This service aims to implement the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) teaching method on PAI material at the high school level. This service uses a qualitative descriptive method which is carried out in class XI, totaling 35 students which is carried out through the preparation, implementation and evaluation stages. The problems faced by students when learning tend to use the lecture method, especially in PAI lessons, students are only listeners without having to express students' opinions, this results in a decrease in student interest and activity when receiving lessons. The results of this service prove that students have empathy during the learning process and can express creativity in explaining material, hone students' confidence in expressing opinions and train students' cohesiveness with other students which makes the method effective. This model can be a stimulus for educators who want to apply the PAI learning method in the classroom.

The Sultanate of Langkat is one of the richest kingdoms in East Sumatra, besides the Sultanate of Deli and the Sultanate of Serdang which have several roles. This article aims to find out the initial process of the spread of Islam in Langkat through the Langkat Sultanate, historical heritage evidence, and who are the figures who played a role in spreading Islam in Langkat. The method used is the historical research method, namely the method by reviewing the themes surrounding historical research methods in detail which is strengthened by presenting the views of historians. The findings show that in the development of Islam, the role of the Langkat sultanate included, namely, in the aspect of Education, the Langkat sultanate built several madrasas as places to study religion and figures who played a major role including Sultan Musa, Sultan Abdul Aziz, Dewa Sahdan, and others .

The purpose of this research is to: 1) is to find out the structure of the novel (characters, plot, and setting) that builds the storytelling in the novel Bukan Pasarmalam by Pramoedya Ananta Toer. 2) Is to know the social values contained in the novel Bukan Pasarmalam by Pramoedya Ananta Toer. 3) is to know the moral values in the novel Bukan Pasarmalam by Pramoedya Ananta Toer. 4) is to find out the relevance between the novel Bukan Pasarmalam and learning Indonesian language and literature in high school. This research method uses content analysis method, using a qualitative approach. With the method used, this study found the results that: 1) The structure of the novel Bukan Pasarmalam describes people's lives in Indonesia before and after independence. In this novel, Pramoedya describes the sadness, suffering and difficulties of the post-independence Indonesian people. 2) the findings and results of the analysis of this novel, it is known that the novel Bukan Pasarmalam contains social values through social interactions within the family and society. These values include: the value of affection, the value of compassion, the value of protection, the value of religiosity, the value of caring, the value of equality, the value of togetherness, the value of sincerity. 3) The moral values contained in the character I are in the form of behavior that most are worthy of being an example for everyone such as being responsible, patient, guarding one's tongue, and being religious. 4) The social values and moral values in the novel Bukan Pasarmalam can be relevant to the 2013 curriculum for Indonesian language and literature subjects in class XI high schools, there is material about analyzing the intrinsic and extrinsic elements of literary works, one of which is Indonesian novels which contain values cultural, social, moral, historical, and religious with basic competencies: identifying life values contained in a collection of short stories and analyzing messages from two fiction books (novels and poetry), while the learning materials: short stories, short story contents, values life, short story intrinsic elements, novel elements and reviews of novels.  

This study aims to examine how strategies strengthen student morale through school programs. In analyzing the problem, this research uses descriptive method with observation, interview and documentation techniques. Some of the findings obtained from research that the strategy of strengthening students' morale is implemented in several aspects; firstly on the school's vision and mission where the school compiles the school's vision-mission and goals which imply faith, piety and religious values ​​to strengthen student morale, second on activities both habituation activities within the school environment or activities outside the school environment related to religious activities to increase religious values, third on school facilities and infrastructure, fourth on school rules which are arranged based on the school's vision-mission and goals. The research results show that the strategy is quite successful in strengthening student morale. There are several findings that can hinder the success of applying student moral values, such as: the number of students that is not balanced with the number of classes, the lack of optimal use of facilities, the lack of commitment from school members, especially the lack of parental cooperation in efforts to strengthen student morale.

This journal writing was conducted to discuss the topic of Islamic Inheritance Law, especially in terms of transferring assets through a mandatory will. This study uses normative juridical and empirical juridical methods with data in the form of secondary data. This research has the result that KHI (Compilation of Islamic Law), as a rational formulation of Islamic Inheritance Law, has practically explained the rules of Obligatory wills. Obligatory wills in KHI are an alternative in giving inheritance to adopted children. Then in the development of inheritance law in court institutions, in this case the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia, actually made the Obligatory will as a way to provide inheritance shares for heirs of different religions. The obligatory testament rules as an alternative to the transfer of rights to the wealth of non-Muslim heirs must still pay attention to the principles. The Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia has expanded Article 209 KHI by adding parties that can receive a mandatory will, including heirs who are prevented from inheriting because they are non-Muslims.

