This study investigates the levels of asprosin and irisin in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and diabetic nephropathy (DN), and evaluates their relationships with insulin resistance, glycemic control, and renal function. Additionally, it explores their diagnostic performance as potential non-invasive biomarkers for the early detection of DN using ROC curve analysis. A controlled prospective study was conducted involving 130 participants, categorized into healthy controls, T2DM patients, and T2DM with DN. Serum asprosin, irisin, and insulin levels were measured using ELISA, while biochemical and renal parameters such as fasting blood glucose, HbA1c, creatinine, urea, and eGFR were assessed using standard spectrophotometric techniques. ROC analysis was employed to assess the diagnostic accuracy of asprosin and irisin. Asprosin levels were significantly elevated, while irisin levels were markedly reduced in DN patients compared to T2DM and control groups (p < 0.001). Moreover, DN patients exhibited higher levels of fasting glucose, HbA1c, HOMA-IR, creatinine, and urea, with lower eGFR, indicating substantial renal dysfunction. ROC analysis revealed that asprosin had an AUC of 0.910 (95% CI: 0.839–0.981), with 90.0% sensitivity and 88.9% specificity at a cutoff value of 11.27 ng/mL. Irisin showed an AUC of 0.886 (95% CI: 0.812–0.960), with 95.0% sensitivity and 71.1% specificity at a 158.25 ng/mL cutoff. Asprosin and irisin are strongly associated with insulin resistance and renal impairment in patients with T2DM and DN. Their high diagnostic performance supports their utility as promising non-invasive biomarkers for the early detection and monitoring of diabetic nephropathy progression.

This study aims to describe the implementation of multisensory strategies in improving the early reading skills and comprehension of dyslexic children in grade 2 of Bugel 2 Public Elementary School. The subject of the study was a student with dyslexia characteristics who had shown difficulties in phonological aspects, letter recognition, reading syllables, and reading comprehension. The method used was direct observation using an early reading test instrument, a comprehension test, and a learning behavior observation sheet. The results showed that the implementation of multisensory strategies (Visual-Auditory-Kinesthetic-Tactile) through letter tracing activities, reading with the help of sounds, arranging letter cards, and reading together exercises was able to improve reading accuracy, strengthen letter-sound relationships, and foster students' self-confidence. Thus, multisensory strategies were proven effective in helping dyslexic children master early reading skills and comprehend simple texts. This study provides an important contribution to the development of more inclusive and effective teaching methods, especially for students with dyslexia, who require a more holistic and comprehensive approach to improve their literacy skills. As a suggestion, the implementation of this strategy can be expanded by involving more students and considering variations in the types of texts and teaching materials used.

This study aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of the psychological journey of the character Rangga Raja in the novel 0 MDPL by Nurwina Sari. The main focus of the study is to identify the inner conflicts experienced by the protagonist as well as the dynamics of the personality structure consisting of the Id, Ego, and Superego that shape his psychological development throughout the storyline. This research employs a literary psychology approach using a qualitative descriptive method, conducted through a literature review and document analysis of the novel text as the primary data source. The findings indicate that Rangga Raja experiences complex emotional conflicts resulting from past trauma, experiences of loss, and failures in romantic relationships. These conditions are reflected through the tensions and interactions between the Id, Ego, and Superego within himself. The process toward the “zero point” (0 MDPL) is interpreted as a symbol of an identity crisis phase as well as a stage of self-reconstruction, in which the protagonist undergoes processes of reflection, self-acceptance, and openness to change. In addition, Rangga’s interactions with other characters, such as Andini, La Nina, and Nadia G. Sahara, play an important role in his psychological recovery and healing process. This study confirms that the novel 0 MDPL represents a profound reflection on human psychological dynamics, the search for identity, and the gradual process of inner healing.

