This study aims to explore the subjective experiences of individuals in relationships with partners with Avoidant Personality Disorder (AvPD) tendencies through a qualitative approach. AvPD is characterized by a pattern of feelings of inadequacy, high sensitivity to rejection, and a tendency to avoid intense social interactions, including intimate relationships. The research method used a phenomenological design with in-depth interviews with three participants who had experience in romantic relationships with individuals with AvPD symptoms. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques to identify emerging patterns of experience. The results showed that individuals in these relationships often experience complex emotional dynamics, such as confusion, frustration, and feelings of emotional unfulfillment. Participants expressed difficulties in building emotional closeness because their partners tended to maintain distance, avoid conflict, and have an excessive fear of rejection. On the other hand, participants also showed high empathy and attempted to understand their partners' psychological conditions, although this often resulted in emotional exhaustion. This study highlights the importance of psychological understanding, effective communication, and professional support in maintaining relationships with individuals with AvPD tendencies. These findings are expected to contribute to the development of psychological interventions and increase awareness of the dynamics of interpersonal relationships involving personality disorders.

The exploitation of natural resources in coastal areas and small islands in Indonesia shows the strong influence of the ideology of extractive capitalism. This ideology often causes ecological conflicts. For example, in the case of the rejection of gold mining that occurred on Sangihe Island, North Sulawesi. This article examines the contemporary Indonesian novel Perempuan yang Tunggu di Lorong Menuju Laut by Dian Purnomo in representing this problem. This study is a qualitative study with an interdisciplinary approach. The main theoretical framework used is ecocriticism (Glotfelty & Buell), extractive capitalism (Gudynas, Harvey, and Bebbington), and the concept of slow violence (Nixon) with a close reading method of the text. The results of the study show that the novel represents: the ideology of anthropocentric-extractive capitalism that reduces Sangihe Island to an economic commodity; dismantles the mechanism of power that conquers law and politics through the practice of elite and ruler collusion; displays the ecocentric resistance of the Sangihe community based on ancestral wisdom and spirituality. In conclusion, this novel voices an ideological critique of the hegemony of anthropocentrism and extractive capitalism and calls for a just and sustainable ecological awareness. Given the novel's limited data, further studies could consider exploring other research subjects or developing a theory of this research subject.

The crisis of authority in global culture is a complex phenomenon reflecting a fundamental shift in how humans understand truth, values, and the sources of legitimacy of knowledge. This research focuses on the dynamics of epistemological change in global society influenced by digital technology, cultural relativism, and value pluralism. The main issue studied is how this crisis of authority influences the construction of truth and value systems in contemporary society, as well as its implications for social and spiritual life. The aim of this research is to develop an interdisciplinary analysis that integrates perspectives from philosophy, sociology, theology, and media studies in understanding this phenomenon. The method used is a qualitative approach based on systematic literature studies with a critical analysis of recent academic sources. The main findings indicate that the crisis of authority is characterized not only by the weakening of traditional institutions but also by the emergence of "alternative authorities" based on algorithms, public opinion, and subjective experience. This results in the fragmentation of truth, the relativization of values, and a crisis of epistemological legitimacy. The synthesis of this research confirms that the reconstruction of authority requires an integrative approach that combines rationality, ethics, and spiritual dimensions. In conclusion, the crisis of authority in global culture is not merely a challenge, but rather an opportunity to build a new epistemological paradigm that is more holistic, reflective, and rooted in transcendent values.

This research is motivated by the complex problems of street children, vagrants, and beggars in Jambi City, which are influenced by poverty, urbanization, and weak social protection. This phenomenon not only impacts public order but also reflects the suboptimal social welfare system at the regional level. Although local governments have implemented various policies through social order and rehabilitation approaches, their effectiveness still faces various structural and cultural challenges. This study uses Bryson's Policy Implementation Mapping theoretical framework, which includes indicators of interests, resources, channels, potential participation, level of influence, implications, and actions as the main analysis. The research approach used is a qualitative case study design to understand the dynamics of policy implementation in depth. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation, with informants selected using purposive sampling until data saturation was achieved. The results show that policy implementation mapping has been carried out through collaboration between the Social Service and the Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) with a structured preventive, repressive, and rehabilitative approach. However, implementation has not been optimal due to limited rehabilitation facilities, lack of coordination between agencies, low community participation, and high mobility of beggars from outside the region. Furthermore, there is a gap between high administrative achievements and the reality on the ground, which still shows a high rate of returning to the streets. This study concludes that mapping policy implementation requires a more holistic, sustainable approach based on economic empowerment and strengthened cross-sectoral coordination to address this social issue more effectively and effectively.

