In the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia article 30 paragraph (1) Every citizen is entitled and obliged to participate in the defence and security efforts of the state and paragraph (2) The defence and security efforts of the state are carried out through a universal people's defence and security system by the Indonesian National Army and the Indonesian National Police of the Republic of Indonesia as the main force, and the people as a supporting force. This relates to the development of state security and resilience efforts, one of which is the conscription efforts that have been implemented in several countries such as South Korea and Thailand. But military training in Indonesia is only given to the Indonesian National Army, which in essence is something that is directly related to the profession being undertaken. This study uses a descriptive research method which approaches by collecting literature data and analysed by the author. The results of this study confirm that currently Indonesia does not need conscription because it is not in a state of emergency or war for a long period of time so far.

The world of education, especially Civics learning, requires innovation and variation in the learning methods applied. The brain-based learning method is very interesting because optimizing brain work can be started in a simple way. Educators' knowledge of fundamental questions about "what is good for a child's brain?" is the essence of applying this learning method. This is research that uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. The process of data analysis is done through reduction, display, verification, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study state that the Brain-Based Learning Method with cybernetic learning theory is an innovative alternative in Civics subjects, so that learning is more efficient and fun. This learning method can be carried out in simple ways, such as paying attention to brain nutrition in students, paying attention to brain relaxation such as stretching or relaxing and listening to music, paying attention to plants and class aromas that can improve brain performance, paying attention to recess, and playing games in class.

This phenomenon has prompted Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) enthusiasts to seek innovative brand marketing strategies to strengthen the visual identity of their brands. Madang Kebab Nusantara is a nascent SME operating in the food industry and is currently in need of a robust brand identity amidst a competitive landscape within the same sector. In my capacity as a graphic designer with a solid educational background, I am entrusted with the responsibility of cultivating creative ideas in visual design, including logos, packaging, and mascots, to establish a professional image for the client's brand. Direct interaction with clients enables me to comprehend the needs of SMEs, articulate concepts, and deliver design solutions that align with the brand's essence, ensuring that the client's brand captures the attention of consumers in the market.

More than just a personal expression, the importance lies in the observer's perception and response, making it the primary focus in the visual communication design process. The success of a design is determined by its ability to effectively communicate ideas, stories, or information to the observer or targeted audience. Therefore, alignment between the intended message and the observer's perspective and understanding becomes the key to success in visual communication design. With a well-crafted design, the logo can establish an emotional connection with stakeholders, build trust, and enhance the appeal of the orphanage in the eyes of the public.

Pulau Jambu village, located in Kampar Regency, Riau, Indonesia, has an area of 60.7 km2 and a population of around 3,254 people, with the majority adhering to Islam. This village is divided into four hamlets: Sungai Betung, Kampung Panjang, Kampung Baru, and Pulau Jambu. This article describes the four main pillars that form the essence of Indonesian people's lives in Pulau Jambu Village: the "Kukerta Bangun Kampung" program as a form of community service, a lively 1 Muharram celebration, outreach efforts about stunting, and the commemoration of independence on August 17.each of these elements reflects cultural identity, religious values, health challenges, and the spirit of patriotism in the village community. With a variety of activities that include Adhan, Recitation, Tahfidz competitions, as well as festive competitions on August 17, Pulau Jambu Village strengthens Indonesian unity and culture while overcoming the problem of stunting and improving people's welfare

Land ownership rights are one of the fundamental human rights. However, land ownership rights for Indonesian citizens who marry foreigners are specifically regulated in Indonesian laws and regulations. These provisions aim to maintain state sovereignty and prevent land control by foreign parties. Based on Indonesian laws and regulations, Indonesian citizens who marry foreigners can only have rights to certain land, namely use rights, rental rights for buildings, ownership rights to apartment units, and ownership rights to residential or residential houses. Ownership rights to land can only be owned by Indonesian citizens. This research aims to examine the regulation of land ownership rights for Indonesian citizens who marry foreigners in Indonesian legislation. The law regarding mixed marriages is regulated in Article 57 of Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage. In essence, mixed marriages allow Indonesian citizens to choose the citizenship they will follow, whether the citizenship of the husband or wife, in line with the provisions of Article 26 of Law Number 12 of 2006 concerning Citizenship of the Republic of Indonesia. Indonesian citizens who undergo mixed marriages have the possibility to create a marriage agreement that allows the separation of property between spouses during the marriage period, while maintaining their citizenship status..

