Transportation development is a key foundation for increasing economic growth, regional connectivity, and the quality of public services. In Southeast Sulawesi, Governor Andi Sumangerukka's vision of "Advanced, Safe, Prosperous, and Religious" demands a transportation transformation that focuses not only on physical development but also on governance, technology, sustainability, and the socio-cultural values of the community. This article presents a critical review of this vision and mission by examining the readiness of the transportation sector, the role of the Provincial Transportation Agency, the opportunities and challenges of transformation, and policy recommendations. This study employed a qualitative approach. The research activities were conducted at several transportation infrastructure facilities under the jurisdiction of the Southeast Sulawesi Provincial Transportation Agency for two months, from September to October 2025. The study shows that although the development direction reflects the strategic needs of the archipelago, significant challenges remain, such as inter-island connectivity, gaps in transportation services, data digitization, and a culture of safety. Pentahelix-based, ecological, and technology-based transportation reforms are key to achieving the regional development vision.

This study aims to analyze the integration of maqasid al-shariah within digital financial innovation in Islamic banking and to identify patterns in previous research through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The SLR method was employed to search, select, and synthesize relevant studies published between 2020 and 2025 using predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria, followed by thematic analysis. The findings were organized into five core themes: security and wealth protection, digital literacy, regulatory and shariah compliance, adoption of digital technologies, and the orientation toward justice and social benefit. The results indicate that the integration of maqasid al-shariah in digital innovation remains partial and has not been developed into an operational framework for the design or evaluation of digital banking services. Prior studies emphasize the importance of data security and regulatory readiness but have not formulated measurable maqasid-based indicators. This synthesis highlights the need for a more applicable maqasid-driven digital framework to strengthen governance, risk mitigation, and the strategic direction of digital innovation in Islamic banking.

The Legal Proficiency Practice Program II is an activity designed to connect the academic competence of students with the needs of work in legal institutions, one of which is the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law in Central Kalimantan. The main problem raised in this activity is how the optimization of student work competence can be achieved through direct involvement in the legal bureaucracy environment. The purpose is to provide a real professional experience, strengthen students' understanding of legal and administrative tasks, and form a professional identity as a prospective legal practitioner. The methods used include the placement of students with a rotation system in various work units for 30 days, observation of bureaucratic activities, involvement in substantive and administrative tasks. The implementation results show that the direct involvement of students in various work units can improve technical competencies, such as document management, meeting assistance, and information services, as well as develop non-technical competencies such as work ethics, communication, discipline, and time management. The internalization of PASTI values and the reflection process through the logbook also strengthens the formation of students' professional identity. Overall, the PKH II program is proven to be effective in optimizing the work competence of students and increasing their readiness to enter the world of the legal profession.

This study explores the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) integration and algorithm transparency on organizational efficiency and perceived fairness in Human Resource (HR) decision-making. Using a qualitative literature review approach, the research examines the mediating role of employee trust and the moderating influence of organizational culture. The analysis focuses on peer-reviewed international studies published since 2020, reflecting the latest theoretical and empirical developments in AI and HR management. The findings reveal that a higher level of AI integration improves decision speed, reduces operational costs, and increases the accuracy of talent allocation. However, these efficiency gains are not independent of ethical considerations. Transparent algorithms are shown to significantly enhance employees’ trust and perceptions of fairness, whereas opaque systems tend to generate resistance and distrust. Furthermore, organizational culture plays a crucial moderating role. Companies with innovative and participatory cultures report better outcomes from AI implementation, while hierarchical cultures are associated with lower adoption success and ethical challenges. This research highlights the importance of aligning technical capabilities with social and cultural factors to optimize the use of AI in HR functions. The study contributes to the discourse on socio-technical systems by proposing an integrative framework that links AI integration, transparency, trust, and culture to key organizational outcomes. Practical implications include the need for transparent system design, ethical governance, and cultural readiness to support responsible AI adoption in HR.

This study aims to analyze the concept of modern governance in public service delivery using a descriptive qualitative approach through an extensive literature review. Modern governance is understood as a governance model that emphasizes collaboration, transparency, adaptability, and the involvement of multiple actors within policy networks. The data were collected from books, journal articles, international institutional documents, and previous research relevant to governance and public administration. The findings indicate that modern governance significantly contributes to improving public service effectiveness, particularly through digital innovation, data integration, and collaborative mechanisms between government institutions and citizens. Several case studies—such as public service innovations in Surabaya, Surakarta, and various village administrations—demonstrate that this model can accelerate service processes and enhance public satisfaction. However, the implementation of modern governance still faces challenges, including limited resources, rigid bureaucratic culture, low public participation, and the inconsistent application of good governance principles. This study concludes that modern governance holds substantial potential to strengthen the quality of public services in Indonesia, yet requires strong governmental commitment, technological readiness, and active community involvement to be effectively implemented.

Anesthesiology and emergency care require rapid and accurate clinical decision-making. Artificial intelligence (AI) offers substantial potential to support triage, monitoring, and decision-making in critical and emergency anesthesiology settings. This scoping review maps the use of AI in clinical decision-making and emergency patient management in anesthesiology and identifies existing research gaps. A literature search was conducted in ScienceDirect, PubMed, Cochrane Library, and Google Scholar for articles in Indonesian or English published between 2020 and 2025. Study selection followed Tricco’s scoping review framework, and methodological quality was assessed using Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) tools. Ten articles met the inclusion criteria. AI was shown to improve triage accuracy and efficiency (predictive accuracy up to 99.1% and reductions in waiting time of around 30%). Machine learning models effectively predicted critical care needs and emergency risk, while AI-based clinical decision support systems (CDSS) enhanced the speed and quality of clinical decisions. Key challenges include data bias, ethical and privacy issues, clinician readiness, and integration with hospital information systems. AI and CDSS have strong potential to improve patient safety and clinical decision-making in emergency anesthesiology. Strengthening AI literacy, supportive regulation, and transparent, context-appropriate predictive models are needed for safe and sustainable implementation.

This  study explores the motivational factors that encourage students from Kudus who are studying at UIN Walisongo Semarang to join KMKS (Keluarga Mahasiswa Kudus Semarang), a regional student community that serves as a social and emotional support system for migrant students. Increased mobility in higher education often places migrant students in situations requiring significant academic, social, and cultural adjustment, making social support and a sense of belonging critical. Guided by McClelland’s theory of needs, this research aims to identify how the need for achievement, affiliation, and power is reflected in students’ experiences as members of KMKS. This study employs a qualitative phenomenological approach involving five participants selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings reveal that students primarily join KMKS to fulfill strong affiliative needs, such as seeking social connectedness, emotional comfort, familiarity, and a supportive environment among peers from the same region. Additionally, participation in KMKS contributes to personal development, including increased confidence, improved communication skills, and readiness to take organizational responsibilities. The needs for achievement and power appear indirectly through involvement in committees, leadership roles, and contributions to organizational development. KMKS also functions as a crucial coping resource, helping students reduce stress, loneliness, and adaptation difficulties. The implications of this study highlight the importance of regional student communities as a meaningful support system for migrant students, emphasizing their role in facilitating adaptation, strengthening social identity, and fostering personal growth.
