As a person ages, various changes often arise due to a decrease in biological function caused by the aging process. Hypertension is one of the NCDs that is a threat, especially to the elderly. Based on data from the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2019, it shows that around 1.13 million people in the world experience hypertension. Nguri Village is one of the villages in Lembeyan District, Magetan Regency, East Java Province. The problem from the results of the study in Nguri Village is that there are still many people, especially the elderly, who suffer from hypertension and a lack of understanding in preventing hypertension, namely 75% or 45 out of 60 elderly people. The aim of community service is to increase knowledge regarding efforts to prevent hypertension. The implementation method uses health education in the form of doing tera exercises to prevent hypertension in the elderly. Previously, blood pressure was measured. Activities were carried out on 30 hypertensive elderly aged >40 years. The results of the activity were that the elderly knew about preventing hypertension, namely 95% of the 30 elderly were able to understand and the elderly were able to carry out tera and exercise activities. The elderly play a very active role in this activity.

Surabaya as the second-largest city in Indonesia, faces serious challenges in waste management with daily waste generation reaching 1,800.05 tons in 2023, exceeding the capacity of Benowo landfill of 1,400 tons per day. Responding to this excess of 300 tons of daily waste, the Environmental Agency (DLH) of Surabaya City initiated the Zero Waste Village program. This program aims to increase public awareness about environmental cleanliness and waste management, implemented through collaboration between DLH and students from UPN Veteran East Java. The methods used include waste banks, composters, takakura, and processing into ecoenzymes. The program stages include sampling determination, initial waste weighing, intensive socialization, and final weighing. The results are encouraging, with a significant reduction in waste generation to an average of 0.19 kg per day per person after socialization. This success demonstrates the program's effectiveness in changing community behavior and reducing waste volume, providing hope for more sustainable waste management in Surabaya and reducing the excessive burden on the Benowo landfill.

Mood or mood is an important part of a person's psychological well-being. Several studies show that physical exercise can positively influence mood. One of the factors that influences an athlete's mental and emotional readiness is mood. Mood Profile for Weightlifting athletes is an important factor that needs to be analyzed. This research aimed to determine the relationship between athletes' moods and the success rate of snatches in weightlifting athletes at PABSI Jatim Surabaya before PORPROV 2025. This qualitative research used mixed methods. Mixed methods is a research approach that combines or associates qualitative and quantitative forms. A research method that uses qualitative data and is described descriptively. The Total Sample Method is a sampling method with the number of samples equal to the population. The sample was taken using total sampling because the population was less than 100 and the entire population was used as the research sample (Masturoh & Anggita, 2018). The sample that can be used is the population sample taken from Provincial Weightlifting athletes (aged 13 - 23 years) totaling 8 people and is only limited so that they can be used as one training group by filling in a mood profile questionnaire and recording the snatch technique. Of the 8 respondents who took the snatch test, all appeared confident. However, when holding and doing the snatch, there is a feeling of doubt and anxiety about whether or not you can accept the weight of the snatch if it is already above. However, after doing the snatch test, he also felt happy by releasing endorphins in his body. The results of the before and after research show that the "Medium" category with the highest percentage is the anger indicator (AMR) of 71.43% and 42.86%, and the confused mood indicator (SSB) of 53.57% and 71%. Indicators with moderate percentages include full energy indicators (PNT) of 85.71% and 75%, self-assessment (PDR) of 80.36% and 80%, and depression (DPS) of 44.64% and 63%. The percentage of fatigue indicators (KLH) was 53.57% and 42.85% and tension indicators (KTG) were 57.14% and 50%. The conclusion of the research on the analysis of the relationship between athlete's mood and the success rate of snatches in weightlifting athletes at PABSI East Java, Surabaya is in the "Medium" condition. Negative mood conditions in the "Medium" category such as fatigue, anger, tension, confusion, and depression indicate that athletes are not feeling stressed mentally and physically. Meanwhile, positive mood conditions in the "Medium" category make athletes have a good mood, such as being full of energy and self-confidence. This is possible because the training portion is good and the conditions leading to PORPROV 2025 are still quite long. So there are still many athletes who experience good mood conditions so the presence of this athlete's mood also supports the athlete's successful performance both during training and during competitions.

