The increasing sedentary lifestyle in the digital era has the potential to cause various health problems due to lack of physical activity. One approach that can be taken to encourage physical activity is through the use of digital games with body movement-based control mechanisms. This study aims to develop a body gesture-based game character control system using a hybrid Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) model. CNN is used to extract spatial features from each video frame, while LSTM serves to model the temporal relationship between frames so that movement patterns can be recognized sequentially. The research method used refers to the Machine Learning Lifecycle stages, starting from data collection, preprocessing, model development, to implementation in the endless runner game genre. Testing results show that the CNN–LSTM model is capable of classifying body gestures and generating outputs that can be used as commands to control game characters. The implementation of this system enables more natural and interactive game interactions without conventional input devices, and has the potential to encourage players to lead a more active lifestyle.

Language and news have a close relationship because language is a medium to convey news. In news, the use of noun phrases is important to pay attention to, so that there is no misunderstanding. Therefore, this study aims to analyse the use of object phrases in news texts, focusing on their elements, types, and functions. In this research, two approaches are used, namely qualitative descriptive and syntax. The results show that in the news text, there are various variations of noun phrases. This diversity is seen in the different patterns of phrase formation, which differ in structure and constituent elements. The type of noun phrase that is often found is the subordinate noun phrase. The results showed that noun phrases can occupy syntactic functions as long as their use does not exceed the limits of sentence structure. In Indonesian syntax, noun phrases can function as subjects, objects, or descriptions. Therefore, noun phrases play an important role in the formation of a sentence.

This research is motivated by the importance of phrase analysis in syntactic studies for understanding the structure and relationships among components within Indonesian sentences. As grammatical units, phrases play a strategic role in shaping meaning, so they should be examined in terms of their constituent elements and their functions in the text. This study aims to analyze the use of adjectival phrases and prepositional phrases found in news texts. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method with observing and note-taking techniques, supported by a syntactic theoretical approach. The findings show that there are twenty-five adjectival phrases and sixty-eight prepositional phrases identified in five news texts published on Tempo.com in August 2025. “lebih cepat” is one example of an adjectival phrase found in the texts, while “ke arah pendemo” is an example of a prepositional phrase. These findings indicate that Indonesian phrases have systematic formation patterns and complementary syntactic functions. This research serves as a useful reference for the development of syntactic studies, linguistic learning, and the analysis of phrase usage in various language contexts.

This study examines Ad-Dakhil in Tafsir Al-Azhar by Buya Hamka, focusing on Israiliyyat narrations found in the interpretation of Qur’anic narrative verses in Juz 1–10. The research is motivated by the position of Israiliyyat as a form of infiltration (ad-dakhil) in Qur’anic exegesis that may affect the objectivity of interpretation, particularly in contemporary tafsir works. This study aims to identify the distribution of Israiliyyat narrations, classify their thematic patterns, and determine the status of each narration based on the critical framework of ad-dakhil fi at-tafsir. This research employs a qualitative library-based approach. The primary source is Tafsir Al-Azhar by Buya Hamka (Gema Insani, 2017), supported by classical and contemporary tafsir literature as well as scholarly works on Israiliyyat. Data were analyzed using the theory of ad-dakhil fi at-tafsir, classifying narrations into three categories: accepted (maqbul), rejected (mardud), and suspended (tawaqquf). The findings reveal seventeen Israiliyyat narrations scattered throughout Juz 1–10, originating from the Old Testament, the New Testament, Wahb bin Munabbih, ‘Abdullah ibn Mas‘ud, and Tafsir Ibn Kathir. These narrations fall into nine major themes, including the creation and origin of humanity, the story of Prophet Adam and his descendants, Prophet Ibrahim, Prophet Ya‘qub, Prophet Musa and Bani Israil, Prophet Sulaiman, Prophet Zakariya, Prophet ‘Isa and his people, as well as accounts of previous nations. Of these seventeen narrations, eleven are classified as rejected (mardud), five as tawaqquf, and one as accepted (maqbul). These results emphasize the necessity of critical engagement with Israiliyyat narrations in tafsir literature to preserve the integrity of Qur’anic interpretation.

This research is driven by the urgency of maintaining the quality of the Indonesian language in the realm of online journalism, particularly on major media platforms such as CNN Indonesia. Online media plays a central role as the primary source of information, but the speed of publication often encounters linguistic errors that have the potential to damage credibility and lead to misinterpretation among readers. The focus of the study on syntactic errors is crucial because errors in sentence structure, diction, and conjunctions directly affect the meaning and effectiveness of communication. This study aims to analyze and describe the forms of syntactic errors (including sentence pattern errors, non-standard diction, and conjunction redundancy) and offer recommendations for improvement based on standard Indonesian language rules. The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with a syntactic approach. Data in the form of linguistic units at the phrase, clause, and sentence levels from all CNN Indonesia news texts for the period of August 2025, collected using the Listen and Note Technique. The findings are anticipated to show a dominance of sentence ineffectiveness, incorrect use of conjunctions, and temporally illogical diction errors. This research is expected to contribute as a practical guide for editors and news writers to improve the quality of editing, while also supporting literacy efforts and the use of good and correct Indonesian in the digital public space.

