Villages have a very important role in development in Indonesia, so the role of villages in development must be recognized and developed to ensure the achievement of welfare and progress of the village community. In running the government in a village, the village government certainly requires a number of funds. In Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages, it is stated that villages have sources of income in the form of original village income, budget allocations from the State Budget (APBN), part of the results of regional taxes and regional levies of districts/cities, Village Fund Allocations which are part of the balancing funds received by districts/cities, financial assistance from the provincial APBD and district/city APBD, grants and donations that are not included from third parties, and other legitimate village income. As an implementing regulation of Law 6 of 2014 concerning Villages, the Government issued Government Regulation Number 60 of 2014 as amended by Government Regulation Number 22 of 2015 concerning Village Funds Sourced from the State Budget. Village Funds are funds sourced from the APBN which are allocated for villages that are transferred through the district/city APBD and are used to finance the implementation of government, implementation of development, community training, and community empowerment.

The development of the creative economy has become one of the main drivers in improving community welfare, especially in rural areas. Margajasa Village, located in South Lampung Regency, has significant potential for developing an environmentally friendly creative economy. However, a lack of understanding and skills in creating innovative products remains a major challenge. To address this issue, a community service team initiated an educational and training program on ecoprint product development for local residents, including PKK members and village officials. This program utilized the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method through socialization and hands-on training. The results indicate an increased understanding among participants regarding the ecoprint concept and its business potential. Additionally, participants were able to create simple ecoprint products with the potential to generate additional income. This initiative is expected to serve as an initial step toward realizing a sustainable, eco-friendly village through a creative economy.

Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are a global health challenge, especially in low- and middle-income countries. Early identification of NCDs in the productive age group is very important considering the contribution of the productive age group to the national workforce and its impact on the health of future generations. This community service activity aims to increase awareness and participation in school-based non-communicable disease screening programs, especially at St. Yoseph High School, East Jakarta. The implementation of screening activities includes anthropometric examinations, blood pressure, blood sugar, and short interviews. Students with unhealthy lifestyles, such as lack of physical activity and unbalanced diets, are at high risk of developing non-communicable diseases. This activity encourages public awareness of the importance of maintaining health to prevent non-communicable diseases. This can reduce the global health burden and the economic burden for advanced disease care. Thus, this activity can improve the quality of life of the productive age population in the future.

This study analyzes the effectiveness of the MSME empowerment program in Madura Regency in improving community welfare. Empowerment programs that include entrepreneurship training, access to capital through People's Business Credit (KUR), and business assistance show positive results in increasing the capacity of business actors. Based on survey data, most of the program participants experienced an improvement in business management and marketing skills. The positive impact was also seen in the increase in average household income by 30% and the opening of new jobs. However, challenges remain, especially related to the equitable distribution of benefits in rural areas, low digital literacy, and program sustainability. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method, supported by the Theory of Change theory to analyze the impact of programs on socio-economic changes in the community. The results of the study show that the empowerment of MSMEs makes a real contribution to the welfare of the community, although continuous evaluation is needed to ensure the sustainability and equitable distribution of program benefits throughout the Madura Regency area. By strengthening the synergy between the government, financial institutions, and local communities, it is hoped that the impact of MSME empowerment can be more optimal.

This active role is carried out by providing facilities such as cow seeds, vitamins and cage making. The participatory role of BUMDES is carried out through awareness and socialization to the village community directly. The role of BUMDES in empowerment through the cattle profit-sharing program can increase income where those who used to only rely on as farm workers now with the cattle profit-sharing program managed by village-owned enterprises (BUMDes) can now raise their own cows. Obstacles to BUMDES in Community Empowerment Through the Profit-Sharing Program in Mahakam Regency include technical obstacles in maintenance, the existence of predators that attack livestock and fluctuations in the selling price of cattle. Another obstacle is the lack of knowledge of cattle farmers in the maintenance process, this is due to the lack of special training for cattle farmers.

This study explores Mohammad Hatta's influence on housing policies in Indonesia, highlighting his integration of Islamic principles into public policy to enhance societal welfare. Hatta viewed housing as a fundamental human right that extends beyond physical needs to encompass spiritual and social dimensions. Grounded in Islamic values such as justice (‘adl), trust (amanah), and solidarity (ta'awun), his policies aimed to ensure equitable access to adequate housing, particularly for low-income communities, while promoting holistic well-being. Hatta’s vision aligned with Islamic teachings that emphasize fairness and state responsibility in fulfilling basic human rights, as reflected in QS. An-Nisa: 58. His ideas inspired initiatives like the Sejuta Rumah (One Million Houses) Program and Tapera (People’s Housing Savings), which address housing disparities and support societal harmony. Additionally, Hatta championed cooperative-based housing development, fostering community participation and mutual assistance, which not only ensured affordable housing but also empowered local economies. By integrating Islamic principles into housing policies, Hatta demonstrated how public policy could balance material, social, and spiritual needs to achieve sustainable societal welfare. His approach offers a valuable framework for future housing programs to promote justice, inclusivity, and collective prosperity.

Water hyacinth is an aquatic weed that is often found in tropical and subtropical areas. The existence of this plant often has a negative impact on the environment. Various efforts have been made to overcome the water hyacinth problem, including the use of pesticides. However, inappropriate use of pesticides actually causes plant resistance to pesticides, so that these efforts become less effective in controlling their growth. To overcome this problem, training was held for village communities to use water hyacinth as a basic material for handicrafts. This training aims to change people's views which previously considered water hyacinth as a nuisance plant into an economic opportunity. By processing water hyacinth into a marketable product, it is hoped that the community can increase their income while overcoming environmental problems
