As a developing country with one of the highest populations in the world, Indonesia possesses an abundant workforce in terms of its working-age population. Among the 38 provinces, Bali has consistently shown the highest labor force participation rate. However, a more detailed view from 2010 to 2024 reveals that the proportion of the working-age population classified as part of the labor force has experienced fluctuations. This study aims to analyze both the simultaneous and partial effects of the unemployment rate, education, and regional minimum wage on the labor force participation rate (LFPR) in Bali Province from 2010 to 2024. The study was conducted in Bali Province, using secondary data published by Statistics Indonesia (BPS). The analysis technique employed in this study is panel data regression. The results of the panel regression test indicate that the most appropriate model is the Fixed Effects Model. The findings show that the variables of unemployment rate, education, and regional minimum wage simultaneously have a significant effect on the labor force participation rate in Bali Province. Partially, the unemployment rate has a negative but insignificant effect, education has a positive and significant effect, and the regional minimum wage has a negative and significant effect on the labor force participation rate in Bali Province. It is recommended that the government and private sector collaborate in formulating appropriate policies to increase labor force participation by improving the quality of education and designing minimum wage policies that align with both labor needs and market capacity to pay wages.

Woodball was first introduced in 2006 and has since grown rapidly across the country. In addition, many woodball clubs and communities have emerged, and woodball has become an officially recognized competitive sport since 2016. In 2016, woodball even became part of the national sports week (PON) in West Java. Woodball is a sport that combines elements of golf and croquet, emphasizing the accuracy of shots to pass through the goal with a wooden ball. Hand-eye coordination is one of the key factors that can influence the quality of an athlete's shots. Objective: To determine the relationship between hand-eye coordination and shot quality in woodball athletes in Bali Province. An observational analytical study with a cross-sectional approach involving 42 woodball athletes in Bali Province. Hand-eye coordination was measured using a 30-second ball catch-and-throw test, while shot quality was assessed using a skill test based on the number of balls successfully passing through the gate. Analysis was performed using Spearman's rho correlation test. The analysis revealed a significant relationship between eye-hand coordination and swing quality in woodball athletes (P < 0.05). The positive correlation coefficient indicates that better eye-hand coordination leads to higher swing quality. There is a significant relationship between eye-hand coordination and shot quality. Improving visual-motor coordination skills can contribute to the performance of woodball athletes.

The plastic waste emergency in Denpasar reflects an ecological and social crisis due to the accumulation of single-use plastics. In response, the Bali Provincial Government issued Governor Regulation No. 97/2018, though its implementation remains limited. This study analyzes forms of community resistance to the policy and identifies structural causes and implications. Using a qualitative approach grounded in Cultural Studies, the research reveals resistance in passive, symbolic, and active forms, driven by information asymmetry, economic burdens, and lack of participatory policy-making. Findings show resistance as an articulation of agency within power/knowledge relations. The study concludes that environmental policy success depends on authentic public engagement as subjects of change.

Indonesia's biodiversity holds great potential for drug development, including through the use of traditional medicinal plants such as tapak liman (Elephantopus scaber L.), suruhan (Peperomia pellucida L. Kunth), and temu ireng (Curcuma aeruginosa Roxb.). These plants have been used in traditional medicine and are known to contain bioactive compounds with potential anticancer properties. Tapak liman contains compounds capable of inducing apoptosis in cancer cells. Suruhan is known to have cytotoxic and immunomodulatory effects, while temu ireng contains compounds with antioxidant and anticancer activity. This study aims to identify and quantify the bioactive compounds in these three plants using Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) and to explore their therapeutic potential in cancer treatment. The results of GC-MS analysis successfully identified six main compounds that have potential as anticancer agents, namely Phytol, Caryophyllene, Apiol, Germacrone, Germacrene B, and one additional compound. Temu ireng contains Germacrone, Germacrene B, and Caryophyllene, while suruhan contains Caryophyllene, Apiol, and Phytol. Meanwhile, tapak liman shows the presence of bioactive compounds that support cytotoxic activity. The focus of this study is on the interaction of bioactive compounds with the Bcl-2 protein, which plays a role in inhibiting apoptosis in cancer cells. Additionally, molecular analysis revealed that Germacrone, Germacrene B, Caryophyllene, and Apiol can also bind to the p53 protein, known as a guardian of the genome and a trigger for apoptosis. These findings suggest that the three plants have high potential as natural sources of anticancer agents. Further in vitro and in vivo studies are recommended to test the biological efficacy of these compounds in the context of cancer therapy, thereby bridging traditional knowledge with modern scientific approaches in the development of natural-based medications.

