One of the most common problems that occurs for MSMEs is in their development. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to business performance in order to be able to survive and excel in competition. This study aims to test the influence of human resource competence, financial literacy, financial capital, and social capital on the performance of MSMEs in Tempel District, both partially and simultaneously. The research approach uses a quantitative method with questionnaire instruments distributed to 99 respondents of MSME actors through non-probability sampling techniques. Data analysis was carried out using the SEM-PLS method with the help of SmartPLS 4.1.0.9 software, through outer model testing (validity and reliability test) and inner model (VIF, GoF, R2 test and hypothesis test). Hypothesis testing is carried out through the t-test and the f-test. The results of the study show that partially human resource competence, financial literacy, and financial capital have a significant positive effect on the performance of MSMEs, while social capital has a positive but insignificant effect on the performance of MSMEs. The results of the research simultaneously show that human resource competencies, financial literacy, financial capital, and social capital have a significant effect on the performance of MSMEs. The implications of these findings emphasize the need for strategies to strengthen human resource competence, increase financial literacy, optimize financial capital, and develop social capital to strengthen the competitiveness and sustainability of MSMEs in the research area.

Profitability is a key indicator in assessing a company’s financial performance, particularly in the personal care industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This study aims to analyze the effect of Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on profitability as measured by Net Profit Margin (NPM). The research employed a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis based on the financial statements of personal care companies for the 2021–2024 period. The findings reveal that ROA has a positive and significant effect on NPM, indicating that the more efficiently a company manages its assets, the higher the net profit margin achieved. Meanwhile, ROE and DER show no significant effect on NPM, implying that shareholder equity returns and debt utilization in the capital structure have not directly enhanced net profitability. These results suggest that optimal asset management is a crucial factor in improving the financial performance of personal care companies.

This research aimed to determine the influence of human resource competence, accounting information systems, and internal control systems on financial performance at Obor Mas Credit Union. The research used a quantitative approach with a population of 110 permanent employees of Obor Mas Credit Union, while the sample was determined to be 52 respondents using the Slovin formula. Data were obtained through questionnaires distributed to respondents and processed using multiple linear regression analysis with the aid of statistical software. The research results indicated that human resource competence, accounting information systems, and internal control systems, both partially and simultaneously, did not have a significant impact on cooperative financial performance. This finding confirmed that improved financial performance was not solely determined by these three internal factors but rather requires more comprehensive strategic planning and managerial policies. This research was expected to contribute theoretically to the development of accounting science and serve as a practical consideration for credit union managers in improving the effectiveness of financial management.

Increasing competition in the food industry requires companies to not only focus on product innovation and market expansion but also on strengthening internal human resource capabilities through long-term strategies. PT. Surya Pratista Hutama addresses this challenge by implementing a Talent Management Sistem (TMS) designed to identify, develop, and retain high-potential employees (HiPos), while simultaneously ensuring sustainable leadership development and succession planning. This study employed a qualitative case study approach by utilizing observations, in-depth interviews, and a paper review to obtain comprehensive insights into the company’s practices. The findings reveal that the identification of HiPos is carried out through a rigorous and consistent process using the 9-box grid as a key assessment tool. The emphasis on consistency in evaluation highlights the organization’s effort to ensure fairness and accuracy. Employee development is facilitated through multiple strategies, including formal training, mentoring programs, job rotation, and other structured learning initiatives. Retention strategies focus on providing competitive compensation packages, developing financial literacy skills, and fostering a collaborative organizational culture that values employee contributions. The implementation of TMS at PT. Surya Pratista Hutama has shown positive impacts, particularly in reducing employee turnover rates and improving leadership performance. However, the study also identifies several challenges, especially related to the need for clearer procedural guidelines and more specific development strategies to optimize outcomes. Overall, this research demonstrates that a well-structured TMS can serve as an effective mechanism for building sustainable human resource capabilities in highly competitive industries such as food manufacturing.

This study investigates the relationship between business ethics and VAT implementation with the aim of assessing the combined effect of both on the financial performance of B2B companies. The main theories underlying this study are the Ability to Pay Theory, Stakeholder Theory, and Ratio Analysis Theory. The study uses a positive research philosophy approach and a quantitative case study design with a structured questionnaire involving 30 respondents from PT Bhinneka Mentari Dimensi or Bhinneka.Com, the oldest B2B e-Commerce company in Indonesia. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results show that VAT implementation indirectly affects financial performance through business morality. This mediating role is associated with stakeholder theory and the ability to pay. The low direct effect of VAT is related to an efficient company structure, company size, and reliance on self-reported data. B2B companies should embed business ethics principles in their operations, with management implementing a framework to ensure accountability in tax reporting and practices. The originality of this study contributes to the literature by emphasizing the distinctive role of business ethics as a bridge in the relationship between VAT implementation and financial performance of B2B companies, shifting attention from general tax compliance to specific VAT mechanisms and incorporating ethical dimensions in financial analysis.