Can Macanan Kaddhuk is a traditional art typical of the Jember region, East Java. The creation of this art has become the sole meaning of Jember culture, which has its own story and has gained public legitimacy for this local culture. Events exist from the founder's subjective composition which continues to be passed down to legitimize society. This art also characterizes itself as an acculturation of several cultures around its region. So, it is very interesting that the presence of its founder at the beginning of the emergence of social culture made the beliefs dominant among each group. Moreover, the development of this culture has a very unique style, representing every art activist's interpretation. The expression of symbolic meaning and aesthetic value in the art of Can Macanan Kaddhuk requires encouragement in the post-modern world in terms of art, so the research uses a qualitative approach with appropriate methods. Indonesia's rapid population growth requires the economy to grow at least 2.2% every year to keep per capita output stable. This results in high labor force growth that is difficult to overcome. Labor absorption must be in line with economic growth to prevent disparities. The processing industry sector plays a major role in the strategy for employment absorption and economic growth. This industry is also considered a leading sector in the economy, with a favorable exchange rate and creating higher added value. In Surabaya, economic growth and per capita income are higher than other areas in East Java. This city has great potential to develop promising sectors and encourage economic growth. Regional economic conditions, including GRDP, taxes, inflation, investment and other economic services, can reflect the success of a region.

This study discusses the impact of coffee culture modernity on local economic development in Jember district, East Java. Coffee culture has become an important part of the lives of the people of Jember, but modernity has changed the way people enjoy coffee and has had a significant impact on the local economy. The existence of modernity has made a shift in people in Jember who initially drank coffee at coffee shops, now they prefer to drink coffee in modern cafes that are more prestigious. This can of course threaten the existence of simple coffee shops, because the capital they have is not large, making it difficult for them to keep up with the development of modern society that continues to develop all the time. In this study, we use the concept of the juggernaut modernity theory by Anthony Giddens, where in his theory it is explained that modern life is an uncontrollable world, where there is always a process of change that occurs on a large scale and with a deeper scope. This study uses a qualitative research method with an ethnographic approach. The results of the study show that modernity has quite an impact on the economy of the local community, such as the increase in employment due to the number of modern cafes to the emergence of the threat of alienation received by simple coffee shops.

Land cover is defined as the physical and biological cover of the earth's surface, both those formed naturally such as swamps, hills and rivers and those formed by man-made means such as rice fields, gardens, forests and buildings. As technology develops, conventional methods of satellite image processing are starting to be abandoned. This is because conventional methods require quite a long time to process satellite image data. The presence of Google Earth Engine (GEE), which is a cloud computing-based platform, makes it easier for users to process satellite image data boldly and for free. This research aims to classify satellite image land cover in the Trenggalek Regency area, East Java. The level of accuracy in this study uses a confusion matrix. The accuracy test results show a value of 90.23%.

Poverty is a complex and multifaceted issue faced by various countries, including Indonesia. East Java, as one of the provinces with the largest population in Indonesia, still has a relatively high poverty rate. Minimum wage, open unemployment rate, and education are three important factors believed to influence the poverty rate. Minimum wage is expected to increase the purchasing power of poor people, while high open unemployment rate and low education levels can exacerbate poverty. This study aims to analyze the influence of Minimum Wage, Open Unemployment Rate, and Education on the Number of Poor People in East Java Province. The independent variables are Minimum Wage, Open Unemployment Rate, and Education, and the dependent variable is the Number of Poor People. This research uses secondary data in the form of time series for 10 years, from 2014 to 2023. The data was obtained from Statistics Indonesia (BPS). The research method is quantitative with data analysis using classical assumption tests (Normality Test, Multicollinearity Test, Heteroscedasticity Test, Autocorrelation Test), multiple linear regression, and statistical tests (Coefficient of Determination Test (R2), T-Test, and F-Test) using Eviews - 10. The partial regression coefficient results show that minimum wage and education do not have a significant effect on the number of poor people in East Java, while the open unemployment rate has a significant effect on the number of poor people in East Java.

This research aims to determine the community's response to the implementation of controlling illegal traders in the parking area of Pasar Larangan Sidoarjo. The research results show that the public has various views on controlling illegal traders. Most people disagree because it is not effective in overcoming parking problems in market areas, because not only illegal traders but also illegal parking disturbs the surrounding community. Based on 2020 Kompas data, illegal parking violations involved 56,902 vehicles and were dominated by motorbikes. From data from the East Java Province Central Statistics Agency, the number of motorized vehicles from 2018 - 2020 continues to increase. There were around 1,636,032 in 2018, then 1,750,445 in 2019, and increased to 1,808,754 in 2020. The number of vehicles is certainly not comparable to the parking space provided by the Sidoarjo Prohibition market. Apart from that, a small portion of the community still supports enforcement to reduce chaos, increase comfort and order in the market area. It is hoped that this research can contribute to the development of a more effective strategy in overcoming the problem of illegal traders in the Sidoarjo prohibited market parking area.