Unregistered marriage (nikah siri) in Indonesia refers to marriages conducted in accordance with Islamic religious law but not officially recorded by the state. This legal gap creates significant challenges, particularly concerning the legal status of wives, children, and marital property. This study employs a normative juridical research methodology to examine the legal consequences of unregistered marriages on the positions of wives, children, and property, as well as to analyze the forms of legal protection available for children born from such marriages. The findings reveal that wives in unregistered marriages lack legal protection comparable to those in registered marriages, including rights to marital property, alimony, and inheritance. Children born from these unions initially possess legal relationships only with their mothers and maternal families. However, Constitutional Court Decision No. 46/PUU-VIII/2010 established a legal pathway for children to establish civil relationships with their biological fathers through scientific evidence such as DNA testing. Despite this judicial development, practical implementation faces considerable obstacles including evidentiary difficulties, social stigma, and limited access to legal remedies. This research concludes that active state intervention and institutional support remain essential to safeguard children's fundamental rights, including identity, inheritance, and protection from legal and social discrimination.

The culture of patronage is a key characteristic of Indonesian political dynamics, having developed from the pre-colonial era to the contemporary democratic era. Despite decentralization and political reforms in Indonesia, patronage practices persist through relationships between political elites, bureaucracy, business actors, and communities, particularly at the local level. This study analyzes patronage using Pierre Bourdieu's Social Practice Theory framework, which emphasizes the interaction between habitus, capital, and the arena as factors shaping social practices. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques through desk studies, which allows researchers to examine various academic literature to build a comprehensive conceptual analysis. The research findings indicate that internalized political habitus, the accumulation of economic, social, cultural, and symbolic capital, and a competitive local political field are key elements in perpetuating patronage. Patronage is not merely a transactional political practice, but a social structure that is continuously reproduced and impacts the politicization of bureaucracy, the strengthening of oligarchy, power inequality, and the vulnerability of the poor to political manipulation. This research confirms that efforts to strengthen democracy in Indonesia require transformation of the political habitus of society, bureaucratic reform, and restrictions on the dominance of economic actors in the political arena to break the entrenched patron-client chain.

The development of social media has encouraged students to be more active in interacting, sharing information, and establishing relationships online. However, the high intensity of social media use also increases the risk of personal data leakage. This literature study aims to examine the relationship between privacy awareness and students' safe behavior in social media use. The research was conducted by examining various sources, including scientific journals, articles, research reports, books, and online references relevant to digital security issues. The results of the study show that privacy awareness has a significant role in shaping students' safe behavior. This awareness is reflected through the practice of using strong passwords, the implementation of two-factor authentication, and prudence in sharing personal information in the digital space. Although knowledge about digital threats is quite adequate, students' safe behavior is still influenced by the level of internalization of privacy awareness. Therefore, increasing privacy awareness requires not only information, but also educational strategies that emphasize the formation of consistent digital attitudes and habits. This study makes an important contribution to understanding the relationship between privacy awareness and safe behavior, as well as being the basis for the development of more effective digital literacy programs among students.

This article examines in depth the concept of protecting human dignity through the regulation of gaze and physical contact among mahram according to the Shafi‘i School of Islamic law. From an Islamic perspective, the preservation of dignity (ḥifẓ al-‘irḍ) occupies a highly fundamental position as part of the objectives of Islamic law, particularly in regulating social relations and family interactions. Although mahram relationships legally allow closer interaction, Islam continues to establish ethical boundaries to safeguard purity and moral values. This study is a normative legal research employing conceptual and normative-fiqh approaches, relying on primary sources such as the Qur’an, the Prophetic traditions (hadith), and classical as well as contemporary Shafi‘i jurisprudential literature. The findings indicate that the Shafi‘i School does not regard mahram relations as a sphere of absolute and unrestricted freedom, but instead provides clear regulations concerning gaze and physical contact. Visual interaction is permitted in a limited manner, restricted to certain parts of the body and subject to the condition that it does not provoke desire or potential moral temptation (fitnah). Meanwhile, physical contact is regulated more strictly and, in principle, is only permitted in situations of legitimate shar‘i necessity, such as medical treatment or emergency circumstances. Therefore, the regulation of gaze and physical contact among mahram in the Shafi‘i School functions as an instrument for protecting human dignity, preserving the sanctity of family relationships, and preventing behavioral deviations from an early stage.

