Cloves are one of the richest sources of phenolic compounds such as eugenol, eugenol acetate and gallic acid and have great potential for pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food and agricultural applications. The aim of this community service activity is to provide knowledge regarding the benefits of cloves, which are applied in the form of cosmetic preparations, as well as providing training to partners so that their use is optimal and practical, and it is hoped that this can become a business opportunity.        The solution proposed in this service activity is (1) providing knowledge about clove plants, (2) procuring materials in the form of medicinal plants for making preparations. (3) procurement of containers for the packaging process (4) conducting Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) training to partners so that partners can make them independently.         In service activities, the method used is an approach to the collaboration partner "SMK Mandala Bhakti Surakarta" providing counseling about clove plants and training as a transfer of science and technology (IPTEK) to make cosmetic preparations as well as evaluating the results of activities by giving partners the opportunity to practice making preparation.

Learning with Stimulus Environment Problem Solving (SEPS) is an involved learning process student in a way active good in network nor outside network in reading, writing, doing experiment, and analyze, as well look for solution to the problem social related science environment public.  This study aims to know the effectiveness of the Stimulus Environment Problem Solving (SEPS) learning model so that can increase ability think level high among students biology education Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. Method in study this is correlate ability think critical and solving problem 2 groups student a total of 40 students where is one group totaling 20 students use learning model of Stimulus Environment Problem Solving (SEPS) and other groups with Project based Learning. Analysis hypothesis using the t test and effect size. Based on application of the Stimulus Environment Problem Solving (SEPS) model in the classroom experiment experience increase in t test results significant in cycle I and cycle II. Based on the effect size test, the effectiveness of the Stimulus Environment Problem Solving (SEPS) model is included in category tall with value 3.244 so effectiveness of the Stimulus Environment Problem Solving (SEPS) model on Skills think level tall own category tall.

Apgar is an examination of newborns with five aspects of assessment, namely skin color, heart rate, reflex response, active muscle tone and breathing. Early detection with assessment is very important for health and the growth and development process. A low Apgar score can indicate immunological abnormalities in the neonate such as respiratory, heart and neurological problems as well as a risk of neonatal sepsis. There is still little information on the Apgar assessment given to pregnant women. The partner of this service activity is the Pregnant Women's Community at Gajahan Surakarta Health Center. The aim of this outreach activity is to provide a forum for information to pregnant women at the Gajahan Surakarta Community Health Center about the Apgar assessment and determine the level of understanding of this education. A baby is said to be healthy if it has an Apgar score of more than seven. The educational method provided is through the lecture method, distributing leaflets about the Apgar score. To measure the level of understanding and knowledge, a pre-test was carried out before delivering the material and a post-test after being given education. Based on the results of the pre-test and post-test comparison of 27 respondents, the average score increased from 77.7 to 91. Participants were enthusiastic in taking part in this activity and there was an increase in pregnant women's understanding of the Apgar score

Stunting is a growth disorder caused by inappropriate nutritional disorders, where the prevalence of stunting in Indonesia reaches 29.7% and Surakarta is ranked second in the number of stunting cases in Central Java with 1,050 cases. Banyuanyar sub-district, toddlers who experience nutritional disorders are 37.5% of the total number of toddlers, namely 24 people. The aim of conducting outreach activities in the form of education is to be a promotive and preventive method in preventing stunting by providing oral motor exercises so that toddlers are stimulated to breastfeed, chew and swallow food. The method used was education in the form of counseling and distribution of leaflets to parents or caregivers of toddlers at the toddler post RW 03 Banyuanyar Community Health Center. The results obtained from measurements were an increase in understanding using pretest and posttest questionnaires, namely there was a significant increase in understanding related to counseling with an average pretest score of 15 and an average posttest score of 90.