This study examines the concept of God’s holiness in Leviticus 10:1–7 through an exegetical approach to the event of the “strange fire” offered by Nadab and Abihu. The background of this research lies in the need to rediscover the true meaning of God’s holiness, which is often misunderstood in contemporary worship practices. The purpose of this study is to explore the theological meaning of the passage and its implications for faith and worship. The research uses a qualitative method based on literature study, focusing on historical, literary, and thematic analysis of the biblical text. The findings reveal that God’s holiness in this passage is absolute and cannot be violated without serious consequences. The action of Nadab and Abihu in offering unauthorized fire shows that worship is not only about sincere intention but also about obedience to God’s commands. The immediate divine judgment highlights that God’s holiness demands total reverence. Furthermore, this event serves as a warning for the community to maintain holiness in worship. In conclusion, God’s holiness in Leviticus 10:1–7 is radical and requires complete obedience from humanity. The implication of this study is the importance of cultivating reverence, discipline, and obedience in worship, ensuring that faith practices are aligned with God’s will rather than human preference.

The use of building materials plays a crucial role in determining the quality of the built environment, particularly in the context of row housing in densely populated urban areas. This study aims to evaluate the types of materials used in the construction of row housing in Cemara Asri, Medan, with a focus on sustainability and environmental friendliness criteria. The methods employed include direct site surveys and literature studies related to the characteristics of both interior and exterior materials applied to housing units. The research findings indicate that most of the materials used—such as red bricks, ceramic tiles, clay roof tiles, and concrete ventilation blocks—possess good energy efficiency and durability potential. However, they do not fully meet sustainability standards in terms of production processes and waste management. The study also found that residents' awareness of environmentally friendly material selection remains limited, and the procurement of materials tends to follow local availability and economic considerations. These findings are expected to serve as a foundation for improving environmentally friendly material planning in row housing developments in other urban areas.

The rapid growth of e-commerce and social commerce in Indonesia has shifted consumer behavior in seeking information prior to making purchase decisions, particularly through electronic word of mouth (e-WOM). This phenomenon poses a challenge for local fashion brands such as Hamata Studios, which has relatively low digital visibility despite having favorable product ratings. This study aims to analyze the effect of e-WOM on purchase intention with brand trust as a mediating variable based on the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) theory. This research employs a quantitative approach with an associative research design. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to respondents who are familiar with or have interacted with Hamata Studios, using a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling method. Data analysis techniques include descriptive and inferential statistical analysis using path analysis, as well as mediation testing using the Sobel test and Variance Accounted For (VAF). The results indicate that e-WOM has a positive and significant effect on both purchase intention and brand trust. Furthermore, brand trust has a positive and significant effect on purchase intention. Mediation testing reveals that brand trust significantly mediates the relationship between e-WOM and purchase intention. In conclusion, positive e-WOM can enhance brand trust, which in turn increases consumers’ purchase intention.

This study examines the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in enhancing student collaborative learning, with a particular emphasis on AI-driven feedback mechanisms and patterns of student interaction in developing effective collaborative skills. Unlike prior studies, this research highlights the mediating effect of AI-driven feedback on teamwork efficiency and overall learning outcomes in collaborative environments. An explanatory quantitative approach was applied using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to ensure robust data analysis. Data were collected from 112 university students who were actively engaged in AI-assisted collaborative learning activities, using a structured online survey instrument. The data were subsequently analyzed using SmartPLS software. The results reveal that AI significantly enhances student interaction (β = 0.534, p < 0.000) and improves problem-solving feedback (β = 0.620, p < 0.000), both of which contribute to significantly strengthening collaborative skills (β = 0.716, p < 0.000). However, the findings also indicate that AI alone does not directly improve collaboration without the support of structured pedagogical design and guidance. Therefore, universities should strategically integrate AI-driven feedback into Learning Management Systems (LMS) and strengthen digital literacy initiatives to optimize the effectiveness and sustainability of AI in collaborative learning contexts.