Food safety is a crucial aspect of public health, particularly for elementary school children who frequently consume street food or snacks sold within school environments. Food handlers play a key role in determining the level of hygiene and sanitation of the food served. This study aims to analyze the factors associated with food handlers’ hygiene behavior in elementary school canteens in Telanaipura District, Jambi City. This research employed a quantitative method with a cross-sectional approach involving 41 food handlers as respondents. Data were collected through structured interviews using questionnaires and direct observations based on hygiene and food sanitation standards in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Health No. 1096/Menkes/PER/VI/2011. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate methods with the Chi-Square test at a significance level of p < 0.05. The results showed that most food handlers exhibited poor hygiene behavior (61.0%). There were significant relationships between knowledge (p = 0.048), attitude (p = 0.000), and availability of facilities and infrastructure (p = 0.000) with hygiene behavior, while education level showed no significant association (p = 0.187). It can be concluded that improving hygiene behavior requires continuous training, supervision, and provision of adequate sanitation facilities to support food safety in school environments.

Oral loan agreements remain a prevalent form of contract in Indonesian society, particularly within familial relationships, friendships, and informal financial transactions. This study aims to examine the legal standing of oral loan agreements under the Indonesian Civil Code (Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Perdata/KUHPerdata) and to analyse the evidentiary mechanisms applicable in cases of default (wanprestasi). This research employs a normative juridical approach, utilising secondary data sources comprising legislation, legal doctrines, and relevant court decisions. The findings indicate that oral loan agreements are legally valid and binding provided they satisfy the requirements stipulated in Article 1320 of the Civil Code, namely mutual consent, legal capacity, a specific object, and a lawful cause. However, the fundamental weakness of such agreements lies in the evidentiary challenges that arise during dispute resolution. In the absence of written documentation, proof of the agreement's existence and content must rely on alternative forms of evidence, including witness testimony, acknowledgement by the parties, bank transfer records, receipts, electronic communications, and circumstantial evidence as recognised under Article 1866 of the Civil Code and the Electronic Information and Transactions Law. The success of claims in default cases largely depends on the strength, consistency, and relevance of the evidence presented. This study concludes that while oral agreements possess full legal force, parties are strongly advised to document loan transactions in writing or secure supporting evidence to ensure greater legal certainty and facilitate effective dispute resolution.

The phenomenon of marriages between Indonesian citizens (WNI) and refugees represents a complex legal challenge due to the absence of specific regulations governing such relationships. This study examines the legal protection for Indonesian citizens who become victims of manipulative marriages by refugees, employing a normative juridical approach with statutory and conceptual methods. The research analyses primary legal materials, including the 1945 Constitution, Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage, Law Number 39 of 1999 concerning Human Rights, and Presidential Regulation Number 125 of 2016 concerning the Handling of Refugees from Abroad. The findings reveal that Indonesian national law does not specifically regulate marriages between Indonesian citizens and refugees or asylum seekers, creating a significant legal vacuum (rechtsvacuum) that renders such relationships vulnerable to abuse, violence, and legal uncertainty. Furthermore, the state's responsibility in protecting Indonesian citizen victims of manipulative marriages by refugees has not been optimally implemented, despite constitutional and juridical foundations requiring protection from all forms of violence, discrimination, and exploitation. The study recommends the formulation of specific regulations addressing marriages between Indonesian citizens and refugees, strengthening the role of victim protection institutions, and establishing inter-agency coordination systems, including international organisations such as UNHCR and IOM, to prevent abuse and strengthen law enforcement mechanisms.

The development of the modern world, characterized by advances in digital technology, globalization, and complex social dynamics, has created new challenges in child-rearing practices, particularly for Muslim families. Children require not only the fulfillment of physical needs and formal education, but also balanced emotional, social, and spiritual support. This study aims to examine the concept of child-rearing based on love and compassion from the perspective of Islamic psychology, identify the core principles of Islamic parenting, and explain its implications for children’s psychological development. This research employed a qualitative approach using a literature review method with a systematic literature review design. Data sources were obtained from academic books as well as nationally accredited journals and reputable international journals published between 2020 and 2024. The data were analyzed using content analysis and thematic analysis to identify patterns, key concepts, and relationships among variables. The findings indicate that parenting grounded in love and compassion (rahmah), combined with role modeling, justice, and wisdom in discipline, contributes positively to children’s emotional, social, moral, and spiritual development. Warm and responsive Islamic parenting supports the development of effective emotional regulation, prosocial behavior, and the internalization of faith-based and moral values in children. The results also demonstrate a strong alignment between Islamic parenting concepts and the compassionate parenting approach in modern psychology, with Islamic psychology offering a distinctive strength in its spiritual dimension. This study contributes to the reinforcement of the theoretical framework of Islamic psychology and provides practical recommendations for parents and educators in implementing balanced parenting that integrates compassion, discipline, and Islamic values in the modern era.

