Enhancing the efficiency of renewable energy on ships is crucial for reducing dependency on fossil fuels. This research employs the Research and Development (R&D) method, aiming to design and implement a solar panel optimization system for battery charging, with a focus on increasing power efficiency and providing real-time performance monitoring. The system is designed using Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) technology to maximize the solar panel's power output. A 200Wp solar panel with dimensions of 1290 x 760 x 30 mm was utilized. Static testing results show that the deployed sensors possess a high degree of accuracy, with an average error of 0.71% for the temperature sensor and only 1.81% for the light sensor used to monitor environmental conditions. Dynamic and system integration tests prove that the MPPT implementation significantly increases power output efficiency by 30.83% compared to a system without MPPT. Furthermore, the system with MPPT charges the battery approximately 27% faster. Additionally, the developed Modbus protocol-based monitoring system enables comprehensive and remote monitoring of key parameters such as voltage, current, temperature, and light intensity via a cloud database. Data communication reliability tests confirmed the system's capability to transmit entire data packets to a Google Sheets database at a periodic interval of 15 seconds without failure. Based on these results, the developed solar panel optimization system is feasible for implementation in maritime environments to enhance the utilization efficiency of renewable energy and the operational reliability of onboard systems.

The use of fossil-fueled vehicles has long been a major cause of exhaust emissions that pollute the air and exacerbate global climate change. In an effort to address this problem, Indonesia has begun developing electric vehicles as a more environmentally friendly alternative solution. Electric vehicles (EVs) are considered capable of reducing dependence on fossil fuels while simultaneously reducing air pollution levels. The Indonesian government has demonstrated its commitment to supporting electric vehicle development by issuing several strategic policies, including Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 55 of 2019 concerning the Acceleration of the Battery-Based Electric Motor Vehicle Program for Road Transportation, and Presidential Instruction (Inpres) Number 7 of 2022 concerning the Use of Battery-Based Electric Motor Vehicles as official vehicles for central and regional government agencies. In line with these policies, research was conducted to assess the power consumption efficiency of the Ken Dedes electric vehicle prototype, designed using a 250-watt DC motor and a mid-drive system. The main focus of this research was to analyze the effect of variations in module input voltage and gear size on the vehicle's power consumption level. The method used was an experimental approach with a quantitative approach, where a series of tests were conducted on several gear combinations and input voltage levels. The results of the study indicate that variations in these two parameters—gear size and input voltage—significantly affect motor power consumption. The most optimal combination in this study achieved a power consumption efficiency of 6 Wh/km. This figure demonstrates the most energy-efficient performance in vehicle operation and can serve as a benchmark for further development of similar electric vehicles. This research provides an important contribution to efforts to encourage the use of more efficient and sustainable electric vehicles in Indonesia.

Cardiac arrest is a medical emergency that results in the sudden cessation of heart function, leading to more than 7 million deaths worldwide annually. In Indonesia, its prevalence is not well-documented. Ischemic heart disease is the primary cause, with other risk factors like hypertension, diabetes, obesity, and smoking also contributing. Clinical signs include loss of responsiveness, impaired breathing, and the absence of a pulse. Diagnosis is based on history, physical examination, electrocardiography, laboratory tests, and imaging to determine the underlying cause. Treatment follows the 2020 American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines, starting with basic life support (BLS), followed by Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). ACLS includes high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), early defibrillation for shockable rhythms, epinephrine administration, and airway management through intubation. Once Return of Spontaneous Circulation (ROSC) is achieved, post-cardiac arrest care is crucial, including hemodynamic stabilization, Targeted Temperature Management (TTM), and critical care to prevent recurrence and neurological damage. A clear understanding of cardiac arrest's diagnosis, risk factors, and management is vital for reducing mortality. Adherence to AHA guidelines, especially rapid resuscitation, improves survival rates, making continuous CPR education essential for healthcare providers and the public.

Semarang City has experienced significant growth over the past five years (2020 – 2025). Rapid urban development has been positively correlated with increasing environmental burdens, particularly in solid waste generation. In Indonesia, the largest portion of municipal waste consists of food waste, followed by plastic waste. Among these, plastic waste is the most difficult to manage. It is estimated that around 70% of Indonesian households still burn their waste as a means of disposal. The burning of waste, especially plastics, releases toxic emissions such as dioxins, furans, and fine particulates, which pose serious health risks, particularly to the respiratory system. This practice not only worsens air quality but also threatens public health. This community service program focused on providing education about the thermal properties of waste and the negative impacts of plastic burning on both the environment and human health. The program aimed to improve public knowledge of the thermal characteristics of various types of waste and the hazards of plastic burning through accessible scientific outreach. The initiative is expected to raise awareness and understanding of environmentally friendly waste management alternatives such as waste separation, composting, and recycling. The activity was conducted in RW 01, Tugurejo Village, Tugu District, Semarang City.

The increasing number of students in major cities such as Medan has created an urgent need for temporary housing that is adequate, comfortable, and sustainable. In response, the Indonesian government, through the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), launched the "One Thousand Towers Program," which includes the development of rental apartment buildings (Rusunawa) for students. However, housing provision must go beyond quantity—it must also consider environmental aspects and the quality of life for its occupants. Therefore, a green architecture approach serves as the foundation for the design of environmentally friendly student housing. This project aims to create a vertical residential facility that not only fulfills the basic function of shelter but also supports learning activities, social interaction, energy efficiency, and environmental sustainability. The design applies key principles of green architecture such as natural lighting, cross ventilation, the use of eco-friendly materials, and the integration of green open spaces. In addition to double-room residential units, the building is equipped with supporting facilities such as study areas, a library, cafeteria, and rooftop garden. The design methodology integrates both primary and secondary data analysis, as well as a comprehensive site study covering climate, noise levels, circulation, and building orientation. The building form concept is developed modularly and efficiently through mass transformation, resulting in an inner court that provides natural light and air. Supported by energy-saving utilities, this design is expected to offer a student housing solution that is not only functional and aesthetic but also contributes to sustainable and high-quality urban development.
