The main problem in empowering fish farming communities in Dawuhan Village, Poncokusumo District, Malang Regency is how to empower communities through the Peti Koin Bermantra Program in Dawuhan Village, Malang Regency, such as low managerial capacity, weather constraints, high feed prices, and limited market access, which have an impact on the suboptimal economic improvement of the community. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Peti Koin Bermantra Program in empowering fish farming communities to improve their economic welfare. The study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, as well as the community empowerment theory of Hashemi, Schuler, and Riley (1996). The results show that the Peti Koin Bermantra Program contributes positively to improving community welfare through eight empowerment indicators, such as increased mobility, small-scale purchasing power, ability to make larger purchases, involvement in major decisions, freedom, political and legal awareness, participation in public protests and political campaigns, economic security, and contribution to family support. The success of the program was supported by collaboration between facilitators, the East Java Provincial Marine and Fisheries Service, and the Malang Regency Fisheries Service, although there were still obstacles in terms of capital, group management, and product innovation. To support the sustainability of the program,

This study aims to understand the meaning of halal lifestyle for Generation Z Muslim consumers in East Java through a phenomenological approach. In recent years, the concept of halal lifestyle is no longer limited to food and beverage consumption, but has expanded to include fashion, skincare, digital services, and even social media interactions. Generation Z, as digital natives, interprets halal not only as a religious rule, but also as an identity, a social trend, and a form of self-actualization. This study integrates the results of previous empirical studies that show that halal awareness, religious education, marketing strategies, and the influence of public figures play a significant role in shaping halal behavior among the younger generation. The results of the literature review indicate that Generation Z in East Java experiences complex dynamics in adopting a halal lifestyle, ranging from identity dilemmas, ethical challenges, to the influence of local culture. This phenomenological study confirms that halal lifestyle is a multidimensional phenomenon influenced by spiritual values, consumption rationality, and digital interactions. These findings are expected to provide a conceptual contribution to the study of Muslim consumer behavior and form the basis for developing a halal industry that is more adaptive to the characteristics of the younger generation..

This study aims to analyze the use of Instagram as a medium for language development in the correct use of the preposition "di" according to the guidelines of Ejaan yang Disempurnakan (EYD) edition V. Although the Indonesian language has clear writing rules, inaccuracies in the use of the preposition "di" are still frequently found in both print and digital media. One of the contributing factors is the low level of public understanding of these rules. Therefore, language development through Instagram is considered an effective way to raise awareness and improve understanding among the public. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, collecting data through Instagram’s polling feature, which allows the researcher to measure audience understanding of the correct usage of "di". The results show an increase in audience comprehension after receiving explanations regarding the correct usage, although many respondents still showed inaccuracies in the use of "di". Therefore, a broader and more sustained language development effort via social media is needed to enhance public awareness of correct prepositional writing. This research is expected to serve as a foundation for the development of more interactive and practical language development strategies, especially in the context of social media. Keywords:

Handwashing with Soap (CTPS) is the activity of cleaning hands using clean, running water and soap to remove dirt, oil, and various germs such as viruses, bacteria, and parasites that may cling to the skin. As one of the most effective, simplest, and most affordable methods of preventing infectious diseases, CTPS is highly important to practice consistently, especially among students at Public Elementary School 283 located in Waitomu Hamlet, Leihitu District, Central Maluku Regency. However, observations indicate that after school activities or playtime, several students still show reluctance to wash their hands, which may be influenced by low awareness, limited understanding of hygiene, insufficient supervision, or the absence of strong daily habits related to cleanliness. This issue reflects the need for more structured hygiene education, continuous reminders, and interactive learning methods to instill good handwashing habits. In addition, improving supporting facilities—such as accessible handwashing stations, adequate soap supply, and visual posters—can motivate students to practice CTPS more regularly. Strengthening CTPS awareness and habits is expected to reduce the risk of disease transmission, foster a healthier school environment, and encourage students to adopt lifelong hygiene practices that benefit both their personal well-being and the wider community.