Reboan Agung at the Ahlus Shafa Wal Wafa Islamic Boarding School is a recitation tradition that is carried out regularly every Wednesday and Thursday evenings. This activity began in 2002 from a simple recitation led by KH. Mohammad Nizam As-Shofa, who at that time was only followed by a few people, especially his family members. Over time, this study developed into a large spiritual community and served as an important place to instill the values of Sufism and Islamic spirituality to the students and their congregation. This research aims to analyze the role of Majlis Reboan Agung in supporting the spirituality of the congregation within the Ahlus Shafa Wal Wafa Islamic Boarding School Foundation. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. The research results show that Majlis Reboan Agung has a very important role in supporting the spirituality of the congregation. Many congregants felt calm, motivated, and experienced positive changes such as increased patience, sincerity, surrender, enthusiasm, and determination in facing life's trials. They apply these values in their daily lives, which have an impact on ego control, self-understanding, and better relationships with other people. These findings show that Reboan Agung functions as an effective means for cultivating spirituality, not only increasing religious knowledge, but also forming character, strengthening ukhuwah, and growing the congregation's commitment to consistently practicing Islamic teachings.

The postmodern era has significantly reshaped the way truth is understood, shifting it from an absolute and binding concept to one that is perceived as relative, personal, and context-dependent. This shift has had a profound impact on Generation Z, who have grown up in a digital, pluralistic, and rapidly changing cultural environment. Within this context of increasing truth relativism, the church faces a critical challenge: how to faithfully uphold and teach the absolute truth of the Gospel while remaining relevant to Generation Z, whose worldview is shaped by postmodern patterns of thought. This article examines the concrete challenges encountered by the church amid truth relativism, explores the role and strategies of the church in communicating absolute truth in ways that are meaningful to Generation Z, and proposes practical approaches that can be implemented by local churches today. Employing a literature review methodology, this study engages a range of academic and theological sources related to postmodernism, truth relativism, and faith formation among Generation Z. The findings suggest that the church’s relevance is not achieved through compromising truth, but through presenting the truth of Christ in a contextual, dialogical, and loving manner grounded in authentic relationships. Consequently, the church is called to be a community that not only proclaims truth but also lives it out in tangible ways within the lives of Generation Z.

This study aims to analyze the relationship between the implementation of Law Number 16 of 2019 on Marriage and socioeconomic status with public awareness of early marriage in Wirosari District, Grobogan Regency. The phenomenon of early marriage in this area remains high despite the existence of regulations that set a minimum marriage age. A quantitative approach was used, with data collected through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The research population consisted of 169 couples who married early in the last three years, with a sample of 43 couples selected through purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using the product moment correlation test to determine the relationships between the variables. The results show that the implementation of Law Number 16 of 2019 has no significant relationship with public awareness of early marriage, indicating that despite the existence of the regulation, the public's understanding of the importance of the minimum marriage age is still not optimal. Conversely, socioeconomic status has a positive and significant relationship with public awareness, indicating that the higher the socioeconomic status, the higher the public's awareness of the negative impacts of early marriage.

The phenomenon of the economic spending patterns of FISH students at Jakarta State University living in the Daksinapati, Pemuda, and Rawamangun Muka areas reflects the socio-economic dynamics of out-of-town students adjusting to independent living in a big city. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach through in-depth interviews with five informants living in three different boarding houses. The analysis was conducted using Mark Granovetter's (1985) Embeddedness theory, which emphasizes that individual economic actions are always embedded within social networks, norms, and interpersonal relationships that shape their consumption decisions. The results show that student spending is influenced not only by primary needs such as rent, food, and transportation, but also by social relationships within the boarding house and campus, which give rise to latent expenditures such as hanging out, pooling activities, organizational solidarity, and peer lifestyle demands. Thus, the consumption patterns of out-of-town students are not merely individual economic activities but also social mechanisms reflecting the process of adaptation, solidarity, and efforts to maintain integration within the social environment they inhabit.