Penelitian ini berjudul “Kajian Nilai dalam Tradisi sunatan Masyarakat Suku Sakai kelurahan Pematang Pudu Kecamatan Mandau Kabupaten Bengkalis”. Bagi masyarakat suku Sakai, sunatan merupakan kewajiban bagi setiap muslim baik laki-laki maupun perempuan, tanpa disunat masyarakat Sakai menganggap keislaman seseorang tidak sempurna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pelaksanaan tradisi khitan pada masyarakat Sakai dan nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam tradisi sunatan bagi kehidupan sosial masyarakat Sakai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode etnografi. Dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan, ditemukan beberapa hal di bawah ini: Pertama, proses pelaksanaan tradisi sunatan pada masyarakat suku Sakai dilakukan dalam tiga prosesi yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan dan pasca pelaksanaan. Kedua, nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam tradisi sunat suku Sakai meliputi aspek: religi, identitas sosial, solidaritas sosial dan harmonisasi tradisi leluhur dengan ajaran Islam, nilai keimanan, nilai kesehatan, nilai turun temurun. Ketiga, tradisi khitanan sudah mulai jarang dilakukan untuk mengiringi praktik sunatan. Pasalnya, ada cara baru yang lebih mudah dan nyaman untuk menyunat anak laki-laki, yaitu orang tua hanya perlu membawa anaknya ke dokter atau rumah sakit untuk disunat.  

Pendidikan karakter semakin mendapatkan prioritas dengan diberlakukannya Peraturan Pemerintah no 87 tahun 2017 tentang Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter yang merupakan gerakan pendidikan di bawah tanggung jawab sekolah untuk memperkuat karakter siswa (Pasal 1 PP no.87/2017). Penyelenggaraan Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter dilaksanakan dengan prinsip manajemen berbasis sekolah yang merupakan tanggung jawab kepala sekolah dan guru, sebagai pemenuhan beban kerja guru dan kepala sekolah (Pasal 6 ayat 3,4,5 PP 87/2017). Sesuai arahan presiden Joko Widodo bahwa pendidikan karakter pada jenjang pendidikan dasar mendapatkan porsi yang lebih besar dibandingkan pendidikan yang mengajarkan pengetahuan, untuk Sekolah Dasar sebesar 70 persen sedangkan untuk Sekolah Menengah Pertama sebesar 60 persen. Ketertarikan peneliti untuk mengkaji pendidikan karakter didasari oleh adanya penurunan karakter siswa kelas tinggi dibanding karakter siswa kelas rendah. Fokus kajian utama penelitian ini adalah manajemen penguatan pendidikan karakter di Sekolah Dasar yang meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Kajian dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan.  Hasil penelitiannya bahwa pertama, Perencanaan Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter Peserta Didik Pada Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di SMP IT Al-Manar Bun Kobar telah dilaksanakan dengan baik melalui penyusunan tujuan, strategi dan pemetaan kebijakan serta pemetaan prosedur dan penyempurnaan program menggunanakan rancangan RPP dan silabus; kedua, pelaksanaan Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter Peserta Didik Pada Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di SMP IT Al-Manar Bun Kobar berjalan dengan baik melalui kegiatan kegiatan bersifat religius, penanaman nasionalisme, peduli sosial dan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan; ketiga, evaluasi Perencanaan Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter Peserta Didik Pada Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di SMP IT Al-Manar Bun Kobar  melalui kegiatan pengawasan terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan dengan melaksanakan refleksi, analisis dan rencana tindak lanjut berbasis pendidikan kewarganegaraan.

Background: A nurse who has strong religiosity has close relationship to God, doing the best at the job as the part of altruism behavior, and it will increase the life satisfaction. Aim: This article therefore aims at analyzing the influence of religiosity on life satisfaction with altruism as mediation variable Setting: Siloam Hospital and PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital Yogyakarta. Methods: A cross-sectional design was employed and 187 respondents were selected Siloam Hospital and PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital Yogyakarta. Quantitative        data were collected and analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistics in which frequencies, percentages, mean, standard deviation and regression, also Sobel test were employed. Results: The results show that religiosity has positive effect on altruism, religiosity has positive effect on life satisfaction, and this study also has result that altruism mediating the effect of religiosity on life satisfaction. Conclusion: Altruism inherent in all religions is a determinant of life satisfaction. Individuals who have good religiosity will be encouraged to always do good on the basis of religion and it increases the individual's life satisfaction.