Employee engagement is critical to organizational performance, employee well-being, and long-term sustainability. In hybrid work contexts, generational differences have become increasingly evident, particularly between Generation Y and Generation Z employees. Generation Y tends to emphasize work–life balance, career development, and meaningful collaboration, while Generation Z prioritizes flexibility, job security, digital integration, and the use of technology in the workplace. This study adopts a systematic literature review (SLR) approach by synthesizing findings from various peer-reviewed studies related to employee engagement and hybrid work practices across generations. The review focuses on identifying key factors that influence employee engagement in modern work environments. The results indicate that hybrid work can significantly enhance employee engagement when organizations provide flexibility, autonomy, adequate technological support, professional development opportunities, and fair reward systems. In addition, supportive organizational culture and effective leadership are important in maintaining employee motivation and commitment. However, differences in generational expectations require organizations to implement adaptive managerial strategies, including flexible work policies, personalized communication approaches, and inclusive leadership practices to strengthen employee engagement across different generations in hybrid work settings.

Laparotomy is a major surgical procedure associated with a high risk of acute postoperative pain. According to Gan (2017), if pain is not properly managed, it can progress to chronic pain. (Toro et al., 2018) reported that severe pain on the first postoperative day is still commonly found in laparotomy patients, while (Small & Laycock, 2020) indicated that moderate to severe pain within the first 24 hours following major surgery remains a significant clinical issue. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of pharmacological pain management following laparotomy under general anesthesia, specifically to identify the types of opioid analgesics used, analyze their effectiveness in reducing pain intensity, identify side effects, and examine administration techniques and routes. This study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method following the PRISMA guidelines. Literature searches were conducted in the PubMed, ScienceDirect, and SpringerLink databases covering the years 2015–2026. The included studies comprised randomized controlled trials (RCTs), cohort studies, and retrospective studies addressing opioid pharmacological pain management in adult patients following laparotomy under general anesthesia. Study quality assessment was performed using the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) instrument. A total of 11 studies met the inclusion criteria. The results of the systematic literature review indicate that opioids are effective in reducing postoperative pain following laparotomy under general anesthesia. The most commonly used opioids are morphine, fentanyl, and oxycodone. Of all the opioids reviewed, oxycodone provided the best pain control, while intrathecal morphine was most effective in reducing the need for supplemental opioids during the early postoperative period. Other opioids, such as extended-release dinalbuphine sebacate and tegileridine, are also effective, but the number of studies is still limited. The most common side effects are nausea, vomiting, pruritus, sedation, and dizziness. Pharmacological pain management using opioids is effective in reducing the intensity of postoperative pain following laparotomy under general anesthesia. Morphine, fentanyl, and oxycodone are the most commonly used opioids. Oxycodone and intrathecal morphine have shown good results in improving pain control and reducing the need for supplemental opioids. The selection of opioid type, dosage, and administration technique must be tailored to the patient’s clinical condition to achieve optimal analgesia with minimal side effects.

This study aims to analyze the impact of bullying on adolescents’ mental health through a literature review. The method used is a literature review, which involves the collection and analysis of various relevant scientific articles published in the last five years.  Data were obtained from journals and related scientific works, then systematically analyzed to identify patterns of association between bullying and adolescents’ mental health. The results of the review indicate that the majority of studies reveal a negative impact of bullying on mental health, such as the emergence of anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, and difficulties in social interaction. However, some studies found that this relationship was not statistically significant, suggesting the role of other factors, such as social support, family circumstances, and an individual’s ability to cope with stress. In addition to affecting victims, bullying also impacts perpetrators and bystanders, making it a complex phenomenon. Therefore, comprehensive prevention and intervention efforts are needed through collaboration between schools, families, and the community.

This study examines the effectiveness of urban city parks as a form of Urban Green Open Space (UGOS) in Jayapura City, focusing on Imbi Park (2,347.20 m²) and Mesran Park (2,122.88 m²). A mixed-methods approach combined direct observation of six park characteristics with a questionnaire-based rating-scale assessment of nineteen functional variables covering socio-cultural, aesthetic, and economic functions. Data were collected from 100 visitors and 31 street vendors, and analyzed using descriptive statistics and scoring analysis in accordance with Minister of Public Works Regulation No. 05/PRT/M/2008. Both parks share three dominant functions socio-cultural, aesthetic, and economic while the ecological function is present but not dominant. For Imbi Park, the socio-cultural function was moderately effective (1.8–2.0), aesthetic moderately effective to effective (2.4–2.6), and economic moderately effective (1.8–1.9). For Mesran Park, socio-cultural and aesthetic functions were moderately effective (1.8–2.2), while the economic function was ineffective (1.6). The main weaknesses across both parks are the unavailability of security posts and limited diversity of park-produce-based economic activities. The study recommends developing supporting facilities and a park-profile web portal to improve effectiveness and information accessibility.
