This research aims to look at the contribution of marine tourism to coastal communities in Indonesia, with a focus on a maritime sociology perspective. Marine tourism is a form of tourism related to activities and destinations centered around the sea or waters. This research utilizes maritime sociology as a relevant perspective for understanding the social life of coastal communities. Maritime sociology is applied as a study involving values, norms and social interactions that are formed through the connection of coastal communities with the sea. The research method uses a qualitative library study approach. Using a literature study approach, this research explores and analyzes various literature sources related to the social impacts of marine tourism in Indonesia's coastal areas. The research results show that (1) Increased social interaction between coastal communities and tourists, creating new dynamics in social relations. (2) The values ​​and norms of coastal communities are influenced, both through cultural exchange with tourists and through adaptation to new values. (3) The social structure is experiencing changes.

Karo is a district in the province of North Sumatra, Indonesia. The capital of this district is located in Kabanjahe sub-district. Karo Regency is located on the Karo plateau, in the Bukit Barisan mountains. The purpose of writing this journal is to find out the strategies used to develop the attractiveness of the Berastagi fruit market for tourists. The research method in this journal is quantitative research. The quantitative research used is survey research. This research collects data obtained from the Karo community. The result of this research is that the government is participating in developing the attraction for tourist attractions in Berastagi, namely the fruit market.

Local cultural tourism in the village has become an increasingly interesting topic in the context of local economic development and preservation of cultural heritage and exotic experiences for tourists. The implementation of this service aims to provide a deeper understanding through socialisation activities in the application of local cultural tour packages as alternative tourist attractions in the Huta Tinggi Tourism village. The method of implementing this service activity is through a one-day seminar with the stages of observation, building communication regarding the willingness of partners, presentation of material, questions and answers and preparation of reports on the programmes that have been carried out. The focus of this socialisation presentation examines the economic impact, cultural preservation, and community participation in tourism development. By presenting tourist attractions that highlight the uniqueness of Huta Tinggi's local traditions, arts and culture, the village can maintain their heritage and encourage a better understanding of their cultural wealth, which is where the importance of this activityties.

The writing of this article was carried out to show and provide education to tourists about what is in the Cirendeu traditional village and what prohibitions there are in the Cirendeu traditional village, so that it can be used as a tourist attraction in Cimahi for tourists. By using the observation method, searching for online-based data and information and also conducting research directly by visiting the Cirendeu traditional village. The Cirendeu traditional village has cultural and artistic values that are still present in their lives. By conducting this research, we hope that tourists will realize and care more about how important it is to maintain the natural beauty and cultural values in a tourist destination. Cireundeu Traditional Village is one of the Tourist Attractions (DTW) in the cultural aspect and is the only traditional village that applies the tourist village concept in Cimahi City. Cireundeu Traditional Village has a variety of potential, but has not been managed and developed well so it has not yet become a sustainable tourism destination. Thus, this article will analyze the various potentials as well as the shortcomings and weaknesses of the Cireundeu Traditional Village, so that the strategy for developing this tourist village can be known.

Mojowono Village is one of the villages in Kemlagi District, Mojokerto Regency, East Java Province which has local potential, namely agriculture, animal husbandry, MSMEs and tourism. Tourism potential in Mojowono Village can be developed because it has potential natural resources (SDA) and human resources (SDM). Tourism development activities aim to grow tourism businesses based on local potential in Mojowono Village, foster community creativity, and increase community economic resources. Tourism development is carried out through two programs, namely installing signboards between two reservoirs (Segawe Reservoir and Trunhyang Reservoir) in Mojowono village and environmental greening in the area around Segawe Reservoir. Implementation of the program involves the active role of the Mojowono Village Government and the community around the reservoir area. The installation of name signs at these two reservoirs has been able to attract tourists to visit Mojowono Village. However, there needs to be sustainability efforts through improving tourism infrastructure, increasing human resources for tourism managers and increasing tourism publications, promotions and branding so that Mojowono Village continues to develop as a tourist village in Kemlagi District.