The importance of business licensing as a matter of legality is a manifestation of legally valid permits given by the government to business actors to carry out their business officially. The birth of the Job Creation Law gave birth to a business licensing system which previously contained the Online Single Submission system version 1.1 which was later developed into a risk-based approach/RBA or based on the level of risk of the business to be carried out. The aim of this research is to determine the implementation of business licensing for Surakarta City MSMEs through the Online Single Submission Risk Bassed Approach. This research method is empirical juridical legal research and uses a qualitative approach. This research uses primary data and secondary data. The primary data obtained came from interviews conducted at the Surakarta City Investment and One Stop Integrated Services Service. Then supported by secondary data obtained from library materials. Due to the convenience of the OSS-RBA system, system errors often occur or the server goes down, thus hampering the goal of facilitating business licensing, becoming a barrier for business actors to issue their business permits quickly. These obstacles make it difficult for business actors to log in or register on the OSS page, which means that the NIB is not immediately published. And many business people are still confused about the process flow for using OSS-RBA and are still blind to internet technology. However, despite these obstacles, the Surakarta City DPMPTSP has made various efforts to improve the quality of business licensing services in the City of Surakarta.

The making of wall magazines aims to understand how effective wall magazines (wall magazines) are in increasing the literacy of elementary school students. Wall magazine as one of the media raises students' motivation in literacy and creativity. The role of the teacher and students is needed in increasing interest in reading and creativity. Making wall magazines with student creations and displaying them makes students like to read or make a work of poetry or rhymes that are posted on the bulletin. The research results of wall magazines (mading) have a very important role both in the formation of students at SDN Gebang 3 Surakarta. This community service activity aims to develop MSMEs in RW 08 Banjarsari Village. In addition, it is also to increase the understanding of business actors about the importance of product branding as a marketing strategy. In this activity, the FKIP 01 UNS KKN Team collaborated with the UPPKA Sehati group which acts as a forum for MSMEs in RW 08 Banjarsari Village. The methods used in this activity are focus group discussions, surveys, interviews, MSME data collection through forms, and design making. The participation and enthusiasm of business actors in this activity is very good, the partner group actively contributes to the implementation of the activity from beginning to end. The result of this activity is in the form of logo branding by making logos for products from business actors who do not yet have their own logos and product catalogs for the UPPKA Sehati group.

Human rights violations such as domestic violence (DV) remain a major issue in Indonesia. Providing support to DV victims is one way to combat the problem of domestic violence. Solidarity Women for Humanity and Human Rights (SPEK-HAM) is one organization that assists domestic violence victims. The aim of this research is to examine how SPEK-HAM helps domestic violence cases in Surakarta. This study uses a qualitative sociological legal research method. Interviews, observations, and document analysis are the data collection methods used. The findings of this study indicate the importance of SPEK-HAM's role in supporting decisions made in the case of PA Surakarta Number 241/Pdt.G/2023/PA.Ska involving domestic violence. SPEK-HAM's responsibilities include legal assistance, which helps domestic violence victims obtain justice through the legal system; psychological assistance, which involves helping domestic violence victims regain their psychological health; and social assistance, which helps domestic violence victims meet their daily needs..

Hypertension is a disease that always receives attention in the world, because hypertension is one of the biggest causes of morbidity in the world. Based on data from the Health Office, (2018) Central Java is ranked in the top 10 for hypertension, and data on the percentage of hypertension in Surakarta City in 2018 was 67,827 cases. The method used is to provide education on prevention and early detection of hypertension problems in the elderly community in Kauman sub-district, Surakarta. The aim of this program is to increase public knowledge and understanding regarding hypertension. The results of hypertension counseling in the elderly community of Kauman Subdistrict, Surakarta, participants' enthusiasm, motivation and curiosity were very high, and after being given the counseling the participants understood better and felt helped in handling and knowing about hypertension.

Banyuanyar Village is located in Banjarsari District, Surakarta City. Banyuanyar Village is included in the status of urban areas and has a Puskesmas which plays an important role in public health. Patient visits at the Banyuanyar Health Center physiotherapy clinic for shoulder pain cases from 2022 were 25 patients while in 2023 they increased to 50 patients. The most common case is shoulder pain with the third highest case. Characterized by complaints of pain in the shoulder that hinder daily activities. The purpose of this program is to provide education and demonstrate exercises in cases of shoulder pain in order to reduce and prevent complaints. The method used was education in the form of counseling and distributing leaflets to the elderly at the Banyuanyar RW 03 elderly post. The results obtained from measuring the increase in understanding using the pre-test and post-test questionnaires were a significant increase in understanding regarding exercise with a pre-test average value of 10 and a post-test average value of 85.5