Religious values ​​are very important values ​​in education, especially for strengthening the character of early childhood. Therefore, children are taught about character education so they can behave well. It is very important to shape the character of children through habituation methods in the family, school and environment. with this habituation, the character will grow and develop positively according to Islamic teachings. This study aims to describe the importance of religious values ​​in the formation of children's character, its implementation and influence in everyday life, through religious habits such as praying in congregation, and as etiquette with peers, teachers, as well as parents. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach obtained from interviews with teachers and madrasa heads, The research results obtained are the importance of instilling religious values ​​in early childhood, related to the religious culture that is applied is the habit of praying Dhuha in congregation, morning Quran, following the commemoration of Islamic holidays. Whereas regarding Islamic character education through religious habituation is to apply religious habituation which is carried out every day as a process of forming children's character to behave noble, obedient to worship, honest, tolerant, care for the environment, responsible and become the foundation of faith for children, good character will emerge if religious values ​​are getting stronger and more instilled in the child's environment, both in the family environment and the school environment.

This study aims to determine the parenting style of parents in building children's independence, because the role of parents is very important in building independence in children. The involvement of citizens in creating a harmonious society is important in this era of globalization. However, in reality, social and religious problems are still the background to the occurrence of conflicts to this day. Citizens' concern for interacting and maintaining communication between people is expected to be able to reduce the conflict axes that exist in society and this can be done by citizens, one of which is through religious dialogue. The purpose of this study is to find out how citizen involvement through religious dialogue is able to maintain community harmony. This research is a type of qualitative research with a phenomenological approach where data collection techniques are used, namely interview techniques, documentation studies and through Focus Group Discussion (FGD) activities. Test the validity of the data by using triangulation techniques and data analysis techniques by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions.The results of the study show that interfaith dialogue carried out by the community through interfaith communities can be said to be successful in efforts to increase citizen involvement to create a harmonious community life in the current era of globalization, seeing that there are still many conflicts in several areas that are motivated by social and religious issues. Interfaith dialogue also provides knowledge of the diversity of religions and beliefs adopted by the Indonesian people, all of which aim to maintain the unity and integrity of the nation with the existing diversity. Interfaith dialogue can also be used as an alternative in increasing civic engagement by directly involving people of different religions

The religious, cultural, and ethnic diversity of Indonesia is well-known. Differences in understanding, nationality, and religion are frequently the primary causes of existing difficulties, to name just a few. This study sought to ascertain the relationship between eighth-grade students at SMP Royal Wells Middle School's knowledge and understanding of Islam and the Pancasila ideals. This study used a quantitative research method using a correlational approach. Understanding of Pancasila values is variable Y in this study, while Islamic religious knowledge is variable X. The population of this study consisted of 20 students, and the method of data collection used in it was distributing a questionnaire to eighth-graders at Royal Wells Middle School. The findings revealed a moderate link between Pancasila ideals and knowledge and understanding of Islam. Students can thus use the information on religious values and Pancasila both in the context of the classroom and in the community.  

This study aims to explain the implementation of the demonstration method in learning Islamic religious education at SMA Negeri North Tambun. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Methods of data collection using non-participant observation methods, semi-structured interviews and documentation. The subjects of this study were the principal, Islamic education teachers and class XII IPA students. The data validity was done by using data triangulation technique and source triangulation technique. Data analysis includes data collection (data collection), data reduction (data reduction), data display (data presentation) and conclusion drawing / verification. The result of this research is that in teaching Islamic Education the teacher uses the demonstration method by applying three stages, namely preparation, implementation and evaluation of learning. Preparation for learning the teacher prepares learning tools, formulates goals to be achieved, prepares the necessary tools or media and estimates the time that will be used in learning. The supporting factors are the presence of professional teachers, media, adequate facilities and infrastructure, making it easier for students to understand what is being learned..