Waqf is one of the Islamic social instruments that has a dual role, namely as a religious institution and as an economic instrument. Waqf can improve the welfare of the ummah, support government spending, and absorb labor. The author applies a descriptive qualitative approach using the literature study research method. This method involves collecting data from various literatures, especially articles from scientific journals relevant to the research topic. Halal tourism is a travel concept that fulfills the principles of Islamic sharia in every aspect. The purpose of halal tourism is to provide a vacation experience that complies with religious principles for Muslim tourists, which includes spiritual, cultural, and also their practical needs while traveling. From the research conducted, it appears that the optimization of waqf assets has great potential in creating significant employment opportunities and can reduce the unemployment rate.

Maros is one of the districst that has interesting tourist attractions known as waterfalls, so that for the sake of sustainability the role of the local government of Maros regency is needed. This type of research uses a qualitative approach, with a sample of 15 people consisting of employees, officers, and the community. Base on the results of the research, it showns that the government’s role as a regulator is always balancing, between the wishes of tourists and tourist objects in bantimurung Nasional Park. A side from being a regulator, the government is also a facilitator, motivator, and dynamicator.

Community empowerment in Pearung Village through preserving the Sipinsur Geosite is part of tourism development efforts. This research uses a literature detective method and the author reveals that the search for economic and social potential resulting from the management of natural resources and the tourism sector in an area. Indonesia as a country rich in natural resources has great potential to improve its economy and regional growth through tourism development. Pearung Village in Humbang Hasundutan Regency, North Sumatra, is a clear example of how the use of the Sipinsur Geosite is an initiative in tourism  development. This not only creates an attraction for visitors but also empowers local communities. The government has an important role in supporting community empowerment through education, training and infrastructure improvement programs. The impact can be seen in economic growth, improving the quality of life, and infrastructure development in Pearung Village. Tourism development not only increases the number of tourists, but also brings significant changes in the daily lives of residents, such as improving the agricultural sector and improving infrastructure.

However, the role of culture is so important, this culture still lacks attention from the government and surrounding communities. The Minahasa cultural museum in Tomohon City is a means of storing and providing information for the community and tourists to find out more about the culture in Minahasa, as a solution. The problem is that there is no Minahasa cultural museum in Tomohon City. With a Deconstruction Architecture approach by creating buildings that contrast with abstract and complicated shapes, so that they can attract tourists but can also attract local people to visit the museum.

Sharia tourism policy is a government effort to develop the tourism sector by prioritizing sharia principles in all aspects. These measures include services that value Islamic teachings, such as sharia-based places to stay, restaurants that serve halal food, and entertainment programs that adhere to Islamic ethics. The aim of this policy is to increase the attractiveness of tourism among Muslim tourists and at the same time create a tourist environment that is in accordance with Islamic teachings. Thus, the sharia tourism policy is expected to contribute positively to economic growth and fulfillment of the spiritual needs of the local community. sharia tourism is the implementation of sharia principles into a form of travel activities of sharia tourist destinations. The development of Islamic tourism is currently growing rapidly because it is very much in demand by Muslim tourists who are looking for alternative travel in accordance with the principles of Islamic sharia, this research reaches the implementation of the concept of Islamic tourism in tourist destinations that are very popular and in great demand in areas with a majority Muslim population. This research uses a qualitative approach that analyzes accommodation, culinary, and tourist activities that integrate Islamic values, the results of this study show that Islamic tourism policies have a significant impact on the economic development of the region, this research discusses the Islamic tourism system and its policies where these two things have a significant impact on local economic development, through a case study approach and economic data analysis, this research identifies the effect of regional tourism policies on regional economic development.

 Indonesia has many forms of society that differ from one another. And on the island of Sumatra, especially North Sumatra, there are several forms of society that still adhere to customs and culture very well in this era of globalization and modernity. One of them is the Education Village in North Sumatra Province, precisely in Pematang Siantar, namely, Jabu Sihol. Jabu Sihol Educational Village, apart from being a cultural village that still has cultural heritage, is also a tourist village that tourists can visit. Jabu Sihol is a project located in Pematangsiantar, in northern Sumatra, Indonesia. Jabu Sihol tourist village has interesting education for tourists, namely cultural education and cultivation education. This research aims to determine tourism education in the Jabu Sihol tourist village and to determine the development of education. The research method used was field research, observation and interviews with management. The results obtained from this research are that the Jabu Sihol tourist village has cultural tourism education in the form of Ulos weaving, learning Batak script, Batak dance, typical Tapanuli cuisine and cultivation education in the form of farming, fish cultivation and ABF maggots. The educational development carried out is the development of cultural education and cultivation education.