Physical activity is body movement produced by skeletal muscles that requires energy expenditure to carry out physical activities. When you are elderly, a degenerative process occurs which can put you at risk of disease and injury resulting in a decline in aspects of your health status. The thing that needs to be considered in this condition is the importance of the quality of life of the elderly in an active and effective manner, one of which is physical activity which is related to physical well-being. Based on the results of a survey in the elderly community, namely Pos Lansia Seruni RW 08, Sumber sub-district, it was found that most of the elderly population has low daily activity. The aim of this community service is to promote physical activity in the elderly so that they can improve their functional abilities independently and efficiently and effectively in everyday life. The method used for counseling is promotional and provides media that can be read and taken home in the form of leaflets containing efforts to promote physical activity in the elderly community in the Banyuanyar community health center area, precisely at the Seruni Elderly Post RW 08, Sumber Village, Surakarta City. The results obtained are that the elderly understand and can apply promotional efforts regarding the importance of physical activity.

This research describes and examines the issues arising from the secondhand clothing bazaar (thrifting) in Surakarta. The prohibition of thrifting in Indonesia is stipulated in Law Number 7 of 2014 concerning Trade in Article 47 paragraph (1). Despite the existing prohibition, the fact remains that thrifting activities are still widespread in Indonesia, attracting the interest of event organizers to host large-scale thrifting-themed events, thus leading to an increase in both traders and event organizers involved in thrifting activities in Indonesia. This study is an empirical legal research of a descriptive nature. The types and sources of research data include primary and secondary data as well as primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials. Data collection techniques employed include interviews, followed by qualitative data analysis methods. The research findings indicate several problems with the secondhand clothing bazaar in Surakarta, including the potential decline in public interest towards local products, with a shift towards purchasing secondhand clothing. Furthermore, secondhand clothing may potentially harbor diseases such as mold, as evidenced by tests conducted by the Ministry of Trade. The influx of imported secondhand clothing also generates textile waste, and the efforts by the Indonesian government to halt the secondhand clothing trade have not been fully effective.

Kegiatan penyuluhan ini dilakukan kepada para pemilik ritel di wilayah Cangakan, Nusukan, Banjarsari, Surakarta. Luaran dari kegiatan ini adalah: 1) Meningkatnya pengetahuan dan wawasan peserta dalam rangka mempertahankan bisnis ritel dalam menghadapi persaingan yang kompetitif, 2) Meningkatnya pengetahuan peserta dalam manjemen pengelolaan usaha, dimana pelaku harus mampu memisahkan dalam peran manajemen keuangan, manajemen operasional, manajemen sumberdaya manusia dan manajemen pemasaran, agar usahanya tetap eksis, 3) Meningkatnya pengetahuan peserta dalam pemasaran online, karena untuk mendapatkan barang langsung dikirim ke toko, 4) Kegiatan ini dapat berlanjut, sehingga ada prinsip kemitraan antara tim pengabdian dan para pemilik ritel. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan tahapan sebagai berikut: 1) Pemilihan peserta pengabdian kepada masyarakat, yaitu pemilik bisnis ritel/kelontong di wilayah Cangakan, Nusukan, Banjarsari, Surakarta, 2) Penyampaian materi penyuluhan tentang bagaimana strategi mempertahnkan bisnis ritel dalam persaingan kompetitif, 3) Pelaksanaan evaluasi. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan cara: sebelum penyuluhan, dilakukan tanya jawab untuk mengetahui pengetahuan awal setiap peserta tentang bisnis ritel/toko kelontong; setelah penyuluhan, dilakukan tanya jawab lagi tentang materi yang sama. Dengan membandingkan hasil jawaban, maka akan diketahui apakah ada peningkatan pengetahuan peserta tentang pengelolaan bisnis ritel dan ruang lingkupnya.Kata kunci: strategi, bisnis ritel, persaingan yang kompetitif

The extension target is the members of youth group in Gebang village Rt.04 / Rw.17 Kadipiro Sub-District, Banjarsari District, Surakarta. The implementation method to overcome the problems of Karang Taruna in Kampung Gebang Rt.04 / Rw.17 Kalurahan Kadipiro, Banjarsari District Surakarta is to provide alternative solutions include: Counseling of small business management management system, extension of marketing and Entrepreneurship system, Counseling of financial management system. The results achieved from this community service program in Gebang Kalurahan Kadipiro are as follows: Increasing the motivation and ability of Karang Taruna in entrepreneurship, Improving the ability of Karang Taruna in managing the business, so it can develop well, Improving the ability of Karang Taruna in business management so that they will Know cash flow and can finally calculate the profit of his business, Improving the ability of Karang Taruna in terms of entrepreneurship, so they will be able to strategize and ultimately can be superior in choosing their business.Keywords: Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Financial management.