The increasing public awareness of global environmental issues has encouraged the emergence of the green consumerism trend, or environmentally friendly consumption behavior, across various segments of society. This shift in consumption patterns occurs in response to growing environmental sustainability challenges and climate change, which demand consumers to be more responsible in selecting, using, and disposing of products. Consumers no longer consider only price and quality, but also the environmental impact of the products they consume. This study aims to analyze the concept of green consumers, identify the factors influencing green consumption behavior, and examine its implications for the modern business environment. The research method employed is a literature study (library research) using a qualitative descriptive approach, reviewing various sources such as scientific journals, books, research reports, and recent publications relevant to the topic of green consumerism. The results indicate that environmental awareness, sustainable lifestyle values, concern for ecological impacts, as well as social influence and digital media, are the main factors shaping green consumer behavior. Furthermore, the study finds that companies capable of adapting to the green consumption trend through eco-friendly product innovation, sustainable business practices, and the implementation of corporate social responsibility will gain a positive corporate image, increase consumer trust, and create competitive advantages in an increasingly environmentally conscious market.

This study examines the implementation of Green Disaster Management (GDM) policies by the Surabaya City Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) as a means to enhance disaster resilience through environmental sustainability. The research analyzes the integration of GDM principles across all phases of the disaster cycle pre-disaster, during response, and post-disaster recovery. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with key informants, participant observation, and document analysis at BPBD and pilot project sites, including mangrove conservation areas, green emergency posts, and eco-friendly reconstruction sites. The findings indicate that Surabaya has demonstrated significant commitment to embedding sustainability into disaster management through community education, environmentally friendly logistics, and eco-based mitigation measures. Nonetheless, challenges persist, such as limited funding, resistance from developers, logistical constraints, and societal perceptions favoring immediate response over environmental considerations. During disaster response, innovations such as solar-powered emergency equipment and waste segregation practices are being adopted, but their widespread application remains hampered by resource limitations. Post-disaster, efforts in eco-friendly reconstruction and reforestation programs have shown promising results but require enhanced public awareness and long-term maintenance. The success of GDM implementation depends on effective inter-agency coordination, political commitment, and community engagement. Despite progress, hurdles related to budget constraints, social resistance, and knowledge gaps fully hinder the adoption of green approaches. This study highlights the importance of strategic collaboration, policy support, and community participation to mainstream sustainability in disaster management continuously. Strengthening these aspects will not only improve Surabaya's disaster resilience but also contribute to sustainable urban development aligned with global frameworks such as the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction.

This study aims to analyze how the government policy of Mojokerto City is implemented to support the empowerment of shoe SMEs and to identify the factors influencing the success or failure of the policy. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation. Data was collected from shoe SMEs, relevant government officials, and supporting institutions. Data analysis was conducted using Edwards III's public policy implementation theory, which includes four indicators: communication, bureaucratic structure, resources, and implementer disposition. The findings of this study show that although the policy for empowering shoe SMEs has had a positive impact in several areas, such as improving product quality and marketing awareness, there are still barriers in terms of inter-institutional coordination, access to funding, and human resource quality. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of the shoe SME empowerment policy in Mojokerto City can succeed with improvements in more effective communication, better coordination between institutions, and strengthening the resources needed by SMEs. Recommendations for the local government include simplifying administrative procedures, increasing access to funding, and enhancing entrepreneurship training relevant to the needs of shoe SMEs. Therefore, this policy is expected to have a greater impact on competitiveness and the local economy.

This training supports the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production). The community service activity follows the UNJ Community Service Strategic Plan (PPM Renstra) 2021–2025, focusing on education and environmental initiatives. A needs analysis conducted at SMAN 1 Muara Gembong, particularly in the school canteen, revealed that many food items sold lacked attention to health and hygiene, and did not optimize local food products. Based on this, training on personal hygiene education for the school community is needed to support school entrepreneurship programs. The training uses a practical approach integrated with digital technology through poster creation. Results showed that participants increased their awareness of health and hygiene, which improved the quality of their entrepreneurial products. The training included material on personal hygiene in entrepreneurship, with educational posters as the output. Evaluation was done using questionnaires, with data analyzed descriptively. Expected outcomes include the publication of an article, mass media exposure, YouTube video, partnership recognition, intellectual property rights registration, educational posters, and a profile of personal hygiene education for the school community in canteen management.