This study aims to analyze hazard identification in order to improve operational safety aspects in the service road area of I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali. This area is a vital part of the airside that has a high level of activity and complex safety risks, thus requiring special attention to potential hazards that may arise. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection techniques through direct observation in the field, in-depth interviews with related personnel, and documentation studies relevant to the airport's safety system and operational procedures. The results of the study indicate that there are still significant potential safety risks in the service road area. Some key findings include haphazard parking practices by Ground Support Equipment (GSE), undisciplined behavior of ground handling personnel, and passenger movement in the operational area without adequate officer supervision. These problems are largely caused by weak supervision from the Apron Movement Control (AMC) unit, as well as the low level of understanding and implementation of safety culture among field workers. Through the process of identifying and assessing risks using the Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) approach, researchers succeeded in mapping the severity of risks and developing appropriate mitigation measures, such as regulating GSE parking procedures, improving safety training, and adding supervisory personnel at vulnerable points. It is hoped that the findings of this study can be a basis for consideration for the management of I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali, in formulating policies and strategies for improving operational safety as a whole, especially in implementing a more effective and sustainable Safety Management Sistem (SMS).

As a multicultural country, Indonesia grows and develops with various cultural structures, ethnicities, religions and races. The diversity that occurs for a long time makes it possible for marriages with different religions to occur. Interfaith marriage in the Catholic Church is not allowed, but there is a dispensation so there are people who do it. As happened at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Simo Church, Boyolali, from the data for 2018-2023, there were 41 marriages and 9 of them were married to different religions (Cult Disparity). This phenomenon occurs due to several things including a lack of appreciation of faith, not enough socializing in the Church, pregnancy outside of marriage, a high sense of tolerance, many public schools in the village, places of worship that are close enough to allow the existence of many followers of other religions. The purpose of this research is to find out the nature of marriage of interfaith marriage couples, the application of children's faith education and the development of parents' faith from interfaith marriages. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with interviews with informants. The results showed that the impact of interfaith marriage on the faith education of children under five is positive because since infancy they have been baptized in accordance with the nature of Catholic marriage. Based on the results of the study, each partner respects and supports the other's beliefs in the midst of differences. In educating children's faith in the golden age period, they can be baptized.

This community service activity aims to improve basic accounting literacy for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through financial recording training and simple financial report making. Many MSME actors do not have a neat bookkeeping system, making it difficult to find out net income and access financing from financial institutions. Therefore, the introduction of simple accounting is a strategic step to encourage more professional and sustainable business management. This activity was carried out by a team of lecturers accompanied by students, with a participatory approach and based on direct practice. The training material includes basic understanding of accounting, recording daily transactions, preparing income statements, and simulating the use of financial statements for working capital submissions. Through this method, it is hoped that there will be an effective and applicable transfer of knowledge from academics to the public. The results of the activity showed that participants were able to understand the importance of financial recording and began to implement a simple bookkeeping system in their business operations. In addition, participants also showed increased confidence in compiling financial statements that can be used as supporting documents in applying for financing to cooperatives, banks, or other financial institutions. This activity not only provides practical benefits for MSME actors, but also strengthens the role of universities in community economic empowerment. In the future, similar activities can be developed with the integration of digital technology to support more efficient and accurate financial recording.