Sekip Kadipiro is a developing area with various income structure, especialy ini RT 06/RW 08. The people in this district, Just like the common society nowadays, get used to consume food added by sintetic addition spicies in which not good for the health particularly can damage important internal body organ. Beside that, the habit to consume over amount of nutrition can be trigers to various illness. These things are actually can be prevented by food management with balance nutritions which can be gained from various kind of vegetable. Hence, there is important to held training and workshop about the way to consume vegetable to maintain people health in this area. Training and workshop will give information about the benefits of each kind of vegetables, the way to get extract, and how to consume them properly. The information about 5 elements vegetable extract soup will help the people in this area to maintain their heatlh better. The Title of This Devotion Counseling Guidance for Early Childhood Education. This devotion is done because the teacher education background in kindergarten Lakshmi 7 surakarta only vocational school that has never known what is guidance and counseling and also added with parents of student which relative high school education. So counseling and counselor training is very necessary to be implemented. This is because of the importance of counseling that should be implemented in Early Childhood Education (PAUD). The purpose of the devotion is to increase knowledge about the importance of bUD is the teacher and the parents of the students. Counseling and counselor training was held 6 meetings. Ie from April 15 to May 6, 2017 and held every weekend for 3 hours. For the first day of the counseling about the importance of guidance and counseling in early childhood as well as parents and teachers as PAUD counselors. Then carried out counselor training. Until finally the parents and teachers have the importance of counseling guidance for early childhood and how to become PAUD counselors. As a result parents and teachers can understand about the guidance of early childhood counseling and can become an early childhood counselor. So it can be concluded that this activity is very useful for teachers and parents of kindergarten Lakshmi 7. Given the background of parents' education is relatively low education or only high school graduates and teachers in kindergarten Lakshmi 7 is only the background of SMK as well. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk (1) meningkatkan pemahaman tentang pekarangan, sayuran organik dan teknik budidayanya; serta (2) meningkatkan keterampilan teknik membudidayakan sayuran secara organik. Sedangkan target khusus yang ingin dicapai adalah PKK Rt 05/RW 08 dapat memproduksi sendiri berbagai sayuran organik sehingga mnereka dapat merasakan manfaat dari nutrisi sayur yang belum memudar, rasanya yang masih segar, serta menghemat pengeluaran rumah tangga. Kegiatan ini telah dilaksanakan di kelurahan Banyuanyar kecamatan Banjarsari, Kota Surakarta, Jawa Tengah, yang diikuti 30 orang peserta dari PKK Rt 05/RW 08. Metode kegiatan yang digunakan adalah “pemberian pengetahuan dan pembentukan sikap melalui ceramah, diskusi, dan praktek budidaya sayuran organik. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa Ibu-Ibu PKK Rt 05 RW 08 sudah dapat memahami dan membudidayakan sayuran organik secara benar.Kata Kunci : Pekarangan, sayuran organik, teknik budidaya

The STMIK Amikom Surakarta Assistant Forum is a forum under the UPT STMIK Amikom Surakarta which aims to assist the system of teaching and learning activities in STMIK Amikom Surakarta lectures. In the process of assistance activities taking place, assistants have several problems such as filling out attendance papers that use paper as evidence for attendance that has carried out assistance tasks, then in the process of recapitulating the treasurer's attendance as financial administrators must collect proof papers on each assistant making less effective, and lastly during the scheduling process that uses Excel as a scheduler tool, and will later be shared through groups, this creates a lack of schedule synchronization if at any time there is an updated schedule. Because of this problem the author aims to solve these problems by creating an information system that can perform attendance, recapitulation, and scheduling without using paper and efficiently. The researcher in this research process uses the RAD (Rapid Application Development) method because this method is fast and efficient in the development process. In the manufacturing process, researchers use MERN Stack technology.
