increase local community income. The purpose of this research is to analyze the development strategy of Jatirejo Village, Gunungpati District, through the Spot Selfie Competition, which leverages the village's potential to attract tourists, especially the younger generation. This competition is not merely a selfie spot contest but also an effective tourism promotion tool that can spark community creativity in creating attractive selfie spots. The results of the study show a positive impact on increasing tourist numbers, local income, and the preservation of culture and the environment. Moreover, this spot selfie competition introduces innovation in the sustainable management of tourist villages. This research is expected to contribute to effective and sustainable tourist village development policies in Indonesia

Tukad Bindu, a river tourism site in Denpasar, Bali, attracts a significant number of domestic tourists. However, it currently lacks a well-defined strategic plan for sustainable development, which is crucial for establishing it as a competitive tourist destination in Denpasar City. This study aims to identify the development potential along Tukad Bindu, Denpasar, Bali, using qualitative methods and SWOT analysis. The research primarily focuses on river revitalization as a catalyst for tourism, enhancing agricultural productivity, tourist attractions, and fostering active community involvement. The findings suggest that the SO (Strengths-Opportunities) strategy can be employed by maintaining river revitalization as a key driver for tourism while also boosting agricultural productivity and tourist attractions. The ST (Strengths-Threats) strategy involves empowering the community through active participation to mitigate potential threats. The WO (Weaknesses-Opportunities) strategy is facilitated by providing educational programs through the Denpasar City Environmental Service to the surrounding community. Meanwhile, the WT (Weaknesses-Threats) strategy underscores the importance of collaboration with the government and private sector to improve tourism promotion, develop cultural and agricultural tourism attractions, and ensure the sustainability of future programs. This study recommends the adoption of these strategies as concrete steps to fully leverage the development potential around Tukad Bindu, Denpasar, Bali. The successful implementation of these strategies is anticipated to positively impact tourism, agriculture, and the welfare of the local community.

This study aims to determine the effect of tourist attraction quality on tourist satisfaction at Becici Peak, Yogyakarta. The research method used is quantitative with simple linear regression analysis with the independent variable of tourist attraction quality and the dependent variable is tourist satisfaction. Data were collected through distributing questionnaires to 100 tourist respondents at Becici Peak, Yogyakarta. The results showed that the quality of tourist attractions had a positive and significant influence on visitor satisfaction at Becici Peak by 68.3%, the remaining 31.7% was influenced by other variables not examined in this study. This study provides practical implications for Becici Peak managers in improving the quality of tourist attractions to increase visitor satisfaction.

The focus of research in writing this thesis is (1) What is the tourism development strategy to increase tourist visits to the Puncak Jowin Tulungagung tourist attraction? (2) What is the strategy for developing human resources to increase tourist visits to the Puncak Jowin Tulungagung tourist attraction? (3) What is the most effective role of media in reaching and influencing the target audience of tourists, especially in the context of digitalization and developments in information technology? This type of research is field research using a descriptive method approach. In collecting data researchers used the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. Researchers double-checked to obtain the data obtained and used triangulation techniques, with the aim of obtaining data validity. After that, analyzing it through data reduction and making conclusionsng the validity of the data uses source triangulation and technical triangulation. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the research results show that (1) tourism development strategies to increase tourist visits to the Puncak Jowin Tulungagung tourist attraction are carried out in various ways, including strategies including adding tourist attractions, developing accessibility, developing amenities, developing public facilities. the role of government. (2) human resource development strategy to increase tourist visits to the Puncak Jowin Tulungagung tourist attraction by implementing a capacity building strategy which includes Human Resource (HR) Development, Strengthening organization, Institutional reform (institutional reform) (3) Media strategy that most effective in reaching and influencing the target audience of tourists, by referring to technical and practical means. by implementing promotions on various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Tiktok to influence the audience of data tourists to Puncak Jowim tourism.

Parsariran nature tourism is located in Batang Toru District, South Tapanuli Regency, which is one of the famous tourist destinations. This project aims to discuss the sustainability of the community empowerment process carried out with the development of tourist villages including forms of community empowerment and the results of community empowerment carried out. The approach to this aproject uses qualitative methods to discuss community characteristics and tourism potential. Data collection in this project was obtained through interviews and observation. The results of observations stated that there were many factors that made Parsariran Tourism in the Batang Toru sub-district a tourist destination with a high number of enthusiasts, including cool air, lots of hot springs, high community productivity and a fairly high rainfall factor which made the potential for hydropower development. Forms of community empowerment involve the role of the community from planning to implementing activities. The programs that have been carried out are in the form of socialization and training which includes socialization on tourism marketing strategies, socialization on tourism safety, socialization on tourism management systems and training on recycle or recycling of waste. Empowerment of the community through the development of tourist villages has implications for improving the quality of tourism and managing nature tourism in a more sustainable tourism area.

Canyoning adventure tourism is a form of nature tourism activity that provides extreme and challenging experiences for tourists. However, the high level of risk in this activity requires a comprehensive risk management approach to ensure the safety and comfort of participants. This study aims to analyze risk-based canyoning tourism management activities in the Canyoning & Caving area, Bogor, Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews with tour managers, canyoning guides, and tourists who have participated in the activity. In addition, direct observations were made of field conditions and facilities provided. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of effective risk management is very important to minimize the potential for accidents and negative impacts on the environment. Some of the main risks identified include unpredictable weather conditions, terrain difficulty, and lack of participant experience. The risk mitigation strategies implemented include intensive training for guides, the use of international standard safety equipment, and the preparation of clear emergency procedures. This study is expected to be a reference for other canyoning tourism managers in developing safe and sustainable adventure tourism in Indonesia.