The 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia stipulates that Indonesian citizens must participate in efforts to defend the country. This is contained in article 27 paragraph 3 which reads, "Every citizen has the right and obligation to participate in efforts to defend the country". Developing and attitude of defending the country can be done with several efforts, such as providing compulsory military education which has been implemented in several countries such as South Korea. Basic military training in Indonesia is only given to Indonesian National Soldiers, which in essence is something that is directly related to the profession they are undertaking. This journal seeks to explain how the public perceives the implementation of military service in Indonesia the form of a komponen cadangan (komcad) as part of the country’s defense and security system.

In this abstract, we will explain the essence of the democratization of education in Islam and its impact on the development of a generation that has morals and makes positive contributions to society. The democratization of education in Islam includes the development of leadership skills and values. Islam teaches the values ​​of fair and responsible leadership. Therefore, a democratic education system in an Islamic context must pay special attention to the formation of students' character and leadership, so that they can contribute positively to society. Democratization of education in Islam is not just the implementation of the concept of democracy in educational practice, but also reflects Islamic values ​​that encourage justice, equality and active participation. By understanding and applying these principles, Islamic education can be a means of producing a generation that is not only academically intelligent, but also has noble character and is able to play an active role in building a just and harmonious society.

The Society 5.0 era reflects the world's transition towards a society that integrates digital technology with everyday life. In this context, traditional culinary delights, such as lemang, have the potential to evolve and maintain their relevance amidst changing times. Lemang, a traditional rice-based food prepared by steaming it in bamboo sticks, has become an inseparable part of the culinary heritage of people in several Southeast Asian countries. However, with technological developments and shifts in people's consumption patterns, there is a tendency to ignore traditional culinary delights such as lemang. Therefore, it is important to implement strategies that can promote lemang so that they remain in demand in the Society 5.0 era. Integration of digital technology in the production, distribution and promotion processes of lemang can be a solution. Using social media platforms to promote the uniqueness and deliciousness of lemang, as well as bridging traditional craftsmen with a wider market through e-commerce are some ways to introduce lemang to a new generation. Additionally, innovation in recipes and presentation, without losing its traditional essence, can also be an interesting approach. By combining traditional values and innovation in the Society 5.0 era, lemang will not only survive, but will also increasingly develop and be accepted in the hearts of global society. Culinary is an important aspect of human culture that continues to develop along with the times. The Society 5.0 era, which is marked by the integration of digital technology in everyday life, provides new opportunities and challenges in preserving and improving traditional culinary culture such as lemang. Lemang is a traditional food from Indonesia, Malaysia and several other Southeast Asian countries made from sticky rice cooked in bamboo. This study aims to explain how technology and innovation can be used to improve Lemang culinary culture in the context of the Society 5.0 Era.

In principle, pension funds replace employee benefits. Taspen is a pension and insurance program organizer that serves ASN, judges, and civil servants. The source of funding for this pension program comes from the basic salary (gapok), additional basic salary, as well as the last monthly additional basic salary. So in essence, civil servants who have retired can rely on Taspen to manage their pension funds, which will be given in the form of monthly payments in accordance with applicable regulations. So here researchers carry out an analysis to find out what the customers in question are using the pension funds for. Are these funds managed and utilized well? This research uses a qualitative approach. data was collected using the interview method. After all the data has been collected, data analysis is carried out. The data analysis used is non-statistical data analysis. In this research, what is analyzed is the data collected in interview transcripts. Based on the research results, it is known that customers can use pension funds for various purposes, such as living costs. when retiring, investing, purchasing property, or supporting the education of children or grandchildren. Apart from that, customers also manage pension funds by carrying out financial planning, selecting investment portfolios, carrying out evaluations and monitoring, making wise expenditures, carrying out and considering insurance and protection, then consulting with financial experts.