The capital market is a place for various investment instruments, ranging from short-term to long-term. Before buying shares in the capital market, investors need to analyze the share prices of selected companies to predict large profits. The higher the share price, the greater the possibility of making a profit. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the stock prices of companies in the hotel, resort, and shipping sub-sectors listed on the IDX for the period 2019–2024. The dependent variable in this study is stock price, while the independent variables are financial performance and sustainability report disclosure. Financial performance variables are proxied by DER, Current Ratio, ROA, and TATO. This is a quantitative study using secondary data obtained from annual reports and sustainability reports taken from the companies' official websites. The number of samples used in this study is 10 companies using classical assumption techniques, multiple linear regression analysis, determination tests, and ending with hypothesis testing. The results show that DER and Current Ratio have a negative effect on stock prices. ROA, TATO, and sustainability report disclosure partially have no effect on stock prices. Meanwhile, financial performance and sustainability report disclosure simultaneously affect stock prices.

This study aims to examine the effect of financial inclusion, accounting information systems, and e-commerce on the financial performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). MSMEs play a crucial role in supporting regional economic growth, thus enhancing financial performance is a crucial aspect. The study sample comprised 84 MSME owners in Sleman Regency, drawn using the snowball sampling technique. Data collection was conducted through online questionnaires using a Google Form link to facilitate respondents' completion and to broaden the reach of respondents. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS software to determine the extent of the interplay between the variables studied. The results indicate that financial inclusion has a positive effect on MSME financial performance. This indicates that the easier access for MSMEs to formal financial services, the better their financial performance. Similarly, accounting information systems have also been shown to have a positive effect, where the implementation of a good accounting system can improve the quality of transaction recording and financial decision-making. Conversely, e-commerce has not been shown to have a significant effect on MSME financial performance. This finding indicates that the use of e-commerce by MSMEs in Sleman is not optimal in supporting improved financial performance.

This study aims to explain the procedure for processing the Notice of Readiness (NOR) document for coal-carrying vessels at PT. Armada Lintas Baruna Bandar Lampung and to identify the consequences that occur when the NOR is submitted late or contains inaccuracies. As vessels from international shipping companies frequently call at Indonesian ports to transport coal abroad, companies must continuously improve service efficiency and reliability to support national shipping and trade performance. PT. Armada Lintas Baruna plays a key role in managing export vessels, particularly coal carriers, from loading ports to their country destinations, and the NOR serves as a crucial document through which the Ship Master declares that the vessel is fully prepared to load or discharge cargo during the charter period. The NOR service process includes several stages: verification of vessel readiness by the agent, preparation and submission of the NOR document, verification by the port authority, issuance of NOR confirmation, and document closing. Delays or errors in NOR submission can disrupt the vessel’s operational schedule, potentially causing financial losses for shipowners through demurrage charges. This paper employs both field research and library research to provide an in-depth understanding of the NOR service mechanism.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the murabahah contract in the Home Ownership Credit (KPR) financing product at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Cimahi Branch Office. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that the KPR financing mechanism at BSI Cimahi Branch Office has been running in accordance with sharia principles established by the National Sharia Council (DSN-MUI). The process starts from customer application, wakalah contract, to the implementation of the murabahah contract with the principle of transparency of the principal price and profit margin agreed in advance and fixed throughout the financing tenor. The implementation of this system provides payment certainty for customers and protects against the risk of interest rate fluctuations. In terms of performance, Murabahah KPR financing at BSI Cimahi Branch Office has contributed significantly to the financing portfolio with a low level of Non-Performing Financing (NPF) and positive growth every year. However, challenges still exist in the amount of the down payment and the attachment of a fixed margin that can be a burden for customers with limited financial capabilities. Overall, the murabahah contract has proven to be an effective, transparent, and sharia-compliant instrument in supporting home ownership for the Muslim community in Indonesia.

This research aims to analyze the financial performance of the Koperasi KSP Kopdit Pintu Air Kewapante Branch using the Sustainable Growth Rate (SGR) approach. This type of research is quantitative, using financial report data from KSP Kopdit Pintu Air Kewapante for the period of 2020 to 2024. The data is analyzed by calculating the Retention Ratio (RR), Return on Equity (ROE), and the Sustainable Growth Rate (SGR) value each year. The results show that the highest SGR value was achieved in 2021 at 11.04%, while the lowest value occurred in 2023 at 0.70%. Generally, the SGR trend showed fluctuations, with a decreasing trend after 2021. This is attributed to the decline in profitability and the cooperative's ability to retain earnings. This finding indicates that although KSP Kopdit Pintu Air Kewapante Branch has a fairly good financial performance, the sustainability of its financial growth needs to be anticipated with more optimal management strategies. This study proves that the Sustainable Growth Rate approach can be used as a quantitative measuring tool to assess the financial performance of cooperatives and provide a basis for strategic decision-making.

Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) faces challenges in optimizing financial performance and market valuation following the merger process in 2021. This study aims to analyze the influence of Third Party Funds, liquidity, and Islamicity Performance Index on BSI stock prices during the period 2021-2025. The research employs multiple linear regression analysis method using monthly data from BSI financial reports and stock price data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results indicate that Third Party Funds have a negative but non-significant effect on BSI stock prices, suggesting that increases in Third Party Funds do not automatically enhance stock valuation as investors are concerned about the profit-sharing burden that must be paid. Liquidity has a positive and significant effect on stock prices, demonstrating that fund distribution efficiency is the primary factor evaluated by investors. The Islamicity Performance Index has a negative and significant effect on stock prices, confirming that investors interpret high sharia compliance indices as reducing profitability for shareholders. This study confirms that investors in evaluating Bank Syariah Indonesia stocks prioritize operational efficiency over operational scale or sharia compliance orientation.