The research aims to: (1) empirically examine the influence of food quality on tourist satisfaction, (2) the influence of destination image on tourist satisfaction, (3) the influence of destination image on tourist satisfaction, (4) the influence of tourist satisfaction on revisit intention, and (5) the influence of food product quality and destination image on revisit intention through tourist satisfaction. This study adopts a quantitative method. The population of the research consists of tourists who engage in culinary tourism in Semarang city, with a sample size of 125 respondents selected through accidental sampling technique. After reviewing the theory, the research instrument scale is adapted and distributed to the respondents. Once the data is collected, the next step involves data coding. The collected data is then analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to obtain information regarding the influence of the independent variables, namely food product quality and destination image, on revisit intention in culinary tourism with tourist satisfaction as the intervening variable. The results of the research indicate that: (1) food quality empirically influences tourist satisfaction, (2) destination image influences tourist satisfaction, (3) destination image influences tourist satisfaction, (4) tourist satisfaction influences revisit intention, and (5) food product quality and destination image influence revisit intention through tourist satisfaction.

The role of Pokdarwis in carrying out the development of an area is considered strategic in building an equal distribution of welfare for local communities. Pokdarwis Srikandi, which is based in the Tinjomoyo sub-district area of Semarang, is expected to be able to develop the potential of its area into tourism business activities that can revive the economy of the people in the area. With the average management and members having different educational backgrounds, the Pokdarwis management must work hard to continue to equip and improve the abilities of their members, especially in governance management, because they are the spearheads of the Pokdarwis in providing services to visiting guests or tourists. The form of governance management Technical guidance activities include lectures on Pokdarwis governance, with material related to Pokdarwis administrative governance provided. The next implementation of capacity and capability improvement is the implementation of financial administration training carried out by creating simple financial reports and directly practicing the process of recording the organization's income and expenditure transactions. Governance management capabilities are needed to realize the sustainability of tourism management in the Tinjomoyo Village area, especially in administrative management and financial administration management.

Tanjung Kasuari Village is one of the areas located in Southwest Papua. This sub-district  is one of the places in  Southwest Papua that has a lot of natural and tourist potential which can be utilized by the local  community to meet their living needs. However, most people only take  advantage of the tourism  potential, namely the beauty of the beach as a tourist attraction. This can be seen from the large number of visitors to Tanjung Kasuari beach, especially on holidays. The community focuses more on serving tourists who visit the beach. For this reason, the PkM team conducted serveys and interviews regarding the obstacles faced related to the lack of utilization of natural potential. Based on the results of interviews with several sample residents, the community does not yet have ideas about utilizing natural potential. The team provided solution in the form of education, namely how to make and package chips from breadfruit which could become will be more creative and innovative in developing other natural potentials.

Village development activities are an integral part of the Merdeka Campus Competency Program (PKKM) in line with MBKM KKNT. Participating students perform community service as proof of their commitment to strengthening and supporting their community, in accordance with the principles of the Three Dharma Universities which include teaching, research, and devotion to the community. Village Development Program in Penangungan Village, Trawas, Mojokerto, attractive tourist destinations near the mountains, is a real step forward in providing ideas and solutions to the problems of the village community. The Trawas area is a famous tourist destination, with beautiful natural environments, cafes, and tourist attractions that contribute significantly to the village economy. Some destinations in Trawas, such as the Kecambung Valley, are newly opened on October 12, 2023, but may be missed as tourists tend to visit places that are widely discussed in the Trawas area. UPN DKV students focus Bina Village's work program on branding Agrowisata Valley Kecambung to increase the attractiveness and visibility of this new destination.