This research was conducted at the Subsidized Muhammadiyah Elementary School in Galagah Hulu. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method in which data collection uses observation techniques, interview techniques and documentation techniques. The results of this study indicate that in the habituation of Duha prayer carried out by children in congregation, they find several religious values, namely the value of worship, the value of spirit of jihad, moral values ​​and exemplary values. The character of a child formed since he was small, whether consciously or not, will influence the way the individual perceives himself and his environment which will be reflected in his daily behavior. What is prioritized in character education is the strengthening of religious values, as a means to form a generation that has character, has noble character and loves the sunnah of the Prophet. One of them is in this study, which aims to shape children's character through living hadith learning in the form of a module which contains several components, namely: definitions, to clarify children's understanding of the title being studied, motivational sentences as children's learning motivation,  adab-adab, namely a series of daily sunnah practices that students can carry out and get used to, prayer, namely prayers taken from hadiths related to the material being studied, and memorized hadiths, namely short hadiths that students can memorize. This research was conducted at SDN Muara Baruh, North Amuntai District. This study uses a qualitative descriptive field research method. The results of this study indicate that learning living hadith is very helpful in forming children's attitudes and behavior in everyday life, such as the etiquette of wearing shoes and sandals.

Optimization is an effort to maximize activities so as to realize the desired profit. The words morality and religion are often discussed among the people, wherever and whenever. Moral and religious development in early childhood can be interpreted as psychological changes experienced by early childhood related to their ability to understand and perform good behavior as well as understand and avoid bad behavior based on religious teachings that are believed. This study aims to find out how to optimize moral and religious development in early childhood through the game method. Apart from being a means of entertainment, films can also be a means of guidance to the public through the message contained in the film. Therefore, the public must be more careful in choosing films, especially for children, so as not to fall prey to the negative things that come from the films they watch. Nussa and Rara is one of the children's animated films with the Muslim genre that children like. In this animated film there are positive educational values ​​for children. This study aims to analyze the educational values ​​contained in the film Nussa and Rara in one of its episodes entitled 3S (Senyum, Salam, Sapa).This study used library research methods with mass media analysis as the type of research. The results of the study show that there are two types of character education in the films Nussa and Rara episode 3S (Senyum, Salam, Sapa), namely character education and social education. The character education values ​​contained in the animated film are based on the Ministry of Education and Culture's references, namely religious attitude, fond of reading and curiosity. Meanwhile, the social educational values ​​contained in the film are based on Nashih Ulwan's opinion, namely 1) the inculcation of noble psychological foundations, namely piety and brotherly affection. 2) safeguarding the rights of others, namely the teaching of social etiquette.

Al-Quran education must be given to children from an early age. The application of Al-Quran learning to early childhood in As-Salam Kindergarten aims to educate young children who are Qur'anic and become human resources based on the Al-Quran. Children can know short hadiths and short suras and their meanings about everyday life. This study aims to examine how the implementation of Al-Quran learning affects the development of religious and moral values ​​(NAM) in early childhood. This study used a qualitative descriptive research type with data collection carried out directly at the research location. The informants in this study were group A1 (age 4-5 years) totaling 22 people. How to collect data using interview techniques, observation, and documentation. The results of this study show that in the implementation of Al-Quran learning in the development of NAM in early childhood it shows that children can show good morals, behave politely, care, and be able to maintain personal hygiene. Children can also practice short hadiths in daily life following the sunnah of the Prophet, children also understand the meaning or stories of the surahs of the Al-Quran that are read, along with what important days are commemorated and made special days in Islam.

This study aims to describe how the tahfidz program is implemented in early childhood at the Tahfidz Nazra Cendikia Barabai House. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research type. The results of the research show that the implementation of the tahfidz program at the Nazra Cendikia Hulu Sungai Tengah House consists of three main activities, namely planning, implementation and evaluation. The planning of the tahfidz program starts with discussions with the leaders and all tahfidz teachers. The implementation of the tahfidz program includes initial activities, namely greetings, prayers and reading blessings, followed by reading hypnotherapy, then murajaah together. The main activity is that the students give it to the teachers, before reading the memorized surah the child reads the Iqra or Al-Qur'an first. And finally the closing activity is the delivery of the surah that will be memorized next, murajaah memorization and reading prayers after learning. The assessments used are daily and semester assessments. The methods used are the makhraji, Jibril, ummi, and hypnotherapy methods. The main activity is that the students give it to the teachers, before reading the memorized surah the child reads the Iqra or Al-Qur'an first.
