Introduction: The incidence of postpartum blues is a change in the mother's psychology which is influenced by fatigue factors that arise after the birth and breastfeeding process. This can influence changes in the routine of caring for the baby which requires extra attention from the mother. Handling postpartum blues can use spiritually based non-pharmacological techniques in the Islamic religion using murattal Al-Qur'an. This study aims to determine the influence of spiritual cognitive therapy murattal Al-Qur'an (Surah Ar-Rahman) on the incidence of postpartum blues in RSUD SUBANG. Methods: This research method is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design with pre and post with control group. The number of respondents in this study was 24 in the intervention group and 24 in the control group. Data collection for this research used the EPDS scale (Edinburgh Postpartum Depression Scale) with data analysis using the Wilcoxon test and the Man-Whittney test. Result: The results of this study showed a difference in the pre-test and post-test of the intervention group with p = 0.000. Aging is often accompanied by sleep problems that have a negative impact on the well-being of older adults, such as reducing their quality of daily life and triggering a higher risk of chronic diseases, depression, and cognitive decline. To address this issue, the physiotherapy team held an educational program at the Arjosari Village ILP in Malang City, which aimed to equip older adults with knowledge about the value of quality sleep. The material was delivered through simple brochures, two-way discussion sessions, and assessments through initial and final tests. A total of 15 people participated, and from the opening discussion, about 80 percent of them admitted to having frequent sleep disturbances. Before the event, a survey showed that their understanding was still minimal, especially regarding what healthy sleep is, the triggers of sleep disturbances, the benefits of good sleep, the signs of sleep disturbances, and steps to overcome them. After the counseling, there was a significant increase, with the level of understanding reaching more than 86 percent on all topics. These results prove that community-based educational approaches such as this are very effective as a means of empowerment and early prevention. Activities such as this should be made a routine to support the overall health of the elderly.

Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It is transmitted through the air, specifically through droplets expelled by sufferers when coughing or sneezing. TB is divided into two main types: pulmonary TB, which attacks the lungs, and extrapulmonary TB, which can affect other organs such as the pleura, lymph nodes, skin, bones, and meninges. In the Community Health Center (Puskesmas) work area, 77 new cases of pulmonary TB were recorded from January to April 2025. Meanwhile, coverage of Tuberculosis Prevention Therapy (TPT) only reached 44.7%, still below the national target of at least 50%. This condition indicates the need for increased health promotion activities and community diagnostic approaches as promotive and preventive measures, in order to increase TPT coverage and reduce the incidence of TB. The results of the respondent questionnaire showed that the level of public knowledge about TB reached 64.6%, positive attitudes at 94%, and preventive behavior at 72%. Based on these findings, it is recommended that outreach activities be conducted regularly to improve public understanding, which can ultimately encourage behavioral changes and reduce TB cases.

Acute pain is a common complaint following surgery in patients with femur fractures and can hinder recovery if not managed effectively. This study aimed to describe the application of Benson’s relaxation therapy in reducing pain after Open Reduction and Internal Fixation (ORIF) for femur fracture. A nursing care case study was conducted on Mrs. S, an 82-year-old woman, in the Central Operating Theatre of Labuang Baji General Hospital, Makassar. Assessment was performed in the post-anesthesia care unit, followed by the identification of the nursing diagnosis Acute Pain (D.0077), intervention using Benson’s relaxation therapy combined with collaborative pharmacological analgesia (ketorolac), implementation, and one-hour evaluation. Results showed a reduction in pain intensity from a score of 6 to 4 on the Numeric Rating Scale, a change in pain pattern from continuous to intermittent, and improved vital signs along with decreased behavioral indicators of pain (grimacing, restlessness, and protective posture). These findings indicate that Benson’s relaxation therapy is an effective non-pharmacological intervention for managing acute postoperative pain, consistent with theoretical evidence that this technique reduces pain perception through muscle relaxation, deep breathing, and reinforcement of spiritual beliefs.

Acne vulgaris is one of the most prevalent dermatological disorders in Indonesia, often affecting adolescents and young adults. This condition not only causes visible skin lesions but also has a profound impact on psychological well-being, leading to decreased confidence and reduced quality of life. Effective management of acne vulgaris requires consistent use of prescribed medications, with doxycycline being one of the commonly recommended systemic antibiotics. This study aimed to evaluate the level of patient adherence to doxycycline therapy for acne vulgaris at Roels Clinic, Ponorogo, during the period of March to April 2025, and to identify factors that may influence this adherence. A descriptive research design was utilized, employing a structured questionnaire distributed to patients who met specific inclusion criteria. The adherence level was assessed using a 5-point Likert scale, and the average percentage was computed and classified into compliance categories. The findings revealed that among 50 respondents, 70.6% demonstrated a “fairly high” level of adherence to doxycycline treatment. These results suggest that most patients follow the prescribed regimen appropriately. High adherence is expected to improve therapeutic outcomes, accelerate recovery, and minimize the potential for antibiotic resistance, which remains a growing concern in dermatological and public health settings.