Tropical ocean tourism destinations are very common in Indonesian waters and are one of the main attractions for foreign tourists from abroad, especially for tourists who are looking for exclusive experiences such as cruise ship travel. This can certainly provide economic benefits to the Indonesian tourism industry and support the economy of the local community. However, it cannot be denied that the high volume of tourists in a tourist destination can affect the sustainability of the marine environment in the future. Through this research, the author will discuss the challenges of environmental incident management for tropical marine tourism destinations, with a focus on the incident of the Caledonian Sky Cruise Ship's collision with coral reefs. In this research, the author will focus on the obstacles and challenges that exist in the process of resolving the Caledonian Sky Cruise Ship case which is reviewed in various aspects, namely international and national law. By combining the methods of policy analysis, case studies, and library research, the author will identify aspects related to the Caledonian Sky Cruise Ship incident. In this research the author will discuss the Indonesian government's efforts in resolving the case and the various challenges that exist in the process of resolving the Caledonian Sky Cruise Ship incident

Management of traditional villages by local communities (community based tourism) is the most important element because the community can become a driving force if it is managed and developed through the concept of tourism. The lack of variety in tourist activities in traditional villages and the activities that can be done are relatively the same, causing tourists who visit to feel bored and bored. Qualitative research was used in this study to describe factually, systematically and in detail regarding the management of community-based traditional villages in Sijunjung Regency (CBT). Data was collected using observation techniques, interviews, using 5 informants and documentation. Data was obtained from primary data in the form of the number of tourist visits to traditional villages, secondary data in the form of the organizational structure of traditional village management, and other documents. Based on the research results, it is stated that the management of traditional villages uses 4 basic management functions, namely Planning, Organizing, Actuating and Controlling.

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of public facilities on tourist interest in visiting the Guruh Gemurai Waterfall tourist attraction in Kasang Village, Kuantan Mudik District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau Province. The method used in this research uses descriptive quantitative methods. The population is all tourists who visit the Guruh Gemurai Waterfall tourist attraction and the total average number of tourists in January-June 2023 is 100 tourists and the sample is set at 30 people. Data was collected using positive closed items totaling 22 items, namely 12 items for variable Riau Province: 1) Test analysis requirements: a) positive relationship test obtained by the value rxy = 0.461 > rtable(α=0.05,n=30) = 0.361, thus it is known that there is a positive relationship between variable X and variable Y. b) Testing a significant relationship obtained a value of tcount= 2.746 > ttable(α=0.05,dk=n-2=28)= 2.048, thus there is a significant relationship between variable X and variable Y. c) Test the regression coefficient of determination ( r2) = 21.2%. 2) Influence test: Regression equation test, obtained regression equation. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Meat Village is one of the tourist villages in Tampahan District, Toba Regency. Tourism development is an effort to develop or promote tourist attractions to attract tourists and make tourist attractions more attractive in terms of location and object. The aim of this research is to determine Community Based Tourism Development. Based Tourism), and to find out community empowerment and its role in developing the Meat Tourism Village. The number of informants in this research was 7 (seven) people. This research is a qualitative type of research. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation. The approach taken is a descriptive approach, based on natural and cultural resources, community groups and village government. The research results show that there are; (a) natural and cultural resources, showing that the village's potential can support the arrival of visitors, (b) community groups to increase community creativity in developing and preserving cultural traditions in Meat Village, (c) the village government which play an important role in efforts to develop the village so that it can attract the attention of tourists if it fulfills the seven charms of tourism, (d) the role of the community who participates in carrying out village activities so that the village remains clean, safe and cool so that anyone who comes to visit can enjoy the tourist attractions is in Meat.

The purpose of this study is to determine the strategy for developing tourism potential of Prongil Julu village, Tinada district, Pakpak Bharat district. This study uses qualitative research methods and uses SWOT  (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis with three informants. The results of this study depict that developing tourism potential in Prongil Julu village has several advantages such as fresh air, cultural attractions, quite complete facilities,  hospitality of people and  entrance to the capital of Pakpak Bharat regent. However, there are also weaknesses such as underdeveloped infrastructure, lack of tourism promotion as well as lack of public interest and attention towards tourism. There are also opportunities to develop tourism through community tourism training, partnerships with the private sector and leveraging the benefits of Lae Mbilulu Falls to attract tourists. However, threats such as competition with destinations other than  Prongil Julu Village and environmental damage also need attention. Based on these SWOT results, the author proposes a number of strategies to develop tourism potential such as infrastructure development, increased tourism promotion,  tourism product development and cooperation with the private sector and  Pakpak Bharat District Tourism Board. It is hoped that this strategy can help Prongil Julu Village maximize its tourism potential for economic growth and regional development.