The dynamics of the development of Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Al Hikmah cannot be separated from the role of the principal’s communication. Analogous to the human body, communication functions as blood that must flow to all parts. This constitutes one of the foundations for quality development. The communication strategy of the principal of MTs Al Hikmah in quality development exhibits distinctive characteristics. The principal is able to establish highly effective communication despite not having an educational background in communication studies. The principal employs prophetic-based communication strategy to enhance institutional quality. This study is qualitative research employing a phenomenological approach. Data were collected through interviews with the principal, foundation caretakers or administrators, teachers, parents or students, and stakeholders. In addition, interview data were systematically dialogued with documents and observations. After data collection, the data were analyzed using prophetic and quality-based approaches. The analytical process involved data condensation and triangulation to ensure the scientific accountability of the findings. The communication implemented operates effectively according to its roles as persuasive, informative, collective-regulative, and integrative, with a linear pattern through channels of direction, instruction, and task assignment aligned with institutional objectives. (b) The direction of the communication strategy is predominantly top-down rather than bottom-up within formal school contexts, guided by ethics of liberation, humanization, and decentralization. Diagonal communication is conducted with several informants, such as vice principals for curriculum, student affairs, and facilities and infrastructure, through various communication platforms. Interpersonal communication is also well established, with a strong emphasis on motivating subordinates from multiple perspectives.

Land conflict between the Sihaporas indigenous community and PT Toba Pulp Lestari (TPL) remains an ongoing agrarian issue that directly affects the community’s livelihoods. The inclusion of the company’s concession within the customary territory has changed patterns of land control and use that were previously managed collectively across generations. This situation restricts access to agricultural land and forests, reduces sources of income, and creates social tensions and confrontations. This study aims to analyze the impacts of land conflict on the Sihaporas indigenous community and to examine the conflict through a political ecology perspective with a focus on power relations among actors. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings show that the conflict affects economic, social, and cultural aspects of the community and reflects unequal power relations between indigenous peoples, corporations, and the state in controlling agrarian resources.

The rapid development of digital technology has led to an increased adoption of digital payment methods in online transaction-based businesses. However, in practice, failures and limitations in the implementation of digital payment systems still occur, potentially disrupting transaction processes and reducing customer convenience. Payment related obstacles may result in transaction cancellations and increase the risk of customer churn. This study aims to analyze the impact of failures and limitations in digital payment methods on customer churn using a classification-based approach. The data used in this research are secondary e-commerce customer data obtained from the Kaggle platform, including transaction information, payment methods, customer behavior, and historical transaction records. The research methodology consists of data preprocessing, time-based feature engineering, and classification modeling using logistic regression, decision tree, and random forest algorithms. Model performance is evaluated using accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, and confusion matrix metrics. The results indicate that the decision tree model demonstrates superior capability in identifying churn customers compared to the other models, although it does not always achieve the highest accuracy. In addition to digital payment methods, other factors such as purchase value, transaction frequency, purchase timing patterns, and product return rates also influence customer churn. The findings highlight the importance of optimizing digital payment systems as part of customer experience enhancement strategies and customer retention efforts in online transaction–based businesses.

Mammae aberrans in the axilla is a developmental abnormality caused by the persistence of breast tissue along the milk line and can cause fluctuating axillary masses due to hormonal stimulation, with a reported prevalence of approximately 0.4–6%. Methods: This article is presented as a descriptive case report based on data from the Department of Surgery at Cut Meutia Regional General Hospital, North Aceh, including medical history, physical examination, routine blood tests, fine needle aspiration biopsy (FNAB), excision, histopathological examination, and follow-up. Results: A 16-year-old female patient complained of a lump in her right axilla for approximately two years, which had enlarged in the last month and caused severe pain before menstruation. Examination revealed a mass measuring approximately 3×3×2 cm, without lymph node enlargement, and normal routine blood tests. Two FNAB punctures showed fat droplets/matrix without epithelial proliferation or malignant cells (benign smear) with the impression of aberrant mammary glands. The patient underwent mass excision; histopathology showed mature fatty tissue and fibrocollagen accompanied by ductular proliferation without signs of malignancy, and at the 1-week follow-up, the pain had disappeared and the lump was no longer visible. Discussion: The cyclic pain pattern associated with menstruation is an important clue for distinguishing aberrant mammary glands from differential diagnoses of axillary masses in adolescents, while excision provides diagnostic certainty and symptom improvement. Conclusion: Mammae aberrans should be considered in adolescents with axillary masses affected by the menstrual cycle, and excision is recommended in symptomatic cases for histopathological confirmation and resolution of complaints.
