The refugee crisis experienced by Bangladesh due to the mass exodus of Rohingya refugees fleeing ethnic conflict in Myanmar is one of the largest refugee issues in the world. This crisis needs to be addressed immediately as it can threaten the lives of both the local population and the refugees themselves. Overcrowded shelters, housing nearly 1 million refugees with half of the population being children, increase the risk of disease transmission and violence, which can be a deadly combination for children. Therefore, to tackle the refugee problem, especially in fulfilling the rights of Rohingya children in Bangladesh, international actors' assistance is urgently needed. One of the organizations involved is UNICEF. UNICEF strives to provide aid in line with its capabilities and functions as an international organization focused on children and women. The aid provided by UNICEF is in the form of foreign aid or humanitarian assistance, divided into two types: material assistance and technical assistance. Material assistance includes the provision of clean water, food, hygiene supplies, education, and shelter. Technical assistance is provided through protection, training, and counseling. In its efforts to meet the needs of Rohingya refugee children, UNICEF has established the "UNICEF’s Humanitarian Action for Children in Bangladesh: Rohingya Influx" program, covering several sectors, including Child Protection, Health, Education, Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), and Nutrition. The humanitarian assistance provided aligns with the stipulations of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) regarding the fulfillment of the rights of refugee children.

This community service activity is carried out to enhance the knowledge, awareness, willingness, and ability of the community, especially students of SD GMIT Bone, to engage in Clean and Healthy Living Behaviors (PHBS) and to provide facilities that enhance awareness of clean and healthy living. Chronic kidney failure is a serious health problem that not only attacks adults, but can also develop since childhood. One of the main risk factors is unhealthy living habits, including lack of personal hygiene, consumption of unhealthy food, and minimal physical activity. In order to increase awareness regarding the importance of a clean and healthy lifestyle among children, health education efforts are needed from an early age, especially in schools as an environment where children spend a lot of time. Many children do not understand the relationship between personal hygiene, diet and kidney health. Based on the results of interviews with teachers and school health staff, there are several unhealthy behaviors among students, such as rarely washing their hands, excessive consumption of sweet drinks, and low daily physical activity. In addition, only a few students understand the importance of maintaining hydration and adequate water intake for kidney health. This outreach activity will be carried out in several stages, including counseling about the importance of a clean and healthy lifestyle, demonstrations teaching correct hand washing and distribution of leaflets about information on a clean and healthy lifestyle.

Stunting is a condition of failure to thrive in children under five (for babies under five years of age) which is caused by chronic malnutrition so that the child is too short for his age. Stunting causes children to not reach their maximum height and disrupts brain development which will affect cognitive abilities. One in five children in Indonesia is reported to be stunted. The long-term impact of stunting will cause children to have difficulty receiving lessons, decreased learning achievement, decreased work productivity, low income and minimal participation in community activities. The cause of stunting in toddlers is often the result of many factors related to poverty, including poor diet, health, hygiene and the environment. The current effort being made is to provide education about high protein foods. The education provided aims to enable mothers of toddlers to play a role in providing a healthy, high-protein menu so that it can prevent the incidence of stunting. This community service is carried out with the aim of increasing the knowledge and understanding of mothers of toddlers regarding providing MP-ASI high in animal protein to prevent stunting. It is hoped that after participating in this service activity, mothers of toddlers will be able to provide MP-ASI high in animal protein for toddlers to support their children's height growth.