This research aims to evaluate the governance of the Breksi Cliff Tourism destination in Yogyakarta based on the Sapta Pesona indicators. Breksi Cliff, which was originally a mining site, has developed into an attractive geological tourism destination thanks to the creative efforts of the local community. This research used a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 170 tourists who visited Tebing Breksi. The analysis was carried out using Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) to identify gaps between the level of importance and performance of Sapta Pesona indicators consisting of security, order, cleanliness, coolness, beauty, friendliness and memories. The results of the analysis show that most of the indicators are in quadrants I and II, which means they are considered important by tourists but their performance varies. Indicators such as staff knowledge, cleanliness of toilets and environmental planning are considered important and have good performance, while road access and prompt service require improvement. Based on these results, it is recommended to maintain good performance and improve aspects that have not met tourist expectations in order to improve the quality of tourism and the competitiveness of Tebing Breksi as a geological tourism destination.

This research assesses the strengthening of community empowerment in Semau District, East Nusa Tenggara, through digital marketing training to optimize local tourism potential. The training includes the use of the Canva application for promotional design, village registration on the Village Tourism Network platform (Jadesta), and the establishment of the Semau Tourist Information Center (S-TIC). The results of the training indicate an improvement in digital skills among village cadres and the effective establishment of the S-TIC. However, administrative challenges such as the lack of Village Tourism Decrees hinder registration in Jadesta. This effort is expected to enhance visibility and economic well-being, as well as ensure sustainable tourism development in the Semau District.

This research was conducted in Kampung Ragam Warna in Kampung Mranggen, Kutoharjo Village, Kaliwungu District, Kendal Regency, where with poor environmental conditions economically and socially, these deficiencies can be transformed into a potential for sustainable tourist villages. This study analyzes the potential of local art and culture as the main attraction in the development of tourist villages. Through a qualitative approach, this study identifies various forms of art and culture that can be developed and the challenges faced in the process. The results of the study indicate that strengthening the creative economy based on art and culture not only increases the competitiveness of tourist villages, but also encourages the active participation of local communities in preserving cultural heritage. Empowerment of local communities and collaboration between the government, creative industry players, and the community are the main keys to creating sustainable tourist villages. In conclusion, an integrated and sustainable development strategy can increase tourist attractions and strengthen the position of Kendal Regency as a superior cultural tourism destination.

This study aims to identify the potential and development strategies for a community-based tourism village in Asap Indah Tourism Village. Data were obtained from observations, interviews, and literature studies. A SWOT analysis was applied to determine the weaknesses, strengths, opportunities, and challenges of developing Bedono tourism village, which can be used to determine the appropriate strategies for community-based tourism development in Bedono Village, Sayung District, Demak Regency. In this research, the process of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing was carried out simultaneously. The research results concluded that Asap Indah Tourism Village in Wonosari Village, Bonang District, Demak Regency has high potential for development into a community-based tourism village, including fish smoking, water apple agro-tourism, local restaurants, and Bule fishing spots. Based on the SWOT analysis, several strategies can be enhanced to develop Asap Indah tourism village in Wonosari Village, Bonang District, Demak Regency, including strategies for developing tourist attractions, such as creating integrated tourism packages and holding special events; forming a tourism management team; enhancing promotion strategies; improving infrastructure; improving tourism human resources; and strengthening cooperation with stakeholders and investors. If these potentials are developed by involving and empowering the local community, they can increase the value and benefits for the local population in terms of economy, socio-culture, religion, and environment.

This paper assesses the capacity-building program for tour guides in Pokdarwis KWIK Berkah Mandiri at Adiluhur Tourism Village, aimed at supporting Kebumen Regency’s bid for UNESCO Global Geopark status by 2024. The program utilizes a participatory approach with intensive training and workshops to enhance knowledge, communication skills, and storytelling related to local geological and cultural heritage. English language training is also included to improve interactions with international tourists. Featured on Asterdewi.id, the new "Go English Geopark" program contributes to better service quality, enhanced tourist experiences, and increased local engagement in geopark promotion and conservation. The program plays a significant role in Kebumen’s goal of achieving UNESCO Global Geopark status.

Jeruk Manis Village is a village resulting from the expansion of Kembang Kuning Village, after its expansion Jeruk Manis established itself with new branding as a tourist village that is already known for its natural beauty and green rice fields that refresh the eyes. In its efforts to build a tourist village that promises visitors, Jeruk Manis has not provided adequate facilities such as the lack of tourist information for visitors, as well as inadequate changing rooms in several tourist attractions. Therefore, the purpose of KKN PMD University of Mataram for the July-August 2024 period is to optimize tourism in Jeruk Manis Village through making Tourist Information and improving Changing Room facilities. The implementation method used is field survey, location planning, design or design, and program implementation (production and promotion). The results obtained from the making of Tourist Information and Changing Room improvements have a stronger impact on the progress of the branding of the Jeruk Manis Tourism Village, with Tourist Information being a reference for foreign visitors when visiting Jeruk Manis Village. In addition, the placement of the Changing Room made of bamboo which adds to the attractiveness also ensures the comfort of visitors.

The purpose of this study is to determine how much location influences visitors' decisions regarding whether or not to visit the Aek Milas Rania Hot Spring Baths tourist attraction. A quantitative method, accidental sampling testing is used to describe information in the research strategy. 92 individuals comprised the quantitative sample for this study, which was conducted with SPSS version 21. By utilizing the t test to dissect the information, the t count was 17.585 and the t table with an importance level of 5% was 1.665, which shows that the t count was more prominent than the t table. This demonstrates that location influences a person's decision to visit the Aek Milas Rania Hot Spring tourist attraction in the Ulu Barumun District of the Padang Lawas Regency.