Child exploitation is a serious violation of human rights that involves children as victims. In Indonesia, such cases frequently occur due to severe economic pressure, lack of education, weak social supervision, and inadequate law enforcement. Children are often used as laborers or sources of income, either directly in the informal sector or through digital media. This study aims to examine how the juvenile criminal justice system in Indonesia addresses cases of child exploitation and to evaluate the effectiveness of legal protection for child victims. The research employs a normative juridical approach by referring to statutory regulations and relevant legal concepts. Data were collected from various primary legal sources, including the Child Protection Law and the Juvenile Criminal Justice System Law. The findings indicate that although legal regulations are relatively clear and firm, their implementation in practice remains problematic. Coordination among institutions is not yet effective, social rehabilitation for victims is insufficient, and public awareness regarding children’s rights remains low. Law enforcement also has not fully prioritized the restorative justice approach, which emphasizes victim recovery and active community involvement. Therefore, stronger and more integrated legal policies, improved law enforcement capacity, and the empowerment of families and communities are required to ensure sustainable child protection.

Law enforcement against narcotics crimes in Indonesia faces various complex problems, both from legal aspects, institutional structure, and community legal culture. Even though Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics has been enacted, the circulation and abuse of narcotics is still increasing every year. This study aims to analyze problems in law enforcement against perpetrators of narcotics crimes and identify the factors that affect them. The research method used is normative juridical with a legislative approach and a case approach. The results of the study show that the main obstacles lie in the lack of coordination between law enforcement agencies, weak integrity of the apparatus, overlapping regulations, and low public legal awareness. In addition, the limitation of supporting facilities and infrastructure such as rehabilitation facilities, forensic laboratories, and early detection technology also hinders the effectiveness of case handling. The high modus operandi of increasingly sophisticated narcotics networks is also a challenge for the authorities. Therefore, strengthening regulations, increasing the capacity of human resources, utilizing modern technology, and more intensive collaboration between agencies need to be optimized as a comprehensive effort to strengthen the effectiveness of law enforcement in the narcotics sector.

Indonesia’s diversity in ethnicity, culture, religion, and language demands an approach that can simultaneously address intellectual, spiritual, and national dimensions. The integration of philosophy, Pancasila, and theology becomes essential in responding to this complex reality. Philosophy strengthens critical and reflective thinking, helping individuals interpret differences with awareness and avoid hasty judgments, which is crucial in reducing social tension and fostering dialogue. Pancasila, as the nation’s ideological foundation, provides an ethical-political framework that guarantees unity, freedom, and justice for all citizens regardless of background. Theology complements these foundations by offering transcendental ethics and spiritual guidance that shape compassionate attitudes toward others and the environment. A contextual and inclusive theological perspective supports religion’s role as a source of enlightenment and encourages interfaith solidarity in a pluralistic society. When these three elements are integrated into education, public policy, and social culture, they help form a society that is intellectually critical, socially inclusive, and spiritually resilient. Core values such as empathy, justice, equality, and shared responsibility can develop more strongly in daily interactions. Although challenges such as identity crises, misinformation, and online intolerance remain, collaboration between the state and civil society is needed to maintain an inclusive public sphere. Through strengthening philosophical education, deepening appreciation of Pancasila, and advancing contextual theology, Indonesia can build a just and harmonious society.

This study aims to analyze students' perceptions of the concept of meritocracy in education management as an effort to prevent nepotism in the recruitment process for elementary school teachers. Meritocracy is seen as an approach that emphasizes individual competence, qualifications, and achievements in the selection process for educators, while nepotism is often an obstacle in creating a professional and ethical educational environment. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method with data collection through questionnaires distributed to students in education study programs who have acquired a basic understanding of educational management and teacher recruitment systems. The data were analyzed to describe the students' level of understanding, attitudes, and views on the application of meritocracy principles and their awareness of the negative impacts of nepotism in the world of education. The results show that the majority of students have a positive perception of meritocracy as a fair and effective system for improving the quality of educators. However, some students acknowledge that nepotism is still common in the education sector and is considered to undermine professionalism and public trust. These findings emphasize the importance of instilling meritocratic values from the university level and strengthening competency-based recruitment policies to support the creation of a transparent and high-quality education system.

