The low interest in reading among children in Indonesia is a serious challenge in developing quality human resources in the future. A culture of literacy that has not been formed since early childhood has an impact on the weakness of children's critical thinking, analytical skills, and imagination. This article aims to examine various approaches to child empowerment in increasing interest in reading and literacy through literature studies. Several strategies analyzed include reading corners, school literacy movements, family-based reading programs, and creative approaches such as storytelling methods and the use of digital media. The results of the review show that a participatory approach that actively involves families, schools, and communities has proven to be more effective in increasing children's interest in reading and fostering sustainable literacy habits. In addition, the provision of relevant, varied, and enjoyable reading media for children is an important factor in strengthening a reading culture. Cross-sector synergy is needed to create a conducive literacy ecosystem from an early age.

This study seeks to understand how students in Lampung Province are influenced by social media influencers, their level of investment knowledge, their capital, and their risk tolerance when it comes to investing. The research highlights the significant role of investment in the economic system, emphasizing its dual function as a funding source for companies and an opportunity for investors to gain returns. The increasing trend of investment in Indonesia, particularly among the youth, indicates a growing interest in capital markets. Utilizing a quantitative approach, data was collected from 136 active students through online questionnaires. The study used multiple regression methods to look at how investment interest was correlated with the independent variables (knowledge of investing, capital, risk tolerance, and social media influencers). The findings reveal that investment knowledge and the percentage of income allocated for investment positively and significantly affect students' investment interest. Conversely, the influence of social media and risk tolerance did not show a direct impact. Notably, income as a moderating variable demonstrated a complex role, weakening the direct effects of knowledge and investment percentage while strengthening the influence of risk tolerance. The study suggests enhancing financial literacy programs and encouraging early financial management education to foster investment interest among students.

One alternative learning that can be done to overcome these problems is to apply the Problem Based Learning learning model. This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning learning model on the interest in learning mathematics of class VIII students of Al Irsyad TI Bulaan Kamba Islamic Boarding School. The hypothesis in this study is "there is a significant effect of the Problem Based Learning learning model on the interest in learning mathematics of class VIII students of Al Irsyad TI Bulaan Kamba Islamic Boarding School". This type of research is a pre-experiment with a one group pretest-posttest research design, the population in this study were all students of class VIII of Al Irsyad TI Bulaan Kamba Islamic Boarding School, the sampling used was Random Sampling, first a normality test, homogeneity test, and average similarity test were carried out on the population data. The sample in this study was class VIII A as the sample class. The instrument in this study was a questionnaire on students' interest in learning mathematics. The data analysis technique used in this study was the paired sample t test. The results obtained from the paired sample t test were t count = 2.81 and t table = 2.05 and sig = 0.0045 at a real level of α = 0.05. From these results it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the Problem Based Learning learning model on the interest in learning mathematics of class VIII students of Al Irsyad TI Bulaan Kamba Islamic Boarding School.

Effective church service is rooted in spiritual education from an early age, especially through Sunday School. II Timothy 3:15–17 emphasises the role of Scripture in shaping character and readiness for every good deed. This study aims to examine the effect of the Sunday School curriculum based on this verse on the interest of the congregation in serving the Jakarta Baptist Citra Indah City Jonggol Church. A theologically strong and pedagogically planned curriculum is believed to be able to transform the faith of children and teenagers into concrete actions in ministry. In Christian education, teaching is not only informative but also transformative, integrating faith and action. A Bible-based Sunday school curriculum can serve as a means of shaping character, faith, and awareness of a call to ministry from an early age. The interest in service itself is an internal drive that encourages a person's active involvement in service activities in response to God's calling. This study is expected to provide practical contributions to local churches in designing relevant and applicable spiritual curricula, as well as being able to foster a generation of ministers who are militant, loving, and ready to carry out their roles in the church and society.

This community service activity aims to increase the motivation, confidence, and love of male students for traditional Acehnese art, particularly the Likok Pulo dance. This dance is characterized by its energetic and rhythmic nature, making it suitable as a dance teaching material for male students who have previously shown little interest in participating in dance activities. The methods used include demonstrations and peer tutoring, covering training in various dance movements, mastering the lyrics, and accompanying music with the rapa’i instrument. The training was conducted over three days from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The dancers involved were specifically male students who had previously shown little interest in dance practice. The results of the activity showed that male students were highly enthusiastic, as evidenced by their ability to master movement variations, sing lyrics, and play musical accompaniment in a short period of time, despite having never participated in dance extracurricular activities before. This activity demonstrated that selecting appropriate dance material can change students' negative perceptions of dance and serve as a medium for preserving local culture through formal education.

The development of vocational education requires Vocational High Schools (SMK) to align their competencies with student interests and industry needs. However, a mismatch between student interests and the competencies offered can result in low enrollment, requiring schools to consider closing certain programs. This study proposes the application of Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) as a predictive method to determine the potential closure of vocational competencies based on an analysis of student interest patterns. The data used includes interest history, academic grades, and other preference indicators, which are then subjected to a preprocessing stage to ensure the quality of the model’s input. The ANN is trained to accurately recognize interest patterns, thus generating objective and adaptive decision-making recommendations. A mismatch between students' interests and the competencies offered can lead to low interest in certain programs, which in turn may result in the decision to close those programs. This study proposes the application of Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) as a predictive method to determine the potential closure of skill competencies based on the analysis of students' interest patterns. The data used includes interest history, academic grades, and other preference indicators. This data is processed through a preprocessing stage to ensure the quality of input for the model. The ANN is trained to accurately recognize students' interest patterns, allowing it to generate more objective and adaptive decision recommendations. The results of the study show that the application of ANN has high accuracy in predicting students' interest trends and provides more precise recommendations compared to traditional methods. Therefore, this system can be an effective tool for schools to plan curriculum policies more strategically and sustainably, as well as support decisions regarding skill programs that align with students' interests and industry needs.