The role of the teacher is a person who occupies a position and plays an important role in the world of education. Teachers act as mentors in their duties, namely educating. Catholic religious teachers in their duties and roles carry out multiple missions, namely as preachers and educators. As a preacher, a Catholic religious teacher takes part of the prophetic task of proclaiming the news of God's Salvation. While as an educator, the task of PAK teachers is to lead students to maturity both physical maturity and spiritual maturity. the research used in this study is descriptive qualitative, with the aim of analyzing how the role of PAK in the education of faith and character of children at school with data analysis techniques using the Miles and Huberman model. The emphasis of Catholic religious teacher education leads to three aspects, namely knowledge, skills, and attitudes that occur in the teaching and learning process systematically. So that character education is expected to be able to form a generation whose existence provides the widest possible benefit to the surrounding environment. Character education in essence is to form a nation that is resilient, competitive, noble, moral, tolerant, mutual cooperation, political spirit, dynamically developing, science and technology oriented, all of which are imbued with faith and piety to God Almighty based on Pancasila.

This study aims to identify and analyze the challenges of Islamic education in the era of globalization and modernization. The discussion focuses on what is meant by globalization and modernization? Data was obtained through literature study and then analyzed for its relevance to actual facts occurring today. Issuance of General Election Commission Regulation Number 10 of 2023 concerning the Nomination of Members of the DPR, Provincial DPRD and Regency/City DPRD, special wabil Article 8 paragraph (2) raises a new polemic because it is felt to deny the value of the struggle for democracy and the rule of law principle which has been painstakingly built so far sucks. The regulation is considered to reduce and distort the instrument of struggle for women's groups known as the affirmative action quota for women's representation of 30% in Parliament. The purpose of this study is to describe the problems that occur and discuss them in depth through methodological analysis. The research method that the author uses in this work is normative-juridical research with a library research approach which is coupled with gender theory and democratic principles and which is linked to the theme of this research discussion and uses qualitative methods. Research results Based on the description above, the authors conclude that Article 8 paragraph (2) PKPU 10/2023 is contrary to the principles of non-discrimination and the substantive equality and justice approach because it is not in line with the spirit of The Convention on the elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW ) which is further regulated in Law no. 7/1984 concerning the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women. Furthermore, the PKPU is not in line with the idea of ​​equality contained in the body of the 1945 Constitution of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia such as Article 27 paragraph (1), Article 28D paragraph (3), Article 28H paragraph (2), and Article 28I paragraph (2). Article 8 paragraph (2) PKPU 10/2023 does not follow up on the essence of the legal norms of Article 245 Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning General Elections.

The aim of this research is to find out the meaning of respect for ancestors contained in the mangongkal holi ritual of the Christian Batak community. The research method used is qualitative research with a socio-theological approach. The current understanding of the Christian Batak community regarding the mangongkal holi ritual is very different, especially after the arrival of Christianity to Batak land, some think that this ritual contains animism or something else and there are also those who think that this ritual is contrary to Christianity. This ritual cannot be said to be in conflict with Christianity, but on condition that in the ritual there is no hasipelebeguon or things related to ancestor worship because in essence, as a Christian Batak society, they must be able to balance ritual and religion. This research explains what the meaning and purpose of the mangongkal holi ritual is for the Batak people, how the ritual and things related to mangongkal holi are carried out and their relationship with Christianity, and this research also explains how ancestors are respected biblically and also in Toba Batak ways. The result of this research is to examine socio-theologically the mangongkal Holi ritual by taking the example of moving Joseph's bones, which is about how respect for ancestors is depicted.

Dishwashing soap is a cleaning product that has become a part of everyday life. With the growth of the population and changes in lifestyle, the demand for dishwashing soap continues to rise. This soap plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness, which is currently a vital aspect of health. Every homemaker relies on dishwashing soap to clean their kitchen utensils. The purpose of this initiative is to provide training to the local community in the Rambah Baru Village on how to make simple dishwashing soap. During this training, the direct production of liquid dishwashing soap is carried out using the necessary ingredients such as Texapon, Sodium sulfate (Na2SO4), foam booster, EDTA 2Na, NaCl, fragrance essence, and table salt. This production process yields approximately 20 liters of liquid dishwashing soap. Furthermore, this dishwashing soap also holds significant economic value, which can serve as a solution for improving the local economy in the village.
