Waste management is a major challenge in environmental conservation in Indonesia. One innovative approach that can be implemented is the use of informative waste signs as a visual educational medium for the public. Waste signs are information boards placed in strategic locations to provide knowledge about the types of waste, their environmental impacts, and the decomposition time of various materials. The Community Service Program (KKN) of Padang State University (UNP) has implemented this concept by creating educational boards containing information on waste decomposition time, ranging from waste that decomposes in 50–100 years to waste that does not decompose at all. This article aims to examine the concept, benefits, and effectiveness of waste signs as a community-based environmental education instrument. The methods used include field observation and a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of the study indicate that waste signs can increase public awareness of the importance of proper waste management. Thus, this medium has the potential to be a simple yet effective educational tool in supporting sustainable environmentally friendly behavior.

Primary education is crucial for child development, especially at the elementary school level. Children begin to acquire various basic knowledge that will shape their cognitive, social, and emotional abilities. However, reality shows that schools can also become sites of aggressive behavior in the form of bullying. According to the Ministry of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection (2023), cases of bullying in elementary schools have shown an increasing trend over the past five years. The purpose of this activity is to broaden students' understanding of bullying and its impacts, foster empathy and mutual respect, and strengthen the roles of teachers and parents in creating a safe and inclusive school environment. Findings indicate the presence of students who still lack understanding regarding types of bullying, with a high category showing that some individuals remain frequent targets of bullying. This may be caused by factors such as physical differences, social status, family background, or weak social support from peers. This condition indicates that schools still need to implement preventive and intervention approaches to protect students who are vulnerable to bullying.

Indonesia ranks 36th among countries most prone to natural disasters, with 216 earthquakes recorded by BNPB between 2009 and 2019. Aceh is one of the high-risk regions, having experienced major disasters such as floods, earthquakes, and the 2004 tsunami. These conditions highlight the importance of knowledge of basic life support (BLS), which is essential for managing respiratory arrest, cardiac arrest, and airway obstruction in emergency situations. This study aimed to determine the level of basic life support knowledge among health workers at the North Lhoksukon Health Center, Aceh. A descriptive observational method with a survey approach was used to provide a general overview of respondents’ characteristics. The study applied univariate analysis and involved a total sample of 139 health workers. The results showed that most respondents had a good level of knowledge (116 people; 83.5%), followed by sufficient knowledge (13 people; 9.4%) and poor knowledge (10 people; 7.2%). These findings indicate that while the majority of health workers demonstrate good understanding, there is still a need for improvement among those in the sufficient and poor categories. Therefore, it is recommended that institutions provide regular BLS training to maintain and enhance the knowledge of health workers.

Taxes are a primary source of state revenue and play a crucial role in supporting national development. However, increasing tax revenue still faces several challenges, particularly the lack of public awareness in fulfilling tax obligations. This study aims to examine the role of public awareness in improving taxpayer compliance and its impact on state revenue. The approach used in this research is qualitative, reviewing literature from various previous studies. Research findings indicate that tax awareness, understanding, and knowledge have a positive impact on taxpayer compliance. Other economic factors such as inflation, population, and economic growth also play a role in influencing tax revenue. However, external factors such as socialization and tax sanctions show inconsistent results. Consequently, increasing public awareness through tax education is a key strategy for sustainably improving the country's performance. In addition, transparent tax management and effective government communication are important factors in strengthening public trust and encouraging voluntary taxpayer compliance. Therefore, collaboration between the government and society is needed to create a sustainable and effective taxation system that supports national economic growth.

Hypertension is a major public health concern with a high prevalence and a significant risk of complications if left uncontrolled. Effective management requires not only pharmacological treatment but also non-pharmacological approaches and active family involvement. One potential non-pharmacological therapy is the use of celery (Apium graveolens), which is believed to lower blood pressure. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of family education combined with celery decoction administration in reducing blood pressure among patients with hypertension. A descriptive case study design was employed using a family nursing care approach over three home visits, each lasting 30–45 minutes. The intervention included health education on hypertension and a demonstration of how to prepare and administer celery decoction, which was consumed twice daily. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and blood pressure measurements. The results showed a reduction in blood pressure from 159/90 mmHg to 130/80 mmHg, along with a decrease in symptoms such as headaches and dizziness. In addition, there was an improvement in family knowledge, caregiving skills, and the ability to modify the home environment. In conclusion, family-based education combined with the administration of celery decoction appears to be effective in reducing blood pressure and enhancing the family’s role in managing hypertension.

This study explores how the integrated Resource-Based View (iRBV) and Dynamic Capabilities (DC) explain the early stage of SME internationalization in Indonesia. An exploratory single-case study design is employed on a koi-breeding SME that has engaged in export activities, using a Likert-scale questionnaire to identify VRIN resources, dynamic capabilities, export performance, and internationalization barriers. The findings indicate that the SME possesses relatively strong export market knowledge, network competence, and quality reputation, but remains weak in global certifications, administrative support, and logistical capacity. From a DC perspective, sensing and seizing capabilities are already developed, whereas transforming capability is still limited in terms of reconfiguring the business model, strengthening human resources, and institutionalizing export routines. Overall, the results underscore that the success of SME internationalization is determined not only by the ownership of internal resources, but also by the firm’s ability to reconfigure those resources in the presence of environmental and institutional constraint.

Patient safety culture is a critical component in healthcare organizations, reflecting the values, attitudes, competencies, and behavioral patterns that ensure safe patient care. This study aims to analyze the influence of knowledge and work environment on patient safety culture, with attitude serving as an intervening variable. A quantitative approach with an explanatory causal design was employed, involving 118 nurses as respondents selected through total population sampling. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares. The findings reveal that both knowledge and work environment have a significant direct effect on patient safety culture. Additionally, knowledge and work environment significantly influence attitudes, while attitudes themselves have a significant effect on patient safety culture. However, attitude does not mediate the relationship between knowledge and patient safety culture, but it does mediate the influence of the work environment on patient safety culture. These results indicate that improving nurses’ knowledge and creating a supportive work environment are essential strategies for strengthening patient safety culture. The study also highlights the importance of fostering positive attitudes through organizational support and conducive working conditions. The implications suggest that hospital management should focus on continuous training programs, enhancing workplace conditions, and developing systems that promote positive behavioral attitudes among healthcare workers to improve overall patient safety outcomes.

One of the most important factors influencing how well students learn is their motivation to learn. Teachers must actively manage students' psychological well-being, as low motivation to learn can lead to less-than-ideal learning outcomes. In addition to imparting knowledge, teachers can also act as motivators and facilitators, fostering an emotionally and psychologically supportive learning environment. Therefore, particularly in madrasah environments that prioritize spiritual values, teachers' psychological management techniques are crucial for enhancing students' motivation to learn. The purpose of this study was to examine various psychological management techniques used by madrasah instructors to enhance students' willingness to learn. A qualitative research approach with a literature review approach was used as the methodology. Information was gathered from various sources, including books, academic journals, and related documents on learning motivation and educational psychology management. The findings revealed a number of useful tactics that educators can employ, such as developing strong emotional bonds with students, fostering a relaxed and supportive learning environment, expressing gratitude and positive reinforcement, recognizing each student's unique needs and characteristics, and incorporating spiritual values into the educational process. As demonstrated by increased active engagement, learning interest, and learning outcomes, the implementation of these methods has been shown to enhance students' motivation to learn. Therefore, effective and meaningful learning is greatly influenced by the teacher's psychological management.