A will is a legal instrument that enables an individual to determine the distribution of their assets after death. One type recognized in the Indonesian Civil Code (KUHPerdata) is the closed will (testament olograph), written or signed confidentially by the testator and submitted to a notary before four witnesses. This form of will emphasizes secrecy and the protection of the testator’s final intentions, requiring a clear legal framework to ensure its validity and lawful execution. Within this framework, the Balai Harta Peninggalan, or Heritage Hall, functions as a state institution responsible for receiving, safeguarding, unsealing, and executing closed wills after the testator’s death. The institution’s role ensures that the process is orderly, transparent, and legally compliant. This study examines the procedural mechanism for administering closed wills by the Balai Harta Peninggalan, covering the stages from unsealing to execution in accordance with statutory provisions. Using a normative juridical method with statutory and conceptual approaches, the research analyzes the Civil Code, implementing regulations, and legal literature. The findings show that the execution of closed wills under Balai Harta Peeninggalan’s authority is well regulated under Indonesian law and plays a key role in ensuring legal certainty and protecting heirs’ rights. However, administrative obstacles and low public awareness remain significant challenges.

This study aims to analyze the marketing strategy of the Wadiah Savings Product (Hanabung) at KSPPS Hanada Quwais Sembada using a SWOT approach to identify internal strengths, weaknesses, external opportunities, and threats influencing the institution’s marketing performance. The research employs a descriptive quantitative method supported by qualitative data obtained from interviews with five key informants. Data analysis was conducted using the IFE and EFE matrices to evaluate the weight, rating, and score of each strategic factor. The findings indicate that KSPPS Hanada’s major strengths include strong member loyalty, personalized services, and compliance with sharia principles. The main weaknesses are conventional promotional activities, limited marketing human resources, and insufficient digital innovation. Opportunities arise from increasing public awareness of Islamic finance, while threats come from digital financial service competition and low financial literacy levels. With an IFE score of 3.10 and an EFE score of 2.75, the institution is positioned within a growth strategy. The study highlights the need for more innovative and adaptive marketing strategies through digitalization, human resource development, and continuous financial literacy initiatives.

This study aims to analyze the role of mass media in influencing the escalation of social conflict in society. Mass media, both conventional and digital, have significant power in shaping public opinion and influencing public perceptions of sensitive social issues. In the context of Indonesia's pluralistic society, non-objective and provocative reporting can accelerate the rise of social tensions and exacerbate intergroup conflict. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a literature review method, drawing on sources from various scientific journals, books, and previous research reports. The results indicate that media can act as both a trigger and a mitigator of conflict, depending on how information is presented to the public. Media that prioritizes the principles of peace journalism can help create cross-group communication, foster empathy, and strengthen social solidarity. Conversely, biased and sensational media can exacerbate differences and lead to social disintegration. Therefore, media practitioners require moral responsibility, professional ethics, and social awareness to ensure their function remains oriented toward truth, justice, and peace. Thus, mass media holds a strategic position in building social harmony amidst the diversity of Indonesian society.

Ecofeminism encompasses a broader perspective, linking environmental issues with social issues. Previous research has shown that environmental discourse generated by various actors, including the government, NGOs, and the media, plays a significant role in shaping public awareness and behavior. However, the phenomenon of women often being excluded from decision-making regarding environmental policies requires special attention. In this digital era, women can share stories, adaptation strategies, and sustainable practices in addressing environmental issues through various platforms. This study aims to analyze the ideology of the women's community embodied in eco-discourse on the Modern Women Bali magazine. The research method applied is a qualitative method with data in the form of eco-discourse on the Modern Women Bali magazine. Results show that the ideologies of ecofeminism found in the media include women’s environmental care, women’s support for local sustainability, women’s role as guardian of nature, and women’s growth through nature.

This research aims to understand how public perceptions and responses to social conflict are shaped in the digital era, marked by advances in information and communication technology. Using a descriptive qualitative approach and library research methods, this study analyzes various literature, journals, and previous research findings that address the relationship between digital media, social perceptions, and conflict dynamics. The results indicate that digital media plays a central role in shaping public perspectives on social conflict. Rapid, widespread, and interactive access to information makes it easier for people to engage in social issues, both actively through online campaigns and passively as observers. However, this phenomenon also poses challenges in the form of perceptual bias, the spread of hoaxes, and increased social polarization due to the dominance of certain narratives in the digital space. On the other hand, digital media also opens up opportunities for collective awareness, social empathy, and public participation in conflict resolution efforts. Therefore, improving digital literacy and media ethics are crucial factors in building a critical, rational, and peaceful society amidst the complexity of social interactions in cyberspace.
